Lance Russell: Ladies and Gentleman welcome to the Baltimore Arena, we are live and tonight we kick off first round of the World Series of Wrestling! Tonight you will see all the first round matches for Bracket #1 which consists of 8 huge matches! During the show, the LWF's backstage reporter Bill Apter will be getting interviews with all the competitors in tonights big show. Lets go to our ring annoucer Gary Michael Cappetta!
GMC: Ladies and gentlemen our first contest is scheduled for one fall with a 20 min. Time Limit! Introducing first, led to the ring by his manager Tammy Lynn Sytch, he hails from Cherry Hill, NJ, weighing in at 226 pounds, the #15th seed
CHRIS CANDIDO!GMC: and his opponent hailing from Louisville, KY weighing in at 230 pounds the #2 seed....
ED "STRANGLER" LEWIS!CHRIS CANDIDO VS. ED STRANGLER LEWISthe match starts with Ed Lewis taking control. Lewis shoots in for a single leg take down, and takes Candido to the mat. Lewis applys a half nelson and begins to work over Candido with his ground skills. Candido reaches the ropes and the ref makes Lewis breaks the hold. Candido and Lewis lock up again This time Candido knees Lewis to the mid section. Candido sends Lewis off the ropes and sets up for a backdrop, but Lewis delivers a devistating knee to Candido's face sending him to the mat. Lewis delivers a snap mare to Candido and then locks on a front face lock. Tammy Sytch jumps on to the ring apron and starts to distract the ref. Lewis lets go over the face lock and goes over towards Sytch. Candido sneaks up behind Lewis and delivers a clubbing blow to the back of Lewis' Head. Candido picks Lewis up and delivers a power slam and goes for the pin. 1...2.... KICK OUT! Candido complains to the ref about a slow count. Candido picks Lewis up off the canvas and picks him up for a vertical suplex. Candido holds him up in the air for 10 seconds and comes crashing down to the mat. Lewis looks hurt. Candido goes for the pin again. 1......2.........KICKOUT! Once again Lewis kicks out. Candido picks up Lewis and shoots him into the Turnbuckle. Candido is going for his finisher the Blonde Bomb!!! Candido has Lewis up on the top rope, but Lewis blocks Candido from applying his finsher and gives him a huge back drop from the top rope! Lewis slowly makes his way down the top rope. Candido Slowly makes his way back up, but he doesn't see Lewis behind him.... Lewis applies the Strangler's Headlock!!!! Candido is going out fast! Tammy Sytch jumps to the apron again to get Lewis' attention. Lewis lets go of the hold and goes after Sytch once again. This Time Lewis has grabbed Sytch by the hair and is going to toss her into the ring. Candido gets up and bounces off the ropes to his Lewis with a forearm, but at the last second, Lewis moves out of the way and Candido hits Sytch!!!!!!!!!! Candido is shocked!!!! Lewis comes up from behind and puts the Strangler's Headlock on!!!! Candido is in pain!!!!! the ref asked Candido if he wants to give up..... Candido Screams I give up and the match is over!!!!! Ed Strangler Lewis defeats Chris Candido!!!!Winner: Ed "Strangler" Lewis 11 min.

Dan "The Beast" Severn!GMC: and his opponent, from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Weighing in at 290 pounds the # 7 seed
Killer Kowalski!The Match begins and the two monsters lock up. Severn puts Kowalski in a Front Chancery. Severn then gives Kowalski a Shoulder Throw that sends him to the mat. Severn goes for the quick pin but Kowalski kicks out at 1. Kowalski gives Severn a good shot to the mid section on his way back up. Kowalski pulls Severn's hair and takes him down to the mat. Kowalski Drops a knee to the midsection of the Beast. Kowalski then bounces off the ropes with a Jumping Elbow Drop and lands right on Severn's chest. Severn is in trouble as Kowalski goes for the pin. 1.....2..KICK OUT. Kowalski whips Severn into the turnbuckle and then hangs him on the turnbuckle pad. Kowalski starts to lay some stomps in on Severn. The ref finally gets Kowalski out of the corner and un hooks Severn. Kowalski continues the attack and hits a devistating backbreaker on Severn and goes for the pin... 1......2.....KICK OUT! Kowalski tries for another back breaker but Severn blocks its and backdrops Kowalski to the canvas. Severn then locks on a choke hold, but the ref makes him break since the choke is illegal. Severn gets a waist lock on Kowalski and lifts him high in the air for a german suplex, but Kowalski is able to break free at the last second. Kowalski hits Severn with a huge Forearm smash and then Body Slams him to the canvas! Kowalski heads for the second rope... he leaps off the rope with a Huge Knee Drop and Hits Severn square in the face. Kowalski calls for the Claw Hold and locks it on!!!!! Severn seems to be going to sleep!!!!! the ref checks to see Severn is responsive...... 1............2...........3!!!!!!!!! The ref calls for the Bell Killer Kowalski is the winner!!!!!Winner: Killer Kowalski 9 min

