As both the AWA and NWA brands of Major League Wrestling (MLW) get ready to present the Survivor Series next week during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend (see previous posts for MLW's Survivor Series lineup), it is now time for this week's previews for both the AWA and NWA brand's major televised shows.
First up is this week's preview for AWA:RAW- the main weekly show for the AWA brand of Major League Wrestling (MLW).
Major League Wrestling (MLW) AWA:RAW PREVIEW for Thursday November 16, 2006
World Champion Bobo Brazil, Mil Mascaras, The Crusher, and the Double Axe Attack vs the Bobby Heenan Family: Nick Bockwinkel, Ray Stevens, Don Leo Jonathan, King Kong Bundy, and Ox Baker in a battle zone match.
One week before these two teams battle each other in an elimination tag match at Survivor Series with future title shots being granted to the survivors, they will first compete this week in Major League Wrestling's (MLW's) first-ever battle zone match!
Jimmy Snuka vs Don Muraco
One week before they compete in Major League Wrestling's first-ever Hell in a Cell match at Survivor Series, Snuka and Muraco will first wrestle each other as a tune-up in a traditional wrestling match.
Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke and the Killer Bees vs Heart Thrashers (Brutus Beefcake and Buff Bagwell) and Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff.
Along with the MLW Tag Team Champions the Vachons, these four teams are set to team together at Survivor Series against 5 tag teams from the NWA brand in an inter-promotional match. But first, the Vachons, who are the captains for the AWA brand tag teams, arranged to have their four fellow AWA tag teams compete against each other in an effort to stay sharp for the Survivor Series.
In addition: Members of the team Antonino's All Stars (captained by Antonino Rocca) will wrestle individual members of their Survivor Series opponents Larry's Legends (captained by Intercontinental Champion Larry Zbyszko) and Zbyszko will identify the fifth mystery member of his Larry's Legends Survivor Series team on this week's edition of Larry Land!
Now it is time for this week's preview of NWA:NITRO- the main weekly show of the NWA brand of Major League wrestling (MLW)!
Major League Wrestling (MLW) NWA:NITRO PREVIEW for November 17, 2006
United States Champion Frank Gotch and Dan Severn vs MLW Champion Buddy Rogers and Harley Race.
At Cyber Sunday, Race was voted by MLW fans to be the tag team partner for his fellow Horseman Rogers and they went on to defeat the team of Jim Londos and Antonino Rocca of the AWA brand in an inter-promotional matchup. Rogers and Race continued to pummel Londos and Rocca after the match ended until Gotch and Severn (who had been eligible but were not selected by MLW fans to be Rogers' tag team partner at Cyber Sunday) ran out to make the save. Now, one week before they face off on opposite teams at Survivor Series, Gotch and Severn together will get a chance to get their hands on Rogers and Race.
Road Warriors vs Dungeon of Doom: Bruiser Brody and Steve "Dr. Death" Williams
In MLW's most violent feud that seemingly won't end until one side is incapacitated, Hawk and Animal take on their enemies Brody and Williams again!
Fabulous Kangaroos vs World Tag Team Champions Midnight Express in a best 2 out of 3 falls title match.
Three weeks after defeating the team of Brody and Williams to earn another shot at the World tag Team Championship, the Fabulous Kangaroos finally get their promised title shot this week!
Diamond Dallas Page vs Rick Rude
These two enemies wrestle each other in singles competition one week before they captain opposing teams for future title shots at Survivor Series!
Giant Baba and Antonio Inoki vs Ivan Koloff and the Terrible Turk
After defeating his fellow countryman Rikidozan at Cyber Sunday to receive a MLW contract, Rocca has been signed by Major League Wrestling and assigned to the NWA brand where this week he will team with Giant Baba as the Japanese-Russian feud between between Baba and Koloff heats up!
Operation: Pimp (Hardcore Hodge and Steve Corino) vs Barroom Heroes (Sandman and Justin Credible) vs Armstrongs in an elimination match.
The winner of this tag team elimination match will earn the right to compete at Survivor Series as the fifth NWA brand tag team alongside the tag teams of the World Tag Team Champions Midnight Express, Road Warriors, Fabulous Kangaroos, and Brody and Williams against 5 AWA brand tag teams in an inter-promotional match!
In addition: Gotch will name the two unnamed wrestlers that will team with him, Severn, and Ted DiBiase against the Four Horsemen for future title shots at Survivor Series and the Four Horsemen will reveal the identity of their new associate who will team with them against Gotch's team at Survivor Series!
All this and more this week on Major League Wrestling!
Splatter, MLW's spokesman, says: "Major League Wrestling (MLW)). Don't you DARE miss it!"

