USWA Glory #67 Reno, NV April 10, 2118
Quick results of the show:
King Kong Bundy def. Larry Hennig Bob Armstrong def. Antonino Rocca Valiants def. Road Warriors by DQ Crusher def. Dallas Page Ed Lewis def. Larry Zbyszko Kangaroos def. Giant Baba & Antonio Inoki Dream Team def. Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens by DQ
Quick highlights:
Buddy Rose started an interview where he was complaining about Sherri Martel leaving him and his not getting another rematch for the TV title when Bruiser Brody stormed out from the back. It only took a few words from each man before the pair fought to the ring. Rose very nearly came away with a monster upset. Brody staved off that embarrassment with the knee drop.
Armstrong pulled off a huge win over Rocca. The LOD dominated the match but were DQed. The Kangaroos knocked off the Japanese duo in record time.
Bockwinkel & Stevens teamed for the first time against the U.S. tag champs. The Dream Team were in control and won by DQ. Harley Race hit the ring and attacked Stevens and Bockwinkel and then Brody raced out and joined the brawl. World champion Jimmy Snuka also came out and Brody started a fight with him.
Next week in Tucson, AZ the USWA has planned a big-time show.

USWA Glory #68 Tucson, AZ April 16, 2118
Quick results:
April Hunter, Reggie Bennett, Malia Hosaka def. Misty Blue, Yumi Fukawa, Alexis Laree NOTE: April Hunter signed this match herself.
Jim Londos, Danny Hodge def. Antonio Inoki, Giant Baba Frank Gotch def. Brad Armstrong Jimmy Valiant def. Animal by DQ Ed Lewis def. Curt Hennig Harley Race def. Ray Stevens Nick Bockwinkel def. Greg Valentine Jimmy Snuka, Crusher def. Bruiser Brody, King Kong Bundy Kangaroos def. Destroyer, Dan Severn to win the World tag team titles.
Quick highlights:
Fans enjoyed an exciting womens six-man tag team match to open the show. Yumi Fukawa was pummelled all around the ring but managed to make a tag. Alexis Laree held her own briefly but was also beaten down and then finished off by Hosaka.
Frank Gotch seemed to have some ring rust in his return to the squared circle. Armstrong got to the ropes after Gotch nearly had the toe hold cinched in just seconds into the match. Brad then took over and had Gotch off balance. Once Gotch got back to the mat he soon finished off Armstrong with the toe hold.
The Valiants and LOD went to singles matches after a dq result last week. They had another one as Animal got too reckless outside the ring.
Harley Race beat Ray Stevens in short order with the piledriver. Larry Hennig came out and joined Race in a post-match beat down until Nick Bockwinkel ran in.
Greg Valentine then came out and grabbed ahold of Bockwinkel and their match got underway as Race, Hennig and Stevens brawled to the back. The Hammer came close to beating the former world champion a few times but Bockwinkel avoided the loss and used the figure four to do it.
World champ Jimmy Snuka & the Crusher took on the out of control Bruiser Brody and King Kong Bundy. The Colossal Kongs took over the fight until the Superfly faced off with his former partner Brody. A backbreaker gave Snuka an unexpected fast pin on Brody.
The Kangaroos finally got a shot at the tag team titles and they capitalized. Dan Severn couldn't get away from them and the Destoyer was unable to make the save. The Boomerang pinned the Beast and Wild Red Berry's men celebrated in the ring with the belts.
The USWA is now set to present The Parade of Champions coming to you from the Sam Houston Coliseum.
Malia Hosaka will take on Alexis Laree in a dark match. Laree wants a little revenge after taking the fall in the six-man tag.
On the USWA Glory preshow Ilio DiPaolo will meet King Kong Bundy. The big man wants to get himself into the top 10 rankings.
Larry Zbyszko will try and take out his frustration on Antonino Rocca. The Living Legend can't believe he wasn't given a U.S. title match and accuses Londos of letting his friend have the match to avoid a tougher contest with him.
To open up the Parade of Champions the popular Crusher will square off with Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig. Bobby Heenan has been absent from ringside recently since the split between Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel. Hennig is still the top-ranked challenger in the USWA but not for long if he suffers another loss.
The first of 10 trial matches for Frank Gotch is on the card when he faces Buddy Rose. Gotch has set a challenge of beating the top 10 ranked wrestlers in the USWA on his way to the title. Rose is trying to recover from Sherri Martel leaving him and showing up in ICW.
