While playing Legends, I've taken a different approach than most after recieving my copy of Rematch. I started out running an old-school territory but that soon lost it's luster for some reason and I had to think of a new way to run my LOW fed.
I got my inspiration one night during RAW.
What if I restarted using the WWE's current schedule and when the roster gets big enough have a brand split and run RAW and Smackdown! like seperate wrestling federations.
Bootlegs first appeared in January of 2004 (my game years have always been a few months behind, as you see with the start of 2006) when The Rock entered the Royal Rumble. They are prevalent throughout the federation as you will see in the previews.
It's been the best thing that has ever happened to LOW/COTG for me. I just finished the last card of 2005 and will be beginning 2006 shortly. Before I start I will post a 2006 RAW and Smackdown! roster overview and let you guys get famaliar with each wrestler on the roster. Also in the overviews I will give you guys a review of the big storylines on each show.
Hope you guys enjoy!

WWF RAW PREVIEW
RAW GM - "Cowboy" Bill Watts - Watts was the original commissioner of the WWF and when RAW was looking for a general manager, they already had the perfect man. Watts is unbiased and fair, also very popular with the fans for giving them what they want to see!
WWF CHAMPION - Harley Race - Race has consistently been a dominant figure in the WWF and on the last episode of RAW for 2005, captured his fifth WWF Title in a controversial fashion. When the champion--Sting--was busy fighting off other members of the Heenan Family, it left Hulk Hogan and Harley Race in the ring all alone and Hogan planned to take it advantage of it. However "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers threw a pair of brass knucks into the ring and Harley Race got the cover on Hulk Hogan--becoming the first man in WWF history to win the title and not pin the champion! Harley Race and the Heenan Family have been locked in a blood war with Hulk Hogan and Sting going into to two years now. Race faces many new challenges in 2006, and his fifth reign with the title may be his toughest yet.
WWF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS - The Fabulous Freebirds - Arriving in April of 2005, much to the dismay of the Road Warriors, the Freebirds have proven to be one of the most powerful institutions in the WWF's short history. Defeating the Road Warriors in a "You're Fired!" match at Survivor Series has cemented the Freebirds status as legendary. Many predict quite a year for the 'Birds in 2006, but they face a tough challenge in the Armstrong Family to start.
WWF INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION - Austin Idol - The "Universal Heartthrob" debuted famously by piledriving then WWF Intercontinental champion Jimmy Snuka through an announcer's table. Quickly defeating Snuka at his debut PPV Unforgiven, Idol and his natural enemy Jerry "The King" Lawler have been feuding over Idol's title ever since. The two had a memorable ladder match at the WWF's "Homecoming" on the USA Network. Will Lawler and Idol continue to wreck havoc on the WWF in 2006?
Hulk Hogan - Debuting at Wrestlemania '05, Hogan has yet to hold any WWF gold. While feuding with Bobby Heenan, Hogan has consistently found people intefering and costing him his chance at the gold. Forming an uneasy alliance with Sting to combat Bobby Heenan seemed like a good idea at the time, but Hogan and Sting continue to have nothing but friction. Will they be able to put differences behind them in 2006 or will they finally come to a head and we see an all out war between two of the most popular wrestlers on RAW?
Sting - Arriving in the summer of 2004, Sting has held the WWF Title twice, the Intercontinental Title once, and the Tag Team Titles. RAW's only grand slam champion has had little to prove to anyone, his only problems have been Bobby Heenan and his ally, Hulk Hogan. Heenan extended his offer for Sting to join the "Family" early in Sting's WWF career. After Sting declined it has all been downhill since. With the WWF Title the only thing on this man's mind, he is no longer the only dominant force in the WWF. But his rematch with Harley Race at New Year's Revolution will certainly be hellacious.
"Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers - The first true superheel in the WWF, Rogers has fallen a notch recently. Who can forget the vicious breaking of Bobo Brazil's leg on RAW in 2004? A former WWF champion and Cruiserweight champion, Rogers finds himself back on RAW and in the middle of a feud with Hulk Hogan. If he can defeat the Hulkster it will put him back on the map. If not, it could be the beginning of the end for this WWF Legend.
"Superstar" Billy Graham Appearing at Armageddon '04 and saying he was "Only there for spectator purposes," proved untrue after his interferance in the WWF World Heavyweight Title match. A feud with the Rock over the World Heavyweight Title ensued and ended up with Graham holding it for most of 2005. At Homecoming, Graham made the jump to RAW and was cutting a promo about his future on the new program. He was interrupted by newcomer, Dusty Rhodes. The two have warred all over the country since then, leaving no building the same. On the first episode of RAW in 2006, we will see Rhodes/Graham in a "New York Street Fight"! If that doesn't settle it, we don't know what will!
