I'd keep Nash, Angle would depend on his health, but Team 3-D and James Gang I agree should be cut ASAP. A-1 and Reilly as well.

Honestly, I've watched alot of TNA and am yet to be impressed by pretty much anyone. I think a better question would be...would you even keep 12?
Samoa Joe, A.J. Styles are always acceptable, Christopher Daniels is Ok, if you give him the right competition. I enjoy Bobby Roode and can even enjoy the tag team of LAX (they'd be fine without Konan). Other then that let's review...
Sting - I don't even know who or what character he's been going for since the mid 90's. Bring back the flashy tights and kick ace road warrioresque face paint and I'll allow him to stay. Ron Killings - He's like Booker T, without charisma and not as talented. B.G. James and Kip James - I wouldn't exactly xall the New Age Outlaws "new" anymore...so they can be taking out like last week's garbage. Lance Hoyt - Probably wishes he was Kevin Nash, but would be proud to be confused for Test...either way, he sucks. Shark Boy - I personally love watching Shark Boy, but he's too small for the big leagues. Kurt Angle - One of the best in the business, if he were 100%, but I think those days are way past him. Still can be entertaining, but you risk him being injured any and every match. Rhino - He could be a decent mid-carder, but I'd never see him going past that. He only held the ECW title, because it was losing it's top talent and he can't get over anywhere like WWE, because he uses the Gore (Spear) that Edge uses in WWE. Raven - Isn't entertaining without getting blasted by chairs, Raven vs. DDP Classic! The Dudley Clan - I still think there is relevency to the Dudley's, but they have to reinvent themselves. Spike can go away, but D-Von and Bubba could still be a legit tag team. Norman Smiley - Come on, he's way more entertaining then Fit Finlay...so there's hope. I still don't think he'll ever get anywhere, but he is a good comic filler. Jeff Jarrett - I hate him with a passion...he needs to go and should had never been given a World Title anywhere. Either way at least he's fun to hate, so he's more relevent then some others. Kevin Nash - Past his prime, needs to retire...needed to about 6 or so years ago. Christian Cage - Not as easy to despise as Edge, plus doesn't have the size. He could had been an all-time great as Intercontintal Champ, but WWE didn't see that....now he'll just be another tag team specialist the rest of his life...unfortunately he's wrestling singles currently. Abyss - He's like Kane meets Mankind, only not as big or entertaining. Other then that you've got a bunch of guys that are interchangable and being led by veterans past their prime. It's just a crap shoot anyway you go. I hope TNA can produce something, but they need to ditch the six sided ring, their commentators, and a few other things to get back on track.

Matt Bently- liked when they brough back Frankie but they didn't do anything with the team Elix Skipper- Is he still on the roster? geez B.G. James- he'll stay because of JJ but his act got old long ago Kip James- ditto Lance Hoyt- had a bit of a following in the Impact Zone but that kind of died down Brother Runt- never been a fan Cassidy Riley- haven't seen him in a while Sonjay- I think the X divison needs some new blood but he stays because of intl. appeal A-1- hasn't showed me anything and I have seen a lot of his work Johnny Devine- nope David Young- I think a good worker but hes been buried so long.
Just barely got off the chopping block: The Truth and Frankie K. I agree that the Truth has been lacking direction and I don't think he's happy but I still would keep him. As for Frankie it just doesn't make sense why bring him back and then never put him on TV?

Elix Skipper B.G. James Kip James Rhino Brother Ray Brother Devon Brother Runt Norman Smiley Cassidy Riley A-1 David Young Matt Bentley
I'd actually start with Vince Russo and offer Cornette a spot on the booking team, myself. But the above is my "dirty dozen", if we're only looking at active, in-ring male talent.

About the only people I would exclude from this cut list are are Elix Skipper, who is actually a hell of a wrestler when he's kept off the mic, and Frankie Kazarian. TNA has done absolutely nothing with Kazarian since he returned, but he showed a lot of ability a couple years ago in his matches with Chris Sabin.

JMello is insane. If we did this same thing with the WWE roster he'd end up with like 8 people.

Lance Hoyt - I think he has potential. But it seems one week he gets pushed, then he disappears for a month. This is the booking, more than Hoyt's fault. But I just thinks he's too generic

But I just thinks he's too generic Oh definitely, that is the case There's no excuse to have him over huge one week and not see him in a month. He is one guy who could benefit from the James Gang being dropped from our screen. Maybe with the extra minutes on TV....they could give him something, personality or anything. And like Joe said, as long as they keep Elix Skipper off the mic, he's fantastic!!! The guy has major skills... I would have really loved to have seen him team up with someone of his calibar (come on, Elix reallllyyyyy seems out of place with Young and Diamond) to battle AJ Styles and Daniels I know he probably wouldn't be back, but I think Elix would make a heck of a team with Kid Kash, almost like TNA's answer to Superiority Complex.