Princess Victoria makes her first defense of the womens title against April Hunter in a rematch of the tournament final.
The Dream Team defend the U.S. tag team titles against the Armstrongs. Valentine and Beefcake haven't had many challenges lately.
Danny Hodge gets his first shot at the world television title held by Don Leo Jonathan. The champ showed a strong mat wrestler can beat him when he lost to Dick Hutton, but then regained the strap a week later.
The Road Warriors and the Valiant Brothers will try to settle their differences in a Texas Death Match.
Ed "Strangler" Lewis will challenge Jim Londos for the U.S. title. These two have been tag team partners this year and Lewis took up the cause for Londos against Larry Zbyszko.
Giant Baba and Antonio Inoki had their world tag team title match signed for the Parade of Champions and will not get that opportunity against the new title holders the Kangaroos. The Destroyer and Dan Severn, former champs, are not happy at all. This title match has been signed for the best two out of three falls and Baba and Inoki need to make the most of it as who knows when it will happen again.
Former Heenan Family members will do battle with one another. Both Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel thought they were in line for a world title match. Now it will be Race and Larry Hennig against Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens. Promoters threw in something different and made this an elimination match. Who will be left alone against the other two in this one?
The main event is for the world title and Jimmy Snuka is set to do battle with former friend and partner Bruiser Brody. The big man jumped from ICW to the USWA out of nowhere and his attacks on Snuka and many others have gotten him a championship match. However, the Superfly got him to sign the contract that included a Loser Leaves Town for 90 days clause. It's all or nothing for both these men.

USWA PARADE OF CHAMPIONS Sam Houston Coliseum Houston, TX April 24, 2118
An incredible night of wrestling that lived up to its name with six championship matches on the card.
DARK MATCH
Malia Hosaka def. Alexis Laree Fans are enjoying the womens division matchups and this one didn't disappoint anyone before the show went on the air. Laree lost the fall ina six-woman tag lst week. Hosaka won when Laree missed a splash off the top rope.
USWA GLORY PRESHOW
Glory opened up the big night with a pair of matches.
Ilio DiPaolo def. King Kong Bundy Ilio hit a flying shoulder block off the top to pin Bundy.
Larry Zbyszko def. Antonino Rocca The Living Legend was irate at not getting a U.S. title match tonight and instead Londos' friend Ed Lewis did. Zbyszko dominated this one and piledrove Rocca for the win.
PARADE OF CHAMPIONS
Curt Hennig def. Crusher The top two wrestlers in the USWA kicked off the Parade of Champions. It was the mat work of Hennig against the power of the Crusher. The fight went in and out of the ring. Hennig controlled things but the Cursher would fight back until the Perfect Plex ended this one.
FRANK GOTCH 10 MATCH TRIAL SERIES #1
Frank Gotch def. Buddy Rose The first of a series of matches pitting Frank Gotch against the top 10 wrestlers in the USWA. Rose fought off the leg work by Gotch who used the figure four and the rolling knee bar to set up the Toe Hold. Rose hung in there, helped out by a foreign object, but finally the Toe Hold was too much for him to withstand.
Princess Victoria def. April Hunter to retain the womens championship A rematch from the finals of the Queen's Cup Tournament. It went a lot like the first time with Victoria able to nail some high risk moves on Hunter like a moonsault to the floor. Hunter's power advantage saved her at times but the champ maintained the offense and won after a second rope leg drop.
U.S. Tag champs the Dream Team def. the Armstrongs by D.Q. The Armstrongs were ready for their title shot and kept Brutus Beefcake in trouble until Brad slammed into the corner ring post. The match went back and forth with near countouts, disqualifications and pinfalls. It was Bob Armstrong that got DQed on the outside.
Danny Hodge def. Don Leo Jonathan to win the World TV title This was a super technical back and forth match. DLJ was able to match dropkicks with Hodge and both men kept up a sustained offense. Fortune smiled on Hodge when Jonathan hit the turnbuckle headfirst and Hodge covered him for the three count.
During intermission there were problems in the back with Brody and Snuka looking for each other and brawling around the building. The board decided that this would be an unsanctioned match and it would take place inside a steel cage. They also decided that the world title would not be on the line but the original loser leaves town stipulation would still be in effect.
