- The two giants hammer each other with forearms and chops
- Giant Baba is hit with a clothesline
- Baba out of nowhere takes Baker down with a Baba Chop, and takes the pin

Frank Gotch vs. Johnny Valentine
- Gotch started out strong, but Valentine fought back
- Axe-Handle into the corner by Valentine
- Gotch is whipped into the ropes….clothesline….ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER, but Gotch kicks out
- Valentine locks Gotch in an abdominal stretch and keeps the hold locked on…Gotch submits!!

Jimmy Snuka vs. Iron Sheik
- Iron Sheik tries to attack at the bell, but Snuka is ready
- Sheik runs into a boot in the corner
- Snuka runs into a boot, then Sheik locks on the CAMEL CLUTCH
- To the outside…Sheik runs Snuka into the ring post….then into the table
- Back inside, Snuka fights back after a leap from and a chop
- Snuka unloads a barrage of offense
- Sheik is sent into the buckles….but Snuka eats boot
- Sheik sets up with the loaded boot
- Sheik locks on the CAMEL CLUTCH again, forcing Snuka to submit

Bobo Brazil vs. Ted DiBiase
- Bobo Brazil takes the fight to DiBiase, pounding him into the mat
- DiBiase isn’t even able to take his ring attire off, as Brazil nails the COCO BUTT
- Brazil misses a drop kick, and DiBiase quickly nails a falling fist drop, then tosses Brazil to the outside
- DiBiase climbs the buckles, but is powerslammed to the mat, allowing Brazil to take the pin

The Destroyer vs. Nick Bockwinkel
- Good wrestling match at the start, as both men trade hold for hold
- Bockwinkel is nailed by 3 consecutive sensational suplexes
- Bockwinkel counters out, and hits several hip tosses
- Destroyer blocks a hip toss, and locks on an intelligent sleeper hold
- Bockwinkel lands a back suplex, but only gets a 1 count
- Both men trade holds into the ropes
- Destroyer locks in a sensational suplex…and the pinfall

The Sandman vs. “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers
- Buddy Rogers barely breaks a sweat, ending the match via several well-aimed dropkicks

“Cowboy” Dick Hutton vs. Harley Race
- Hutton had some good offense, but goes down to a diving headbutt

Wladek Kowalski vs. Gorgeous George
- Kowalski basically tossed George around the ring, finally locking on the CLAW HOLD, forcing George to submit

- Baker nails Gotch with a kick to the gut
- Gotch wrestles back, and takes the win via a rolling kneebar

Jimmy Snuka vs. Ted DiBiase
- Snuka dominates the early parts of the match
- Snuka nails a picture perfect SUPERFLY LEAP….DiBiase powers out of the pin attempt
- A flying headbutt, but DiBiase kicks out again
- Snuka keeps the pace…powerslam….1…2…NO, DiBiase just barely kicks out
- Snuka climbs the buckles again…SUPERFLY LEAP!!! 1..2...3NO!!! DiBiase AGAIN kicks out just before the 3…David Crockett: “How long can DiBiase keep this up!!”
- Finally, a powerslam puts DiBiase’s shoulders to the mat long enough for the 3 count

Nick Bockwinkel vs. The Sandman
- Bockwinkel simply outwrestles Sandman, forcing him to tap out to the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK

- Good match, as Gorgeous George just wouldn’t be denied
- Gorgeous George forced Hutton to tap out to the SPINNING TOE HOLD

- After a long, grueling match (Rogers had 7 tokens), Rogers pins Destroyer after an atomic drop

Bobo Brazil vs. Iron Sheik
- Sheik spits at Brazil…and that is all that Brazil needed
- Brazil hammered Sheik with COCO BUTT after COCO BUTT
- Brazil whipped Sheik into the buckles, but runs into a boot
- Sheik locks on the CAMEL CLUTCH, but Brazil gets to the ropes
- Sheik nails several suplexes, then locks on the CAMEL CLUTCH again
- Brazil reaches the ropes
- Brazil fires back with a big hammer punch
- Brazil connects with another COCO BUTT for the pin

Giant Baba vs. Johnny Valentine
- Baba and Valentine hit hard and fast in the early part of the match
- Baba gains control, and hits a Russian leg sweep, followed by a NECKBREAKER DROP, but only gets a 2 count
- Baba sends Valentine reeling with a Baba Chop
- Valentine tries to fight back…in the corner, he nails Baba’s chest with a big chop, but Baba shrugs it off…a Baba Chop
- Baba hits a boot to the face…then the NECKBREAKER DROP again…but Valentine kicks out again at the 2 count
- Valentine connects with a forearm bludgeon
- Valentine locks on an abdominal stretch….then the ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER, but only takes a 2 count

- Snuka makes short work of Destroyer, putting him away with the SUPERFLY LEAP

Iron Sheik vs. Nick Bockwinkel
- Sheik nearly won the match, after kicking Bockwinkel with the loaded boot twice in a row
- Sheik then locked on the CAMEL CLUTCH, but Bockwinkel made it to the ropes
- Bockwinkel fought back, then locked on the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK for the submission

Gorgeous George vs. Johnny Valentine
- Valentine never really had much trouble with George, finally putting him away with the ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER

Buddy Rogers wins the first NWA World Championship

Buddy Rogers bested 15 other men in a grand, double elimination tournament to win the prestigious NWA World Heavyweight Championship. In the Tournament Finals, Rogers met up with Giant Baba inside a cage. Rogers had already defeated Baba in the winners bracket in the semifinals. This time, Baba nearly won the match, the title, and the tournament. But, Rogers held strong, and won the big match after clobbering Baba with a chain he pulled from his trunks. A rematch is in the works….

