I know this might be simple, but I like the fact that we the TNA fans can vote for the Year End Awards after Turning Point.

I agree. I wonder if it'll be rigged like WWE's though.

Seriously? Like, whoa!
Of course right now we're talking about rewards, fan voting, and things of that nature.

I have to disagree with the "wrestling's fake" comment some like to throw around. Predetermined....yes but lets give these entertainers some respect. Wrestling has become even more of a stage show. However the moves and what they put themselves through in the ring is real so people who toss around the "fake" really need to pick something else. That is the word I would expect someone who doesn't watch wrestling to use.
As far as the awards shows go, I doubt that the fans really have much say. I think is the beginnings they start out well intentioned but (especially with the WWE) they don't like it when the fans choose what they want. Vinny Mac likes to control and sway the crowd as he does his wrestlers. Vinny Mac must always be the man behind the curtain pulling the levers and such. So I am sure if the fans want something that totally changes the voting then I am sure it gets tweaked by idle hands and then covered up by saying this is what you the fans wanted. Yeah right I am sooo sure everyone voted for Shawn Michaels! But I digress.......

I don't think WWE voting is rigged, just heavily manipulated. People did vote for HBK... because he was being so heavily pushed as the person who should be in the match. Big Show and Kane hadn't been the title hunt at all recently and were being paired as a tag team the week before, while HBK already had a feud with Angle and was facing Cena. The causual fan is just going to go along with what the are being told should happen and vote that way.
Same thing with the Flair-HHH match, we were begged to make it a cage match. And given the other choices, most people are going for a cage.
The same will apply to TNA, though I don't think to such a drastic level. AJ should be Mr. TNA because he's booked to be their man guy.
