Crimson Dynamo is a masked junior heavyweight in a full crimson bodysuit with cream-colored trim who is after the World Junior Heavyweight belt held by Shawn Michaels, who had said he would defend his belt against any junior heavyweight ... "except Danny Hodge." Jim Ross remarked that "there's something awfully familiar about that man's style ... but I can't quite put my finger on it." Dynamo wrestled Buddy Rose because Rose believes that, weighing in at "a slim, trim 217 pounds", he should get a shot at Michaels' title, too. Dynamo's convincing win proved otherwise, and Dynamo and Michaels had a staredown in the aisle after the match.

This is the last Friday Night Fever. On Monday, after the Pay-Per-View, the LWF consolidates its prime-time TV into one night, moving its successful Monday night show from ESPN Classics to ABC-TV as a replacement for Monday Night Football. The new show will be called World Class Championship Wrestling, hosted by Gordon Solie and Jim Ross, and there will be a one-hour "preview" show before it on ESPN Classics called Monday Night Warmup, hosted by Mike Tenay and Larry Matysik. In addition, the weekend recap show will now be hosted by Bill Mercer.
Hopefully, I'll be able to focus more with the one show and free up time for other pursuits. It will take a few weeks for things to settle down, because I need to trim the roster, and I can't just hack guys off without some justification. I'll think of something.
