After some persuading from my brother and reading Tim's great results, I'm going to try doing regular updates here for my USWA fed! I'm currently in Year Three. The first three years I pretty much followed the order of the Legends sets releases (First Set, Rematch , Hardcore , etc.), but have started to mix-up the order and use guys whenever they fit in. This is based off the various forms of the Lawler/Jarrett et al Memphis territory. In Year Two I started doing shows in Texas, to represent the couple year period when Lawler/Jarrett bought out the old World Class. I currently do three shows per month, with an occassional international tour or "special card." The only annual supercard I do is the year-end event "New Year's Knockout." I have a World, Tag Team, and Southern titles, which are typically defended once a month. I also started a Texas title for those shows, which is a belt designed more for lower-level guys and/or tag guys who might want to wrestle singles now and then. Here's my current roster line-up: Fan Favorites *The Road Warriors, managed by Paul Ellering--the current and two-time World Tag Team champs returned at the beginning of this year after being injured by the Midnight Express and have been dominate. They won the belts from Eaton and Lane and put Lane out with a neck injury. *Giant Baba, Antonio Inoki, and The Destroyer--Inoki was brought in a few months ago as a partner for Baba while Destroyer was recovering from injuries suffered by Bob Orton, Jr. Inoki made a big debut pinning World champ Bockwinkel in a tag match. He received a title shot in his first match, but lost a close one. This trio is feuding with the Heenan Family (see below). *Red Bastien and Bobo Brazil--former tag champs, they are currently feuding with The Sheik and Sabu in some wild matches. *Jimmy Snuka and Buddy Rogers--former enemies teamed up this year to battle common enemies in the Valiant Brothers. They ran the Valiants out of the USWA after defeating them at the 100th card. They are now feuding with Gorgeous George and Chris Candido. *Frank Gotch and Dick Hutton--Gotch just captured his first USWA title, the Southern championship defeating rival Ted DiBiase (Million Dollar Man version) Hutton was a former partner or DiBiase's, but joined up with Gotch after being disrespected by DiBiase. He has had some problems lately in singles and may start wrestling more tags with Gotch, when Gotch isn't defending the Southern gold. *Harley Race--former Heenan Family member is gunning for Bockwinkel after playing "second fiddle" to Bock for the past two-and-a-half years *Bruiser Brody--popular "rebel" has done well in his first year and is hoping for a title shot as well soon *The Sandman--currently in the middle of 90 days without his Singapore Cane after losing a stipulation match to Justin Credible. He has only won two singles matches this year and by DQ. *Jim Duggan--not really involved in any feud at the moment *Koko B. Ware and S.D. Jones--occassionally team up as a lower card team. Koko holds some big upsets throughout his USWA tenure, most recently this year beating Brody in his second match. Rulebreakers *Heenan Family: World champion Nick Bockwinkel, undefeated newcomer Masked Superstar, and the Ortons (Bob Sr. also just debuted). *Bobby Eaton and Justin Credible, managed by Jim Cornette. Credible just won the Texas title from Nikolai Volkoff (who left the fed after his loss). Eaton is wrestling singles while Cornette is searching for a replacement partner for the injured Stan Lane (any guesses?) *The Vachons, managed by Capt. Lou. They haven't wrestled yet, but will debut on the next card. Albano's former stable of Killer Kowalski and the Valiants all departed the USWA in the last few months. The split with Kowalski was amicable, but the Valiants left on bitter terms. Lou claims the Vachons will do what the Valiants never did--win the USWA Tag Team titles *Sheik and Sabu--managed by Abdullah Farouk. While Sheik hasn't wrestled as long for me as for Tim, he is currently undefeated at 7-0. *Ted DiBiase and George Hackenschmidt, with bodyguard Virgil--after DiBiase and Hutton split, DiBiase used his money to hire Gotch's "nightmare." Hack has been on a big roll, currently at 12-1, only losing to World champ Bock. He's beaten Gotch twice, but was injured afterward. Gotch won the Southern belt on the next card and you can bet a rematch will be in the works when Hack comes back! *Gorgeous George (w/ Cherie) and Chris Candido (w/ Tammy)--after George split with former teammates Buddy Rogers and Buddy Rose, he allied himself with Candido. When they team, George seems to let Candido wrestle a long time before finally tagging in (if at all!) These two recently cost their enemies Snuka and Rogers the tag titles in an exciting match. Rogers had Animal beat with the figure-four, but Candido jumped in. George sprayed Rogers with his atomizer and Rogers was counted out! *The Dream Team--not really feuding with anyone at the moment, but are trying to get into the tag title picture. They had a good series of matches recently with George and Candido. *Danny Doring and Cousin Luke--Doring is trying to "civilize" the hillbilly Luke. Much like George with Candido, Doring often lets Luke wrestle a lot of the match or signs him to singles matches with tough opponents. Each of these two hold singles victories over the Sandman, but are mainly a low/mid-card team. I'll post my title histories and start doing card results with this month (October) which I plan to play this weekend.

