Bundy & Rude are 5-0 but the problem is I have a slew of hot tag-teams right now (Playboys, Redheads, Ilio/Rocca, Williams/DiBiase, etc plus Kangaroos getting into the mix). Not so much in singles, as everyone seems to be trading wins with a few exceptions.
Bockwinkel (boo!) and Sheik (another boo!) would be incredible, but I'm not an advocate of title vs title matches. In real world wrestling, when done properly, you can protect both guys. In the game, it's a lot tougher. I have an NWF rule that no one can hold two titles, so that match can't happen until someone coughs up their belt, and neither guy wants to cooperate.
Thanks for reading!

No, thank you for posting a fed that truly takes me back to better days of wrestling and actually makes me feel nostalgic. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this fed is so good because it seems so real ( in it's booking, matches and characters). Long live the NWF! When's Mosca gonna debute? I know you want to use him.

Mr. Piledriver Angelo Mosca, oh wait, that's Bob Sweetan - I always mix those guys up ... Anyway, I expect Mosca will be one of the first guys from the new set to debut, but I have the rest of 2007 already planned out, so don't expect to see the International crew until early 2008.

Mr. Piledriver Angelo Mosca, oh wait, that's Bob Sweetan - I always mix those guys up ... I know you know the difference between the two. I just thought maybe you sent the wrong pic by accident. Looks too cbubby or something, Mosca had a more sqaure lantern jaw ( ala Carter ). You called it though, he needed more lines on his face or something. Oh well, let it go for Pete's sake. ;D

***NWF BREAKING NEWS *** The Fabulous Kangaroos and manager Wild Red Berry have called out the Flying Redheads – sort of! Thrilled with their quick win over Danny Doring & Virgil in Rochester, they have challenged the Redheads to beat that team in a faster time! While the Redheads normally don’t fall for grandstanding tactics like these, they are frustrated with the Kangaroos elitist attitudes. They have accepted the challenge and will face Doring & Virgil (who aren’t thrilled about being considered fodder) next week in New Castle! In a match that NWF fans are anxious to see, it was announced that Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo would get the next tag-team title shot at the Hennigs! The popular duo had a terrible run against the Hennigs before the father-son combo won the belts, but haven’t lost since. After the heinous attack in Rochester, the fans have been clamoring for another matchup between the teams! The Hennigs weren’t concerned by the announcement, saying that they took down the NWF’s most popular team before and will do it again! In related news, as soon as Rocca & DiPaolo were announced as top contenders, Sherri Martel went berserk! The Riviera Playboys have been doing very well of late, and she demanded that they get the title shot at the Hennigs. Once Rocca & Ilio heard about this, they agreed to meet the Playboys in New Castle with the winners getting the title shot on September 7th. Lou Albano has been pressing the NWF Board to give Magnificent Muraco the next chance at The Sheik’s North American Title! Muraco has gone undefeated since losing the Steel Cage match to Jimmy Snuka in June. He’s beaten former North American champ Larry Zbyszko and has climbed back to the top of the rankings!

