WINNER: Monty Brown
Terry Taylor interviews Michael Shane and Traci. They brag about outsmarting Chris Sabin and Trinity at Hard Justice. They mention that Shane's after the X Division Title now. Terrible segment as Shane has all the charisma of AIDS.
Commercial Break
Mike Teney introduces AJ Styles for an interview. For some reason they're acting like this is Styles first run with the belt. Jeff Jarrett comes out. He wants a rematch at the next PPV. I really hope Jarrett is done as a main eventer after this program. Hopefully the Carters have won the power struggle. Monty Brown attacks Styles and it's beatdown time. Abyss comes out and adds a Blackhole Slam because it just wouldn't be Impact! without one. Good segment and it sets up Styles nicely as the underdog for the PPV.
Commercial Break
Dusty Rhodes sets up a King of the Mountain match for the PPV. It'll be AJ Styles vs. Jeff Jarrett vs. Abyss vs. Monty Brown vs. a wildcard. I like the idea if it leads to Styles retaining at the PPV.
Larry Zbyszko joins the announce table but Raven comes out. He demands to be the wild card at the PPV. This is quite the tirade by Raven. Larry attacks and a short brawl follows until Larry gets the Raven Effect DDT. Raven rants further and gives Larry a second Raven Effect. Security comes out and Raven gives them a beating as well. Dusty Rhodes comes out to suspend Raven but he quits instead. Wow, that segment was awesome. Probably a top ten moment for TNA.
Commercial Break
BG James and Ron Killings argue backstage.
Cassidy Riley (1-5) vs. Christopher Daniels (6-1)
Michael Shane and Traci confront Daniels about a title shot before the match. Daniels tells them to buzz off before getting into the ring. Lockup and Daniels hits a knee. They exchange blows until Daniels gets a face rake. Daniels sends Riley into the corner and hits a jumping knee. Daniels hits a bodyslam followed by an elbow drop and a knee. Riley hits a springboard moonsault and covers for two. Riley hits a fisherman's suplex but then moonsaults right into knees for Daniels. Daniels pulls Riley face first into a pair of knees. Angel's Wings finish it at 3:18. Decent enough for a squash match. *1/2
WINNER: Christopher Daniels
Michael Shane attacks after the match. Chris Sabin joins the fun and a three way brawl erupts. Security breaks it up.
Commercial Break
AJ Styles storms into the Dusty Rhodes' office. I for one miss him using a truck for his office. Next week it's Jeff Jarrett and Monty Brown vs. AJ Styles and a partner of his choice. During the main event Teney announces Sean Waltman will be his partner.
Petey Williams (2-4) and Eric Young (2-3) vs. America's Most Wanted (4-3)

Back and forth until Storm hits an atomic drop followed by a clothesline. Storm escapes a waistlock with eblows and hits a german suplex. Williams pushes Storm into the turnbuckle and tags Young in. They fail a double team and Harris comes in. Williams gets tossed into Young.
Commercial Break
We're back as Williams hits a russian leg sweep on Harris. Young tags in and hits a knee. Harris ducks a clothesline but gets caught with an elbow. Young covers for two. Williams tags in and punches Harris in the corner. Young tags in and stomps Harris. Harris fights back and hits Young with an atomic drop. Williams tags in and knocks Storm off the apron. Harris hits a slam and it's hot tag time. Young gets a powerslam and Williams gets the Eye of the Storm. Storm covers but Young makes the save. Harris gets tripped on a Hart Attack attempt and Williams applies the Sharpshooter to Storm. Young hits a flying elbow drop and Williams covers for two. Williams goes for the Canadian Destroyer but Harris escapes with a spinebuster. Young gets a super kick from Storm. They go for a double team but Harris attacks A-1 and Williams rolls up Storm for the win at 8:08. It's odd to see America's Most Wanted getting jobbed out like this. Even if it is to break the team up. I guess it is a good idea to put everyone over on the way out of the division. **
WINNERS: Team Canada
Jeff Jarrett and Monty Brown join the announce table.
Abyss (3-3) vs. Chris Sabin (3-5)
Sabin ducks a clothesline and hits a few forearms. Abyss tosses him away but Sabin comes back with more forearms and a shoulderblock. Back and forth until Abyss tosses Sabin after a blocked armdrag. Abyss misses a legdrop and Sabin hits several kicks. Sabin covers for one. Sabin hits a few punches but runs into a press slam from Abyss. Abyss hits an avalanche but charges into a kick on a second try. Sabin climbs to the top but Abyss trips him up. Abyss goes for a chokeslam but Sabin knocks him off the apron. Sabin hits a flying leg scissors for the top rope to the floor. Abyss catches Sabin on a rana attempt and slams him into the steps. Back into the ring as Abyss covers for two. Abyss chokes Sabin and then abuses him with chops and punches. Sabin fights out of a facelock but charges into a big boot. Abyss grabs a chair and sets it up in the corner. Sabin hits two enziguri kicks. Sabin hits an atomic drop, jawbreaker, super kick and a tornado DDT. Sabin covers for two. Sabin charges into a kick and then escapes a powerbomb. Sabin lands on his feet after a monkey flip but gets caught with a chokeslam. Abyss covers for two. Abyss tries to use the chair but gets a shoulder in the gut. Sabin missile dropkicks the chair into Abyss and goes for the Cradle Shock. Traci distracts the ref and Michael Shane hits Sabin with the super kick. Torture rack backbreaker finishes at 7:40. Enjoyable big man vs. small man match. **1/2
WINNER: Abyss
Jeff Jarrett and Monty Brown come out to celebrate with Abyss. Jarrett shakes the hand of Abyss and gets a Blackhole Slam for his troubles. Excellent.
Overall:
Great show this week with several very memorable segments. Raven's tirade made the show and the rest of the stuff was pretty good. I like the fact that Abyss is a complete loose cannon and basically just beating up everyone that gets in his way. If Styles hadn't just won the belt I would be all for Abyss getting a run with the belt this summer. Looks like the new booking committee is going to be a good thing for TNA.
