Jeff Jarret is the most overrated wrestler of all time! He didn't deserve any kind of belt in the WCW and WWE. He doesn't deserve to have the NWA Heavyweight Championship. I hate him deeply, and not in a good HHH way, but in a bad way.

Nah...he's not even the most overrated wrestler in TNA. That would be Chris "Spotfest" Daniels.
I think some people forget what overrated actually means.

I'm right there with Tommy...JJ is clearly not "over-rated"... he is alot of things...but over-rated isn't one of them. Monty Brown is over-rated. Christian is over-rated.

You can't be overrated when everyone trashes you constantly. If anything Jarrett's an underrated guy at this point due to all the hate he gets.

I agree with everything you have to say except Christian Cage. Christian is the only reason I tune into impact ( well I don't actually tune in... I have it tivo'd) I only watch impact to hear Christian rip on Monty Brown (who is over-rated) and Jeff Jarrett (who is clearly not over-rated) Brown has the potential, but his "pounce" finisher is really lame. When he shouts "paaaaaaounce" I get sick! Period. Jeff Jarrett, say what you want about him, but he gets a very good crowd reaction when he cuts a promo. (even if the chants are " booooring, booooring")

Monty is entertaining but should never touch a mic even if it is to say POUNCE. I like his finisher. Christian is a very good wrestler and is great on the mic, especially against Monty but I just can't see him as a World Title contender. Not yet at least. At least Sting and Jarrett have held multiple world titles before.

I think at one time Jeff Jarrett was overrated, (the WWE and WCW), now they just don't know who to go with so they strap the title on him, not because he's good. He's the only reason I don't like TNA. I think Christian is overrated as well, but I'd much rather they put the belt around his waist at Final Resolution because at least he is entertaining.

Yeah, gotta say Christian is more overrated than JJ. Actually, Jarrett isn't bad as the heel champ, they just don't have a great face to be chasing him.
I don't see how people don't feel JJ is worthy of ever having any title. What constitues worthy?
He's good on the mic, solid ring skills, and can have a good match with just about anyone. That seems pretty much like all qualities of a worthy champion.
He's not my favorite guy ever but he does a good job as champ.

And sadly, this is loads better than in TNA's early years when he was booking himself as a face...he would routinely clear the ring of five or more guys by himself.
So in that regard, Jarrett's booking has improved by leaps and bounds, at least.

I have thought this for quite some time. Granted Jarrett always seems to be holding the title and that is very annoying (just like it was with HHH and JBL) but the guy does deserve it. Plus Jarrett has gone to multiple countries to defend that title to continue to make it appear at least that it is indeed a World title. WWE doesn't even really do that. Unless you consider them going to Japan and defending against the same guys they would defend against in America.

I think the bookers need to remarket Jarrett. They need to make the public hate his character so that they want to see him get beat instead of hating seeing him every time he gets in the ring or on the mic. Honestly I think the guitar is part of how to do that. I can't remember the ppv off hand but...Monty Brown, DDP and Kevin Nash had a 3 way for a shot at the title later in the show. I was convinced that DDP would win or maybe Nash. To my amazement Monty Brown pulled off a victory. It was a pretty good match too. Then in the main event Jarrett faced Monty Brown for the title. Again a good match going back and forth but looking like Monty could actually win that thing. Then Jarrett used the guitar and the stroke for the win. You couldn't help but hate Jarrett. It was the kind of hate they wanted. Right now we have boring chants and it is kind of deserved. Jarrett hasn't really done anything that makes us really hate him like we should. Maybe the Jackie angle will come out to prove that somehow there was some weird thing with the Canada thing. Who knows.

Who knows. I agree, this Canada angle is taking too long to develop. It could be a compelling angle, but it's not being done properly. Jackie needs more face time. Sooooooo hot!

Yes one can only hope she has improved on her wrestling ability. As far as Jarrett goes he is King Of the Mountain and The Chosen One for a reason. God Bless him!
