Read somewhere that the Dudley's are making a new gimmick and keeping it secret and may show up in TNA in Oct. Wouldn't it just be nice to give them the mic and just let them shoot on McMahon. Wanna talk about a buzz for TNA

A Dudley shoot would be great. It is a shame they got let go, the WWE tag divisions are gawd awful. The Dudleys made the division credible.
I would love to hear the Dudleys side of the story.

Wanna talk about a buzz for TNA Something tells me that they are going to change their names to Vince and Shane. What their tag-team name is, I have no idea; maybe the McMahonz! Okay it might sound silly, but what a way to stick it to Vince!

And becasue they aren't revealing it till the get it trademarked (good show guys!), if they did do that then they should give Vinnie Mac a C&D order to stop using that name! GOD HOW I HATE YOU VINCE MACMAHON!

Looks as though the Dudleys maybe going to debut on TNA's Oct 1st show and are going by the name Team 3-D so one can wonder what name(s) they will come out with? That would be funny if they just spelled their names differently! ;D

Actually, due to the wording on the c&d they can't even use something CLOSE to the Dudley's names. The exception is D-Von, who could use Devon as that is is his real name. I'm surprised they can still use the 3D thing. And if they get new gimmicks, it wouldn't be the 3D anymore anyway.

Why don't they just retire? Hang it up and start a family? They are has-beens. They must have some money saved? Go start a family and quit yer whining. Your time has come and gone.

I wonder stuff like that, too.
Since they basically said they didn't negotiate with the WWE because the only thing they stood to gain from the deal was money, I assumed they were living all right. Isn't Bubba a college graduate? I'm sure they could do other things, and with all their bodies have been through, one would think they would want to.

Hey, if they feel like they can still go, let them. Why doesn't Flair retire? Or Hogan? Or Shawn Michaels? Or Tripple H? Doesn't matter, they still want to wrestle, so let them. It gets in your blood man, and you can't get rid of it. If it makes them happier to be on the road, then I say good for them, keep going! You're not a hasbeen until you give up (or you're a fifty some-odd year old man dropping knees on apples and screaming WHOO! all the time, JK).

I agree with you Swarm. Unreal. lol. I think their time has come and gone. Sometimes pro wrestlers should see the writing on the wall and move on in life. There are too many tragedies involving pro wrestlers today because they simply can't find things to do later on in life.
Regarding the Dudley's, how many tag team titles did they win? My gawd, it was a lot. And to think..if they were a tag team in the late 1980s, they might never have won a thing.

Regarding the Dudley's, how many tag team titles did they win? My gawd, it was a lot. I believe it was 17 from ECW, WCW, and WWE combined. They won the WCW Titles during the InVasion angle. They really have nothing left to prove, but like someone else mentioned, it's probably hard for them to walk away. Plus, they probably want to leave on a high note, rather than slip away into oblivion after a contract dispute. The best way for them to end their careers would be to have a great run in TNA, then put one of TNA's top teams over in their last match (AMW preferably), then have them give one of their classic ECW promos in their farewell speech. That would be pretty cool.