Card #243 – 08/31/2007 North Laurel Jr. High School Gym – New Castle, PA
The NWF is back in New Castle, PA for another big show including the debut of DDP’s new tag-team partner and perhaps the final meeting of Nick Bockwinkel and Steve “Dr. Death” Williams! Let’s get to the action…
1. Dennis Condrey b George South DDP came to the ring before the bout and announced that tag wrestler extraordinaire Dennis Condrey had agreed to be his tag team partner in his battles against King Kong Bundy & Rick Rude! While Condrey was never known as much of a fan favorite, his credentials and skills can’t be denied. Condrey made an impressive debut as he crushed South, at one point pounding him with three straight Face First Legsweeps, but not going for the cover. DDP had a little chat with Dennis to calm him down, and Condrey then used a fourth Legsweep for the win.
2. Roy Heffernan b Cousin Luke Red Berry has been appalled at the lack of wrestling acumen shown by Cousin Luke in the ring. He felt the hillbilly needed to be taught a wrestling lesson by a technically superior grappler like Heffernan. The Kangaroo mocked Luke before the bell, which turned out to be a bad idea. Luke tore into Heffernan and almost took the fall with a Hillbilly Drop. Heffernan regrouped, and with a distraction from Berry was able to take over. After clipping Luke’s knee, Heffernan went to work with his Stepover Toehold to get the win.
3. Flying Redheads b Danny Doring & Virgil Last week, the Kangaroos beat Doring & Virgil quickly, and challenged the Redheads to beat the team in a faster time. There was a clock set up that counted down the time so the fans would know the outcome. This one was all Redheads, as they simply outclassed their opponents. Red Berry showed up at ringside, seeing that the Redheads were on their way to victory in far less time than the Kangaroos. He did everything he could to help Doring & Virgil “kill the clock” but Lyons cinched in the Sleeper on Virgil and got the win with mere seconds to spare! Berry was furious as the Redheads celebrated the victory.
4. Ray Stevens b S.D. Jones Jones was ready to make a Special Delivery to the Heenan Family after last week’s tag match! He was all over Stevens the entire match until making a crucial mistake off the ropes that Stevens capitalized on. A piledriver and a Bombs Away ended the solid showing by Jones.
5. King Kong Bundy & Rick Rude b Bob & Brad Armstrong Another impressive win for Bundy & Rude over the always scrappy Armstrongs. Brad took a pounding, but survived both an Avalanche and Rude Awakening thanks to timely pin saves by Bullet Bob. Brad finally managed to tag his father, but Bob took a beating as well. A depleted Brad wanted to tag back in the ring, but his father wouldn’t make the tag and let his son suffer further damage. Bob paid for the sacrifice and was pinned by Bundy after an Avalanche. Bundy & Rude take their record to a flawless 6-0 with the win.
6. Jimmy Valiant b Ivan Koloff (No One Allowed at Ringside) The Boogie Woogie Man felt like he got screwed out of a win last week against Koloff by Albano’s constant shenanigans at ringside. Valiant was ready to go, and when Koloff was busy bad mouthing a fan when the bell rang, Boogie attacked! He smashed the Russian Bear with a running elbow and quickly locked in the Sleeper to put Koloff out and score the upset win!
7. Greg Valentine b Mad Dog Vachon After Valiant’s win in the previous match, their respective tag partners met here. Albano was around for this match, and the pressure was on Valentine to even the score. Very good match with each grappler twice surviving the other’s finisher. It was anyone’s match until Vachon missed a jumping knee into the turnbuckle. Valentine went to work on the leg and got the win when Vachon’s shoulders were counted down while he was in the Figure 4 Leglock. After a great year in singles action, Vachon has now dropped four in a row. 8. Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo cor Riviera Playboys The winner of this bout would get a title shot at Larry & Curt Hennig next week in Erie, PA. While the Playboys have done well recently, a motivated duo of Rocca & DiPaolo just took them apart in this contest. It was so one-sided that after Rocca buried both Koko and Sherri with a high risk plancha, the Playboys just decided to call it quits and walked out on the match. A dominant win that clearly sent a message to the tag champs that the NWF’s most popular combo was ready for action!
9. NWF Championship: Steve Williams b Nick Bockwinkel to win title It was the last chance for Williams, and history was against him as there had never been a title change in New Castle before. At first, it looked like another day at the office for Bockwinkel, who was in complete control. The champ got caught with a big elbow on a turnbuckle charge, and football tackled for a very close near fall that had the fans on their feet. That seemed to light a fire in Williams, who began to batter Bockwinkel with a barrage of high impact moves. He hit a backdrop driver, but Heenan jumped on the apron to distract the ref. Doc sent Heenan flying to the floor with a shoulder tackle, and started climbing the turnbuckle. As a groggy Bockwinkel got to his feet, Williams hit an uncharacteristic flying cross body! Bockwinkel rolled through the move, but Williams kept going and rolled through again to get the three count and end the 504 day title reign of the NWF’s most dominant champion! The fan favorite locker room emptied and they wound up carrying Williams around the ring on their shoulders as the new NWF Champion held the belt aloft to celebrate his historic victory!
History has been made! Nick Bockwinkel’s astounding and record setting 72 card title reign is at an end! Bockwinkel will certainly get a return match. Can he bounce back as The Sheik did to reclaim “his” title, or will Dr. Death finally prove to be the kryptonite to Bockwinkel’s Superman run at the top? This one will be hard to beat, but we’ve got a lot going on next week in Erie, PA! Here’s the current lineup:
* Danny Hodge, who took some time off after losing the tag belts to the Hennigs is back and ready for action! He’s heard all the talk by the Kangaroos and Red Berry about their technical superiority, and will put Al Costello to the test in singles action!
* Diamond Dallas Page and new partner Dennis Condrey will get their first shot at King Kong Bundy & Rick Rude! We’ll soon see how the injured DDP and Condrey work as a team!
* The Magnificent Muraco has been confirmed as The Sheik’s next challenger, and will be in singles action next week as a warm up to his title shot in two weeks!
* Mad Dog Vachon & Jimmy Valiant split singles wins against Greg Valentine & Ivan Koloff this week, but will find themselves in tag-team action next week! Koloff is especially charged up after losing to the Boogie Woogie Man in such embarrassing fashion this week!
* The Armstrongs and Riviera Playboys will be back at one another’s throats next week as the four will meet in two singles bouts!
* Your big main event will have Larry & Curt Hennig defending the NWF Tag-Team Championship against the area’s most popular team of Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo! Can Rocca & DiPaolo overcome the earlier losses to the Hennigs to win the belts, or will the “Double Axe Attack” continue their dominance?
Hang onto your hats, fans! All this and much more is seven days away in Erie!