Valiants def. the Road Warriors in a Texas Death Match The Valiants stood toe to toe with the Legion of Doom. After much carnage in and out of the ring a low blow by Johnny Valiant gave Jimmy his chance. After a shot with the chair Jimmy beat Animal with the Sleeper.
Ed Lewis def. Jim Londos to win the U.S. title As expected these two traqded moves and counters on the mat. Lewis continually came back with the full nelson and head lock. Finally the grueling pressure of the headlock wore out Londos.
Kangaroos def. Giant Baba & Antonio Inoki to retain the World Tag Team titles This was a 2/3 Falls match. Baba missed a charge in the corner and was abruptly hit with the Boomerang and pinned. Inoki applied the Octopus and then blasted Costello with the Enzuigiri to even the match. The Kangaroos started a four-way brawl and then used the Boomerang on Inoki to end the match.
Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens def. Harley Race & Larry Hennig This was an Elimination match. The two teams were tremendous in their double team moves and making tags when they needed. Race was hit from behind and Bockwinkel beat him with the piledriver. That left Hennig alone and it didn't take long for Bockwinkel & Stevens to finish him off.
Jimmy Snuka def. Bruiser Brody in a Steel Cage match Bruiser Brody is now out of work for 90 days! Snuka took some punishment but kept dishing it back to Brody. The Superfly was on a mission in this one to be done with Brody once and for all. Snuka did just that with a flying head butt for the pin.

USWA Glory #70 Louisville, KY May 1, 2118
One week after the Parade of Champions super event, Glory had a show filled with great wrestling and surprises.
In the ring at the start were representatives of the NWA board of directors and the championship committee. A quick recap of what happened with world champion Jimmy Snuka on last night's ICW Impact was given to the fans. The NWA does not want to see its world champion taking part in a very dangerous match for another promotion where he risks injury to himself. We are here to tell Mr. Snuka that if he does indeed take part in this unsanctioned match for the UWF then he will be stripped of the world championship.
Quick results:
Yumi Fukawa def. Reggie Bennett Dallas Page def. Brad Armstrong Bob Armstrong def. Dan Severn Antonino Rocca def. Antonio Inoki Destroyer def. Giant Baba Ray Stevens def. Larry Hennig Jim Londos def. Larry Zbyszko Frank Gotch def. Don Leo Jonathan Harley Race def. Nick Bockwinkel
Quick highlights:
The ladies put on another exciting contest with the diminutive Yumi Fukawa beating the powerhouse Reggie Bennett once again. She won their first round match in the Queen's Cup Tournament. Bennett missed a splash off the top rope and Yumi applied the cross arm breaker.
Dan Severn and Bob Armstrong fought toe to toe with "The Beast" taking control, but it was the elder Armstrong holding for on the win.
Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba have both fallen on hard times lately since not being able to come away with the world tag team titles.
Ray Stevens landed the Bombs Away twice on "The Axe" to get the pin.
Frank Gotch and the former two-time world TV champion Don Leo Jonathan put on a wrestling clinic. This was also match #2 in the Frank Gotch 10 Match Trial Series. Gotch never let up working on the legs of Jonathan and finally won with the Toe Hold.
The feud between Heenan Family members Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel continues to build. Race won this one with the piledriver and then Larry Hennig came in to double team Bockwinkel.
Then Jimmy Snuka exploded onto the scene and cleaned the ring himself. The Superfly was on Impact last night in Moroccoa defending the title against Rikidozan and then raced to be on Glory. "I'm letting everyone know that I'm not done with Bruiser Brody, but will be in just a couple weeks. Take my world title if you have to but I will be facing Brody one more time."
