I've been staying up on Mondays to watch the replay the last couple of weeks. As with last week's show, I thought there were more good points than bad.
Christian's "Ban-kok" bit was funny. THAT'S the Christian I'd like to see more of in TNA. It's cool how he constructively used the "glass ceiling" whine to approve of Brown's title shot, rather than just simply whining.
Ron Killings cracks me up. I loved how he put on the cowboy hat during the match. I'd like to see him challenge Christian after he wraps things up with Brown.
It looks like Abyss & Rhino almost botched the Black Hole Slam through the wall. Cool idea nonetheless, how the proposed "Gore" on the ramp led to a sneak attack.
Don West needs to calm down. Give him some drugs to mellow him out or something. I feel so sorry for Mike Tenay.
The Jarrett & Co. angle does nothing for me. Alex Shelley is disturbing. I hope Sting comes back quickly so this angle also ends quickly.

I thought it was good as well. The build for AMW vs. Team 3D for the NWA World Tag Team Titles is nothing short of awesome, just like they did in the old days, the way it should be done.
People please, I ask now, let's keep this thread on subject and not go through what we went through with the last impact thread. I include myself because I did contribute to that "discussion"
Hey Big Bri, what part of Ohio?

I enjoyed what I saw of Impact, can't say I saw all of it due to apoker game I was in.
Best part had to be Abyss killing Rhino with the Black Hole Slam through the entrance thing. That was cool. Not sure where they can go with it beyond some type of insane gimmick match.
Everything pales in comparison to Eric Young's awesomeness though.

Eric Young is indeed the bomb. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks so!

Hey Big Bri, what part of Ohio? Just outside of Toledo. There's many COTG players from Ohio. As for the NWA argument, every single one of you was WAY off. If I may educate... Eazy-E was the greatest NWA champion ever. He was only recognized in Compton, but his untimely passing and then the whole East Coast / West Coast thing really screwed it all up. P-Diddy claims that Notorious B.I.G. is the rightful champion in every single interview he does, while rumor has it that Suge Knight either lost it in prison during a game of spades gone awry, or traded it for 3 cigarettes and a transvestite due to loneliness. The latest news is that Fred Durst, Justin Timberlake, and John Cena have all laid claim to it, but the NWA Board Of Directors (of which Snoop Dogg has become an honorary member) has ruled these assertions null and void, as none of them are truly "ghetto" and only pretend to be for profit. This has led most fans and industry insiders to recognize the only man left on the entire planet with any true "gangsta" in him as the NWA Heavyweight Champion: Macho Man Randy Savage, as the 27 copies sold of his debut rap album qualified him to carry the strap. Join us next week, where Nelly claims Savage is a fake by saying to him, "Let Me See Your Grillz" and NWA Hall Of Famer Ice Cube appears in Savage's corner to tell him to "Put His A$$ into It". This time, it's personal...

The Jarrett & Co. angle does nothing for me. Alex Shelley is disturbing. I hope Sting comes back quickly so this angle also ends quickly. It may not do anything but at least he's finally involved in a feud without the NWA Title. I hope they continue with Jarrett vs Sting for a while so that Christian can keep the strap.

The storylines headed into this PPV are pretty solid. I'm still not a big fan of TNA using Impact as a showcase for squash matches, but the show was fairly entertaining.
And if the X Division really is supposed to be about 'no limits' then I'm kind of hoping that whoever comes out of the Abyss/Rhino feud goes on to face Samoa Joe.

Just adding to the "Where in Ohio are you" discussion, let me add Akron to the list.
Unfortunately, I only caught the very end of Impact this week. I am enjoying the Abyss/Rhino feud. The two big guys are really going at each other. It has been fun to watch

Christian is the best stick man in the biz right now. That was the first time I laughed at a bit in wrestling for a loooong time.
