According to those within NWA TNA, it appears as if the company has either struck a television deal with Fox Sport Network or that they are extremely close to getting one. Most sources in the locker room are saying that the first show will air in June. To give an example of how confident the people in the locker room are concerning the deal they are now saying, “Once we get on Fox Sports Net,” when holding discussions concerning the future of the company.
Once the company does officially come to terms with Fox Sports, it is expected that they will scrap their Wednesday night pay per view concept. The schedule would include TNA taping the shows to air on Fox Sport Network on Thursday in Orlando, FL and having a traditional pay per view once a month on Sunday nights.

as happy as I was to hear about the TV deal and that I won't have to pay $10 a week to see TNA, leaving the core audience in Nashville behind may hurt them. Imagine if ECW deceided to relocate from Philly to Cleveland? Plus how can you build a core audience in Orlando? it's all a bunch of Disney tourists who will only be there for a week. I really hope everything works out for them but sadly I have my doubts.

I haven't watched NWA/TNA for awhile, but this should be good, especially for a network like Fox. We could possibly be seeing another promotional war perhaps between the WWE (?) and plus any matches from the X division would surely pull in some good ratings.

You mean I'll finally get the opportunity to watch it. That's cool! I don't know if I agree with moving to Orlando, but hopefully they can still find success.

I watch NWA-TNA on a pretty regular basis. My Dad is a sports fanatic, as am I, and we both include wrestling in our athletic viewing habits. That being said, I think people are jumping the gun a little bit on thinking that TNA can compete with WWE. To be perfectly honest, during the course of each two-hour broadcast, there are quite a few segments where one has to think, "Man, this is boring" or "Damn, this is dumb".
The X Division matches are for the most part pretty good, and Christopher Daniels, Low-Ki, AJ Styles, and Kid Kash are almost always entertaining. At the same time, though, just about any on-air scenario Jeff Jarrett is involved in pretty bad. I could be wrong, but since a person shells out $9.95 every time they want to watch the show, shouldn't that person be entitled to see the Heavyweight Champion defend his title every so often?
Overall, NWA-TNA has a pretty decent product, but it also has a lot of dead weight, and needs some help in the creative department.

I agree. Any alternative is at least an alternative. I have to say that although I pay about $8.50 a show and it does have the occasional slow spot I do like the NWA-TNA product over the WWE right now. I only half pay attention to Raw and I don't watch Smackdown right now.