I'm sure it will be good Cory. I have a fed called the USWA as well. I named my promotions from past companies as an homage to the past. Also have the ICW, International Championship Wrestling. I don't try to run them in the same style as their namesake though. I'm also in year three, it's January and I have the Royal Rumble card ready just need to play it out.
I also have world champion Nick Bockwinkel. I too want to pit Race against Bockwinkel. It was Race that was three-time world champ while Bockwinkel ran interference for him and then had a lengthy U.S. title run before vacating it after winning the world title. That should be good, Race vs. Bockwinkel, whether for the title or not.

Almost a 3 month reign thus far. My longest reigning champion though was the Million Dollar Man in my fed's 1st year... that reign lasted nearly a year (real time)

Ty, I thought about doing an ICW fed as well! I thought about having that as the "competitor" (since that how they were in real-life) with Legends bootlegs. My USWA isn't quite as crazy as the real-life Memphis territory was. I don't have many special matches, I try to make them mean something.
Bock and Race have wrestled twice, when they were still teammates, with Race having earned the shot. Both times Race was DQ'd and I said that the Heenan Family pulled different "screwjobs" on him to get him DQ'd. They'll meet in a No-DQ Match on the next card.

Ace, yeah Bock's been a BEAST with the belt. In the first year he just seemed to squash everyone. Now most matches start off with the challenger getting a couple of nearfalls but Bock eventually coming back to win. I thought Hackenschmidt might finally take him down, but Bock prevailed again!

Bockwinkel took a long time to get going for me. But now he is on a long run of having gold.
He had the U.S. belt for nine months until he got a world title match at Summerslam with the Destroyer and won it. So he vacated the U.S. strap and has been world champion for five months now. I have him in the Rumble match like the early matches were before the crap about getting a title shot at Mania so you knew there were only maybe four guys that could win it. Before he got on a roll and won the U.S. title it was Race with the world strap and they have been with Heenan most of that time.

