Personally, I'd like to have seen LAX shoot on Vince. Maybe shoot on him saying he got cold feet in a political climate with the Muhammad Hussein angle and would get cold feet to ever sign LAX. I don't know why everyone wants shoot interviews. I think that is stupid. Playing the "Vince treated me bad" card is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO played out. Zzzzzzz We've heard Rhyno, Christian, Dudleys, and now the James Gang do it. It's stupid. If you have to constantly use VKM to have interviews and angles, you suck. It works if not overdone and TNA has definitely used up its share of this tired angle. Let it rest. VKM is pro wrestling. Learn to deal with it. I didn't say I wanted shoot interviews...but if they were going to have someone do it, why waste something on the James Gang, who are old and played out. Why not have a hot young team like LAX have that spot

Completely agree, the fact these two losers keep talking about DX and now look like they are gonna rehash the "we're goin to war" angle with the WWE is pathetic. The two originals got back together, Michaels & HHH were DX, everyone knows that. After Michaels got hurt they had a good run but it started with those 2 & Chyna. She should be the only one to do it if anyone complained, not that she's sober enought to do so. No one would have cared about Rockabilly and The Roadie had it not been for DX, they should be praising Mcmahon every week that anyone even still remembers or has a clue of who they are. The E knows to even acknowledge the washups that call them out will only help TNA attract viewers who could care less about the product. Sorry for the rant, but listening to Billy Gunn with a microphone makes me want to headbutt my television.

Spoiler Alert... Check out the spoilers for the next Impact tapings. No more James Gang...instead, we get "VKM" and a VKM vs. V(incent) K(ennedy) M(cMahon) feud. Hmmm....sounds a lot like Oklahoma, Juvie, and others in the old WCW. Yeah, Russo's changed, all right. Admin Edit -- blacked out; dead space doesn't work for spoilersI went ahead and posted the spoilers. But that's just stupid. I appreciate that the TNA faithful are willing to see how things play out, but ..are you kidding me?? TNA: there's talent on that roster but no one on the booking team knows how to actually use them and a lot of time is wasted trying to push has-beens. Very disappointing.

There's a lot of things wrong with this angle. The one that bugs me that I haven't seen anyone else talking about is: where does it go? There is no place for this to progress to beyond The James Gang (will not use new name ever) doing a few sophomoric skits and cutting a few promos. It's not like some other team , say Bentley and Kazarian are going to start defending Vince and DX. This is why Russo's not a good booker. He's forgotten (assuming he ever knew) how to tell a story. Say what you will about the Bold and the Beautiful castaways who write for the E, at least they have some familiarity with basic narrative structure.

Sorry for the rant, but listening to Billy Gunn with a microphone makes me want to headbutt my television. Best sentence this week; thank you ;D Yes, TNA comes to Billy and says "Monty, you can't say 'I've got two words for ya' anymore, come up with something new." And the best he could come up with was "Get it, got it, good." What the hell is that.

I saw the James Gang tirade and completely missed the point of it. There are ways that stories like this can be told within the squared -- or hexagonal -- circle. Having two midcarders hop into the ring to whine about being midcarders was lame.
It seems like promoters today would rather blow their wad with wrestlers ranting about how they're being put down and treated unfairly than actually put thought into how they can grow that angle into existence with booking.
I agree with the forum member who encouraged TNA to use Jim Cornette.
Or hire Gabe Sapolsky.
In any case, I've never been a fan of Russo's work. And that's me being nice about it.

That was one of the best promo's they actually had (when they pretended to be the Dudley Boys) and it was completely ruined with that one.

CPB....here's the ting...has the James Gang done anything in the last few months to merit some kind of storyline based on them complaining about how the WWE treated them? Didn't they cut a similar promo a month or so back that got very little fan reaction? Aren't there about a dozen younger guys on that roster that could use some character development? Even if you don't think the segment was *bad* do you really think spending 10 minutes with these two is the most prudent use of their TV time? I agree the NAO/James Gang are DONE. They like DX were once "cool". But let the Truth, Kazarian & Bentley and others get the chance to work on their character.Shawn Michaels said something I think is largely ignored but that I really liked is the fans decide who is popular and we put characters over. The fans know not Dixie, JJ or even VKM know what they want. I want pizza and good weekly wrestling. I can get a pizza the wrestling is something that cannot be delivered the WWE and TNA show signs of life and excitement then...crap out.

Call me thick (Okay ?) . But what was the hell point of the shoot ? . "We are joining DX ?" or "Screw DX" . I just didn't get it . I'm sure if TNA wanted they could of cut it all out ? .
