Has Raven gone for good from TNA ? . What is the story ? I know he was involved in the angle with Larry Z trying to force him out . They got screwed at a PPV with his foot on the rope , that Larry saw but didn't do or said nothing . That might Raven was history . Will he ever return ?

The last thing I read was he was having some problems(sick or glandular...I can't remember) that was causing him to gain weight and he needed time off. He is expected to be back to TNA after a few months.

much like his hair needs to be, Raven is washed up.
...which makes a return to TNA almost certian.

Raven has either hyper or hypo thyroidism. It can be kinda serious and has for sure made it hard for him to keep in wrestling shape. I would think that you would know something about this, Swarm. I would not say that Raven is washed up at all. Hopefully he will be back in TNA soon.

Raven was an awesome character in his prime, but even during his last stint in the WWE, he was done.
Shame he was wasted all of his prime years though....he had a vast amount

Hmm, I wonder if there is any way for Tom to bring him into the LOW card game?

Shame he was wasted all of his prime years though....he had a vast amount I agree he is done as well. Though I have to disagree that I think he wasn't wasted. Actually, I think in his prime when he was in ECW, that was the perfect fit for him. His feud with the Sandman was awesome. WWE/WCW never gave him any kind of storyline that actually made you care about his character. That's where Paul Heyman was great as a promoter, great storyline writer for his talent!

I've always been a fan of Raven's. ECW and even to a lesser extent, WCW. If it weren't for politics, 'The Flock' would have been very big, and Raven would have been at the top of the list of flock members getting pushed. I read that during his WCW stint, he was constantly being held back by other guys with stroke, but because he was SO popular, they were forced to give him his time on TV etc...they just never made any of his feuds mean anything in terms of belts.
He was never a good fit for WWE, though he was one of the better 'hardcore' wrestlers during that time.
I'd have to agree that his best days are behind him, and I have noticed that he has put on quite a few pounds over the past 2 years or so. That being said, he's a lot like Jake The Snake...he's got one of the best minds for the business...he just got sidetracked once too often with drugs and other 'distractions' that derailed what could have been a very VERY good career.
Still...he is a legit 'LOW', but would never be considered a great. I hope he makes it back and has one last good push before he sticks to working backstage.

Yeah Gate, I probaby didn't clarify that. I did mean his runs in WCW and WWF. His ECW stuff was great.
But I would love to see him in Legends. He would be more than a welcome decision. I can actually seeing him being into it since he's such a comic, sci-fi kinda guy. Heck, wouldn't surprise me if he was one wrestler that didn't own COTG.

I never saw much of Raven in ECW. My first chance to see him was in WCW... and I loved the character and the Flock. People say that his run in WCW wasn't that good. Maybe not compared to his ECW run, but I think he was still awesome in WCW. He got a decent amount of mic time and held the US Title for a while before Goldberg squashed him. I don't know how old he is, but I would think he's still young enough to make a comeback.

I dont know fighting all those hardcore matches for years, not to mention years of supposed drug abuse I think Raven may be finished. ECW, WCW/WWE hardcore matches were tailor made for him, since their not around I dont see much more for him. I liked him a lot during the ecw and flock years but I think its all downhill from there. He cut awesome promos though, so maybe they could find something for him outside the ring.

Though I have to disagree that I think he wasn't wasted. I think Raven admitted to being drunk and/or high in a shoot interview. The Raven versus Tommy Dreamer feud had to be the best feud in all of wrestling during the 1990s. As the big two were on monthly programming cycles, Raven and Dreamer lasted a long time and that feud helped build ECW's reputation.

Raven vs Dreamer was an awesome feud and a big reason I enjoyed ECW till Raven left. I do hope he ends up in LOW. I'd love to have Raven vs Sandman in hardcore matches.
