Okay, this topic has been discussed ad nauseum. But, I can't find any of the threads when I search, so humor me!
I've always just kept time of my matches using real time, always worked quite well. But, some of you folks have other creative ways of timing your matches, and for the life of me, I can't remember any of them.
So, I'm open to feedback, or if somebody finds the thread link that I can't seem to on this topic, I'll take that. Thanks folks, appreciate any and all feedback.

I generally use real time unless the match ends in 2 moves. In that case i usually round up or if a heel wins i play it like he attacks the face before the match leaving him prone as the match starts.

I use real time. If a match ends in a short amount though and I thought the match would be a little longer, I'll usually add two minutes to it.
If the time limit runs out, I'll roll 10 more moves (kinda like the last 10 seconds of the match). In my Early Classics fed, Torpor had 24 losses and 1 time limit draw. In his next match, the time limit expired again, but on the 10th and final "overtime" move, he got the pin and finally his first win. Talk about drama!

Real time.
But I take my time. I don't whip through the matches.
If there is a submission I will sip my drink...or whatever.
it has always worked for me.

Swarm-
That's pretty much how I've done it. I play my matches very slooooowly, trying to imagine every move.
As for the drink sipping, well, sounds like a good idea to me!
Thanks.

[glow=blue,2,300]I don't generally record the time a match lasts aside from battle royals/royal rumbles when I use 12 seconds as the time every move takes making it ten moves between entrants in a Royal Rumble. Usually lasts between just over an hour and an hour and a half which seems pretty accurate.[/glow]

I generally use 1 token = 2 minutes.
This will not techincally be accurate, however, and can be way off for some matches.
Nevertheless... it's simple. I can't imagine trying to count moves, and I forget to look at the clock to try to use real time.

I use a timer and I have set limits 15min for a singles or 20 min for a tag. I will also call a draw if the match is boring as hell. Like a Man Mountain vs Exo-king match. I had 2 and they both sucked 1 was a draw and the other ended close to the 15 min mark when I just couldn't take it any more.