Billy "Red" Lyons!GMC: and his opponent, he hails from Argos, Greece, weighing in at 205 pounds the #3 seed...
Jim Londos!Both men shake hands before the match starts. Both men lock up and Londos quickly applys a head lock on to Billy Lyons. Lyons shoots Londos off the ropes, but Londos meets Lyons with a swift Shoulder Block that knocks Lyons to the mat. Lyons quickly returns to his feet but is met with a nice hip roll from Londos. Londos slaps on a head lock and Lyons is down on the mat. Lyons finally makes his way back to his feet, but Londos is able to headlock throw Lyons back to the mat. Londos, lets go of the hold and applys a short arm scissors. Lyons is in some real pain. Lyons finally reaches the ropes but is having trouble getting to his feet. Londos whips Lyons off the ropes, and catches him in mid air and puts him on his shoulders.... the crowd goes crazy as Londos starts to spin in circles!!!! Londos is going for the Airplane spin!!!! Lyons goes crashing down to the mat and Londos topples on to Lyons for the pin.... 1..........2.................3!!!!!!! Jim Londos wins the match!Winnner: Jim Londos 8 min

Konnan!GMC and his opponent from Moscow, Russia weighing in at 253 pounds the number #6 seed....
Ivan Koloff!Konnan turns his back to hand his ring gear to the ring girl, and Ivan Koloff attacks him from behind with brutal forearm. Koloff starts laying in vicous shots to the midsection area of Konnan Koloff rams Konnan's face into the turnbuckle twice and sends him to the mat. Koloff picks Konnan up and goes for a neckbreaker and drops Konnan to the mat. Konnan is in big trouble! Koloff picks Konnan up and throws him to the out side of the ring! The ref trys to stop Koloff from going out after Konnan but Koloff pushes the ref aside and the ref warns Koloff. Koloff gets to the floor but Konnan is waiting for him hits a huge series of punches to the face of Koloff. The crowd is definately behind Konnan. Konnan whips Koloff into the ring post and Koloff collides chest first into the post! Koloff is leaned up against the Ring post and Konnan goes for a SummerSault Clothesline, but Koloff moves and Konnan hits the ring post head first! He is Busted open! Koloff quickly throws Konnan back into the ring before the ref can count 10. Koloff picks the bloody Konnan off the canvas and locks on the Bear Hug!!! Blood is pouring from the face of Konnan and Konnan appears to be passing out due to the loss of blood. The ref calls for the bell!!! thats it! Ivan Koloff wins!!!!!!Winner: Ivan Koloff 6 Min

Lance Russell: Well folks that was a very impressive performance from Ivan Koloff and wether you like him or not, he is going to be a tough man to beat in this tournament. What show we have seen so far, and what a second round we have to look foward to as so far we know that the 2 seed Ed Lewis will take on the 7th Seed Killer Kowalski, and the 3 seed Jim Londos will take on the 6th Seed Ivan Koloff. Those are some big main event matches right there folks and thats only in the second round of the World Series of Wrestling. Those 4 men will be training very hard in the up coming weeks preparing themselves for their upcoming battles! lets go to ring side!