The Tag Teams arrive in the NWA

The NWA World Tag Team Title Tournament has been announced, and no less than 16 tag teams have signed up for the quest. This should be a great tournament, as the tag teams that will be involved are legendary…along with some unexpected teams. The following is a list of the first round brackets:

NWA Special Report

The NWA announced that the proposed 16-Team Tournament for the NWA Tag Team Titles, has been nixed. Instead of 16 teams, the NWA will only hold an 8-Team Tournament. NWA Commissioner Christopher Paul stated: “This will set the tone to a more personal, on-the-level, action. The NWA doesn’t need an overly large roster…we just need to put on good shows. And with a smaller tournament to crown the World Tag Team Champions, I believe we will indeed accomplish that task”

- Bagwell is able to make the defensive tag

- Beefcake charges in, with a running stomp, running clothesline, and a smash with the studded armband, sending Sheik to the floor

- Sheik catches Beefcake outside and runs him into the steel post

- Volkoff dives off the 2nd buckle with a knee drop

- The first fall ended very quickly, as Bagwell nailed a scoop slam and took the first fall over Johnny Valiant

- The 2nd Fall went back and forth for awhile

- Bagwell takes Johnny Valiant to the outside, and posts him

- But Valiant fights back, taking control of the match

- The TOP ROPE ELBOW, but Beefcake makes the save

- A double clothesline puts Bagwell to the mat

- Bagwell kicks out of the SPINNING NECKBREAKER

- Johnny Valiant chokes Bagwell with the tag rope, then takes the pin, taking the 2nd fall

- The 3rd fall starts out with Johnny Valiant pulling several dirty tricks, then tagging out to Jimmy

- Jimmy and Bagwell tumble to the outside, where Jimmy Valiant nails Bagwell with a foreign object, then tosses him back inside

Baba-Rogers on a Crash Collision Course

Buddy Rogers defeated Giant Baba twice in the 16-Man Double Elimination Tournament, winning the NWA World Title. But, it isn’t over between these two men yet. At the recent NWA World Tag Team Title Tournament, Bill Apter held his “Hot Seat” interview with Giant Baba. During the course of the interview, NWA World Champion, Buddy Rogers, interrupted. Baba challenged Rogers to put the belt up right then and there, but Rogers took a cheap shot instead, causing a brawl to break out between the two. It took several officials and even more security personnel to finally break the two up…but the damage to the Hot Seat set was done, as not a single thing was left standing. These two will meet again soon…but will the ring be enough to hold them?

The Valiants walk away with the Tag Team gold

Bobby Heenan is proud of the Valiants. The team that nobody thought would make it…not only made it to the finals, but won the World Tag Team Titles. The Valiants defeated the Road Warriors (in what was possibly the shocker of the night), then defeated Pomp & Circumstance, then…defeated Hello Ladies in the finals, 2 falls – 1 fall. The Valiants are sitting on their lofty perch right now, but they have a tough road ahead of them. They will be defending those tag team belts against a number of teams…Hello Ladies…Pomp & Circumstance…not to mention an irate Hawk & Animal…the question is, how long with the “boys from New York City” be able to hold out as the Champs?

The Towering Inferno

After Wladek Kowalski & Don Leo Jonathan lost their match to Pomp & Circumstance (after Buddy Rose practically knocked Jonathan out with a roll of quarters), Kowalski is rumored to have DESTROYED the dressing room in a fit of rage. “It just isn’t like him” tag team partner, Jonathan said after the show. “For Wladek to go crazy like that…there was something in his eyes…something that I don’t want to see again…” Just what happened, though? And will this be only an isolated incident?

The Heenan Family: Destined to Dominate?

Bobby Heenan, one of the most hated managers in the sport of wrestling, has joined together a stable of men who want nothing more than to dominate. Who are these men, other than NWA World Tag Team Champions, The Valiants? Harley Race & Nick Bockwinkel are the two men to join up with Heenan. Heenan says it is only a matter of time that the World Title Belt is in his Family’s hands, “by hook or by crook”.

