Thought I would go ahead and start posting my fed. I promote in Texas and the surrounding states with action on Tuesday nights and regular “supershows” in Houston. Currently, my reigning World champion is Giant Baba, The Road Warriors are my Tag Team Champions, and Rick Rude is the North American Champion. This week I started my semi-regular “Golden Ten” Tournament. A ten man round robin, the winner of which will receive a world title shot at the end of summer supershow. I took Hardcore and Vintage out of circulation with the release of Fever, planning to split them off into a separate fed, but those plans are on hold.
Wrestling Premier League, 07/18, Little Rock Arkansas
Harley Race Vs. Buddy Rogers Golden Ten Tournament match The show got off to an exciting start as two former World Champions squared off. This was a phenomenal match, with lots of reversals and both men hitting their finishers. Handsome Harley connected with back-to-back pile drivers and was finally able to put the Nature Boy away. Winner: Harley Race (Race is awarded 3 points for the pinfall victory.)
Johnny Valentine Vs. Larry Zbyszko Golden Ten Tournament match Valentine dominated this match from the opening bell. But when the action spilled out on to the floor Valentine’s legendary temper got the better of him. He smashed Larry Legend into the ring post, leaving the referee with no choice but to disqualify him. Winner: Larry Zbyszko (Zbyszko is awarded 2 points for the DQ victory.) Diamond Dallas Page Vs. “The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase Golden Ten Tournament match Another terrific back and forth match up. DDP scored the win with the Diamond Cutter out of nowhere. Of particular note is the fact that Dibiase’s bodyguard, Virgil, was no where to be seen during this match. Winner: Diamond Dallas Page (DDP is awarded 3 points for the pinfall victory.)
Danny Hodge Vs. Nick Bockwinkel Golden Ten Tournament match Hodge is considered something of a long shot competitor in this tournament, but for a while he had the former World Champion Bockwinkel on the defensive. Ultimately the crafty Bockwinkel would prove too much for Hodge, forcing him to submit to a Boston crab. Winner: Nick Bockwinkel (Nick is awarded 3 points for the Submission victory.)
Mil Mascaras Vs. Frank Gotch Golden Ten Tournament match In an unexpectedly short match, Mil Mascaras was disqualified less then 2 minutes in after body slamming Gotch on the concrete floor. One gets the feeling that this maybe the start of something more as both men were clearly unhappy with this result. Winner: Frank Gotch (Cotch is awarded 2 points for the DQ victory.)
It was then time for Bill Apter’s Hot Seat, featuring special guest Don Muraco. Muraco was presented by Apter with a special fan appreciation award. As Muraco was thanking the fans in Little Rock for their support, “The King of Old School” Steve Corino came out and started bad mouthing the big Hawaiian, the fans, and even Apter. He seized the plaque form Apter and spat on it. When Muraco tried to take it back, Corino flattened him by smashing the award into the top of his head. Muraco was busted open and had to be helped to the back.
The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff Vs. The Midnight Express Tag Team match The feud between these two duos continues to heat up. Tonight, power of the big Russian and his Persian partner was too much for smaller, faster Midnight Express. Despite attempts by Stan Lane to come to his add, Bobby Eaton was forced to submit to the Camel Clutch. After the match, the Iron Sheik put Eaton back in the clutch and refused to let go. Volkoff kept Lane from breaking the hold. Suddenly, ”Lover boy” Dennis Condery , followed by James E. Cornette, came charging out of the back. Though Condery’s unexpected arrival drove off the dastardly duo of Sheik and Volkoff, the damage had been done. Bobby Eaton was carried from the ring on a stretcher. Winners: The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff
Rick Rude Vs. The Boogie Woogie Man North American Title match Two weeks ago, the Boogie Woogie Man beat King Kong Bundy and “Cowboy” Bob Orton Jr. for a shot at Rick Rude’s North American Championship. Tonight just wasn’t Valiant’s night though, as the champion systematically took the challenger apart before pinning him after a clothesline. This was Rude’s 5th successful title defense. Winner: Rick Rude
The Road Warriors and Giant Baba Vs. The Terrible Turk, Sabu, and The Sandman Six Man Tag Team match This match featured the World Champion and the World Tag Team Champions teaming up to take on top challengers, Youssuf Ishmaelo and Team X respectively. Though Ishmaelo was in control early, the tide quickly turned in the champions’ favor. Once they had the advantage, the Road Warriors and Baba never looked back. The trio manhandled Team X before Baba put the Sandman out of his misery with a devastating pile driver. The celebration was short lived, for after the Road Warriors had left the ring side area, Ivan Koloff Came out of nowhere and attack Baba. With the Terrible Turk watching with malicious glee, Koloff applied the Russian bearhug to Baba, injuring the champion’s ribs. Koloff and the Turk possed triumphantly over the fallen giant as the event drew to a close. Winners: The Road Warriors and Giant Baba.

