Saw this on SEScoops.com
Last night was ECW's December to Dismember PPV. Rob Van Dam's wife Sonya was at ringside for the event. Sitting front row, she had one of the best seats in the house to one of the worst PPVs of the year.
Many who ordered the event heard a loud "TNA! TNA!" chant during the main event extreme elimination chamber match. Believe it or not -- we can confirm that it was RVD's wife Sonya who started the TNA chant!
As we reported yesterday, RVD and Sabu are both extremely frustrated with ECW and are reportedly counting the days until they're no longer affiliated with the company. Could we see RVD in a 6 sided ring in 2007?
After the second half of RVD's 2006 I would be shocked if he stayed in WWE. What do you all think??

The new ECW for me has just gone down hill. I think Vince fooled some of the ECW originals into thinking that this new fed somehow would be like the old ECW in some ways. But it has turned out to be an all VKM production. I also heard Heymen might be fired. If he is...who here would think it would be a bad idea for him to go to TNA to book?! If TNA signed Heymen...well..that would be great news for that company. And since TNA wants to run the WWE bashing angle..they could use Heymen to do..because like we all know..Heymen is great at that stuff.
Sabu and RVD should get the hell out of there. I don't care where they go..I think RVD should go to ROH personally, and Sabu can go back to Japan and garbage wrestle.
If they do decide on TNA, I can't say it's a horrible idea because they will at least be given the opportunity to wrestle their style. They may not get booked well..but at least they'll get to wrestle the no holds bared style that they are so good at.

I think CM Punk was asked a few years ago: "What are you going to do if you get signed to WWE and they dont book you properly, etc and you end up like Shannon Moore?"
His response was great: "Im sure ill be shedding tears in my new house ill buy when i sign."
I think it would be a bad idea for RVD and Sabu to go to TNA.
Dont get me wrong. I am not a TNA basher!! I want to see these guys succeed and i think they have all the tools to be successful, But is bringing in high price cast offs really the answer?
We've seen Sabu, We've seen Van Dam, Kurt Angle, Dudleys, Sting, Stiener and the james gang. Been there. Done that.
Elevate AJ. Push Sabin, Homicide and Lethal. Give Daniels some room to run. Those are the guys that are your future stars.

I don't think anyone would agrue that, if the option is there, WWE is the place they'll make more money.
The questions are whether WWE wants them back, and whether money is more important to them than their wrestling (its possible, for RVD anyway, he's been with the E long enough to have the financial security to go where he wants)

I don't buy the article but if it's true, and RVD's wife really did start the chant, you can expect him to be buried alive on TV for about the next 6 months.

That's certainly true, and his wife would likely know that, meaning either : A) its not true or B) RVD already has a foot out the door, and doesn't care what happens to him as his contract runs out

it seems more likely that the story is not true.

I no this is a little late. But I kinda hope it's true. I would love to see the WWE slapped back to action and put on a show that I feel is good again. The last three PPV's have been BAD. Reports of the crazy old man,VKM, have done little to improve my belief that it'll get better. So back to the DVD collection for me. Besides I think it's funny.