Buddy Rogers has put out a statement that he is looking to hire a manager. There are plenty of managers around that would love to manage the World Champion…but who will Rogers choose? Bobby Heenan would seem to be the smart one…but maybe not the safest one. Heenan has 2 other men in his stable that are looking to become the World Champion at whatever cost it may be. What about Jim Cornette? Cornette seems more involved in the tag team aspect of wrestling. What about Lou Albano? Albano is a master of tag teams, also…but Albano is also a VERY ruthless man. And managing a World Champion would bring power and prestige…There are plenty of them to choose from…but who will Rogers choose?

- Crockett & Schiavone welcomes everyone to the very first NWA WCW show, live on the SuperStation, WLTV!!

- Tonight, the NWA World Tag Team Champions, The Valiants, will be guests on Bill Apter’s, The Hot Seat

- Also, tonight, there will be a US Champion crowned…Bobo Brazil and Harley Race will start off the show in a qualifying match, with the winner facing Johnny Valentine later…with the winner of that match being awarded the United States Championship

- Crockett & Schiavone are interrupted when the NWA World Champion, “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers, walked to the announce area

- Rogers says that he is the reason the fans are tuning in today…he is the reason the fans attend the arenas…and he is the reason every other wrestler in the back is jealous…because Buddy Rogers is the World Champion…

- Rogers: “Look and weep…I own the NWA…I own every wrestler in this promotion…I am the NWA World Wrestling Champion…the greatest professional wrestler in the world today…Giant Baba…you are nothing but an oriental freak of nature…you are not worthy to wear this belt…For you to be able to beat me, the sun will have to stop for a day, and the moon will have to turn into blood…like I said, Baba…you are a freak of nature, and the only way to beat me, is for nature to fall down dead….”

- Crockett steers the interview to Rogers’ looking for a manager….Rogers answers that he has found the perfect associate…and that he will be revealed soon enough…



NWA United States Title Qualifying Match

Texas Death Match



Bobo Brazil vs. Harley Race w/ Bobby Heenan

- Brazil starts out with a big clothesline

- Race is staggered with a big hammer punch, followed up with a falling elbow, as Brazil dominates the opening moments of the match

- A Bobo Bodyslam, then the COCO BUTT only gets a 2 count

- Brazil continues to set the pace, locking Race in a grinding hammerlock, and then a bearhug

- Brazil sends Race to the outside, then tries to run him into the post, but Race reverses, and Brazil crashes shoulder first into the ring post

- Race then reaches under the ring, and pulls out a metal pipe…and smashes it across Brazil’s head

- Back inside, Race hits a falling hammer onto Brazil from the 2nd buckle

- Brazil counters a shoulder breaker, and locks Race in a backbreaker

- Brazil continues to wear down Race with a series of wear down holds

- A Big Hammer Punch only gets a 2 count

- Brazil nails Race with a COCO BUTT…Heenan climbs in the ring but is sent back over the ropes via a clothesline by Brazil…Brazil covers Race…but only gets a 2 count

- Race fights back and lands a flying headbutt, but only gets a 2 count

- A flying clothesline from the 2nd buckle takes Brazil to the mat

- Race locks on the Indian Deathlock, then plants Brazil with the PILEDRIVER!! 1…2…3NO!! Brazil gets his foot on the ropes!!

- Race plants another PILEDRIVER, and this time gets the pin…but Brazil’s foot was on the ropes, but the referee didn’t see it…



Post-Match Interview with Harley Race



- Harley Race and Bobby Heenan makes their way to the announce area for a post match interview

- Heenan cuts in before the interview starts: “Harley Race, the next NWA US Champion, will go through the motions later on, when he steps into the ring against Johnny Valentine. Let me just say this, though…Valentine, we have no problem with you. You are a tough guy. You are a good looking guy. You are worthy to be a champion…but you are not going to be able to beat this guy right here, ‘Handsome’ Harley Race…”

- Race speaks: “You know what I am going to do in just a little bit, Davey…I am going to step back inside that ring right over there, and I am going to defeat…1…2…3…one of the toughest men in this sport. I am going to climb those ring stairs, and I am going win. You know why, Davey? Because I am a winner. I am a Champion. Bobby Heenan…he is a winner. Nick Bockwinkel…he is a winner. Johnny Valentine…you are just a big fish in a small pond, friend…but you are about to meet the bigger fish…me…”



Interview with Kowalski & Jonathan



- Wladek Kowalski & Don Leo Jonathan make there way to the announce podium for an interview

- Kowalski looks like a caged animal, as he keeps pacing back and forth behind Crockett & Jonathan

- Jonathan says he will speak for Kowalski, since Kowalski is too furious for words right now

- Jonathan says that tonight, he and Kowalski will get Gorgeous George & Buddy Rose back inside the ring…and it will not be a pretty sight for those two girls….