After action report The Golden Ten Tournament, which will dominate much of the late summer action in PLW got off to a great start. After the first round, DDP, Harley Race, and Nick Bockwinkel are tied for the lead with 3 points, with Larry Zbyszko and Frank Gotch close behind with 2 points. It’s still early, and any of the ten competitors could earn the World title match at Summer Bash.
Two new wrestlers, Ivan Koloff and Dennis Condrey made their debuts tonight, jumping right into some very heated rivalries. This is just the start of an influx of new talent that may also see the return of some old favorites.
Three wrestlers were injured tonight. Don Muraco will be out for 2 cards, Bobby Eaton for 7 cards, and Giant Baba for 5. Jim Cornette has announced that Dennis Condrey will team with Stan Lane until Eaton returns. Meanwhile, Baba’s allies Cousin Luke and Hacksaw Jim Duggan will be looking for some payback on the duo of Ivan Koloff and Youssuf Ishmaelo.
Though he lost this week, Ted Debiase was very impressive this week. He seems to have begun to reinvent himself, starting with dropping Virgil. The rest of the Premier League should take note.
Matches announced for next week. Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Cousin Luke Vs. Ivan Koloff and Youssuf Ishmaelo The Crusher Vs. The Boogie Woogie Man Nick Bockwinkel Vs. Larry Zbyszko Ted Dibiase Vs. Danny Hodge Buddy Rogers Vs. Mil Mascaras Harley Race Vs. Frank Gotch DDP Vs. Johnny Valentine And in the main event. . . World Tag Team Champions The Road Warriors defend against Team X (Sabu and The Sandman)

Power Rankings Week of 07/16
1) Rick Rude (up 1 spot from last week) The North American Champion easily put away another strong challenger in the perennially popular Boogie Woogie Man. Rude looks unstoppable and the belt seems to have found a permanent home.
2) The Road Warriros (up 1 spot from last week) The Tag Team champs looked impressive in their 6-man match this week. Next week they’ll defend the belts against the pesky Team X. If Hawk and Animal retain, they may warrant consideration for the top spot.
3) Giant Baba (down 2 spots from last week) The World champion, despite picking up the win this week falls from the number 1 spot. The brutal sneak attack by new comer Ivan Koloff will leave the champion out of action for 5 weeks, so expect him to drop out of the rankings completely.
4) The Terrible Turk (no change from last week) The top contender to Baba’s title looked impressive despite being on the losing side in the 6 man tag main event. With his new ally Koloff, it may only be a matter of time now before Youssuf Ishmaelo completes his quest to become World Heavyweight Champion.
5) Harley Race (up 2 spots from last week) The first match in the Golden Ten tournament was an instant classic, and Handsome Harley Race came out on top with a very impressive win over Buddy Rogers.
6) Nick Bockwinkel (no change from last week) Bockwinkel looked very impressive in his win over Hodge. This former champion is top form.
7)The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff[b/] (debut) Did you notice how easily Iron Sheik put Bobby Eaton out of action? The rest of the locker room did too. It’s not hard to imagine Sheik and Volkoff challenging The Road Warriors for the titles soon.
8) Diamond Dallas Page (debut) The former North American champ DDP returns to the Power Rankings with an impressive win over former World Champion Ted Dibiase in the first round of the Golden Ten tournament.
9) Frank Gotch (down 4 spots from last week) Gotch continues to spin his wheels, picking up another DQ victory this week.
10) Team X (no change from last week) Sandman and Sabu did not look good against the Road Warriors in the 6 man tag match this week. If they want to win the titles next week, they need to find a new approach. . . Fast.
Dropping out Buddy Rogers Rogers falls out of the Power Rankings following a tough lose to Race. Boogie Woogie Man Valiant failed to impress in his lose to Rude this week. It will be a while before the Boogie Woogie Man returns to the Power Rankings.
