I'm pleasantly surprised that Swarm decided to keep Samoa Joe. Just out of curiosity, why did you decide to keep him? Going WAAAYY out on a limb that I probably shouldn't be on but....There's money to be made with Samoa Joe...He's pretty much the hottest thing in TNA... Oddly, the thing that suprised me most about Swarm's cuts was America's Most Wanted...They are/were TNA's premier tag team, and as was mentioned, their tag team division is great... Anyway, back to Federation space for me...

And who doesn't enjoy having a friend with his own action figure? Not for nothing, but the Hoyt action figure is one of the best one's Toybiz has done so far in the TNA line. Yeah, a lot of those TNA ones are hit and miss. Some are good and some are God awful

Hmm. Good idea with this thread.
Sting- Drop the title. - CUT. Still a name wrestler but should only be doing spot appearances at this point. Samoa Joe Eric Young Ron Killings- His spastic moves get him CUT. Elix Skipper- The guy has skills but I didn't even know he was still a "diamond in the rough". CUT B.G. James- GO AWAY - CUT Kip James- DITTO and WHAMMO to you too - DOUBLE CUT Lance Hoyt - A.J. Styles Chris Daniels Shark Boy Kurt Angle Rhino Raven - Loved him in 96'. It's 06'. CUT Brother Ray Brother Devon Brother Runt Norman Smiley Cassidy Riley - WHO? - CUT Chris Sabin Sonjay Dutt Jay Lethal: Jeff Jarrett Kevin Nash Chris Harris James Storm Chase Stevens Andy Douglas A-1 - Stiffer than Ted Arcidi - CUT Alex Shelley Johnny Devine- Out of the Papparazzi in two months- CUT Petey Williams Christian Cage Abyss Robert Roode Homicide Hernandez David Young - As bland as his character. CUT Matt Bentley - Traci isn't here to save you. - CUT Frankie Kazarian Senshi Austin Starr
Gotta add - Kurt Angle. Also CUT: The six sided ring, Larry Z, Slick Johnson, Don West. Tenay can stay but he must become "The Professor" Mike Tenay and go back to being a color man. When he actually knew the wrestling holds.

Not a brother, a roomate...but yeah we played a card. I remember a Cordanus/Mensar vs. Stars and Stripes match for some reason...other then that, no clue. Amazing. That was the first ever BIG FUCKING CARD. Stars and Stripes vs. Blacklist was the hottest feud of the year. I totally remember it. awesome.

I really don't think that they need to CUT anyone.... especially since almost their entire roster is on pay-per-appearance deals. They can/should continue to use the "old guard" (Angle, Sting, Steiner, Christian, Dudleys, Nash, etc) just like ECW has used theirs (Sabu, Sandman, RVD, Balls, Dreamer, Tazz, etc). They just need to figure out which ones are there to be in the title picture (like Sabu and RVD), which need to be there to entertain but put others over (Balls/Dreamer) and which can't cut it physically at this point and need to be used as mouthpieces/announcers (Tazz). They then need to make their own stars (like Punk, Thorn, Stryker, etc).
TNA's going in the right direction in some ways. Putting Douglas in as the mouthpiece for a decent tag team that can't cut a promo (the Naturals) is a good thing. Heck, they might even do the right thing with Nash (although I'd rather see him replace West at the announcers' table). Putting Angle in a program with Joe is a good idea (although I wouldn't have done it this quickly). They have some other good things going on, but they need to simplify things and make sure that they leverage their old AND new talent and not just job new talent out- and not just use old guys to put over the youngsters.
I never thought that I would say this..... but Heyman and ECW have the right formula, especially for a 1-hour show. TNA could learn a bunch from them.