Steve Corinothe match begins and the two men exchange lefts and rights. Both of these former ECW warriors have no love loss for each other! Corino gets the upper hand when he delivers a big Chop to the Chest that sends Credible into some serious pain. Credible responds with his own Chop to the Chest! Corino is feeling the affects of that one. Corino then goes nose to nose with Credible and the delivers a humiliating slap right across the face of Justin Creidlbe! Credible is furious and goes for a double leg takedown and begins to pummel Corino into the mat! Credible picks Corino up and whips him into the corner. Credible follows him with a devistating knee which sends Corino down in the corner.... Credible starts to lay the boots in on Corino and Corino is in trouble.Credible hits a huge DDT on Corino and goes for the pin 1....2... KICKOUT! corino barley kicks out. Credible goes to pick Corino up, but Corino gives Credible a low blow and the ref warns Corino! Corino picks up the hurt Justin Credible and power slams him to the mat. Cornino goes to the top rope and delivers a flying elbow smash! this could be it!!!! 1......2.......KICKOUT!!! Corino, goes back to the top rope and waits for credible to get to his feet. Corino goes for a cross body block, but Credible hits Corino with a huge Super Kick as Corino is coming down!!! Corino is out!!!! CREDIBLE IS GOING FOR THE PIN!!! 1.........2............. FOOT ON THE ROPES!!! Corino put his foot on the bottom rope at the last second! Credible picks Corino up and goes for THATS INCREDIBLE!!! but Corino is able to escape! he turns credible around and gives him a kick to the midsection.... he goes for the Old School Explusion.... Russell: Wow what a match Folks! Corino was barley able to hang on for the win. We almost saw are first big upset in the tournament, but Corino was able to hang on by the skin of his teeth!

Gorgeous George!the match starts and George was very smart, because as soon as the locked up Geroge took sandman to the ground. George locked on a front face lock, and did his best to keep the wild man on the ground. George then started to work on the left ankle of the sandman. He draped it over the bottom rope and came crashing down on it. Sandman was hurt bad by this move and was unable to recover from there on. George locked on a Figure 4 leg lock, and the Sandman was just barely able to get to the ropes, but as soon as he did George pulled him back into the center of the ring and locked on the Spinning Toe Hold! Sandman could not hang on, as it was obvious that his left ankle was hurt bad! Sandman Gave up!!!! Gorgeous George is the winner!Winner: Gorgeous Geroge 7 min

Jimmy Super Fly Snuka!The match starts and lane pokes Snuka in the eyes. Snuka is blind which gives Lane the chance to deliver some Karate Kicks to the ribs. Lane executes a drop toe hold and takes snuka to the canvas. Lane goes for an Elbow drop, but Snuka moves out of the way just in time. Snuka picks lane up off the mat and delivers a huge head butt. Lane is about to go down, but Snuka grabs him by the hair and gives him yet another Head Butt. Lane is down. Snuka picks Lane up and whips him into the turnbuckle. Snuka delivers some vicious Chops. Lane's chest is beat red. Snuka jumps high in the air and delivers a huge chop to the skull of Stan Lane. Lane is down on the mat. Snuka bounces off the ropes, but Cornette grabs his leg. Snuka reaches down and pulls Cornette on to the apron! Snuka pulls Cornette into the ring! The ref is trying to restore order, but Lane grabs the Tennis Racket and swings at Snuka but Snuka grabs the Racket. Snuka tosses the Racket to the mat and the ref kicks it out of the ring. Snuka hits a huge power slam, and then delivers a falling head butt! Snuka goes to the top rope and gives the I love you sign and leaps and hits the Super Fly Splash!!!! the crowd goes wild 1...........2.............3!!!!!

Buddy Rogers!!!!The match begins and right off the bat Rogers takes Berry to the ground with a firemen's carry, Rogers locks on a front chin lock and berry works his way up to his feet. Rogers executes a perfect standing drop kick which sends berry to the canvas. Rogers lifts berry back to his feet and and delivers 3 forearm smashes that knock berry to the ground. Rogers bounces off the ropes with a Jumping Knee drop. Rogers picks Berry back up and executes a deadly Piledriver! Rogers could have gone for the pin, but instead locks on his finishing hold the Figure 4 Leg Grapevine!
