Team Japan(Hiroki Goto, Minoru, Black Tiger vs.
Team USA(Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal, Alex Shelley)
Team Japan does more mat wrestling with Team USA doing more high-flying. Some cool double and triple team moves by USA. They fight back and forth as Team Mexico(Shocker, Puma, Magno) comes out and watches. Shelley hits a frogsplaxh on Goto that looked like the win, but Goto kicked out. Chaos broke out with Shelley superkicking Dutt when Minoru ducks. Black Tiger ends it with a Tiger Suplex on Jay Lethal. ****
Christopher Daniels vs. Senshi(Low-Ki)
Match starts as a brawl going back & forth until Senshi gains control with a double foot stomp on the chest that was really stiff looking. Daniels takes back control with a Jumping DVD then a BME. Daniels hits a modified STO and goes for the Angel's Wings, but is reversed with Senshi landing on top and using the 2nd rope for the pin. ***1/2
Konnan v. Bullet Bob in armwrestling
Bob wins and LAX is forced to be whipped by belts 10x. Pretty lame. *
X-Scape Match
Elix Skipper v. Petey Williams v. Puma v. Chase Stevens v. Shark Boy v. Chris Sabin
Simon Diamond and Scott Damoure make a deal to have their wrestlers work together. Williams eliminates Shark Boy with the Canadien Destroyer then all goes wild. Stevens does a shooting star press from the top of the cage missing almost everyone, but still kinda' cool. Skipper eliminates Stevens after an Emerald Fusion. The remaining 3 attack Sabin, but Williams double crosses Skipper with a sunset flip for the pin win. Sabin then hits a CradleShock on Puma after Williams slingshot's Puma onto Sabin's shoulders and Puma is eliminated. Sabin hits his tree of woe dropkick and tries to escape, but Damoure hold his legs not letting him drop to the floor. Williams climbs out and tries to jump to the floor, but lands on Damoure's shoulders. Sabin drops to the floor for win. ***
Somoa Joe vs. Sabu
Sabu has a cast on left arm and brings a chair into the cage with him. He throws it a Joe early, but Joe quickly turns it around. Sabu is juiced from a face to the cage(suprise!). Sabu comes back and hits an Arabian Facebuster followed by a triple jump legdrop. Sabu pulls out a spike and goes for Joe, but is put into a cross armbreaker on his broken arm with the ref taking the spike from Sabu. Joe later hits a Diamond(Somoan) Cutter from the top rope on Sabu. Sabu comes back again and goes for another triple jump, but Joe throws the chair at Sabu and hits the Muscle Buster for the win. ***
Capture the Flag
Team Canada(Eric Young, Bobby Roude, A-1) vs.Team 3D(Ray, D-Von, Runt)
Runt protects Canadian flag and Eric Young protects USA flag. Back and Forth brawling then a Bubba Bomb off the top rope when Roude tries to go for the flag. Runt tries to get the flag, but is to short to reach over the cage. Ref gets bumped. Whazz Up!! on Young. Ray grabs flag, but ref is still down. Canada comes back, and Young replaces the US flag. D'amoure knocks out doorkeeper and puts a table into the ring. Runt rolls off table as Young goes through it with a flying elbow. Runt then hits Acid Drop on A-1, Ref is up. Roude is hit with the 3D. Runt jumps over and grabs flag for win. D'amoure is 3D'ed after the match. ***
Christy Hemme comes out and delivers a note to Mike Tenay. Note announces review of all TNA personel and a new head of TNA management(doesn't say who). Also it says that Larry Z is on probation, and the new head of management is reinstated. Larry Z who is out trying to see the note see's Raven come through the tunnel. Raven is in a lot better shape. Larry Z runs into the cage and security makes Raven leave.
Christian Cage vs. Abyss
Abyss runs up the ramp to attack the entering CC, but is tackled by CC. They brawl outside the ring and in the crowd for about 5 minutes. Match goes into the cage with Abyss in control. Abyss dominates for awhile with CC having mini comebacks. Ref gets bumped. CC hits a tornado DDT off the top rope. Mitchell throws the NWA title and his cane into the cage through the camera hole. Abyss tries to hit CC with belt,but CC ducks and hits the Unprettier.Ref is up. Abyss kicks out. CC climbs the cage and hits with a frog splash from the top of the cage. Abyss again kicks out. Abyss reverses another Unprettier and hits with the Shock Treatment, then dumps out the thumbtacks that where in the ring. CC smashes Mitchell's cane on Abyss. Christian climbs to the top of the cage again, but Abyss throws the ref into the cage making CC lose his balance and hold on outside the Cage. Abyss climbs to the top rope and CC sunsetflip-powerbombs him into the thumbtacks. Another ref comes out, and Abyss kicks out again. CC grabs the NWA belt and tries to hit Abyss, but is Blackhole Slammed. CC kicks out. Mitchell gives abyss more tacks and he dumps them out. CC reverses a choke slam and Unprettier on the tacks for the win. Abyss attacks a celebrating CC, wraps hjs hand in his chain, and punches CC. Christian is juiced. He's then thrown out of the ring and hung with the chain. Mitchell and Abyss steal the NWA belt. ****1/2
Sting's Warriors vs. Jarrett's Army
Harris and AJ to start out the match. Back and forth action for 3 1/2 minutes. Harris gets trapped between the cage and ropes and is hit with 2 Stinger Splashes. Wildcat juiced. Harris comes back and hit Catatonic. Styles comes back and hits the Styles Clash (Hebner counts the shoulders even though there are no pins yet after each finisher.) Storm enters next. AJ tries a baseball slide, but Storm ducks, and the cage door hits Gail Kim. Eye of the Storm on AJ. Double team on AJ. AJ juiced. Rhyno enters. Does "house of fire" on AMW. Storm juiced. Misses Gore on Storm. Rhyno juiced. AMW takes control for a short while until Jarrett comes out next. Rhyno meets him on the ramp then AJ comes out also. Double team on JJ until they throw him back into the cage. AMW jumps AJ and Rhyno as they get back into the ring. Truth enters (no dancing tonight!) and does the "house of fire" Tower of Doom spot with AJ on top of the cage. Steiner enters. Belly to Belly suplex on everyone. Top rope belly to belly on the Truth(almost screwed it up). Army takes control. Sting enters and "House of fires" on the Army. Puts all 4 into the corner and hits 2 Stinger Splashes. Top comes down on cage and Sting's Warriors all grab weapons. Storm finds a way out of the top of the cage and AJ follows him. Storm hits superkick on AJ. Sting and JJ face off with guitars, but Sting trades his for a baseball bat and smashes JJ's guitar. Sting grabs the other guitar, but is hit with a low blow by Steiner. On top of the cage Storm has set up a table, but now AJ stands up a ladder and does a splash from the ladder through the table on Storm. In the ring Truth is Stroked face first into a chair. JJ gets Gored. Rhyno is then put into the Steiner Recliner. Sting comes up behind and scorpion death drops Steiner. Harris hit Sting with a punch with his handcuff on his knuckles. Wildcat puts Scorpion Deathlock on Sting, but Sting picks his ankle for the reverse into his own Scorpion Deathlock for the win. **1/2
PPV goes right off the air with barely any celebration by Sting's Warriors.
PPV was good. The Christian Cage vs. Abyss match was a lot better than I thought it would be. Lethal Lockdown was exactly what I thought it would be and worse! The ladder and table on the top of the cage was the only cool spot and didn't look very impressive from the angle they showed.
