Really bad sign, conmsider ECW at 11 PM did a 2.1. I'd also like to throw out there that the downward trend started after JJ won the belt again. The ratings had sort of leveled of at the 1.3-1.4 mark, then as soon as they announced that JJ was keeping the belt and that the PPV main event was another 4-Way, they dipped. Sort of sandbags the theory that Jarrett is a "great heel." I think TUF ending has more to do with the rating drop than Jarrett, I'm sure I'm not the only one that will leave the TV on to watch impact after TUF, but that doesn't always bother to tune in special.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but there were several weeks where TUF wasn't the lead-in for TNA due to scheduling and the ratings remained steady. Also, if the loss of TUF was the reason for the drop-off there would have been an initiial dip and then the numbers would've leveled off. This is a gradual weekly decline that goes back about six weeks to when JJ won the belt back. TUF finishing is probably a contributer, but the pattern indicates that the relation between JJ's title win and the ratings drop isn't a coincidence.

I contribute the drop in ratings to it being on opposite "Cooking with Chicken"...IMO

There are way too many multiple team/man matches. How often do we see 1-on-1 stuff in TNA? Almost never.
Every match Cornette made for next week was at least 3 guys or teams (except Steiner-CC). It sucks. You can't overplay those kind of matches.
That creative team just doesn't get it. They never will. RIP TNA.

This comes back to the point where they only have an hour to show their talent...I'm sure if they had Raw's extra hour which they waste away with chit chat, you'd probably see more 1 on 1 matches...Plus with Spike TV's commercial bombardment, that hour basically turns into 40 minutes...If you have a better way to fit your roster into 40 minutes of air time I'm sure they'd love to hear it...

You don't have to have every guy on TV every week. You need to have less of The James Gang and 3D and LAX. That's just to name a few.

If you have a better way to fit your roster into 40 minutes of air time I'm sure they'd love to hear it... ECW only gets an hour and they do it. If Vince ran TNA it would be successful. But because he does not run it, it sucks. That's basically all it boils down to.

Lose Steiner, James Gang, and A-1 for starters. Some of the women can go. Get Larry Zbysko off TV. C'mon!

And there is an easy solution to that...it's called NOT SIGNING EVERY PERSON WHO HAS EVER BEEN FIRED BY VINCE AND/OR WCW... this isn't freaking rocket science. Anybody who's ever run a semi-successful EWR campaign with a small company that had a show with 8 slots could run a company better than the people at TNA. Common sense dictates you don't have 40 active wrestlers on your roster with one hour-long show a week.

Seriously, during the latter days of WCW, Scotty Steiner as Big poppa Pump was easily the most entertaining character on television. Not just in the WCW, not just in wrestling ..but on television
He was a legitimately insane, roided up freak that wore a metal headress to the ring, every other promo was a shoot that had nothing to do with storylines, he was getting into publicized fights backstage, and was apparently feare dby damn near everyone in the company. What more do you want from a guy? he was like a cross between the Anna Nicole Smith Show, the UFC, and Abobo from Double Dragon.