Next week in Wheeling, WV Malia Hosaka vs. Misty Blue Simms Antonio Inoki vs. Brad Armstrong Jimmy Valiant vs. Buddy Rose Giant Baba vs. Antonino Rocca Crusher vs. Ilio DiPaolo Ed Lewis, Jim Londos, Frank Gotch, Don Leo Jonathan vs. Larry Zbyszko, Dallas Page, Destroyer, Dan Severn Danny Hodge (TV Ch) vs. Bob Armstrong Road Warriors vs. Dream Team ELIMINATION MATCH Harley Race, Larry & Curt Hennig vs. Nick Bockwinkel, Ray Stevens, King Kong Bundy

USWA Glory #71 Wheeling, WV May 8, 2118
Quick results:
Misty Blue Simms def. Malia Hosaka Brad Armstrong def. Antonio Inoki by D.Q. Jimmy Valiant def. Buddy Rose Giant Baba def. Antonino Rocca Crusher def. Ilio DiPaolo by C.O. Larry Zbyszko, Dallas Page, Destroyer, Dan Severn def. Ed Lewis, Jim Londos, Don Leo Jonathan, Frank Gotch Danny Hodge def. Bob Armstrong to retain the World TV title Road Warriors def. Dream Team Nick Bockwinkel, Ray Stevens, King Kong Bundy def. Harley Race, Larry Hennig, Curt Hennig in an Elimination Match. Bockwinkel and Bundy were the survivors.
Quick highlights:
The main event furthered the battle between Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race as both want to be the next challenger for the world title, even with the specter of Jimmy Snuka being stripped of the belt should he wrestle Bruiser Brody at UWF Pain & Punishment.
Curt Hennig quickly got rid of Stevens with the Perfect Plex. The match became two on two when Bundy squashed Curt Hennig with the Avalanche. From there Race and Larry Hennig and Bockwinkel and Stevens went back and forth in a great tag team match. Bockwinkel eliminated Race with the Sleeper and shortly after that the Avalanche ended the match for Larry Hennig.

I like how Race teams with the Hennigs in your fed...I had both Hennigs in the Heenan family and Race's time has been great. However, Race as a founding member of that stable is itching for a different challenge....Good work!
Have you decided what you plan to do with the Valiants and The Dream Team?

Haven't made up my mind about the Valiants and the Dream Team with manager Lou Albano for both. I haven't been setting up the Valentine no showing angle like others have, so don't know if I want to do that right off the bat with a title match or not. I want to get Valentine a singles run as he has mostly been in a team since I started the game.
Race was the first man in the Heenan Family for me too. I worked on building him against Bockwinkel for awhile as both were world champs and Bockwinkel helped Race keep his title.

USWA Glory #72 Cleveland, OH May 15, 2118
A lot happened on this edition of Glory. The last two weeks of the month are packed with huge shows with UWF Pain & Punishment tomorrow, then ICW Saturday Nights Main Event and then May ends up with the Cauliflower Cup Tournament that appears will crown a new world heavyweight champion.
Quick results:
Yumi Fukawa def. Misty Blue Simms Crusher def. Ilio DiPaolo by C.O. Road Warriors def. Armstrongs by C.O. Antonino Rocca def. Jim Londos Antonio Inoki & Giant Baba def. Destroyer & Dan Severn Ed Lewis def. Larry Zbyszko to retain the U.S. title Valiants def. Dream Team to win the U.S. tag team titles Harley Race def. King Kong Bundy Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens def. Hennigs
Quick Highlights:
Ed Lewis handled the challenge of Larry Zbyszko with ease. The Living Legend fought to avoid the power of the Strangler but couldn't do it.
Lou Albano's two teams met for the U.S. tag team titles. The Valiants stayed in control most of the way and beat Brutus Beefcake with the top rope elbow to win the belts. After the match, Greg Valentine confronted Beefcake about losing and then attacked his partner. The Valiants joined in on the beating and that was the end of the Dream Team.
A double main event featured the ongoing feud between Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel. Race took on King Kong Bundy and pulled off a fast win after catching the big man off guard, rolling up him and using the ropes to get the pin.
Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens took on the team of Larry and Curt Hennig. The Axe and Mr. Perfect went right at Bockwinkel & Stevens but the veteran duo dominated and a double team move after getting rid of Curt led to the demise of Larry.
Next week in Buffalo, NY: Yumi Fukawa vs. April Hunter Antonino Rocca vs. Larry Zbyszko Jim Londos vs. Curt Hennig Giant Baba, Antonio Inoki vs. Harley Race, Larry Hennig Brutus Beefcake vs. Jimmy Valiant Crusher vs. Ilio DiPaolo (Falls Count Anywhere) Frank Gotch vs. Destroyer (Gotch Trial Series #3) Road Warriors vs. Nick Bockwinkel, Ray Stevens Danny Hodge (TV Ch) vs. Greg Valentine

USWA Glory #73 Buffalo, NY May 22, 2118
Glory gave fans a huge show just one week before the Cauliflower Cup Tournament that will crown a new world heavyweight champion. Last night on ICW Impact it was announced that Jimmy Snuka was stripped of the world title because he took part in the Hell in a Cell Match at UWF Pain & Punishment six days ago.
