I'm serious, too.
The last few weeks, Jeff's largely stayed off of television. He's popped up in a couple of video features, and he's sewn the seeds for an eventual face turn (and hopefully drop down the card) through BG James' comments the last two weeks. More importanly, though, is that what limited time he's had on camera has been used to further storylines and add some depth to his character beyond "I'm the King of the Mountain! I'm the King of the Mountain!" It's actually showed some anxiety and vulnerability to Jeff, and I think that's a good thing.
He's been a total team player since the last PPV. He's stepped aside to let Joe and Angle really be the focus of the shows, and we're no longer getting bombarded with him every segment of iMPACT! In this dosage, I've enjoyed what Jeff Jarrett has brought to the table. Here's hoping that this trend, along with the trend of much better TNA programming, continues over the next few months.

double j bites the big one. That's the thing - I normally agree with this sentence 100%. For the last month or so, though, that hasn't been the case, and I wanted to give credit where it was due.

If you watch the new Sting DVD, Sting states that Jeff's going through some tough stuff right now outside of wrestling and I for one have always like Jeff Jarrett and I think he's making the right move and stepping down from his purch. I still hope Sting wins the belt at BFG, but I want to see JJ have a part in TNA... turning FACE in my view would be and a needed change for Jeff Jarrett.

If that is the case and I would never wish bad things on anyone for real. Then Jeff should drop the strap, go off TV for a while and get things sorted out. Upon his return he should turn face. Doing it now doesn't make sense.
His face may be off TV but he's still the champ and the focus of the show. When that changes I give him props.
