I am pretty sure Sonjay will be one of the first few people Nash bowls over. I am not so sure that Sabin has the personality to get way over with the fans. We will have to see about this one. Does it mean something to beat someone like Nash or Sting at this point in their career? Of course it does. Are you kidding me? It does not mean as much as it did 10 years ago but it is still the same as beating a 7 foot tall former champ. You can't tell me it didn't mean anything for Umaga or Shelton Benjamin to beat Flair at 55 years old. He is a senior citizen and it still means that these guys are moving up on the card. Did it mean something for Edge to beat Mick Foley in a hardcore match (Mick's match). Does it mean whenever someone beats Shawn Michaels. Yes it does. Even HHH is gettin up there in age. And you better believe it means something when Batista and Cena beat him. How can you compare those three, especially HBK and and Triple H at this point in their careers, to Kevin Nash? Flair, Michaels and Triple H are three of the best wrestlers ever. Kevin Nash is somebody who had a hell of a run, based in large part on a once-a-lifetime storyline. Even people that haven't watched wreslting since the end of the boom-period would recognize Nash as a has-been. The X-division idea is cool, but I wouldn't overplay how important it is to beat Kevin Nash.

I don't think Nash has much left and I think what really did it to him with TNA atleast is when he no showed Bound For Glory, after being hospitalized with chest pains. Which later turned out to be a mild cardiac episode. I mean sure it is something to get check out but I think the timing of has really affected any momentum he might have gotten or if he would have been World Champion.
I would love to see him do well and make some semblence of impact in TNA but I think with his knees and quad in question. One has to wonder if this X-Division attack is just a way for him to walk through them while he has to do very little in the ring. They do the spot fest, he may or may not fall down and then just get up to ground and pound.
Will be interesting to see what happens and if they can pull this off as it sounds like an interesting angle. Who knows maybe Shelly will have some kind of connection with Nash? Maybe a new Wolfpack will be created out of this?
