This Sunday, September 17, Major League Wrestling's (MLW's) AWA brand presents Unforgiven!
1. Bobo Brazil (seconded by Bobo Brazil) vs World Champion Nick Bockwinkel (seconded by Ray Stevens)
Bobo Brazil earned the right to challenge World Champion Nick Bockwinkel in the main event at Unforgiven by winning in the finals of the Gold Rush Tournament last week on AWA:RAW. Brazil will be accompanied by Mil Mascaras who is Brazil's friend and tag team partner in Brothers of Other Mothers. This will be the first-ever championship match between Brazil and Bockwinkel. Can Bockwinkel, who is seconded in this match by fellow Heenan Family member Ray Stevens, manage to retain the World Championship which he has held since late March?
2. Antonino Rocca vs Intercontinental Champion Larry Zbyszko (accompanied by body guard Cowboy Bob Orton Jr). In a rematch from Summer Slam when Zbyszko defeated Rocca in the Intercontinental Championship Tournament Finals to become Major League Wrestling's first-ever Intercontinental Champion, Rocca received the right to challenge Zbyszko after finishing second to Bobo Brazil in the Gold Rush Tournament. Will Rocca, whose recent inability to win big matches has been mocked by Zbyszko, manage to avenge his Summer Slam defeat to Zbyszko and win his first-ever title in Major League Wrestling?
3. Killer Bees vs MLW Tag Team Champions The Heart Thrashers in a best 2 out of 3 falls match.
The Killer Bees received the right to challenge the Heart Thrashers after defeating the Vachons in a #1 contenders match a couple of weeks ago on AWA:RAW. Will it be Blair and Brunzell or Beefcake and Bagwell who prove to be the superior
double Bs and walk away from Unforgiven as the MLW tag Team Champions?
4. Jimmy Snuka vs Don Muraco (dog collar match)
This match has been brewing for months. At the Great American Bash where Snuka defeated Gorgeous George in a dog collar match, Muraco made his sudden debut in Major League Wrestling by attacking Snuka from behind while Snuka still had the dog collar around his neck. Muraco's brutal attack included hanging Snuka over the ring ropes while holding onto one end of the dog collar and landed Snuka on the injured list for over a month and a half. Although Snuka avenged this injury when he returned to the active roster to defeat Muraco at Summer Slam, Snuka is determined to get further payback against Muraco while wearing a dog collar- the same device that Muraco used to injure Snuka-in at match at Unforgiven.
5. Crusher vs King Kong Bundy
An avowed enemy of the Heenan Family, the Crusher is looking to avenge being ambushed and AVALANCHED by Bundy in the ring last week on AWA:RAW following a match between the Crusher and Heenan Family "problem solver" Ox Baker. This will be the first-ever one on one matchup between the Crusher and Bundy.
6. Jim Londos vs Gorgeous George
Londos exchanged some heated words in the hallway with George following his (Londos') defeat in the Semi Finals of the Gold Rush Tournament to Antonino Rocca last week on AWA:RAW. Later that night, George was the guest on Larry Land and continued making fun of Londos until Londos arrived on Larry Land and challenged George to a match at Unforgiven.
7. Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Nikolai Volkoff in a 2X4 match.
After suffering some recent losses in his feud against Volkoff and the Iron Sheik, will a 2X4 match help Duggan defeat the big Russian?
8. Double Axe Attack vs Vachons
This match developed after a backstage confrontation betweeen the Hennigs and the Vachons. Who will win this family vs family tag team confrontation?