Fantastic. I'm gladed someone finally knocked Bock off his perch. How many successful defenses did he have in 504 days? Not that I'm only asking so I can mention Bruiser Brody's 32 successful defenses of the United States title in my fed ;D

19 - you can see his entire title run in my record keeping thread in the Legends Fed News sub-board. I usually update it every few cards.
Holy crap that's a great run for Brody!

Bock has never done as well for me as he has for you but I'm hoping to change that once Buddy Rogers loses the LWF Heavyweight title. Everyone knows its satisfying to have a dominant heel as the holder of your big belt.
Brody's reign surpised me. I was hoping he'd just be a transitional champ and he'd drop the belt to Steve Williams or Rick Rude. About ten defenses into his reign I decided he was the real deal.
I haven't noticed Jim Londos in your fed results. Have you introduced him yet? He's my longest reigning LWF champ at 14 successful defenses.

I just pick guys who fit what I'm doing. Londos made it to the finals of the World League Challenge in April, but I just don't have a spot for him on the regular roster.
I've resigned myself to the fact that there may be guys we sign who never really "fit" my fed needs and won't be used.

Card #244 – 09/07/2007 Erie County Fieldhouse – Erie, PA
The NWF moves north on Route 90 and lands in Erie, PA this week! After the history making title change last week, the crowd was hoping for another one tonight! Let’s get to the action…
1. Danny Doring b Cousin Luke Doring won with the panty drop elbow to even the score between these two, as Luke got the win in their match on July 27th.
2. Al Costello cor Danny Hodge Kangaroos continue to say they’re great technical wrestlers, but still continually resort to illegal tactics. Costello kept trying to pin Hodge, but couldn’t get the job done. Red Berry whacked Hodge in the knee with his cane which resulted in the countout.
3. Diamond Dallas Page & Dennis Condrey b King Kong Bundy & Rick Rude Great start for the new pair of DDP & Condrey. They hand Bundy & Rude their first loss as Condrey plants Rude with the Face First Legsweep.
4. Magnificent Muraco b S.D. Jones Muraco faces The Sheik next week, and used S.D. as a tune up match. He dominated, including refusing to pin Jones after a Hawaiian Hammer. He won with the over the shoulder backbreaker. Muraco’s fourth straight win heading into the title match.
5. Bob Armstrong b Koko B. Ware It finally happened! After coming close to snapping on several occasions, the Bullet finally lost it! Being a Southern gentleman, he’s always refused to go after Sherri Martel, no matter what she did. But he reached his breaking point! When she interfered in this bout, Bob grabbed her and gave her a piledriver after holding her for several seconds. The crowd was thrilled, and got even happier when Armstrong used a big kneelift to pin Koko.
6. Mad Dog Vachon & Jimmy Valiant b Greg Valentine & Ivan Koloff Very good match with lots of big moves and near falls. Back and forth action the whole way. Valiant was getting pounded by Koloff but came back to pin the big Russian with a wind up elbow drop.
7. Playboy Buddy Rose dq Brad Armstrong Rose was without the injured Sherri Martel, but did have Koko at ringside. Brad was doing well until Koko interfered, which brought a fired up Bob Armstrong out of the locker room! He charged down the aisle, knocking down Koko, and jumped in the ring to attack Rose. Armstrongs did a double-team Russian Legsweep on the Playboy, resulting in the DQ. 8. Ted DiBiase b Ray Stevens First match back for DiBiase after being injured by Zbyszko & Stevens. DiBiase was a one man wrecking crew, and won with the Figure 4 Leglock after knocking Heenan off the apron.
9. NWF Tag-Team Championship: Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo b Larry & Curt Hennig to win titles