Greg “The Hammer” Valentine w/ Johnny Valentine vs. S.D. Jones

- Valentine hammers Jones all over the ring with hard offensive moves

- Jones, finally, in the corner fights back, and nails a suplex and takes a near fall

- A HEADBUTT gets another near fall

- Valentine rolls outside the ring…Jones follows…but Valentine runs Jones into the steel post

- Back inside, Valentine plants Jones with a piledriver…then a falling elbow from the 2nd buckle, but only gets a 2 count

- Valentine tosses Jones to the outside…where Johnny Valentine nails a big clothesline, then rolls Jones back inside

- Valentine whips Jones into the ropes…but Jones kicks Valentine on the rebound…the Philly shuffle and KO punch!

- Valentine fights back

- Valentine hammers the chest of Jones with some hard Valentine chops…then locks on the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK, forcing Jones to tap out



Post Match Interview with The Valentines



- Crockett asks Johnny about the match later vs. Harley Race

- Johnny says that Heenan and Race are all talk, with nothing to back it up with

- The Valentines are the legacy in the NWA….they are the “Wrestling Family”…and as such, Johnny will put Race to the mat

- Greg assures Johnny that he will have his back, and that he will make sure that Johnny wins the US title later tonight



King Kong Bundy vs. The Sandman

- Bundy starts the match strong, tossing Sandman around like a rag doll

- Bundy hits 5 consecutive elbow drops off the ropes

- Sandman starts fighting back, and hits a series of offense, finally planting Bundy with the HARDCORE DDT

- A 2nd HARDCORE DDT puts Bundy down for the 3 count



Interview with…The Road Warriors



- “AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH AAAAAA RRRRRRUUUUUUSSSSSHHHHHH!!!!!!”

- Out to the announce area walk the intimidating Road Warriors, with Paul Ellering alongside

- Animal: “We are not out here to answer stinking questions…we make the statements, and everybody else listens!! Tonight, we have a match against the Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff…I don’t care who they are, Hawk and Animal are gonna bust some heads, and kick some @$$!! Tell ‘em Hawk!!”

- Hawk: “Well, Davey…it is a wonderful day to be a Road Warrior. We get to come out to the ring, and kick a couple of foreigner’s asses, and get paid for it. Hell, I would do it for free!! Tell ‘em Paul!!”

- Ellering: “Have you ever seen such massiveness standing in one area? Have you ever felt the intensity, the deadly feeling that happens just before lightening strikes and sets the house on fire? Well, Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff…tonight, you will. And Valiants….the Road Warriors are headed your way....”



Koko B. Ware vs. The Destroyer

- Destroyer starts out mat wrestling

- Destroyer hits a bombs away kneedrop, but only gets a 2 count

- Destroyer climbs the buckles, but misses another knee drop

- Koko hits some offense, but Destroyer turns things around, locks on the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK, and takes the win via submission



A Video Montage of…The Islanders



- A video montage of Albano’s new tag team, the Islanders (Don Muraco & Jimmy Snuka) is shown

- The Islanders DESTROY a local talent tag team with Muraco nailing a face first slam, immediately followed up with Snuka nailing the SUPERFLY LEAP

- After the video, Crockett says: “These guys are awesome…”



The Islanders (Don Muraco & Jimmy Snuka) w/ Capt. Lou Albano vs. Simple Men (Red Bastien & D. Hutton)

- Muraco leads vs. Bastien

- Bastien counters an opening barrage by Muraco, and sets the pace

- Tag out to Hutton

- Muraco and Hutton trade holds

- Snuka is tagged in…leap frog and chop, but only gets a 1 count

- Snuka nails the SUPERFLY LEAP and takes the pinfall

- The Islanders toss both Bastien and Hutton to the floor, after a brief beatdown



Bill Apter’s The Hot Seat with…NWA World Tag Team Champions, The Valiants



- Before the interview even starts, the Valiants start threatening Apter

- They complain that they are always rated as two of the most hated wrestlers in the PWI magazine ratings

- As they start to rough up Apter, out to the set runs Beefcake & Bagwell, chasing the Valiants away from the set



Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) w/ Paul Ellering vs. Cold War (Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff) w/ Nikita Breznikov

- Iron Sheik and Volkoff demands that the fans be quiet while Volkoff sings the Soviet National Anthem

- The Road Warriors storm the ring!!

- Hawk tosses Volkoff to the outside

- Animal and Hawk nails Iron Sheik with a spike piledriver, then a double clothesline….then another spike piledriver, then a camel clutch…another double clothesline….then another spike piledriver for the pin



Pomp & Circumstance (Gorgeous George & Buddy Rose) w/ Cherie Dupre vs. Wladek Kowalski & Don Leo Jonathan

- Buddy Rose leads vs. Jonathan

- Jonathan hammers Rose with hard offensive moves

- Kowalski tags in and tosses Rose to the outside

- Kowalski follows him out, but is run into the ring post, then Rose grabs a chair and smashes Kowalski with the chair, causing a DQ



Post Match Interview



- After Kowalski recovers from Rose hitting him several times with a chair, Kowalski & Jonathan make their way to the announce area for a post match interview

- Kowalski is really looking angry, as he has the chair that was used as a weapon

