this is just a lame rumor from the shills at tnawrestlingnews.com, so take it for what it is:
Lita Leaving WWE, Possibly Headed To TNA?, More Report by TNA Wrestling News Staff on 10/29/2006 at 03:59 PM
The reports & rumors on Lita leaving World Wrestling Entertainment are indeed true as she plans on ending her seven-year relationship with the company by the end of November. She doesn't plan on renewing her contract, which is set to expire by the end of next month. Lita will be finishing things up by Survivor Series, give or take a week in either direction.
Lita is leaving to pursue a career in local acting in Atlanta. She has a few plays and and potential independent film roles & leads lined up. Most likely, she'll end up doing local theatre in Atlanta. Regarding her future in wrestling, WWE believes that she'll wind up in TNA at some point due to the schedule. There have been no talks as of this time though.
Also, the latest issue of WWE Magazine surprisingly teases her forthcoming departure by saying that "she will possibly (be) moonsaulting her way out of WWE." *********************************************************************
Considering almost every episode of Impact is overbooked so that TNA can squeeze every single member of the roster onto the screen, I definitely think it would be a huge bonus to add another woman to the non-existant women's division, especially one who is a man-faced injury-prone botchfest with no mic skills whatsoever.

Who they can't even call Lita. I still wouldn't be surprised to see them sign her(though why they can't sign Molly....that I've never figured out)

Yeah, stupid TNA for...
...well, they haven't actually done anything yet.
Someone in WWE apparently thinks they well, and it was reported by a website with no real track record...so yeah, let's bash away!

If they can sign Angle, I'm convinced they COULD get anyone. Should they, though? Lita is a name and could be a solid valet as she has been for Edge IMO

Wait a second .... Lita .... wants to be an .... actress? I cringe every time she attempts to say something. She is the worst actor in the WWE, which is really saying something.

PH, is that sarcasm I sense? I don't see TNA being stupid enough to hire Liia. Not a lot of talent there if you ask me.

ROFL.....yeah, that got me as well. And the only reason Lita was an effective valet for Edge was because the real life Lita-Hardy-Edge situation made it convenient to get instant heat by turning Lita and aligning her with Edge. if you actually look at what she has to offer, she's done nothing for Edge since the fan's reaction to that whole affair died down.

I don't know if she hasn't gotten him ANYTHING.... she's still good for some cheap heat out there. Still, I agree with everyone that TNA has no real need for her whatsoever at this point.

Lita's ability to deliver a promo is among the worst ever and she wants to be an actress. That somehow makes total sense.

A name and perhaps T&A for TNA. Perhaps as yet another piece to the Nash/Shelley/Starr group. She has an upside but just how much is a question.

Bah, if it's coming from TNAwrestlingnews.com it's probably a false report. Lita in TNA would be a waste of space. They had something with Gail Kim and Jackie and that fell apart. They hire Christy Hemmie and now she does nothing but tell us what's up next. The rest of the "knockouts" just stand around ringside and blow kisses at the camera. Why does TNA even have them? Who are they? I hear future LWFer SoCal Val is among them, but that's about it. Lita would have nothing to do in TNA.
Of course it's not like she's doing much now. Big Time

Sorry Levertis...Lita totally trumps Melina and/or Nitro for worst, well everything...Since Edge happened, Lita's become uber-trash...There's very little, if any, of value left to be salvaged...Here's hoping TNA doesn't make them attempt...
All my opinion by the way, when she first started with Essa Rios, she was my favorite Diva...Team Extreme was awesome...The opinions expressed are those of a former fan...