You've got the story built in with Skipper and Senshi's history with Daniels (as long as they acknowledge that), and the matches would tear down the freaking house. That would be about 97 different shades of awesome.

J Mello is insane...but I prefer bigger wrestlers and I don't think there are many quality wrestlers out there today. TNA gets over hyped, because it's the closest thing to competition the WWE has and some people are so anti-McMahon, they'll watch anything. I just put in my two cents, take it for what it's worth to you. I'm not a huge fan of "pure wrestling ability", I like my athletes to be larger then life with some spectacle to them. To quote Daniel Tosh "Athletes should be required to take steroids, it's their job to entertain. I want my athletes like my video games, larger then life."
Any questions?

I don't think it's going to happen, mind you, but the quality of feud that they could put out with that would be fantastic. Drag it out over a few months, do the same thing with LAX and AMW (which I think has the potential to be a KILLER program, by the way), and then move the winners of Staniels/Triple X and AMW/LAX into a program over the tag belts. The tag division in TNA is miles ahead of WWE, and I don't think anyone on these boards could argue otherwise with a straight face. AMW is a solid team, Daniels and Styles are great together, and LAX is one of the best acts in wrestling period. You've also got old standbys like Team 3D and (ugh) the James Gang. The division is loaded. I'd love to see them really put the focus on it, and giving a little nod to their history by putting Elix and Low-Ki back together as Triple X against the other member of Triple X would be another big cog in that wheel for them.

Let's see....I would cut....All three Diamonds in the Rough, Johnny Devine, A-1, Norman Smiley, Matt Bently, Kazarian, Rhino, Raven, Riley, and Senshi. Most of the rest can entertain me, and Raven and Rhino used to, but it's getting to the point that they need to think about getting out. Also.... Lance Hoyt - I think he has potential. But it seems one week he gets pushed, then he disappears for a month. This is the booking, more than Hoyt's fault. But I just thinks he's too generic Hoyt was a good friend of mine when I lived in the Dallas area. We kind of fell out of touch when i moved south but I still see him when I can if I ever go up to visit. He's still wrestling in the fed in Arlington where I used to, PCW. He's a great guy with a huge fan base there and has the potential to be a big star. He's legitamently a big guy and very agile for his hight. I really think TNA needs to pick it up some with him. And who doesn't enjoy having a friend with his own action figure? Big Time

No Swarm, I do not have a blue ribbon for my posting ability...but I do appreciate it, since I'm told you are the only CotGer that I've ever met. BTW, in case you're wondering, it was about 6 years ago at a ComicCon in Detroit.
Sorry to go off topic on ya fellas, don't ban me.

Great thread PH
Sting Samoa Joe Eric Young
Ron Killings - Horrible, I just can't stand him
Elix Skipper - talented, but I just can't see why you should keep him
B.G. James - Tag-team division is the only thing TNA has over WWE. You don't need him anymore.
Kip James - Same as above Lance Hoyt - I would have chosen him, but his last match w/ Abyss, I was impressed, so I'll keep him. A.J. Styles Chris Daniels Shark Boy Kurt Angle Rhino
Raven - Like everyone else has said, he's washed up, and there's not much he's adding to TNA at this point. Brother Ray - I would say dump these guys for the same reason as the James Gang, but I'd like to give these guys one more chance. Brother Devon Brother Runt Norman Smiley
Cassidy Riley - Who? Chris Sabin
Sonjay Dutt - he's interesting, but not that interesting. Jay Lethal Jeff Jarrett - I know I should have crossed him off, but I like Jarrett. That's just me. I don't think he should be in the main event right now, since Christian would be a better top heel, but I wouldn't mind even seeing him as a manager to help other up and coming heels generate more heat. Kevin Nash Chris Harris James Storm Chase Stevens Andy Douglas
A-1 - He's in limbo, nothing much you can do with him Alex Shelley
Johnny Devine - Same as A1 Petey Williams Christian Cage Abyss Robert Roode Homicide Hernandez
David Young - Who?
Matt Bentley - Same as A1 and Devine
Frankie Kazarian - Same as A1, Devine and Bentley Senshi Austin Starr
I'm pleasantly surprised that Swarm decided to keep Samoa Joe. Just out of curiosity, why did you decide to keep him?

And who doesn't enjoy having a friend with his own action figure? Not for nothing, but the Hoyt action figure is one of the best one's Toybiz has done so far in the TNA line.
