I went to the walmart by my job looking for the new tna and hardcore homecoming dvds but to my dismay they will not be released until next week. I had a little time to kill so I checked out the toy section looking for the classic Vader which I dont think is in stores yet either. As I was about to leave I seen a TNA Raven figure which I thought was cool so I was sold.I then seen Jarrett who came with the NWA title so I bought him just so I could strap the title around Raven's waist. They were only 6 bucks so I was like to hell with it might as well pick up Abyss and A.J. as well. Got them set up at my computer and think they are all pretty sweet. I've always loved collecting figs but didnt have any wrestling figs besides HHH and Flair. Kinda funny that I got more TNA guys in one foul swoop. Any of you fellow promoters collect action figures as well? If so what are your favorites?

I am a huge action figure collector. I have been waiting for the TNA figures to hit store shelves by me. I will have to start checking my Wal Mart as often as possible. I probably have a couple hundred action figures all together. Needless to say my girl friend is not too crazy about the whole thing.

I used to collect figures, but don't really have the extra dough for it.
I like how the TNA figures look, but hate action features. Still, Daniels looks pretty cool.

My girlfriend will help me find them and buy them for me even but she tells me that when we get married I will have my own room for them and they will not leave that room. I am fine with that. She actually bought me the Ultimate Warrior figure from the classics line. She always asks which one is my favorite and that one has to be the answer... or else. I too am not fond of action features but if they are done well sometimes they are fun. Lets just hope they don't try to make another figure flip like the old Kidman figure or the Matt Hardy figure. It just never works.

I saw the TNA figures and thought that they looked really nice!!!!!!
I just decided to get into collecting wrestling action figures. I do not pan to go crazy, just collecting a few of my favorites and the current WWE Champions. I thought it would be fun to have the current Champions on display. What I did not realize when i decided to start collect them is just how HARD they are to find. I was talking to a salesperson at my local toy store, and she said that if you are not there when the truck comes, you will not be able to get the popular figures (Cena, many of the legends). Wrestling figures are one of their hottest sellers next to Star Wars. I had no idea!!!!!!
For those of you who collect wrestling figures, have you run into the same problem of them being hard to find? And where do you find your figures?
As for my favorite figures, they would have to be my original Hulk Hogan figure from the 80's and my autographed Hilbily Jim figure that I got at this year's "Road to Wrestlemania" mall tour.

Funny thats the same thing mine says too! Also I too found it hard to find any of the WWE figures. Thats why all I have is Flair and HHH. Funny how I cant find wrestling fans outside of message boards but somebodys buying this stuff.I just keep checking stores for some stuff but any figure thats good sells out quick. I had the same problem with the Marvel Legends and He-Man releases.

I can usually find the ones I want at Target. Wal Mart rarely has more than a case or 2 and they seem to get picked over pretty quickly. Toys R Us is the other place that I look once in a while but they tend to be more expensive so I go there last. I guess I don't understand why stores don't order more since I always hear about people having a hard time finding certain figures. It seems like common sense to me.

They don't order more because besides the few popular figures, the rest of the line are pegwarmers and toy companies(Jakks especially) are morons when it comes to making plausible case breakdowns.

I have noticed that in the classics series the rarer figures are often times what seem to be the more popular ones.

When I was talking to the salesperson at the toy store I go to, she said that everyone (including me in my attempt to collect the current Champions) is looking for John Cena. Now I just found the new series with Carlito (Now that's a COOL figure ). If Cena is so popular, why isn't he in this new series? Instead they made Jonathan Coachman and Charlie Haas. I am sure that those two figures will be sitting on the shelf. Why do they even mess around with figures like Haas and Coachman. No offesne to Coacman and Haas, but I don't see a lot of kids (who these toys are mostly marketed to) getting excited about playing with these characters. It doesn't make sense to me!!!

I just scored a Christopher Daniels fig at the walmart by my job. It looks like they had the whole new set but I didnt want to look because I only wanted to spend a couple of bucks. If I get any more figs im gonna have to buy the dam 6 sided ring.

FYI, TNAwrestling.com sells 4-packs of each series, if you want the figures but don't want to hunt them.

They cost a bit more if you buy from tnawrestling.com though plus you have shipping. Just so you all know.

I figured they probably did, but since I've never seen any of the TNA figures around here, that would have been conjecture on my part.
Still, if you're having no luck finding them, not a bad way to go.

I just found them at the local Toys R Us. They were 7.99 each and I picked up the whole first series. I also found the 2 pack of Konnan and BG James and got that too. That was all they had left of the 2 packs. The figures are very good. Being that they are made by Toy Biz, they are alot like the old WCW figures. One nice difference between these and the WWE figures is that each figure has its own parts. There is not 4 main body molds or whatever. Each figure is individual. That does slow down the releases though. There is good and bad. Toys R Us had the 6 sided ring too but it was 50 bucks and I was already spending enough so I did not pick it up. The NWA Title that comes with Jarrett is amazingly detailed. I hope we see more figures from TNA very soon. There are alot that need to be made. Samoa Joe, Sabin, Team 3D, The Naturals, Monty Brown, Petey Williams, and I would really like an up to date Raven. They are way cool. Like Tommy said if you can't find them then it is worth it to go through TNA or some other online site. These may be hard to come by until TNA gets a little more exposure.