April Hunter def. Yumi Fukawa
Big Red dethroned Fukawa's hopes of an NWA womens title match by overpowering her much smaller foe. The Head Hunter it was spelled demise for Fukawa.
Antonino Rocca def. Larry Zbyszko
The Living Legend had this one well in hand until Rocca turned the tables on him pulled off a quick pin after coming off the top rope.
Curt Hennig def. Jim Londos
Mr. Perfect didn't have much trouble in putting away the former U.S. champion with the Perfect Plex.
Giant Baba/Antonio Inoki def. Harley Race/Larry Hennig
This one ended very fast as Baba nailed the Axe with the Neckbreaker Drop for the pin before Race ever got in the ring.
Jimmy Valiant def. Brutus Beefcake
Beefcake took the fight to his former friends in Albano's Army. Jimmy Valiant proved to be too much with the help of Albano on the outside and won with the Sleeper.
Ilio DiPaolo def. Crusher in a Falls Count Anywhere Match
Two weeks in a row the Crusher beat DiPaolo by a count out. This time falls would count anywhere. The two battered each other outside the ring but it was an Airplane Spin by DiPaolo inside the ring that ended the match.
Destroyer def. Frank Gotch
This was match #3 in the Frank Gotch Trial Match Series. It was an amazing technical contest as the two traded crippling leg holds. In the end it was the Destroyer coming away the victor after the Figure Four. Surprisingly given the Destroyer's conduct the last several months the two shook hands after the match.
Road Warriors def. Nick Bockwinkel/Ray Stevens
The LOD took the win with ferocious power. Bockwinkel and Stevens held their own until the Doomsday Device finished off Stevens.
The NWA board of directors and championship committe came out and explained to the fans about the world title being held up. The Cauliflower Cup Tournament would now decide a new heavyweight champion following the 16-man single elimination tournament. The final spot in the tournament would go to whoever is the world television champion. So the main event tonight not only is for the TV title but a chance at becoming the world champion. Will it be Danny Hodge or Greg Valentine?
The seeds and first round matches were released.
Round 1
1. Johnny Valentine (I-C Ch) vs. 16. Danny Hodge/Greg Valentine (TV Ch)
5. Bobo Brazil vs. 12. Iron Sheik
7. Mil Mascaras vs. 10. Jim Londos
3. Curt Hennig vs. 14. Don Leo Jonathan
4. Rick Rude vs. 13. Crusher
8. Harley Race vs. 9. Nick Bockwinkel
6. Rikidozan vs. 11. George Hackenschmidt
2. Ed Lewis (U.S. Ch) vs. Steve Williams
Greg Valentine def. Danny Hodge for the World TV Title
Just one week ago Greg Valentine and his cronies in Albano's Army turned on Brutus Beefcake and basically gave the U.S. tag team titles to the Valiant Brothers. No one knows how Albano got Greg Valentine a TV title match so fast. The Hammer never let Hodge get his high-flying offense going and after pounding the champ on the outside took the match with the Figure Four Leglock to win the world television championship and gain the last spot in the world title tournament.
The Cauliflower Cup Tournament is next week in Pittsburgh, PA where a new world champion will be crowned. Also on the card will be a world tag team title match between the champions the Kangaroos the I-C tag team champions the Vachons!

The Cauliflower Cup Tournament Pittsburgh, PA May 29, 2118
The second annual Cauliflower Cup Tournament takes on even more importance this year as it is for the vacant NWA World heavyweight title. One year ago Mil Mascaras def. the Destroyer in the final to win trophy. The man who can outlast 15 other wrestlers will earn the right to wear the coveted championship belt.
USWA Glory
Madusa Miceli def. April Hunter
An important rankings match between ICW and the USWA. Madusa came away with a fast win after a top rope dropkick.
Masked Superstar def. Killer Kowalski
The series between these two started at Pain & Punishment when they were the last men left in the double ring battle royal. The Superstar picked up the win after a spinning neckbreaker.
Frank Gotch def. Anonio Inoki
This was No. 4 in the Frank Gotch 10 Match Trial Series. An amazing technical display by both grapplers. Inoki could not stand anymore after Gotch repeatedly used the rolling knee bar and took the win with the Toe Hold.