- Kowalski grabs the mic from Crockett, and shouts out a challenge to Gorgeous George & Buddy Rose…next week…Texas Death Match….he then throws the chair to the ground, and he and Jonathan walk away



Training Video



- A training video of Frank Gotch is shown

- In the video, Gotch is practicing locking on the GOTCH TOEHOLD onto a log…in the process, several legs are shattered

- As the video cuts off, Crockett is saying that Bockwinkel had better be ready for Gotch…



Nick Bockwinkel w/ Bobby Heenan vs. Frank “The Grappler” Gotch

- Bockwinkel dominates Gotch in the early part of the match

- Bockwinkel locks Gotch in the BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER, and holds it for several moments, but Gotch reaches the ropes

- Bockwinkel whips Gotch into the ropes, but on the rebound, Gotch hooks a small package, but Bockwinkel kicks out just before the 3 count

- As Bockwinkel jumps to his feet, Gotch lays him out with a forearm uppercut, but again, only a 2 count

- Gotch whips Bockwinkel into the buckles, but misses a turnbuckle charge, crashing into the buckles

- Bockwinkel flips Gotch to the outside, follows him out, and slams him face-first into the mat

- Back inside, Bockwinkel locks on the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK, but Gotch still reaches the rope to break the hold

- Bockwinkel yanks Gotch from the ropes, and locks on the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK again…but again, Gotch reaches the ropes

- Bockwinkel whips Gotch into the ropes…but Gotch hooks Bockwinkel in a suplex and nails Bockwinkel with a suplex

- Bockwinkel regains control, whips Gotch into the ropes…and locks on an abdominal stretch…and forces Gotch to submit

- After the match, Harley Race joins Bockwinkel in the ring, and both men start to beat down Gotch. After several moments of the vicious beatdown, officials are finally able to break it up, as Gotch leaves the ring on a stretcher



Post Match Interview



- Bockwinkel, Race & Heenan are laughing as they make their way to the announce area for an interview

- Bockwinkel says to show the replay of the beatdown…he then says that that is how Nick Bockwinkel trains as Heenan and Race continue to laugh.

- Race says that it is time for him to go and win the US title (he says this as he sarcastically yawns)

Texas Death Match



Johnny Valentine w/ Greg Valentine vs. “Handsome” Harley Race w/ Bobby Heenan & Nick Bockwinkel

- Valentine starts out strong, as a big chop to the chest puts Race to the mat

- Valentine follows up with 2 consecutive ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHERS, but isn’t able to put Race down for the pin

- Valentine whips Race into the ropes…clothesline

- Valentine just keeps punishing Race, but as he sets up for another ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER, Race counters with a boot to the face

- Race quickly plants Valentine with a PILEDRIVER, but Valentine kicks out

- Race goes to the outside, reaches under the ring, and pulls out that metal pipe again…and he blasts Valentine with the pipe!!

- Another PILEDRIVER, opening up Valentine’s forehead, but Valentine barely kicks out

- 2 swinging neckbreakers, but again, Valentine kicks out

- Race takes Valentine to the outside, and tries to run Valentine into the post, but Johnny reverses, and send Race’s head into the post…Valentine picks up the metal pipe…and lays out Race with the pipe, busting open Race’s forehead

- Back inside, Johnny sets up for the ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER….he nails it…1…2…3!!

- ***JOHNNY VALENTINE WINS THE US TITLE***



After the Match



- The referee hands Johnny Valentine the United States Title Belt

- Greg Valentine joins Johnny in the ring and in the celebration

- Out of nowhere, Greg nails Johnny with a short-arm clothesline!!

- Valentine grabs the metal pipe, and lays out Johnny with several solid blows…then straps the metal pipe to his leg…and locks on the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK!!!!

- After several moments, Johnny passes out from the FIGURE FOUR…finally, several wrestlers from the back rush out to the ring to break it up…but the damage is done….Johnny Valentine is taken away on a stretcher as the show goes off the air…

Johnny Valentine: Winning US Gold!!

Bobo Brazil & Harley Race had a tough night ahead of them. They were to wrestle in a Texas Death Match, with the winner to go on later and face off against Johnny Valentine. Race won the first match…then marched to the ring later that night for the US Title match. A tough match, as both men were bloodied by the end of it, but Johnny Valentine came out on top with the ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER.

Greg Valentine: Blood may be thicker than water, but Gold is heavier than blood!!

Greg Valentine has turned on his father…a scenario that is quite common in Professional Wrestling. But this time, Greg didn’t just turn his back on Johnny, Greg tried to cripple him also. After Johnny defeated Harley Race for the vacant US belt, Greg viciously attacked him, strapping a metal pipe (that had been used several times throughout the match) to his leg, and locked Johnny in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Several wrestlers rushed the ring to help make the save. Valentine will be injured for a couple weeks, but we are sure that Johnny has some “discipline” in line for his son, Greg.

The Valiants Message to the Fans: “Love us…or else!!”