Jerry "The King" Lawler - An announcer on RAW for many years. Jerry was a loveable, goofy announcer who just wasn't in the mood to step foot in the ring. That all changed last September when Austin Idol became the Intercontinental champion. Idol had been on RAW for a few months taunting Lawler, but Lawler just dismissed it and told Idol there was no way that he was stepping in the ring at the current time. That all changed when Austin Idol took Jerry Lawler's son (Smackdown! superstar "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher) and mutilated him on live TV. That prompted a response from Lawler and what we have seen since is a man with nothing but revenge in his mind!
Rikidozan - The mastermind behind Legendary (Rikidozan/Baba/Inoki) and a former Intercontinental champion. This legend has made it clear, the embarassment of American superstars is his only goal!
Remaining Roster: Johnny Valentine Giant Baba Dusty Rhodes Bruiser Brody Ted Dibiase Antonio Inoki Curt Hennig The Crusher Austin Idol The Iron Sheik Ivan Koloff* Don Muraco “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka Larry Hennig Dan “The Beast” Severn Diamond Dallas Page Buddy Landell Missing Link Masked Superstar “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan Kamala S.D. WWF SMACKDOWN! 2006 PREVIEW
SD! GENERAL MANAGER - “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart - After winning the GM position from Eddie Marlin at Armageddon, (Hart’s relationship with the Fabulous Kangaroos ended up paying off) Smackdown! has felt the wrath of the little man using his power at every advantage. Members from Hart’s “First Family” currently hold two of the four Smackdown! titles and with their manager in a match making position, it seems that will be the way of the world for a long time.
WWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION - The Rock - The newest addition to Hart’s “First Family”, The Rock turning his back on the face was a surprise to many. Since debuting in early 2004, The Rock has always been a man who came to the arena night after night to entertain the fans. After beating “Superstar” Billy Graham at SummerSlam and, seemingly, running him off from the WWF forever The Rock was at the peak of his popularity. But last October teaming on Smackdown! with a man who had just broken away from the “First Family”, Bret Hart, The World Heavyweight champion left his partner in the ring to receive a beat down at the hands of the Fabulous Kangaroos. He’s continued to be aligned with Jimmy Hart and has been locked in a feud with SD!’s number one face since The Rock’s turn, Bret Hart. The two are scheduled for a showdown at Royal Rumble.
WWF UNITED STATES HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION - “Macho Man” Randy Savage - Randy Savage has been in bed with Jimmy Hart for quite some time, and his lengthy United States title reign is evident of that. Since the arrival of “Dr. Death” Steve Williams, things have been different! Steve Williams has promised that he will bloody Randy Savage and do unspeakable things to Elizabeth if Savage won’t give him a shot at the United States Title. Ever chance Steve Williams has had, and Steve has been close many times, has been stopped by interference from the First Family. Can Savage hang on to his title and keep the First Family’s power stronger than ever or will Steve Williams be able to take it all away?
WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS - The Midnight Express - Much like the Freebirds, you’re never sure which version of the Midnights you’re facing! Destroying all comers has been their niche, but they now face the up and coming doing of Rick Martel and Tony Garea! The two men have torn through the SD! tag rankings and will get their shot at the Express at Royal Rumble. Just which members they will be facing is undecided, but the Midnights but hold onto to their gold closely!
WWF CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION - Sabu - The madman from the Sudan continues his wild ways and has done so much to the fans delight! When Abdullah Farouk made his entrance to the WWF and aligned with the Sheik, Sabu decided he wanted no part of that and broke off from The Sheik and went his own way. He won the WWF Cruiserweight Title and has been in, no pun intended, cruise control ever since. Jimmy Hart does not like the fact that a member of his family does not hold the title and has put the “Fabulous” Jackie Fargo up to the task. Sabu has always gone to the beat of his own drum and his destruction of the First Family in recent weeks has shown that. Will Fargo be able to stop the homicidal, suicidal, genocidal maniac or will his terror continue to spread throughout the WWF?