The Cauliflower Cup
Round 1
(1) Johnny Valentine def. (16) Greg Valentine
There is a lot of history between the father and son that squared off in the opening match. They were the first ever World tag team champions. In October of 2116 they won the inaugural Crockett Cup tag team tournament. It was a month later in Japan where the Valentines broke up and a bitter feud started between father and son that saw Johnny def. Greg in a Dog Collar match at Starrcade 2116. In April of 2117 Johnny and Don Leo Jonathan took the tag team belts from Greg and Brutus Beefcake and beat the Dream Team again at the Parade of Champions in a Lumberjack Match.
The Hammer just last week won the World TV title and the right to be in this tournament, while his father won the I-C strap for the second time also last week.
Greg had his dad hurt with the shoulder breaker and was able to get the Figure Four applied. Johnny fought back and beat his son with the Skullcrusher.
(12) Iron Sheik def. (5) Bobo Brazil
These two definitely know each other as Bobo was forced to fight the Iron Sheik along with the original Sheik and the rest of his mob. Just two weeks ago both men were involved in the War Games match at Pain & Punishment.
The Iron Sheik attacked before the bell and put Bobo in the Camel Clutch. Bobo never got things turned around and the Iron Sheik scored a major upset by submission with the Camel Clutch.
(7) Mil Mascaras def. (10) Jim Londos
Mascaras stayed in charge all the way and came at Londos from every direction. Londos got the Airplane Spin but Mascaras won with the top rope splash.
(14) Don Leo Jonathan def. (3) Curt Hennig
These two exchanged moves and Hennig got the Perfect Plex on DLJ. Jonathan took the match with the Mormon Swing.
(4) Rick Rude def. (13) Crusher
Rude and the Crusher fought back and forth and went in and out of the ring. The Rude Awakening ended the night for the Crusher.
(8) Harley Race vs. (9) Nick Bockwinkel
Two former Heenan Family Members have been feuding since Wrestlemania II. The went through a war at Pain & Punishment in a Last Man Standing match. This time it was a lot shorter as after brawling on the floor Race planted Bockwinkel with the piledriver and won the match.
(6) Rikidozan vs. (11) George Hackenschmidt
Rikidozan proved to be too much for Hackenschmidt, at least on this occasion. Rikidozan was all over the Russian with hip locks and then his big chops scored the pin.
(2) Ed Lewis def. (15) Steve Williams
This one was a great match between two very big and powerful men. Lewis, the U.S. champion, weathered the storm against Dr. Death. Williams was in control most of the time but Lewis came out on top with the full nelson.
Quarterfinals
Johnny Valentine def. Iron Sheik
This is another match the fans have seen a lot. At Starrcade 2117 Valentine took the I-C strap from the Iron Sheik in a Lumberjack Match. This one was nothing but a slugfest and Valentine won again with the Skullcrusher.
Mil Mascaras def. Don Leo Jonathan
Mascaras stayed away from the power of Jonathan and won another match by coming off the top rope.
Harley Race def. Rick Rude
A match no one ever thought would happen when these two were members of the Heenan Family. Rude and the rest of the team have not gotten involved in the problems between Race and Bockwinkel. Rude stayed with the former world champion but after both men were down after hitting the ropes Race won again with the Piledriver.
Rikidozan def. Ed Lewis
Lewis only applied his headlock once to the Japanese superstar. Rikidozan beat the U.S. champion after a piledriver and his famous chops.
NWA Womens Championship Match Sherri Martel def. Princess Victoria to win the title
Sherri Martel would not be denied after earning her title shot. She was all over the champion. A big knee lift, leg drop and then the top rope splash finished off Victoria.
Semifinals
Mil Mascaras def. Johnny Valentine
Mascaras moved on to the finals by beating the I-C champion with a missile dropkick and then his patented top rope crossbody.
Harley Race def. Rikidozan
Race reached the championship match, something he and Bockwinkel have been fighting over for months. Race dished it out to Rikidozan and finally downed the Japanese legends with the Piledriver.
NWA World Tag Team Title Match Kangaroos def. Vachons to retain the titles
The Kangaroos faced the I-C tag team champions. The Vachons didn't give them much of a fight in their long-awaited title match. Al Costello beat the Butcher with his leglock.