On the cusp Steve Corino The King of Old School continues to get the better of Don Muraco at every turn. Now if he can just do it in the ring, he’ll crack the Power Rankings for sure. Larry Zbyszko An upset victory over Johnny Valentine has Larry Legend on the verge of breaking into the Power Rankings.

PREMIER LEAGUE PREVIEW Premier League Insider
Wrestling Premier League will be in Baton Rouge tomorrow night, for what promises to be a phenomenal night of wrestling action. Here are some things to watch for. . .
BRAND-X REUNION?!? Tomorrow night Team X (The Sandman and Sabu) will receive what maybe their final shot at the Road Warriors and the Premier League Tag Team Championship. In last weeks Power Rankings, we said that the top contenders would have to make a drastic change to have a chance to end the Road Warriors record setting 4th Tag Team Championship reign. Well, Premier League Insider has learned that Team X has taken just such a step. Tomorrow night, in Baton Rouge, Team X will be accompanied at ringside by none other then they’re former manager and the mastermind behind Brand-X: Captain Lou Albano!!! Albano has been absent from WPL ever since Brand-X dissolved earlier this year. Albano, along with the other two members of Brand-X Chris Candido and Justin Credible, vanished shortly there after, that left only Sabu and Sandman (who rechristened themselves “Team X” ) active in the Premier League. With the return of Albano to Team X’s corner, many in the locker room are wondering if a full reunion of Brand-X can be far behind. The return of Albano should be particularly worrisome for The Road Warriors, as there is no one else who has enjoyed the level of success against them that Lou Albano lead teams have enjoyed. Albano lead the Dream Team to victory against the Road Warriors, ending Hawk and Animal’s first title reign; and he lead Killer Kowalski and King Kong Bundy to the gold to end the Legion of Doom’s third title reign. Will Team X make it 3 times tomorrow night?
RUDE ON TOP. Rick Rude has seemed unstoppable ever since he defeated The Destroyer for the North American title. Last week, he defeated The Boogie Woogie Man in convincing fashion, adding Valiant to a list of defeated challengers that already included Diamond Dallas Page, Cowboy Bob Orton, and Bobo Brazil. Now, the question on everyone’s lips is “who’s next”? Rude will be the guest on Bill Apter’s Hot Seat this week, so perhaps we’ll find out then.
AN INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT IN BATON ROUGE. Last week, in Little Rock, Youssuf Ishmaelo was joined by new Premier League legend Ivan Koloff in a viscous assault on World Champion, Shohei Baba. Koloff used his devastating Bear hug to put the Giant on the shelf for a month. This week, Baba’s friends Cousin Luke and Hacksaw Jim Duggan will seek revenge against the duo now being referred to as “International Incident”. Fans are eager to see the in ring début of the man who injured the champ, and that debut will come tomorrow night.

Wrestling Premier League Fight Night, 07/25, Baton Rouge Louisiana
Ted Dibiase Vs. Danny Hodge Golden Ten Tournament match The metamorphosis of Ted Dibiase continues. First, he fired Virgil, now it appears he has dropped “The Million Dollar Man” persona completely. Coming to the ring wearing black trunks and a single matching glove, Dibiase came tonight ready to fight. Danny Hodge gave Dibiase all the fight he could handle, but Dibiase prevailed in the end, pinning Hodge after a failed attempt to attack Dibiase in the corner. Winner: Ted Dibiase (Dibiase is awarded 3 points for the pinfall victory.)
Buddy Rogers Vs. Mil Mascaras Golden Ten Tournament match This match never got off the ground. Durring the ring announcements, Mascaras jumped Rogers. A wild brawl ensued, and the referee had no choice but to throw the match out. Winner: No Contest (Rogers and Mascaras are each awarded 1 point for the draw.)
Nick Bockwinkel Vs. Larry Zbyszko Golden Ten Tournament match In the words of Yogi Berra, “It's like déjà vu all over again.” Last week, Zbyszko picked up a somewhat surprising victory in the Golden Ten Tournament when Johnny Valentine was disqualified for smashing Zbyszko into the ring post. One week later and a different opponent but the same results, Larry Legend picks up the DQ win after Bockwinkel smashes him into the post out side the ring. Winner: Larry Zbyszko (Zbyszko is awarded 2 points for the DQ victory.)