I use the star rating system for my matches and will include those with all results.
Card #107: Civic Coliseum in Knoxville
1) The Vachons won their USWA debut defeating Koko B. Ware and S.D. Jones. The brothers from Algeria brutalized the popular duo of the "Birdman" and Special Delivery. They scored the victory when Mad Dog pinned Jones after a piledriver. It looks like Capt. Lou Albano has scored a tough tag team. *1/2
2) Masked Superstar kept up his winning ways pinning Cousin Luke after a spinning neckbreaker. 1/2*
3) Antonio Inoki pinned Luke's partner Danny Doring after a flying body press off the top rope. Doring actually scored some nearfalls on Inoki, but the Japanese superstar managed to score the three. **1/2
4) Red Bastien and Bobo Brazil defeated The Dream Team in an exciting tag team match. This one was back-and-forth action. Bobo scored the pin on Greg Valentine after a body slam. ***3/4
5) The Sheik made short work of "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, scoring a submission with his camel clutch. The Sheik will receive his first title shot at the end of this month, when he will be the first challenger for new Southern champion Frank Gotch. It was revealed on WMC-TV that Duggan will be leaving the USWA to compete in the UWF promotion in the Oklahoma/Louisiana area. "Hacksaw" plans to return to the USWA sometime in the future. 1/2*
6) Ted DiBiase rebounded from his loss of the Southern title to score a big win over Bruiser Brody. "The Million Dollar Man" was able to kick out of three of Brody's jumping knee drops. He came back and put Brody out with the Million Dollar Dream. ***
7) New Texas champ Justin Credible defeated his rival The Sandman (obviously this was a non-title match, since they weren't in Texas!) Sandman is still without his Singapore Cane for the rest of this month. Credible didn't need his cane here as he pinned Sandman cleanly with a short power bomb (which has become more of a finisher for him than the cane or That's Incredible--he has won his last three matches with it). **
8) Giant Baba and The Destroyer defeated The Ortons. Both Bob Sr. and Jr. were busted open in this match. They worked well against Baba and Destroyer, but couldn't keep the former tag champs down long enough for a pinfall. The "Cowboy" came off the top rope with an attempted sledgehammer on Baba, but the Japanese giant blocked him with a big boot to the face. He covered Orton, Jr. and scored the three-count. ***1/4
9) "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka gained a measure of revenge for his tag team partner Buddy Rogers making short work of Gorgeous George with a perfect Superfly Leap. Afterwards Chris Candido ran down to try and attack Snuka, but the "Superfly" saw him coming and nailed him with a big flying head butt. DUD
10) The main event was a big rematch--a No-Disqualification Match for the USWA World Heavyweight championship pitting champion Nick Bockwinkel against Harley Race. This match was less of a brawl, but more of an aggressive wrestling match between the hated enemies. They seemed to know each other well and always had a counter for one another's move. Race had a lot of offense, but couldn't keep the champ down long enough to attempt many covers. Bockwinkel rammed Race into the ringpost and applied his sleeper, but Race made the ropes. Bockwinkel then pulled Race into the center of the ring and applied his figure-four leglock. Race, who was busted open from being rammed into the post, fought for nearly two minutes, but eventually had to tap out, leaving Bockwinkel once again the victor and champ. ***
Card #108 will come from Evansville, IN and the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Here is what the fans will see! *Two tag teams will go at it, but in seperate singles matches, as The Sheik takes on Dick Hutton and Sheik's nephew Sabu battles Southern champ Frank Gotch in a non-title match. Sheik will challenge Gotch, no matter what happens in the Hutton match, on Card #109. Will these match affect both champion and challenger? And what part will Abdullah Farouk play in his men's matches? *Bruiser Brody will lock-up with old rival Gorgeous George. George is one of three men in the USWA to defeat Brody cleanly and the first to do so by submission. These two characters have had some exciting matches before and both could use a victory to move on towards a title match. Who will emerge victorious? *Speaking of important matches, Antonio Inoki will take on the undefeated Masked Superstar. Inoki wants another shot at Nick Bockwinkel, but Bobby Heenan is sending the masked man his way first. Superstar is undefeated, but Inoki will be his toughest challenge so far. *The main event will be a big rematch for the USWA World Tag Team titles. Two popular teams will do battle as the Road Warriors will defend against "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka and "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers. Rogers has recovered from the attack by Gorgeous George and is ready to gain revenge on his former teammate, but first is ready to win the belts that he and Snuka claim should be theirs. To ensure no problems, the USWA Committee has banned Gorgeous George and Chris Candido (along with Cherie Dupre and Tammy Sytch) from the building following their matches. Can Snuka and Rogers knock off the Legion of Doom? All this plus the team of Giant Baba and The Destroyer, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, the Vachons and more in action!

