Almost 24 hours later and NO ONE has posted about the show...

Yes. I simply didn't watch it. Last week was enough for me.

What I saw of it sucked. Granted it wasn't very much, but it was a third of the show.
I hope that helps.

I fell asleep right after the Canadian Destroyer spot. Everything before that was awful. The way they cut away after the opening segment was some of the worst production work I have ever seen on a television show. Baw Gawd.

I thought the show was decent... Eric Young was really funny, and, while Cornette was on the mic too long, the shot at Vince was really funny...
For those that missed it, he said (i'm paraphasing) that he thought a title had to mean something, so Jarrett has to keep it, otherwise he mind as well give the belt to his son-in-law or something.

Yeah, I read the spoilers a few weeks back. And there was NOTHING they could've booked that would have made up for what has to be the single most stupid plot device in TNA title history.
And that's saying a lot.
Think about it: Jim cornette is supposed to be PUNISHING Jeff Jarrett, so he makes him face the winner of a fatal four way. how does that make sense? Aren't you actually setting up JJ to face an exhausted opponent? Wouldn't it make more sense to put JJ against ALL FOUR CONTENDERS, preferably in a Gauntlet match since they just did King of the Mountain?
The booking makes no sense, and the storyline explanation makes no sense. I'd much rather watch the Colber Report than that bulls---.

Ditto PH.
TNA will never grow as long as JJ is the top guy.

The show had it's moments, my fav was when Spike got dropped through the table and (i can't tell which one did this),but he kept saying, he's dead...he's dead, my god he's broken in half, and the whole breaking up Team Canada leaves some interesting possibilites, for Eric Young and Bobby Roode, unfortunately i think Petey will be pushed into the gaggle of X division guys with no storylines or pushes...

Joe wins the four way, kills Jarrett...I'm failing to see what's not to like...
predictable sure, but it puts Joe over, and gets Jarrett off TV...Don't watch the show until then if you don't want to, but you all know it's going to happen...

Here's the thing: even with this rather weak justification, why did you put the belt on JJ? Wouldn't Sting have been the better choice? He's got a bigger name. A win over him means more. He's a better draw, relatively speaking. He has storyline history and beef with Joe. And when you are a company with a small but dedicated audience, why continually push the one guy that actually turns them off. JJ doesn't draw good heat; he draws, "damn I am sick of this" heat. So why keep using him when he's the one guy your fans definitely WON'T get behind?

I think what was funnier was Cornette made that jab about giving the title to the son in law, and then one upped it by handing the title to the boss's (or, at least the former boss's) son

Meh, I feel the same way...Jarrett = Bad...I don't write for TNA, nor do I approve of his involvement in this storyline... I am of course missing the Abyss/James Gang connection...Further the fact that they brought in a heel to side with them, with a manager they know is evil, and yet they still come out to the meeting on opposite sides of the arena... I'm not sitting in at TNA meetings or anything, but as a frequent viewer of TNA, the show looks to be in a state of flux with Cornette around...Once again a major change with the company has caused them to lose direction...After Jarrett leaves the show, it will be interesting to see if things start to get focused with Cornette at the helm so to speak...

Oh, and I also diasapprove of the splitting up of Team Canada...Naturally this will come as no surprise...

The show was fair. Putting Cornette at the end was way too long. He had to explain five different things and it really dragged.
I'm glad Team Canada was split. It should allow better development of Young and Bobby Roode. Even though Jarret remains champ, the logical step would be to have Joe take the belt after the 4 Way match.
I don't get the James/Abyss conection either. Are they heels now?
I TIVO all wrestling shows so I see them when I can. But I agree the postings here are few and far between.
