After reading this and other comments I realized Kurt deserves his own thread. More incidents of delusion will be reported as they occur... Courtesy of Wrestling Observer Today Kurt Angle said that he will be doing a shoot fight on a TNA PPV in May or June since he needs time to train. He mentioned Tito Ortiz, Ken Shamrock, Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, or Daniel Puder as possible opponents. He wouldn't say who, just that the fight would be real and that it his opponent is a very good fighter with a good reputation. He was a little more respectful of Puder's abilities, if that means anything.
LWPD (I tend to give Kurt a free pass at this point because I know that mentally 'he's gone'...but somebody from Panda really needs to start monitoring what this guy is saying in public gigs when he's supposed to be representing the company...no State Athletic Commission would ever allow this 'program' he's trying to plug because...uh...it would be _ILLEGAL_) I can't stand up by myself Don't you know, baby, I need your help You're a friend of mine And I'm real real gone -Van Morrison 'Real, Real Gone'

Has anyone discussed with Kurt the likelihood that he would actually get killed in any one of those matchups with the exception of Puder.

Wow. Kurt Angle is certifiably nuts.
This is a stunning development. Calling out Ortiz, Shamrock, Colture, Liddell.
Nuts. Just nuts.

I think if Kurt calls someone out in MMA it should be Sean O'Haire. He might stand a chance against him.
Another Kurt thought I was thinking about is this: Is it possible that Kurt left for TNA because they don't have a Wellness Policy like the WWE's and he can continue to abuse the painkillers without fear of lost pay.

When "The Death of TNA" is written where in the top 5 reasons will be Kurt Angle?
My list:
1) Vince Russo 2) Kurt Angle 3) Six Sided Ring 4) Fires 5) Nobody ever really liked TNA in the first place.

The death of TNA will never actually be written because number five on your list is actually number one. When one considers that after four-and-a-half years, TNA has had such little company growth, it goes without saying that TNA has little to no fanbase.

I bet if you asked a casual wrestling fan to name 5 wrestlers in TNA, that they couldn't do it. And if you asked a non-wrestling fan to name 5 wrestlers in TNA, they would just stare at you blankly and say "what's TNA?"