I was looking over the results from the card I posted and remembered something that I use in Legends that I haven't used in COTG. To make blood seem like a bigger deal in an "old school fed" I say that a wrestler starts bleeding after 5 tokens instead of 3, like the handbook suggests. Most USWA cards there are still a good number of wrestlers who bleed, but on Card #107, Harley Race was the only to get five tokens.
Another rule I used here that I don't in GWF or CPC is that in a regular match if a wrestler's PIN rating would get up to 12 without losing, I stop the match. Depending on what the last move was, I sometime say that the match was stopped due to blood loss to make the wrestler seem tough in losing. I'd have to double check my history, but I think the only match this has happened in so far was a match earlier this year between Ted DiBiase and Killer Kowalski. After the referee was hurt, DiBiase put a ton of tokens on Kowalski. His PIN rating was actually up to 13, but there was no ref to stop it. When the ref did recover, DiBiase rolled "figure four leglock-3" and Kowalski rolled hurt off ot it. I awarded the match to DiBiase saying that Kowalski wouldn't quit, but the ref stopped it because of his blood loss.
If I have time tonight I'm going to play Card #108, so I'll post those results as soon as I can. Hope everyone enjoys reading this!

Card #108 Evansville, IN--Veterans Memorial Coliseum
1) The Vachons defeated Danny Doring and Cousin Luke. The unorthodox pairing of Doring and Luke actually put up a fight against Capt. Lou's new team, but Mad Dog would score the win for him and Butcher after a piledriver on Luke. ***
2) In a strange match, "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton beat Red Bastien by DQ. Here is how the match went: the two locked up, Eaton sent Bastien into the turnbuckle. He charged in, but Red leaped up and caught Bobby in a head scissors sending him over the top rope to the floor. Bastien went out after him, but Jim Cornette and Texas champ Justin Credible tried to cut him off. Red grabbed Credible's Singapore Cane and nailed him with it, then proceeded to smash Eaton as well! Referee Todd Morton called for the bell and disqualified Red! Bastien will challenge Justin for the Texas strap on the next card in Dallas and apparently wanted to show Justin that he can brawl as well! (This match was two moves!) DUD
3) Koko B. Ware and S.D. Jones scored their first win as a team in the USWA defeating Bobby Heenan's new duo of the Ortons! This was a long back-and-forth match up, that saw Bob Jr. get busted open! "The Brain" attempted to interfere for his men, but "The Birdman" grabbed him and delivered a big noggin knocker to Heenan and Bob Jr.! He then executed a Ghostbuster on the "Cowboy" and scored the pinfall! The Evansville fans erupted at seeing Koko and Special Delivery win! ****
4) Ted DiBiase scored a rather quick win on a Chris Candido after a top rope knee drop. Tammy Sytch tried to save her man, but to no avail. 1/4*
5) The Sheik and Dick Hutton had a bloody battle, but the Syrian madman remained undefeated, when he worked over Hutton's previously injured back and scored the submission with his camel clutch. Hutton came probably closer than anyone else so far in the USWA to beating the Sheik, making him see his own blood for once. But Abdullah Farouk was able to distract referee Frank Morrell on several occassions, allowing Sheik to make use of his famous sharp object and eventually gain another victory. ***1/4
6) Giant Baba and The Intelligent, Sensational Destroyer defeated The Dream Team when the masked man made Greg Valentine submit to his version of the figure-four leglock. ***1/2
7) Bruiser Brody got a much needed win over old rival Gorgeous George after a jumping knee drop. ***
8) Antonio Inoki became the first wrestler in the USWA to defeat the Masked Superstar, making him submit to his octopus hold. Inoki caused Bobby Heenan's charge to bleed through his starred mask. He locked on the octopus and Superstar struggled for the ropes for over a minute, but eventually the blood blinding his eyes through the mask forced him to conceed. It wasn't a good night for the Heenan Family in Evansville! **1/2