One of the most hated tag teams in the NWA, NWA World Tag Team Champions, The Valiants, have made their statement. They have threatened everyone in the NWA. The threat? Blood, guts & pain if the fans do not start to love them. They confronted Bill Apter on the recent Hot Seat on World Championship Wrestling, asking why they are constantly voted 2 of the most hated wrestlers in the magazines rankings. Apter tried to explain, but the Valiants threatened him with harm….until Brutus Beefcake & Buff Bagwell ran out. The Valiants quickly left the ring. The statement was clear, though: “Love us…or else!!”

The Smartest Man in Wrestling vs. The Grappler: Bockwinkel looks to put Gotch out of wrestling

Bockwinkel isn’t a happy man…unless he is crippling someone. “That is what makes Bock great,” bragged stable-mate, Harley Race. “He is just a man that wants to inflict as much pain as he logically can…and then afterwards, break him in half.” After Bockwinkel defeated Frank Gotch, Bockwinkel continued his assault, along with Race. After officials were finally able to break it up, Gotch was carried from the ring on a stretcher. Gotch is sure to return, and Bockwinkel is sure to be waiting to finish what he started….

A Giant Rampage: Kowalski spends the night in the local jail

After the WCW Studio Show this past Saturday night, Kowalski went on a rampage at a local bar, destroying the bar, and injuring several people inside. It actually took a squad of policemen to subdue the giant. Jonathan, speaking for Kowalski, says it is because of the antics of Pomp & Circumstance, Gorgeous George & Buddy Rose. Kowalski has issued a direct challenge to Gorgeous George & Buddy Rose….the NWA is not happy about the out of the ring outbursts….this situation has to come to an end, soon.

- A big Royal Rumble, with the winner of the Rumble getting a shot at the NWA World Champion
- Great show tonight, but first, lets take a look at the last show…
- A video clip is shown of Johnny Valentine defeating Harley Race for the vacant NWA US Title, then being attacked by Greg Valentine…Valentine straps a metal pipe to his leg, then locks J. Valentine in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK….
- Johnny Valentine is injured because of the injury, but will be here in action next week
- Tonight, though, NWA World Tag Team Champions, the Valiants, will defend the Tag Team Titles vs. The Strip Club (Beefcake & Bagwell)…and the Main Event will be a 6-Man Tag Team Match, as NWA World Champion, Buddy Rogers, Gorgeous George & Buddy Rose will face Giant Baba, Kowalski & Jonathan

Ringside Interview w/ Greg “The Hammer” Valentine
- Valentine boasts of how he injured and chased his own father, Johnny Valentine, out of the NWA (he is carrying the metal pipe he used to injure J. Valentine)
- He goes on to say that the NWA should just award him the US title for doing the promotion the favor
- Greg says that he always knew that his dad was a coward, because if he wasn’t such a coward, then he would come out here himself and hand over the belt…but where is Johnny?
- Out from the back walks King Kong Bundy and “Big” Ox Baker
- They flank behind Valentine, while Russell takes notice of the two men
- Greg says that they are the foundations of Valentine’s stable…their tag team name: Valentine’s Massacre

The Sandman vs. Greg “The Hammer” Valentine w/ Bundy & Baker
- Sandman attacks while Valentine is taking off his robe
- Both men trade punches and chops
- Valentine takes control after a series of hard chops, then a falling elbow slam
- Valentine lands a neckbreaker, then locks on the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK, forcing Sandman to tap
- Valentine lets the hold go, but orders Bundy to AVALANCHE Sandman, while Valentine straps the metal pipe to his leg…
- Sandman is laid out in the center of the ring, as Bundy lands a splash…
- Greg locks on the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK….Out to the ring rushes Johnny Valentine…and HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN!!!
- Duggan clears the ring with his 2x4, while Johnny Valentine chases Greg out of the ring!!

Post-Match Interview w/ US Champ, Johnny Valentine
- Johnny Valentine makes his way over to the announce table for a few words
- Valentine: “Greg!! You started something that I don’t think you can finish…You got 2 big bad dudes standing behind you, so you think you can just do whatever you want? It takes more than a couple of out of shape bald headed freaks to become champion. Especially when the title you want is around MY waist!! I am going to be here next week…and you will get your chance. You and me…in that ring….but it won’t be a title shot…it will be your chance to earn my respect…But you and I know already what is going to happen…I am gonna redden your tail like we was back home, and we were behind the tool shed after you failed another gym class….”
- Duggan walks up (he was helping Sandman onto a stretcher): “Listen up TOUGH GUYS!! You wanna go around trying to hurt people!! Well, Hacksaw is here now, so try and hurt me!!” As Hacksaw and J. Valentine walk away, Hacksaw starts chanting: “USA!! USA!! USA!!”

