Hardcore Holly vs. Rob Van Dam[/center][/size][/b]Hardcore Holly jumps ship over to ECW where he belongs!!! His first test in the land of hardcore is #1 contender Rob Van Dam! Will this be a good way for Holly to make his mark or will he just be another stepping stone for RVD?

August 11th HOUSE SHOW – Cincinnati, OH
- The Basham Security Agency dominates Roadkill & Danny Doring, with Danny rolling up Roadkill after a failed avalanche. Paul Heyman was at ringside and looked pleased!
- Kurt Angle def. Brooklyn Brawler with the ANKLE LOCK, despite the Brawler controlling the first half of the match!
- Kevin Thorn (formerly Kevin Stone) looked awesome in a win over Little Guido Maritato. He showed up with new vampy manager Ariel and Ariel was a huge distraction at ringside!
- Straight Edge def. the blue World order with ease, with CM Punk submitting Blue Meanie with the ANACONDA VICE. Balls didn’t look 100% during the match, but he didn’t have to against the Meanie. Punk asked Balls if he was okay, but Balls said he was just a little under the weather…
- Test decimates “The Reject” Shannon Moore with the TEST DRIVE!
- In a 4-star match, Masato Tanaka def. Mike Knox with DIAMOND DUST! Both men were bloodied and beaten by the end of the match, with Knox in worse shape after a tornado DDT onto a steel chair!
- Mike Awesome def. ECW TELEVISION CHAMPION C.W. Anderson with the AWESOME BOMB in a non-title match,
- Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, and Justin Credible def. ECW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS The Gangstas and Rob Van Dam after Tommy Dreamer finished Rob Van Dam with the DREAMER DDT. All 6 men shook hands afterwards… The Big Show, Paul Heyman, and the Bashams came out and laughed and pointed at the ECW legends!

August 14th HOUSE SHOW – Eerie, PA
- Mike Awesome def. Roadkill via AWESOME BOMB
- Rene Dupree made a surprise return and def. Danny Doring with the BONNE NUIT! He proclaimed he’s the most hardcore competitor in professional wrestling today, prompting JUSTIN CREDIBLE to come out and chase him off with a Singapore Cane!!!
- The Basham Security Agency def. Full Blooded Italians after Tony Mamaluke gets drilled by DOUBLE BRAIN DAMAGE. The Bashams beat down the FBI afterwards until the Gangstas come out and the two teams brawl to the back!
- The Blue Meanie def. Mike Knox with a DDT for a huge upset! Knox is furious afterwards! Stevie Richards come out and the bWo dance and celebreate like fools! The crowd loves it!
- Kevin Thorn then comes out and decimates Stevie Richards in under a minute with the CRUCIFIXTION. No more dancing in Blueville tonight…
- Justin Credible def. Matt Striker (making his ECW debut) with a SINGAPORE CANE shot! Rene Dupree comes out and sprays Credible in the eyes with some French perfume then stomps a mudhole in Credible! Dupree raises Striker’s hand and the two leave please with themselves.
- Rob Van Dam def. “The Reject” Shannon Moore with a 5-STAR FROG SPLASH (+5)!
- In the 4 men’s first meeting in the ring since HARDCORE HEAVEN, Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman def. Straight Edge after Dreamer gets the better of Balls Mahoney and pins him after a DREAMER DRIVER. After the match The Sandman offers Balls a beer! Balls reaches for it, but CM Punk levels The Sandman with a steel chair (then Dreamer too), sending the beer flying and Punk dragging a confused Balls to the back!
- In the main event… in an ABSOLUTE FREAKIN’ WAR, NEW JACK DEF. ECW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION THE BIG SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In a non-title match, of course, but New Jack finshed off the big man with a pair of 187s, sending Show into la-la land! New Jack had six tokens at the end of the match and Show had NINE! Highlights include New Jack being choke slammed through a table and New Jack using a scalpel on Big Show’s forehead! After the match The Big Show was a bloody, unconscious heap and New Jack stood victorious on the top turnbuckle, ECW Tag Team belt in one hand and steel chair in the other! The Bashams run out, but Mustafa Saed and Kurt Angle show up and beat them down! Huge victory for ECW!