9) Frank Gotch defeated Sabu by countout. The Southern champ started strong against the Bombay madman, but after a brawl on the floor and distraction from Abdullah Farouk, Sabu took over. He executed his triple jump moonsault, but rather than go for the cover, he went after Gotch's partner Dick Hutton, who had come down to ringside bandaged up from his war with the Sheik. Gotch recovered and went out after Sabu. Sabu went for a punch, but Gotch ducked it and was able to slam Sabu on the arena floor with an Iowa backdrop! He rolled back into the ring, but Sabu was unable to and was counted out. **1/2
10) The main event was a big rematch for the World Tag Team titles, pitting champions the Road Warriors against Jimmy Snuka and Buddy Rogers. Gorgeous George and Chris Candido (along with Cherie Dupre and Tammy Sytch) were all banned from the building following their matches, due to their involvement in the previous meeting between these teams. Perhaps Rogers' eye wasn't fully healed from George's attack with the atomizer, because the "Superfly" worked the whole match. The Legion of Doom kept the belts when Hawk pinned Snuka after only a couple of minutes with the Doomsday Device. Fans were disappointed by this rematch, but were glad to see sportsmenship as both teams shook afterwards. negative*
Card #109 will come from the Sportatorium in Dallas! *The Destroyer will take on "Cowboy" Bob Orton, Jr.! These two have some heated matches this year, with Orton putting Destroyer out of action on two seperate occassions with back injuries. But Orton is coming off a somewhat embarassing loss to Koko B. Ware and S.D. Jones. Who will come out on top here? *For the first time in a one-on-one setting, former teammates Buddy Rogers and Gorgeous George will square off! You can bet the "Nature Boy" will be out for revenge after George and his atomizer cost Rogers and Snuka the USWA World Tag Team titles! Is Rogers fully healed up from his injury? *In a match to determine the next challenger for Nick Bockwinkel's USWA World Heavyweight championship, two popular wrestlers will square off as Antonio Inoki will lock-up with Harley Race! Both men are dying for another shot at Bockwinkel. Who will get the win and who will the Dallas fans cheer for? *Justin Credible will put his USWA Texas title on the line against Red Bastien. Justin defeated Red on Card #105 in a competitive **** match to earn the match where he won the title. Red showed he can brawl, but can he win his first USWA singles championship? *And in the main event, Frank Gotch will make his first defense of the Southern Heavyweight championship against the Syrian madman, the Sheik! Both men are coming off victories against the other's partner. The Sheik is undefeated and Abdullah Farouk would love to lead him to his first USWA gold! To say this match is a clash of styles is an understatement! Can Sheik's underhanded tactics claim him the gold or will Gotch's pure wrestling be the first to put the Sheik down? All this plus, Bob Orton, Sr., the team of Koko B. Ware and S.D. Jones, and a special appearance by the "Man of 1,000 Masks" Mil Mascaras!

Your fed is crap! Not nearly as good as my NWF, which can be found at the "Booking 101: Tim's NWF" thread (cheap plug, cheap plug)! There - we now have inter-promotional heat!! Sure, one is based in Memphis and the other in the Steel Belt, but I'm suspending disbelief.
Does Chad allow you to promote shows west of Hammond, Indiana? I had to sign a non-compete agreement! Make sure to stay south of Weirton and Fairmont , WV as well!
Good to finally have you in the Forum. How can you not like a fed where Playboy Buddy Rose is a two-time champ?

Thanks Neil for the compliment. Thanks to Tim as well for his words here and on his own board. My all-time favorite NWF angle is "crazy Frank Gotch" thinking Volkoff was Hackenschmidt (before Hack had a card) and that Bobo was Jack Johnson.