Ted DiBiase w/ Virgil vs. The Destroyer
- Destroyer starts the match out strong, with a string of offense that sends DiBiase reeling
- DiBiase fights back, but quickly loses control again, as Destroyer sends DiBiase crashing into the buckles
- DiBiase fights back again, and whips Destroyer into the buckles, but misses a turnbuckle charge…Destroyer rolls DiBiase up for the pin, but DiBiase kicks out before the 3
- Destroyer is setting up for the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK, but Virgil jumps into the ring….and is sent over the top rope and to the floor by Destroyer
- This allows DiBiase to recover…a swinging neckbreaker, followed up with a vertical suplex
- DiBiase locks Destroyer in the MILLION DOLLAR DREAM
- Destroyer is fighting out of it, as both men tumble to the outside…but DiBiase still has the MILLION DOLLAR DREAM locked on…Destroyer is OUT…DiBiase rolls back inside to win the match by countout

The Islanders (Don Muraco & Jimmy Snuka) w/ Capt. Lou Albano vs. Simple Men (Red Bastien & D. Hutton)
- The Islanders storm the ring, tossing Hutton out of the ring, and zeroing in on Bastien
- Muraco connects with the Asiatic Spike
- Muraco whips Bastien into the ropes, but on the rebound, Bastien hits a flying cross body, then the ATOMIC DROP, but only gets a 2 count
- Bastien hooks a flying leg scissors, then tags out to Hutton
- Hutton is taken down with the Asiatic Spike
- Muraco lands with a falling elbow hammer from the 2nd buckle
- The tag out to Snuka
- Snuka tosses Hutton to the outside, then runs Hutton into the ring announcers table
- Snuka lands a flying headbutt, then tags out to Muraco
- Muraco plants Hutton with the HAWIIAN HAMMER, but Hutton kicks out right before the 3 count
- The tag out to Snuka
- Snuka tosses Hutton to the outside, followed him out….a wild brawl erupted between all 4 men…leaving the referee no other choice but to call for the double DQ

The Road Warriors w/ Paul Ellering vs. Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff w/ Nikita Breznikov
- Nikolai Volkoff shouted at the fans to be quiet while he sang the Soviet National Anthem….but was interrupted by: “We Are Iron Men”, as the Road Warriors charged the ring!!
- Iron Sheik & Breznikov dove out of the ring, leaving Volkoff to fend for himself
- Volkoff had a brief moment of offense, but Animal rebounded from the ropes and nailed a flying shoulder tackle….but Volkoff kicked out at the 2 count
- The tag out to Hawk….spike piledriver
- Hip toss by Hawk…tag out to Animal…double clothesline
- Another tag out to Hawk, as Animal lifts Volkoff up on his shoulders….DOOMSDAY DEVICE!!
- Animal nails Iron Sheik as he tries to break the count…the referee counts the 3

Post Match Interview with the Road Warriors
- Animal: We’re getting stinkin’ tired of hearing all the trash talk about the Valiants…the Valiants this, the Valiants that…well…let the Valiants step into the ring with us!! Tell ‘em Hawk!!
- Hawk: “Well….Lets take a closer look at the situation, shall we? We just annihilated two foreign dudes…we did it last week too….Next week, we will probably…do it again….So my question, when will the baddest team in the world get a shot at the ugliest team in the world? Yeah, I am talking about you two jokes, Johnny & Jimmy Valiant!! When I get my hands around your two’s scrawny necks, I am gonna squeeze…and squeeze a little more….and then….I will lay you down, ever so gently….AND KICK THE LIVING HELL OUT OF YOU!! Tell ‘em Paul!!”
- Ellering: “What we have here…is two monsters genetically coded to seek and destroy…two mean mutants….and when they finally do get the Tag Team Champions in the ring….total….devastation…”

- Bockwinkel barely works up a sweat, as he quickly locks Brazil in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK
- After several moments, Bockwinkel releases the hold, then hooks the BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER for the submission

Harley Race w/ Bobby Heenan vs. Frank Gotch
- Prior to the match, Bockwinkel (who never left the ring area after the last match) walks over to the announce podium, and says he is going to help with the commentating of the next match…
- Gotch surprises Race when he moves out of the way of a turnbuckle charge, then rolls Race up for the quick pin
- Bockwinkel tries to jump into the ring, but Gotch is quickly out of the ring before either Race recovers, or Bockwinkel gets into the ring….

Strip Club (Brutus Beefcake & Buff Bagwell) vs. The Valiants (Jimmy & Johnny Valiant) w/ Bobby Heenan
- The Valiants take the Strip Club to school, easily putting Beefcake away with the TOP ROPE ELBOW
- **THE VALIANTS DEFEND THE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES**

Buddy Rogers (NWA World Champ), Gorgeous George & Buddy Rose vs. Giant Baba, Wladek Kowalski & Don Leo Jonathan
- The match never actually took place, as all 6 men brawled throughout the studio, leaving the referee no choice but to call for a No Contest

MegaTournament - Massive singles 2-day double elimination tournament for a title shot on 2nd day

Sophie Filsinger Memorial Cup Tag Team Tournament (The Wed. after this Supercard begins the Great American Bash Tour, with 2 Main Event shows per week, every Wed & Sat, and leads into the Great American Bash Spectacular on the first Sunday of July)

7. July (July 7, 1974)
Great American Bash Tour – The tour actually begins on the Wed. night after the June SuperCard, runs each Wed. & Saturday of the month of June, and ends with the Great American Bash Spectacular on the 1st Sunday of July

Lords of the Ring – 8-man & 8-team single elimination tournaments

9. September (Sept 1, 1974)
WrestleFest – fan appreciation weekend, ending with the WrestleFest SuperCard

Rules for Title Defenses….