August 15th HOUSE SHOW – Pittsburgh, PA
- Test def. Rene Dupree with two TEST DRIVEs. Justin Credible comes out and wrecks Dupree with his Singapore Cane! Dupree is a mess!
- In a non-title match, ECW TELEVISION CHAMPION C.W. Anderson def. The Blue Meanie with the ANDERSON SPINEBUSTER!
- “The Reject” Shannon Moore def. Justin Credible with BOTTOMS UP (+3)!
- CM Punk def. The Sandman with the ANACONDA VICE!
- Ariel’s interference helps Kevin Thorn def. the Brooklyn Brawler with the CRUCIFIXTION! Thorn again looks very dominate!
- Balls Mahoney def. Tommy Dreamer with the NUTCRACKER SUITE! Balls wore an “Alcohol Kills!” shirt to the ring!
- ECW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS The Gangstas win a 4-way tag team non-title elimination tag team match with the order of elimination as follows: The Gangtas take out Danny Doring with 187, eliminating Roadkill and Doring; then they eliminate Full Blooded Italians after 187ing Tony Mamaluke; then Danny Basham gets 187ed and the Bashams are eliminated! The Big Show comes out afterwards and drops Mustafa Saed with a Choke Slam to the floor and then traps New Jack in the COBRA CLUTCH BACKBREAKER! Kurt Angle doesn’t see what’s going on backstage because Tommy Dreamer is talking with him!
- Kurt Angle squashes Masato Tanaka, winning with the ANGLE SLAM!

As you can see by reading the above, a HUGE week of developments in ECW land! I finally got around to playing some matches and it rocked! the next Riot should be giant (isn't it always? with new rivalries forming by the minute! Stay tuned, Mutants!

(Balls Mahoney superkicks Tommy Dreamer off the scaffolding and through a dozen tables set up in the ring below!)

Balls Mahoney is backstage... in the middle of the backstage area.... sitting in a lawn chair.

"What are you doing?!"

CM Punk walks onto the scene and looks down at Balls who seems incoherent. "Seriously all you're missing is a kiddie pool around your feet and a bottle of Jack in your hands! What's with you?!" Balls looks up: "Oh hey buddy... I'm just tired. We're not wrestling tonight, are we?" Punk throws his hands up in the air, scoffing! "Dude, we have the night off but that doesn't mean we can rest on our laurels. We need to be disciplined machines, ready to go to war at the drop of a hat!!! I've got a meeting about some possible matchups for us next week. I think we could get a shot at the tag titles soon. Get your head on straight! STRAIGHT EDGE FOR LIFE, right?!" Balls nods and waves Punk away "Yeah yeah..." Punk shakes his head and walks off. Balls sits up in his chair and waits until Punk is out of view and produces the same flask as from last week and takes a big swig! MATT STRIKER strolls behind Balls, notices the flask, and shakes his head in disgust at the beast seated before him! He doesn't say a word and walks off.

ECW TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP

C.W. Anderson (c) vs. Mike Knox[/center][/size][/b]The two went back and forth in a war! Knox hit the Spinning Reverse STO early, but Anderson kicked out! Anderson later hit the Anderson Spinebuster, but Knox wouldn't stay down! The crowd got into the match, getting behind C.W. Anderson (mostly out of a disliek of Knox) but Knox soon took control. He nailed the Spinning Reverse STo again in the center of the ring when TEST shows up! Knox shakes his head in the center of the ring and mouths some expletives! Test rushes to the ring and slides in and starts brawling with Knox! Anderson stands up and the three start fighting, with Test getting the upperhand! He hits the Test Drive on both men, eyeballs the ECW Television Title belt and walks off with a smirk on his face!

Stevie Richards and Rene Dupree are in the dressing room area. "Stevie Coup-de-Pied" Rene explains! "The Stevie Coo-de-Pay! Awesome!" Dupree shakes his head "No no no, Coup...de...Pi-ed" All of the sudden Justin Credible comes out of the nowhere and blindsides Dupree with a Singapore Cane! Stevie Richards ducks out of the scene as Credible goes to work on Dupree's back with the cane!

Paul E. is backstage with a number of newcomers to Extreme Championship Wrestling: A bruised Mike Knox, the Bashams, ECW Heavyweight Champion The Big Show, Kevin Thorn, Mike Awesome, Brooklyn Brawler, Matt Striker, and Hardcore Holly! He tells everyone that a war is coming and he needs strong fighters to show the old school ECW crew who's in charge now! Everyone seems pretty pumped, especially the Brooklyn Brawler! The Brawler says he'll join the cause, but Paul E. says "Uh... we're cool." The others talk amongst one another about making a name for themselves by taking out the old ECW crew!

DEBUT MATCH

Hardcore Holly vs. Rob Van Dam[/center][/size][/b]Holly came to the ring steel chair in hand and ready to take up Paul E.'s cause! RVD makes short work of him though, knocking him out cold with an extended series of kicks and chops! RVD gets up on the top turnbuckle and tells Paul E. to bring it on!

winner - Rob Van Dam via pinfall (martial arts combo)

The ECW Tag Team Champion Gangstas - New Jack and Mustafa Saed - are backstage and discussing their strategy tonight. Kurt Angle comes into the scene and apologizes for not being there for them at the house show. New Jack says they're cool and they know he was occupied. Angle says that if anything goes down tonight that they should know he hates Paul E. and he's with the ECW old schoolers!