SMACKDOWN! ROSTER: Bret “The Hitman” Hart “Nature Boy” Ric Flair The Sheik Lou Thesz Mil Mascaras Steve Corino “Macho Man” Randy Savage Shawn Michaels Rick Rude Sabu Steve Williams Gorgeous George Jackie Fargo “Hot Stuff’ Eddie Gilbert Nick Bockwinkel Freddie Blassie Ray Stevens Larry Zbyszko The Sandman “Cowboy” Bob Orton “Too Sexy” Brian Christopher Danny Hodge Chris Candido w/ Tammy Greg “The Hammer” Valentine Koko B. Ware
TAG TEAMS: The Rock N’ Roll Express Rick Martel and Tony Garea Tanaka and Fuji The Midnight Express The Fabulous Kangaroos
SMACKDOWN PPV SCHEDULE: WWF SMACKDOWN 2006 PPV SCHEDULE January 29 - Royal Rumble* (American Airlines Arena, Miami, FL) February 19 - No Way Out (1st Mariner Arena, Baltimore, MD) April 2 - Wrestlemania* (Allstate Arena, Chicago, IL) May 21 - Judgment Day (US Airways Center, Phoenix, AZ) July 23 - Great American Bash (Conseco Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN) August 20 - SummerSlam* (TD Banknorth Garden, Boston, MA) October 8 - No Mercy (RBC Center, Raleigh, NC) November 26 - Survivor Series* (Wachovia Center, Philadelphia, PA) December 17 - Armageddon (Richmond Coliseum, Richmond, VA)

I like your approach because it is extremly similar to what I have been doing for awhile now in my Legends fed (except I don't regularly use bootlegs) which is called Major League Wrestling.
My Legends fed also has a brand split which I play in real time using the WWE's schedule as a basis for organizing things. For instance, I played and posted my Backlash PPV in May, my Great American Bash PPV in July, my Summer Slam PPV a couple of weeks ago in August, and I have already announced my Unforgiven PPV for Sunday September 19. But instead of doing a No Mercy PPV, I am having one called Sin City Showdown (my fed is based in my home town of Las Vegas) on October 8. I even post my rankings in the WWE's Power 25 format.
Because it appears we are thinking somewhat in the same way, I look forward to following your fed!

WWF RAW Continental Airlines Arena East Rutherford, NJ January 2, 2006 RESULTS:
DARK MATCHES: Buddy Landell defeated S.D. Jones Dan “The Beast” Severn defeated Kamala
WWF RAW LIVE ON THE USA NETWORK (Announcing team: Jim Ross and Mike Tenay, Interview: “Mean” Gene Okerland, Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta)
The show begins with a video package chronicling the history between “Superstar” Billy Graham and Dusty Rhodes. It starts with Rhodes’ interruption at Homecoming, to Billy Graham hanging Dusty with a bull rope, Dusty costing Graham his match against Sting, the unforgettable Texas Death Match at Survivor Series, Dusty’s hilarious promo about Graham’s possible homosexuality, Graham busting Dusty open and rubbing salt in the wound, Graham’s promo about Dusty’s “humble roots” not being able to understand greatness, Dusty’s great, intense interview with Bill Apter about coming from nothing and Billy Graham being everything he detested growing up. The final shot is Graham hitting Dusty with a chair last week and watching The East-West Connection beat him down as he laughed and called the shots from the top rope.
Opening video package.
The show begins with “Badstreet U.S.A.” already well under way and all four members of the Freebirds in the ring dancing around getting ready for their match against The Flying Redheads. Once Bastien and Lyons make their way into the ring, it looks like Hayes and Gordy will be the two members competing tonight, Garvin, Buddy Roberts, and Precious go outside the ring to watch the action Just then an official comes from the back and gives word to Gary Michael Cappetta who then makes the following announcement:
“Ladies and gentlemen, word has just been given to me that all members of the Freebirds NOT competing in the match should immediately make their way to the dressing room or will RAW GM Bill Watts will strip them of the Tag Team Titles I have also been informed that Buddy Roberts will be in action in this ring tonight....against “Bullet” Bob Armstrong ”
(After the announcement The Freebirds go wild and begin their histrionics and pleading with Cappetta. Raw goes to commercial with Jim Ross saying, “Give us a moment to sort this mess out, we’ll be right back ”)
NON-TITLE MATCH WWF World Tag Team champions The Fabulous Freebirds (Hayes/Gordy) defeated The Flying Redheads - The Redheads got off to a good start but the Tag Team champions hang on and win another match They get prepared to face The Armstrongs on Sunday. After the match Hayes with his arm around Gordy got into the camera and started yelling, “You can’t get rid of us, Watts You never will be able to ” If they lose to Bob and Brad on Sunday the Freebirds will be gone from RAW.