World Titles (includes World Tag Team Titles) will be defended only once per month, at the SuperCard
US Titles (includes US Tag Team Titles) will be defended twice per month, once on the regular Saturday night show, and then on the SuperCard
TV Title will be defended each Saturday on the Studio Show, and also on the SuperCard
**I can change these rules to fit special circumstances whenever I see fit**

I will be running my Legends fed (NWA) in a "real time" fashion. In other words, a Saturday show will be posted on SATURDAY. I am using the current year (2006). Nothing has changed as far as my fed goes, nothing is being rewritten, other than the dates being changed to reflect the current year & month. Below is the last four shows redated:

Card #1 "happened on" Sunday, June 25, 2006 (NWA Title Tournament)
Card #2 "happened on" Wednesday, June 28, 2006 (NWA Tag Team Title Tournament)
Card #3 "happened on" Saturday, July 1, 2006 (Studio Show)
Card #4 "happened on" Saturday, July 8, 2006 (Studio Show)

That is the list of shows that I have done so far for the NWA.

The next schedules show will be for Saturday the 15th, and it is a Saturday Night Studio Show.

This will allow me to run the fed at a more even pace....plus, I have always wanted to run a fed in "real time", and legends, I think, gives me the chance to do that. I will also have House Shows, or Arena Shows, during the week when I feel like running a Legends show....

The SuperCard list I sent out the other day will stay in affect, just the dates have been redone to reflect the current year (again, 2006), Saying that, the next SuperCard is scheduled for Sunday, August 6, and will be Lords of the Ring, and will feature 2 single elimination tourmaments (one a singles, the other a tag team), with the winners of the tournament being crowned as The Lords of the Ring.

Greg Valentine: “Screw his heart…I’m gonna break my Daddy’s legs!!” ~ The Valentine’s Civil War

The Valentine’s are a rough family. Tough, hard, rough. Those are the three words that you think of when you read the name Johnny or Greg Valentine. The father-son duo are great in the ring. Johnny is the NWA US Champion. Greg…could be the next US Champion. A Valentine Civil War has erupted between father and son, and this war is proving to be a war of pain and suffering. Greg has promised to break Johnny’s legs, and Johnny has promised to “take Greg behind the woodshed” for some discipline. Whatever will happen, it is going to happen at SuperClash in two weeks…

A Giant on the Loose: Kowalski is gone…but where did he go?

Don Leo Jonathan is a worried man. His partner, Wladek Kowalski, has deserted the tag team, and is no where to be found. Kowalski is a known hot-head, and reacts without thinking about his actions. And Kowalski’s temperament has only gotten worse during this feud with Gorgeous George & Buddy Rose. Jonathan was the only man that could control Kowalski, and calm him down…but now the big man is out there someone…by himself. Small towns…big cities….nobody is safe from a raging Kowalski.

The Road Warriors: Taking the Valiants Beyond Thunderdome

The Road Warriors have only one thing on their minds: The NWA World Tag Team Championship. Well, maybe two….because you can always add the Champions, The Valiants. It is only a matter of time until the Road Warriors step into the ring with the Valiants. And the Valiants are not looking forward to it. “Where are those pencil-necked punks!!” screamed Animal. Hawk followed up: “Jimmy and Johnny Valiant, when we get you in the ring, they will need to put a tombstone where we pin you, cause you ain’t getting back up!!” The Road Warriors have been a very impressive tag team in the NWA thus far…and the Valiants have been successful Tag Team Champions…the clash between these two tag teams is on the horizon. Ellering added these words to the situation: “When the two mutants, Hawk and Animal, climb into the ring to challenge the Valiants for the NWA World Tag Team Titles…it won’t just be a wrestling match. The Road Warriors will take those two weaklings further than they have ever gone before….A road trip…beyond Thunderdome!!”

Red, White, Black & Blue: “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan charges the NWA ranks

With a resounding “HYOOOOOOOO!!!!” Duggan has entered the NWA, and has targeted Greg Valentine, King Kong Bundy, and Ox Baker. Duggan ran to the ring, alongside NWA US Champion, Johnny Valentine, to make the save for The Sandman. Bundy & Baker, along with Greg Valentine, form the 3-man (or is that monster) group dubbed, Valentine’s Massacre. And they were doing a massacre to Sandman. The two Valentine’s have declared all-out war with each other…Duggan has stated that he and Sandman will form a tag team to battle Bundy & Baker.
