The big part about being a wrestling fan, is that I can suspend my beliefs for an hour or 2 and that's fine with me. I understand all points of arguments here, and agree with them. But for the sake of wrestling, and to keep being a fan, I stay away from internet sites that give spoilers and dirt, and just watch the show as a fan. It makes it that much more enjoyable.
Sure TNA isn't doing what I want it to do. I don't want it to outdo WWE, but I'd like to see it rise up and be a contender and give me something to be happy about again, ala the Monday Night Wars with out the Monday Night.
They can't keep hyping Sting without Sting. He can't keep not being there and just showing some pictures of a scorpion and have them hope we'll get excited. Some of the ex-WWE stars are ok, but should be equal to the TNA roster, not put on a pedistal for it. Most of the TNA guys were there first, they should have "seniority" and get their time.
Enough with the jobber matches too. This isn't the old NWA. Raw has good matches, so TNA should put standout guys in there against other standouts and boost their product. Having someone pound on Kenny Whatshisname in a minute and a half isn't gonna be good, have it be a good match with 2 known guys. It can be a midcarder yes, but don't make the thing a squash. In a nutshell, I keep watching every week, but would really like to see the TNA product explode and become a contender rather than a pretender. I saw what they did on their weekly PPV's before real tv, and loved it. That's what they need to do, use what got them to the dance on SpikeTV, not what got WWE dropped from it.