After the match, we get footage of Dusty Rhodes entering the building in a very quiet, solemn mood. Ross and Tenay play this up as the biggest match of Rhodes’ career
-ADVERT-
When we return “Mean” Gene Okerland is standing backstage with Jerry “The King” Lawler. Gene asks Lawler what his emotions are heading into Sunday’s Memphis Steel Cage Match against WWF Intercontinental champion Austin Idol. Lawler responds with this:
“You know, Gene, I sat in that announcers booth for many years watching all the great stars of the WWF compete. I saw some guys do things that I personally would never do, but I knew why they did them. But with Austin Idol, I don’t know what kind of score he wants to settle, what his problem with me is, but I can make one promise. You see, Idol. There are a few things you don’t mess with in a man’s life and one is family. When you brutally beat my son you crossed a line and this Sunday in a match of my speciality, the Memphis Steel Cage Match, you will finally get what’s been coming to you. You’ve weaseled your way into a win before, but this time, locked inside that cage there is no way out, big man Your little title is a perk this Sunday, Idol. Because I’m going in there with one intention and that, that Austin Idol, is to destroy you ”
After Lawler’s promo we see The Wild Samoans with Capt. Lou Albano in the ring, getting ready for their match against the Killer Bees. Ross and Tenay begin talking about their beef with the East-West Connection and the No count-out, no disqualification match this Sunday at New Year’s Revolution.
The Wild Samoans w/ Capt. Lou Albano defeated The Killer Bees - Good match. The Samoans keep moving up in the tag rankings, their biggest test so far comes this Sunday against the East-West Connection. The announcers kept pushing this fact, and the fact that neither Ventura nor Adonis were in the building tonight to avoid any problems with the street fight between Rhodes and Graham.
WWF champion Harley Race and his manager Bobby Heenan were shown coming to the ring as we faded into commercial.
-ADVERT-
As the show comes back from commercial Harley Race and Bobby Heenan are standing in the ring, Harley Race is arrogantly shining his newly won WWF Title. There is extreme heat coming from the crowd towards the two men in the ring and a noticeable “You screwed Sting ” chant is coming from the New Jersey fans. Harley grabs the microphone and goes to speak, but soaks in the crowd’s chanting a little more as he smirks and begins to speak.
“Listen up, New Jersey Last week you saw why I’m now a five-time WWF champion. You know why that is? Because I take advantage of every situation When I saw Hogan down on the mat, I crawled over and threw my arm on him and won the WWF Title That’s the difference between me and every single of you losers. I know when to take advantage, I know when to seize the moment and lay back, it’s why I’m the greatest wrestler in the WWF and a five-time champion But my accomplishments are nothing right now, I have a simple request for the Stinger.”
After Race’s mocking tone of Sting’s nickname he gets more heat from the crowd, causing Heenan to play the crowd.
“Stinger if you’re in the back, why don’t you come on out here and take out all that anger on me, big man ”
With that, RAW GM Bill Watts makes his way out to the ring and starts to laugh at Harley Race before he begins to talk.
“You better shut your mouth right now, Race And Heenan before you begin to say anything you better think twice because I’ll have your weasel butt hauled out of this arena faster than you can think, baby Now Harley. Before you came out here, I addressed you and told you that encouraging any kind of altercation between you and Sting would cause big problems for yourself. I don’t use my words lightly and this is no special occasion, Harley. You came out and offered Sting the opportunity to come out here and lose his rematch by attacking you. Luckily I was nearby and able to stop this nonsense, but that doesn’t mean you won’t face the repercussions for your actions Because of your big mouth and the little weasel’s “big plans”, I’m gonna add a stipulation to your match at New Year’s Revolution. You see you’ll be facing Sting in a steel structure, some might call it Hell....others call it.....HELL IN A CELL ”
After Watts’ announcement, Bobby Heenan went nuts He started kicking the ring ropes and Watts just walked right back to the dressing room. Harley Race began to grasp his title belt even more so than before. The stakes have certainly changed now
-ADVERT-
When we return from commercial break Jim Ross informs us that both Harley Race and Sting have been removed from the building to avoid any confrontation before Sunday’s match.
Don Muraco defeated Diamond Dallas Page after “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig interfered - JR and Tenay discussed how DDP is always left out of the Hogan/Sting alliance but he has been a fighting third member against the Heenan Family since his arrival in the WWF. He almost had this match won until Hennig interfered, distracting the ref, allowing Muraco to attack an unsuspecting DDP. Hennig and DDP are set for a show down on Sunday, and it’s one you don’t want to miss!