The Frank Gotch angle was one of my favorites as well.
Readers' Digest version: Gotch got a concussion during a match, and was out of it for a couple of months. He thought Volkoff was Hackenschmidt, Iron Sheik was Great Gama and Bobo Brazil was boxing champ Jack Johnson.
Yes, I turned one of America's greatest wrestlers into mid-card comedy relief.

Was that the same time period that he and Gotch had the Humboldt County Match--where Sheik had to wrestle barefoot, so he couldn't use his evil loaded boot? Good stuff!

After having only one wrestler bleed a couple cards back, Card #109 featured a ton of blood!
Card #109 Sportatorium: Dallas
1) Koko B. Ware and S.D. Jones scored their second USWA win defeating "Dastardly" Danny Doring and Cousin Luke. Doring and Luke won their debut against Ware and Jones back in July at the 100th USWA event, but Special Delivery and "The Birdman" would get a win back tonight. They kept the hillbilly in the ring the whole time and scored the victory after Ware hit a Ghostbuster. 1/4*
2) The Sandman beat Bob Orton, Sr. by DQ. Orton dominated the brawler for most of the match, but Sandman made a comeback. "The Big O" got frustrated and bailed out to ringside. Bobby Heenan tried distracting referee Kevin Christian, while Orton brought a chair into the ring, which he used to clock Sandman with. Christian turned around just in time to see this and DQ'd Orton. 3/4*
3) The Vachons defeated The Dream Team. "The Hammer" and Beefcake gave Capt. Lou's team their toughest challenge so far in the USWA. The Vachons busted Brutus open and Mad Dog scored the pin after a piledriver. ***3/4
4) Masked Superstar rebounded from his first USWA loss on the last show to score a big win over former Southern Heavyweight champ Bobo Brazil. Superstar busted Bobo open and locked on his cobra hold. Brazil fought valiantly, but ultimately went down. **1/4
5) The Destroyer made his rival Bob Orton, Jr. submit in a great back-and-forth match. The "Cowboy" put out the "Intelligent, Sensational One" twice this year for short periods of time with a back injury. Destroyer worked over the younger Orton's leg throughout this match. Orton scored a very nearfall when he had Destroyer pinned with his own feet on the ropes, but Giant Baba (who was there to counter Bobby "The Brain" Heenan's presence) pointed it out to referee Frank Morell. Destroyer came back and busted Orton open. Destroyer locked on his figure-four leglock in center ring. "The Brain" attempted to run in, but was caught by Baba. The "Cowboy" tapped out as the Dallas crowd erupted in cheers! ****
6) Mil Mascaras made a special appearance and made Chris Candido submit to a bow and arrow after just a few minutes of action. *
7) Buddy Rogers defeated former teammate Gorgeous George in the first one-on-one meeting. Rogers started off with a flurry of offense on "The Human Orchid," but George turned the tables and bailed out of the ring. He grabbed the "Nature Boy's" leg from the outside and tripped him up, then smashed his leg into the ringpost. He jumped back in and applied his spinning toe hold. Rogers looked like he would tap out, as George held him in the hold for two minutes, but Rogers made the ropes. Even with a bad leg, Rogers staged a big comeback on George. He applied his figure-four grapevine and caused George to tap out, making Rogers 7-0 in singles competition this year! Afterwards, Chris Candido ran down and attack Rogers' leg with a chop block. Cherie Dupre grabbed a chair from ringside and handed it to George who smashed Rogers' already wounded leg with a chair several times. He applied the spinning toe hold again. Cherie handed him his atomizer, while Candido held Rogers and it looked like George was going to spray him in the eyes again! Finally Jimmy Snuka ran down to save his partner before further damage could be done. It was later determined that Rogers had suffered a leg injury and will probably be out of action for the rest of this year. ***1/2