Next came Bill Apter’s Hot Seat interview with the reigning North American Champion, Ravishing Rick Rude. Rude, belt slung over his shoulder, complained about the lack of worthy challengers to his title. Rude said he was bored of the likes of The Boogie Woogie Man and Cowboy Bob Orton, and that he wanted to defend his title against a new and worthy adversary. Apter interrupted the champion to inform him that he may be able get his wish sooner then expected. Apter announced that next week there would be an 8 man Gauntlet match, featuring several debuting and returning Legends. Apter then went on to suggest that Rude defend his title against the winner of the Gauntlet match. Rude quickly agreed.
Harley Race Vs. Frank Gotch Golden Ten Tournament match Harley Race and Frank Gotch. . . These two men have put on some classic matches in Premier League history, and this one ranks up there with the best of them. This match saw tremendous back and forth action with Gotch and Race both seeming on the verge of victory many times. Ultimately though, it was Harley who came out on top, picking up the pinfall victory after a piledriver. Winner: Harley Race (Race is awarded 3 points for the pinfall victory.)
The Crusher Vs. The Boogie Woogie Man After an difficult lose to Rude last week, Jimmy Valiant was trying to get back on track. He faced off against a tough opponent though in The Crusher. Eventually, the action spilled out of the ring, and The Crusher was disqualified after body slamming Boogie Woogie Man on the concrete floor. Winner: The Boogie Woogie Man
Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Cousin Luke Vs. Ivan Koloff and Youssuf Ishmaelo The duo of Koloff and the Terrible Turk, collectively known as “International Incident”, were showered by boos as they made their entrance. Last week, Koloff’s bear hug injured World Champion Giant Baba, and this week Baba’s friends Duggan and Luke were looking for a little payback. No one will ever describe this match as a technical classic, but it was a wild brawl from the opening bell. Eventually, International Incident were able to isolate and out class Cousin Luke. In the end, Koloff locked on his Russian Bear hug and forced Luke to submit. Winner: International Incident
Diamond Dallas Page Vs. Johnny Valentine Golden Ten Tournament match Last week, DDP put on an impressive showing, but this week it was all Valentine. Johnny Valentine took control from the opening bell and never looked back. He systematically took apart the man from the Jersey Shore, finally putting him away with an atomic skull crusher. DDP showed a lot of heart though, kicking out of numerous pinning predicaments. Winner: Johnny Valentine (Valentine is awarded 3 points for the pinfall victory.)
The Road Warriors Vs. Team X World Tag Team Title match For more then a month now, The Sandman and Sabu have been challenging The Road Warriors for the World Tag Team Championship. Tonight may well have been their final opportunity, and they pulled out all the stops to try and capture the gold. But in the end, not even reuniting with former Brand-X mastermind, the maker of champions, Captain Lou Albano was enough to get Team X over the hump. Albano was able to prevent Sabu from being pinned after a Doomsday Device, but wasn’t able to make the save after a second one. Hawk pinned Sabu, and the Legion of Doom retained the World Tag Team Championship in impressive fashion. Winners: The Road Warriors

Premier League Insider: After action report Five more Golden Ten Tournament matches, and after the second round, things are really starting to take shape. Race is in the lead with 6 points. Zbyszko has backed his way into second with 4 points. Then Dibiase, DDP, Valentine, and Bockwkinel in a 4-way tie for third with 3 points. Gotch has 2 points, Mil Mascaras and Buddy Rogers each have 1 point, and Danny Hodge has yet to get on the board.
Next week will see the debut of several new Legends and the return of some familiar faces in the 8 man gauntlet match. Two names that have already been announced: Curt Henning and Konnan!
No injuries to report this week, which is a relief as the Premier League has been plagued by injuries.
The new attitude Mil Mascaras has been displaying is down right disturbing. The masked legend has been more violent and sadistic then we have ever seen him, and he’s not winning over any fans, or winning any matches. We here at the Insider hope Mascaras comes to his senses.
This weekend will see a rare Saturday Slam in Shreveport Louisiana! Matches announced for Saturday Slam Ted Dibiase Vs. Larry Zbyszko DDP Vs. Danny Hodge The Road Warriors Vs. The Dream Team (non-title match) Bill Apter interviews Giant Baba Flag match Dennis Condery (with Jim Cornette and Stan Lane) Vs. The Iron Sheik (with Nikolai Volkoff) And in the main event Hacksaw Jim Duggan battles Ivan Koloff in a Dog Collar match!