After the match, “Mean” Gene Okerland tries to grab a word with “Superstar” Billy Graham concerning his match tonight. The usually talkative Graham just walked right past Gene.
-ADVERT-
“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan is getting ready for an interview with Okerland when Nikita Breznikov walks up to Duggan.
“Duggan, you come out here with usual ‘USA! USA! USA!’ propaganda, no more! Because this Sunday, Duggan, this Sunday you will face the greatest power this federation will have ever seen...THE RUSSIAN MONSTER! IVAN KOLOFF! Get ready, Duggan. Because your career is on limited time.”
We go back to Jim Ross and Mike Tenay who are sitting by ringside and tell us that up next is Rikidozan vs. Bruiser Brody. JR gives us a rundown of Legendary’s turn on Brody, calling him a useless “gaijin”. Brody has been on a war path ever since and on Sunday, his team of Kamala and The Crusher will help him go into battle to humble the Japanese legends. But tonight in New Jersey we will see the leaders of both groups in one-on-one action!
Bruiser Brody vs. Rikidozan - No Contest - Brody makes his way to the ring which is curiously surrounded by Japanese photographers. The media usually does not cover a match of Rikidozan’s unless it’s very high profile. We find out why they were there when Inoki and Baba come out of disguise and the three members of Legendary have Brody cornered. A beat down ensues as the photographers guard the ring from anyone coming in. Legendary tries to snap the legs off of Brody and when they leave, a crew of EMT members have to help Brody out of the ring.
-ADVERT-
When RAW returns, the sounds of “Real American” are already blaring over the speakers as The Missing Link awaits his opponent inside the ring. We also find out that “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers has joined JR and Tenay at the commentary booth.
Hulk Hogan defeated The Missing Link w/ Bobby “The Brain” Heenan - Throughout the entire match Buddy Rogers was trashing Hulk Hogan talking about breaking his oversized legs this Sunday! After Hogan disposed of Link, he came over to the announcers table and began waving his finger in the face of Buddy Rogers. Rogers just gave his cocky smile and assured Tenay and Jim Ross that he would take care of Hogan this Sunday in Albany, New York.
JR reminded us that when we return we will see Bob Armstrong get his hands on Buddy Roberts!
-ADVERT-
“Bullet” Bob Armstrong defeated Buddy Roberts Jim Ross played up the fact that this will be the last time on RAW for one of these men as the losing team in the WWF World Tag Team Title match on Sunday must leave RAW for good. Armstrong wins the match decisively and then grabs a microphone as Roberts is retreating up the ramp and tells him that he better enjoy cowering away one last time because after this Sunday, he’ll never be on RAW again!
Ross and Tenay tell us to stay put because coming up next is the culmination of a feud that started when this show came back to USA, Dusty Rhodes and “Superstar” Billy Graham will go one-on-one in a “New York Street Fight” NEXT!
-ADVERT-
“Superstar” Billy Graham defeated “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes in a New York Street Fight - What a great, wild, intense brawl! Both men were busted open and every weapon imaginable, including the infamous bullrope was brought into this thing. Graham got a bloodied Rhodes to pass out in his bearhug. After the match Graham continued his assault on Dusty Rhodes with a steel chair! RAW came to an end with Graham hoisting the bloodied chair over his head, standing on the second rope, proclaiming victory.

That last night has prompted Watts to make a #1 Contender’s match for the title shot at Royal Rumble. Tonight’s match will see “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers face off against “Superstar” Billy Graham He told Hogan not to worry, that he will have a chance to fight for the title. - WWF Intercontinental champion “The Universal Heartthrob” Austin Idol is shown in a wheelchair backstage, being manned by his “temporary bodyguard” Don Muraco. Idol said that last night showed what a monster Jerry Lawler is and to allow a man like that in the WWF is irresponsible and every one’s part. Idol said his biggest goal is to end Lawler’s stay in the WWF as an announcer and a wrestler. Watts, the busy man that he always is, makes his way up to Idol. He tells him that there is only one way to settle this feud. There is only way to resolve all this hatred. At Wrestlemania on April 2 in Chicago, we will have a steel cage match between Idol and Lawler. But not just any steel cage match. Barbed wire will be wrapped along the inside of the cage The winner gets to stay on RAW, but the loser will be given to Smackdown And Muraco better let go of that wheelchair because he will face The King in a one-on-one contest tonight