8) Antonio Inoki pinned Harley Race to earn another shot at the USWA World Heavyweight championship on the next card. Fans were split between these two competitors. Inoki scored some early neafalls on Race, but the former Southern champ made a comeback. He hit a swinging neckbreaker, then his piledriver on Inoki, but Inoki managed to kickout. Inoki cameback and hit three knee drops off the top rope. He pulled Race up to his feet and nailed him with a big enzuigiri, then covered him to score the three count! Inoki helped revive Race afterwards and the two men shook hands. ***
9) Justin Credible pinned Red Bastien in a bloody match to retain the USWA Texas championship. Justin made Red see "red" as he busted him open with his Singapore Cane, while Jim Cornette distracted referee Paul Morton. At one point, Red was almost counted out, after Cornette smacked him with his tennis racket, but he managed to crawl back into the ring. Red rallied back and scored nearfalls as well, as the Lone Star State fans cheered him on hoping to see a title change. But Cornette again distracted the official allowing Justin to grab the cane and smack Bastien with it again. He covered Bastien and Morton turned around to make the three-count. ****
10) The main event was one of the wildest matches in USWA history! The Sheik defeated Southern champ Frank Gotch by countout in a BLOODY match. Gotch outwrestled Sheik (to no surprise) and looked like he would be the first to defeat the Syrian madman. He busted him open and locked on his Gotch Toehold, but Sheik somehow managed to make the ropes. Gotch applied the hold again later on, but Abdullah Farouk distracted referee Jerry Calhoun. This allowed Sheik the chance to recover and throw a huge fireball at Gotch! Gotch fell out of the ring, where Sheik began to work him over. He pulled out his other famous weapon, his sharp object and started to jab the champ with it. He applied a hammerlock, and then later his camel clutch, but Gotch would not give. While Farouk again distracted the ref, Sheik again carved away at Gotch, who was on the apron, with his object, busting him open. Gotch fell to the arena floor and was too weak to return to the ring by a 10-count, giving Sheik the victory, but keeping Gotch as champ. The Dallas fans booed Sheik's sadistic actions and nearly rioted! ****1/2 (Sheik has nine fatigue tokens on him, while Gotch had five! I usually am not a big fan of countout finishes, but this worked out well, as I didn't want Gotch to lose the belt already, but at the same time I didn't want Sheik's unbeaten streak to end.)
The USWA will kick off the month of November with a big show in Nashville at the Municipal Auditorium. Here is what the fans will see for Card #110. *In a rematch from Dallas, Bob Orton, Sr. will face The Sandman. The Sandman will have an extra advantage here, as his 90-days without his Singapore Cane at ringside has ended! Both men could use a win here. Who will come out on top? *"Superfly" Jimmy Snuka will take on Chris Candido. You can bet the "Superfly" will be a man possessed (more than usual) after what Candido and Gorgeous George did to his tag partner, Buddy Rogers. Will the "Superfly" get some revenge or will Candido pull out a win? *Harley Race continues his war with the Heenan Family, as he will face the Masked Superstar. Both men are coming off losses to Antonio Inoki. Can Race score a win or will Heenan and his men cause him more problems? *The World Tag Team champions will be in non-title action, as the Road Warriors will take on Jim Cornette's duo of "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton and Texas champion Justin Credible. Cornette recently announced on WMC-TV that he has found a replacment for Stan Lane in the Midnight Express and he will debut in the USWA soon, but first he wants Eaton to have a "warm-up" match to get back in the swing of tag action. I doubt anyone else would call a match with the Legion of Doom a warm-up! Will the champs stop Cornette's men or will Eaton and Credible score an upset? *The main event will be a big rematch for the USWA World Heavyweight championship as Nick Bockwinkel defends against Antonio Inoki! Inoki won his debut match in the USWA pinning Bockwinkel in a tag match (Bockwinkel's only pinfall loss this year) in July, but Bockwinkel retained against him in August. Can the Japanese superstar take Bock's belt away or will Bock retain again? All this plus Gorgeous George, the Vachons, and the team of The Sheik and Sabu in action!