The Hennigs dominated their earlier feud with Rocca & DiPaolo, and felt like this title defense would be a cakewalk. This was a great match that set a frantic pace from the onset. Lots of finishers and near falls and really near falls. The finish saw Rocca struggle, but get big Larry in the Backbreaker! Ilio kept Curt busy, and Larry had to submit! This is the first loss for the Hennigs and a huge win for the most popular team in the NWF! The crowd went crazy and blew the roof off the Fieldhouse when Larry gave up.
History has been made for a second straight week! Rocca & DiPaolo were mobbed by fans after the win, and were celebrating in the crowd for a long time. Can Magnificent Muraco keep the title change streak going next week in Jamestown? Here’s the current lineup:
* Dennis Condrey has already made an impact, but next week he faces mammoth King Kong Bundy in singles action!
* Danny Hodge & Billy “Red” Lyons will team up to face the Fabulous Kangaroos! Once again the Kangaroos avoid facing the Flying Redheads, but the always dangerous Hodge provides some double tough competition!
* After the tag title change tonight, big Larry Hennig was not happy about losing the fall and has challenged Antonino Rocca to a singles match!
* Jimmy Valiant and Ivan Koloff will continue their heated rivalry, as they meet in a “Best of Three Falls” bout next week! They’ve traded singles wins, and Valiant looked impressive putting Koloff away again this week! Will Jimmy still be ready to Boogie Woogie after next week’s match?
* As a prelude to the huge NWF Title rematch in two weeks, the combatants will meet in tag-team action as new champion Steve Williams & Ted DiBiase meet former champ Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens in what will certainly be a heated event!
* Your big main event will see The Sheik defending the North American belt against Lou Albano’s Magnificent Muraco! At one time Albano & Farouk had combined their efforts against Bobby Heenan, but now it’s every manager for himself! Muraco has run off an impressive string of wins lately, but Sheik has an impressive streak that spans almost two years!
Batten down the hatches fans! This great action is only a week away in Jamestown!

Dennis Condrey has already made an impact, but next week he faces mammoth King Kong Bundy in singles action! Condrey in singles just doesn't work, coupled with Bundy being a beast and it's spells over quick. * Danny Hodge & Billy “Red” Lyons will team up to face the Fabulous Kangaroos! Once again the Kangaroos avoid facing the Flying Redheads, but the always dangerous Hodge provides some double tough competition! Mix and match versus one of the greatest teams in history and you get a Kangaroo victory. * After the tag title change tonight, big Larry Hennig was not happy about losing the fall and has challenged Antonino Rocca to a singles match! Rocca & Dipaolo ( Boo! ) but Rocca should school the Axe. Koloff should be dominating Valiant and starts this week. * As a prelude to the huge NWF Title rematch in two weeks, the combatants will meet in tag-team action as new champion Steve Williams & Ted DiBiase meet former champ Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens in what will certainly be a heated event! Huge main event that would sell out any arena any where. Tim.................... You know I love the NWF and you like a brother ( ugly step brother but a brother no less ) but the NWF is the KING of the boring, boring, BORING face tag-team champions. Dipaolo & Rocca, WTFE !? UGH !!!!!!! The return of Dibiase, hooray. You made Bundy and Rude lose on purpose to shut me up about giving them a title shot, didn't you? The NWF is still the best and I'm a fan forever. I wish I could run a fed half as good as you and I mean that.

The NWF is still the best and I'm a fan forever. I wish I could run a fed half as good as you and I mean that. Troublemaker? Troublemaker huh? Why couldn't you have quoted me on the above lines? NWF is notorious for boring face tag champs IMO, sorry. HMmmmmmmmmm, slap people with his feet. Let's think about this for a second. Ok that's cool if YOU'RE IN A CIRCUS SIDE SHOW but not as a face tag champ. Dipaolo & Rocca = BORING They're a little better than Yukon Eric and Danny Hodge but not by much. NWF is still the best !