Finals
Mil Mascaras def. Harley Race to win the World heavyweight title
These two are very familiar with one another. At Starrcade 2116 Mascaras took the gold from Race. It was in the spring of the next year, after Mascaras lost the belt and regained it, that Race took it back at the Parade of Champions.
Race held the advantage for most of the match with head butts and suplexes. Mascaras kept coming back and forced Race to submit to the octopus hold to become a three-time world heavyweight champion.

The USWA is set for its first edition of Glory following the Cauliflower Cup where Mil Mascaras won the 16-man tournamnet to become the new world heavyweight champion.
Bob and Brad Armstrong will face the team of S.D. Jones and Virgil making their debut. George Hackenschmidt arrives in the USWA and will wrestle George South. Yumi Fukawa and April Hunter will do battle in an important rankings match in the womens division.
Yukon Eric will have his first match in the USWA against Larry "the Axe" Hennig. Former World TV champion Danny Hodge signed to fight Stan Lane as he is back in the USWA but without his tag team partners or manager.
Frank Gotch continues his 10 Match Trial Series against Harley Race, the man who went to the finals of the Cauliflower Cup Tournament. Brutus Beefcake went out and got some big-time help in his fight against Lou Albano's Army and will team with the Road Warriors against the Valiant Brothers and their new partner Don Muraco.
Fan favorite Bobo Brazil is back in the USWA and he is signed for a Lumberjack Match against the Iron Sheik. The main event has U.S. champion Ed "Strangler" Lewis defending the title against Curt Hennig.

USWA Glory #75 Philadelphia, PA June 5, 2118
The Armstrongs def. S.D. Jones/Virgil
The return to the ring of S.D. and Virgil was short-lived and not very good. Bob Armstrong quickly took over against S.D. and Brad Armstrong finished him with the Russian Leg Sweep as Virgil never got in the ring.
George Hackenschmidt def. George South
The big Russian returned to the USWA and easily worked over George South before winning with the Bear Hug.
April Hunter def. Yumi Fukawa by D.Q.
This was a rematch from two weeks ago in Buffalo where April Hunter beat Fukawa and likely cost her a title match. This time Fukawa was disqualified after hitting April off the top and continuing to attack while she was tied up in the ropes.
Yukon Eric def. Larry Hennig
The big Alaskan also returned to action and both of these big men hit their finisher on the other. It took the Kodiac Crunch twice for Eric to put away the Axe.
Stan Lane def. Danny Hodge
Stan Lane pulled off a big upset in his first singles match alone in the USWA as his teammates are in ICW. Hodge rammed his shoulder into the corner and Lane rolled him for a fast pin.
Harley Race def. Frank Gotch
This was match No. 5 in the Frank Gotch 10 Match Trial Series. Race dominated this one as Gotch never got a strong hold applied. Race hammered away until getting the pin with the Piledriver.
Valiants, Don Muraco def. Road Warriors, Brutus Beefcake
Beefcake picked up some big time help against Lou Albano's men. This six man tag was a rough and tumble struggle back and forth. The Valiants got the win with the Top Rope Elbow. Out of nowhere two huge men stormed the ring and attacked Hawk and Animal. Albano showed off his newest tag team, Alofa and Samu the Wild Samoans!
Bobo Brazil def. Iron Sheik in a Lumberjack Match
These two batted it out once more and actually stayed in the ring most of the time. Both did take a beating while on the floor. Bobo survived the Camel Clutch for a long time before coming back to beat the Iron Sheik.
Curt Hennig def. Ed Lewis to win the U.S. title
Curt Hennig stayed away from the power and the headlock of Lewis. The champ fought hard and stayed alive as long as he could but Hennig never let up and took the U.S. title with the Perfect Plex.
Next week in the Meadowlands: Misty Blue Simms/Yumi Fukawa vs. April Hunter/Reggie Bennett Red Bastien vs. George South Harley Race/Larry Hennig vs. S.D. Jones/Virgil Yukon Eric vs. Iron Sheik Frank Gotch vs. Danny Hodge Road Warriors, Brutus Beefcake vs. Wild Samoans, Don Muraco Ed Lewis vs. George Hackenschmidt Greg Valentine (World TV Ch) vs. Stan Lane Valiant Bros. (U.S. Tag Ch) vs. Armstrongs