TAG TEAM MATCH

Bashams Security Agency vs. Full Blooded Italians[/center][/size][/b]The Bashams are too big and strong for Mamaluke and Guido. A vicious catapult/flying bulldog combo takes out Mamaluke and the Bashams extend their winning streak and continue to climb the ranks! Paul E. comes out and touts them as the next ECW Tag Team Champions no matter what 'freaks' hold the titles after tonight!

Kevin Thorn and Ariel are with Joey Styles backstage. Styles asks Thorn where his allegiances lie, and Thorn says his only allegiances are with Ariel and the night! Thorn says he's in ECW to spread chaos and fear through the old and new ECW alike! Styles mentions his winning streak and tells the viewers to watch out for this up and comer! Oh, and Ariel is smokin'.

NON-TITLE MATCH

ECW Heavyweight Champion The Big Show vs. Masato Tanaka[/center][/size][/b]Tanaka has no answer for the strength of The Big Show and is tossed around the ring at his whim. A Cobra Clutch Backbreaker ends the match and Tanaka looks hurt! Kurt Angle comes out from the crowd and ANGLE SLAMS THE BIG SHOW! Paul E. is at ringside and is furious! Angle pulls down his straps and says he's declaring war on Paul E., The Big Show, the Bashams, and anyone else that standing between him and the ECW Heavyweight Championship! All of the sudden ROB VAN DAM comes out! He tells Angle to hold on for a minute! "The number one contender is R...V...D! And I have a shot at The Big Show next week, so you're going to have to wait your turn!" Angle wants to know where RVD stands! RVD says he's stands for ROB... VAN... DAM! Paul E. looks pleased RVD isn't siding with the old schoolers! The Big Show is recovered now and grabs Angle by the throat and choke slams him almost through the mat!

winner – The Big Show via submission (Cobra Clutch Backbreaker)

MAIN EVENT - ECW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

The Gangstas (c) vs. The Sandman & Tommy Dreamer[/b][/center]The two teams showed each other respect despite the blood flowing and bodies broken! The match became a weapons match soon enough with Dreamer using a ladder to take out The Gangstas, New Jack using a scalpel on Sandman's forehead, Dreamers barbed wire 2x4, Saed's bandana, and of course Sandman's singapore cane! No one wanted to lose and both teams exemplified teamwork. Finally The Gangstas were able to drop a very bloody Sandman with their tandem 187 and Dreamer didn't make the save! Dreamer was hurt, but didn't seem to give it his all to get in the ring according to Tazz! Styles says he didn't notice anything malicious and Tazz agreed that it was most likely due to his condition.

winner – The Gangstas (187 on The Sandman)

Rob Van Dam is still #1 contender and will face The Big Show next Riot for the gold, but Angle and Balls Mahoney are right in line waiting for their shot! Kevin Thorn shows up in the top 10 with four straight victories! He could be in line for a Television Title sho soon!

The French National Anthem - La Marseillaise - blares as the scene fades in to show Rene Dupree standing in the middle of the living room of his palatial home in Nice, France! Ornate paintings, chandeliers, and finery line the room! Dupree is wearing a white robe with the French flag stiched over the left side of his chest. Dupree has a cocky smile on his face as the music dies down...

"Hello, my name is Rene Dupree. You may remember me from my run in the WWE as one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions (thick accent) LE RESISTANCE! Well some of you MAY be surprised to find out I'm also the most extreme athlete in the world of professional wrestling! Oui, it is true. So when the Paul E. calls my house, my butler Henri answers le phone. 'Oui?' answers Henri. And the Paul E. invites me to wrestle in ECW."

Henri is in the background, leaning into the camera's view and waving.

"Monsieur Paul E. knows EXTREME when he sees it! So I sign le contract and here I am! In ECW! But alas, mon amis! There is trouble in paradise, no? The Justin Credible has - for no reason apparent to me - made it his purpose in life to try to ride mon coattails and has been attacking me at the most random of times! Just days ago I tried to educate one of ECW's losers - Le Stevie Richards - and Credible jumps on me! The crowd laughed, but the Hardcore Frenchman (thick accent) RENE DUPREE was not laughing! So next week I challenge Justin Credible to a match on Riot! And to show just how hardcore I am, it will NOT be an extreme match! That's right... nothing is more extreme in ECW than a match with rules! We'll see who truly is....
