From another post, does Spike have a deal to televise TNA events? If so when will this take place?

Presumably after Raw goes back to U.S.A.
Spike's getting a late night Saturday TV slot that they're having to pay for, akin to their previous deal with Fox Sports, just with, hopefully for them, higher viewership.

Tommy, thanks for the info. I'm wondering if they do have higher ratings that maybe we'll see a two hour show.

As I hear it TNA should be on TNN around October on Saturday Nights
I just hope TNN doesn't do what they did with ECW and thats not promote them which gave them bad ratings and such

I read somewhere that this is something where all the money comes from advertising. That means that Spike will really want to promote TNA to get their full moneys worth.

Yes, but let us not forget, at the time it was all reruns of Dukes of Hazard and movies, not hard to top those shows. Of course now it's all reruns of Star Trek (since when did that become "manly?" I always thought that Trek watchers were the nerds that manly wrestling fans picked on?) and Macguyver-or however you spell it.

They'll probably promote it, especially with their ultimate fighting show. Probably do some crossover promotions.

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter
-- TNA management and Spike TV will be meeting throughout the next few weeks to discuss plans for their October debut on the network. Since it is Spike TV, and not TNA, who is selling advertising space on the show, they have even more of a financial interest in the show doing well. Right now it looks like Spike will be working hard to promote TNA strongly. It seems that TNAs deal is better than some had reported.

After seeing the commercial's for October's debut of TNA, I'm excited to see what SPIKE TV has plan for TNA. If the TNA and SPIKE work together and start a good foundation for months to years ahead we could have a challenger to the WWE, even if it is a light weight. When I did see some shows of TNA, I liked it... it was different and not the same old same old.