Matches announced for next week Nick Bockwinkel Vs. Buddy Rogers Harley Race Vs. Mil Mascaras Johnny Valentine Vs. Frank Gotch Don Muraco and the Midnight Express (Lane & Condery) vs. Steve Corino, The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff An eight man Gauntlet match featuring Curt Henning and Konnan (card subject to change)

POWER RANKINGS Week of 7/23
1) The Road Warriors (Up one spot from last week) The Road Warriors dominated Team X in retaining the Tag Team Championship this week. The win was impressive enough to leap frog the idle Rick Rude and take the top spot in this week’s Power Rankings.
2) Rick Rude (Down one spot from last week) The North American Champion slides one spot, due equally to his in activity and the dominance of Hawk and Animal, this week. However, Rude is a fighting champion, and has declared that he will defend the North American title against which ever legend wins the 8 man gauntlet match next week.
3) The Terrible Turk (Up one spot from last week) The number one contender to the World title continues to look impressive. Now that Ivan Koloff has joined forces with him, Youssuf Ishmaelo continues to climb up the Power Rankings.
4) Harley Race (Up one spot from last week) Handsome Harley looked impressive in picking up another win in the Golden Ten Tournament. Race is in the driver’s seat, and has the World Title match at the end of summer bash in his sights.
5) Giant Baba (Down two spots from last week) The champ continues to slide down the Power Rankings while he nurses his injured ribs. His friends Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Cousin Luke tried to get some revenge on his behalf, but came up short. If Baba wants to stop his downward slide, he needs to start fighting his own battles again.
6) Ivan Koloff (Debut) In two weeks, Ivan Koloff injured Giant Baba and squashed Cousin Luke. Next, he’s got Hacksaw Jim Duggan in a dog collar match. The Russian Bear is almost single handedly making International Incident the most dominant force in the Premier League.
7) Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (No change from last week) It promises to be a busy week for this dastardly duo. Saturday, The Iron Sheik will put his national pride on the line against Dennis Condrey, then on Tuesday he and Volkoff will team up with Steve Corino in 6 man tag team action.
8) Nick Bockwinkel (down two spots from last week) Bockwinkel lost by DQ to Larry Zbyszko this week, leading to his slipping two spots. Still, Bockwinkel may be the legend with the best chance to catch up with Race in the Golden Ten tournament.
9) Johnny Valentine (Debut) Johnny Valentine put on a clinic in his win over DDP. Now that he’s on the board in the Golden Ten tournament, Valentine will look to continue to roll up the Power Rankings when he faces Frank Gotch next week.
10) Larry Zbyszko (Debut) After two rounds, Larry Legend is in second place in the Golden Ten tournament, and is the only legend besides Harley Race with two wins, all be it both by DQ. Up next in Larry Land? Ted Dibiase.
Dropping Out[/u] Frank Gotch Gotch’s unprecedented string of DQ victories came to an end with a pinfall lose to Harley Race. It also ended Gotch’s 7 week stay in the Power Rankings. Diamond Dallas Page DDP only stayed in the Power Rankings for one week. His abysmal showing against Johnny Valentine was enough to knock him out. Team X Not even the return of Captain Lou was enough to help The Sandman and Sabu defeat The Road Warriors. Nor was it enough to help them hang on to the number ten spot in the Power Rankings.
On the cusp Ted Dibiase The Million Dollar Man no more, Ted Dibiase has a new harder edge and is knocking on the door of the top ten.

Wrestling Premier League Saturday Slam, 07/29, Shreveport Louisiana
Diamond Dallas Page Vs. Danny Hodge Golden Ten Tournament match DDP made quick work of Danny Hodge, dominating the match from the opening bell. After receiving a piledriver outside the ring, Hodge couldn’t beat the referee’s count back into the ring. Winner: DDP (Page is awarded 2 points for the count out victory.)
