All Spike was expecting of them was to do better than the WWE show that was on in that time slot and I think that does it. Of course it is only the first week so they will have to continue to keep their fans happy and wanting more. I think I had heard that the Velocity was averaging about a .5 rating and Spike wanted better than that from TNA in the long run.

I sure hope it goes up some. If I recall that's lower than ECW's show was when it was on TNN.

ECW was, despite their crappy time slot, still in a better one than TNA. Primetime Friday sounds like prime real estate when you're on graveyard Saturday.

I think TNA will continue to improve each show, and we will have something other then the WWE to watch and talk about.

I am sure that if TNAs ratings are consistently above what Velocity was getting it might get moved to a better time slot. One good thing though, Spike is at least promoting TNA unlike what TNN did with ECW.