Ted Dibiase Vs. Larry Zbyszko Golden Ten Tournament match While Larry Z. bad mouthed Gary Michael Cappetta, Dibiase hit the ring and stunned Zbyszko with a big drop kick. Dibiase and Larry Legend had a fast paced, back and forth match up with elements of both mat wrestling and brawling. In the end, Dibiase floored Zybszko with his loaded glove and picked up the three count. Handing Zybszko his first lose in the tournament. Winner: Ted Dibiase (Dibiase is awarded 3 points for the count out victory.)
The Road Warriors Vs. The Dream Team non-title match It should come as no surprise that a match up between these old rivals would be quick, brutal, and ugly. The match ended very quickly as the action spilled out on the arena floor. Brutus Beefcake got the Dream Team disqualified by ramming Hawk’s head into the steel post outside the ring. Winners: The Road Warriors
Bill Apter interviews Giant Baba The World Heavyweight Champion came out to give the fans an up date on his condition. His ribs were still visibly bandaged from Ivan Koloff’s attack two weeks ago. Just as he was starting to be interviewed though, The Terrible Turk came out and interrupted the interview. As he screamed at Apter in Turkish, Baba decked his number one contender! Ishmaelo high tailed it to the back, but Baba challenged him to a match for the World title this Tuesday. Dispite his injuries, Baba suggested that the match be held in a STEEL CAGE!!!!!
Dennis Condery (with Jim Cornette and Stan Lane) Vs. The Iron Sheik (with Nikolai Volkoff) Flag match This was a phenomenal match up! Condery, representing not only the Midnight Express but America itself, showed remarkable determination. At one point, he hit 4 Face First Leg Sweeps in a row; only to have the Iron Sheik kick out from each one! In the end, Iron Sheik used his loaded boot to put Loverboy Denise away. After the match, while the Iranian national anthem played and the Iranian flag was raised to the rafters, Sweet Stan Lane hit the ring and superkicked the Iron Sheik, possibly injuring him! Winner: The Iron Sheik
Hacksaw Jim Duggan Vs. Ivan Koloff Dog Collar match Two weeks ago, Ivan Koloff injured Giant Baba. . . This past Tuesday, he destroyed Cousin Luke. . . At Saturday Slam, he completed the trifecta, total dominating Hacksaw Jim Duggan in a brutal Dog Collar match. Koloff repeatedly used the chain that connected the two as a weapon, before finally putting Duggan away with a backbreaker. After the match, Youssuf Ishmaelo entered the ring and International Incident double teamed the downed Duggan. Koloff delivered a series of 3 flying knee drops to Hacksaw, who after the assult, had to be helped to the back. Winner: Ivan Koloff

PREMIER LEAGUE PREVIEW Premier League Insider
The Premier League will be in Enid Oklahoma this Tuesday for Fight Night, with some huge matches on the card. . .
RAGE IN THE CAGE! For months now, Youssuf Ishmaelo has been relentlessly pursuing the World Heavyweight Championship held by Shohei Baba. Two weeks ago, The Terrible Turk’s new ally, Ivan Koloff attacked and injured the Giant Baba. Despite not being fully recovered, Baba’s pride and fighting spirit refused to allow this slight to go unavenged, and he has challenged Ishmaelo to a cage match tomorrow night in Enid! Will this be the night the Turk captures the gold? Will Baba be able to overcome his injury to retain? We’ll find out at Fight Night.
GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD Eight men will participate in a gauntlet match this Tuesday, with the winner receiving a shot at Rick Rude’s North American Championship. All eight of these men are either making their debut(like Curt Henning) or are former Premier League stars returning to action(like Konnan). With stakes this high, all eight competitors are sure to give it their all. You won’t want to miss this one.
WHO’S NEXT FOR THE ROAD WARRIORS? Having bested Team X, the question on the Tag Team Champions minds are “who’s next?”. Former champs, The Dream Team, seem egger to challenge Hawk and Animal for the belts again. However, many here at the insider question weather or not Beefcake and Valentine are much of a challenge to the LOD with out Captain Lou; but we'll find out tomorrow night when they face the Road Warriors in singles action. . . And speaking of Captain Lou, the insider contacted him about his reunion with Team X. Calling Sabu and the Sandman “Bums”, Albano said that the reunion was a one-time occurrence. Sighting Team X’s inability to “get the job done”, Albano has stated that he’s already got a new team waiting in the wings to challenge for the gold. When Albano’s new duo does debut, you can bet that the “Bums” in Team X might have a thing or two to say to them.