Major League Wrestling (MLW) AWA:RAW Thursday November 16, 2006 on VEGAS TV (First Half)
With now only 1 week to go until both the AWA and NWA brands of Major League Wrestling (MLW) together present the Survivor Series on Thanksgiving weekend in which the survivors of all matches will receive future title shots, it is now time for this week's edition of AWA:RAW!
Match #1: Jim Londos pinned Gorgeous George.
-Londos and George are both on opposing teams at next week's Survivor Series as Londos will team up with Antonino Rocca, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Playboy Buddy Rose, and Red Bastien and as George will team up with Intercontinental Champion Larry Zbyszko, Cowboy Bob Orton Jr, the Missing Link, and an unidentified wrestler.
- this was a heated opening match between two enemies that saw the momentum shift back and forth until Londos picked up the victory over George via his AIRPLANE SPIN
-after the match, Londos got on the microphone and said if he is one of the survivors at next week's Survivor Series, then the title he will challenge for is Larry Zbyszko's Intercontinental Championship!
Match #2: Missing Link defeated Antonino Rocca by DQ.
-as mentioned during the previous match, both Rocca and the Missing Link are on opposing teams at next week's Survivor Series
-Rocca controlled most of the match, but the end came when the action spilled outside of the ring where Rocca and the Missing Link got into a violent brawl with Rocca getting disqualified for whipping the Missing Link into a steel ring post.
-the announcers remark that DQs like this, as well as countouts, at next week's Survivor Series will count as eliminations just like pinfalls and submissions
Match #3: Killer Bees and Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke defeated the Heart Thrashers (Brutus Beefcake and Buff Bagwell, managed by Cassandra) and the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (managed by Nikita Breznikov).
-the new MLW Tag Team Champions the Vachons (who won their title at Cyber Sunday) provide guest commentary for this match.
-the Vachons, who are the captains for all 4 of these teams competing in this match at Survivor Series against 5 tag teams of the NWA brand in an inter-promotional matchup, say they ordered these teams to compete against each other tonight so they could stay sharp for their match at the Survivor Series next weekend
-the Heart Thrashers (the previous MLW Tag Team Champions before losing their championship at Cyber Sunday) seemed more preoccupied with shouting toward the Vachons than with the match and this led Jim Brunzell pinning Brutus Beefcake with a KILLER DROPKICK for the win.
-can these 5 tag teams on the AWA brand, who are showing a clear lack of chemistry, get it together for their match at Survivor Series where they will compete together against 5 NWA brand tag teams?
End of First Half. Second Half will be posted next and includes a match between Jimmy Snuka and Don Muraco, an edition of Larry Land where the mysterious identity of the fifth wrestler on Zbyszko's team at Survivor Series will be revealed, and Major League Wrestling's (MLW's) first-ever battle zone match in which the five members of World Champion Bobo Brazil's team at Survivor Series will take on the 5 members of the Heenan Family!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) AWA:RAW Thursday November 16, 2006 (Second Half, First Half is posted above)
Match #4: Jimmy Snuka vs Don Muraco (managed by Sherri Martel)
- Snuka is competing in this match still completely bald after forcibly getting his head shaved by Muraco and Martel a few weeks ago
- thanks to help provided by a distraction from his valet/manager Martel, Muraco picked up the victory by giving Snuka an Asiatic Spike followed by his HAWAIIAN HAMMER.
- the announcers remind everyone that next week at the Survivors Series Snuka and Muraco will clash in Major League Wrestling's (MLW's) first-ever Hell in a Cell match!
Larry Land: hosted by Intercontinental Champion Larry Zbyszko accompanied by his body guard Cowboy Bob Orton Jr
-Zbyszko starts off by explaining that while all survivors at the Survivor Series will get future title shots, they will first have to defeat the current champions in non-title matches if the current champion they seek to challenge also survives at the Survivor Series and thus no one will be taking the Intercontinental Championship from him any time soon
- Zbyszko introduces his guest who he identifies as the fifth unidentified member of his Larry Legends team that will compete next week at Survivor Series
-the crowd reacts with shock and disbelief as in walks fan favorite Iron Mike DiBiase
-DiBiase explains that he is no longer aligning himself with fan favorites because he no longer cares about pleasing the fans who he blames for putting him on the injured list by encouraging The Crusher to give him 6 CRUSHER BOLOS back in September by shouting "Five More Times, Four More Times, and so forth."
-DiBiase brags that he will be one of the survivors next week when Larry's Legends defeats Antonino's All Stars and then he will get to challenge Bobo Brazil for the World Championship and he'll show the worthless fans that they were wrong to turn their backs on him.
Advertisement for Survivor Series-Coming Thanksgiving Weekend:
1. World Champion Bobo Brazil, Mil Mascaras, The Crusher, and the Double Axe Attack vs the Heenan Family: Nick Bockwinkel, Ray Stevens, Don Leo Jonathan, King Kong Bundy, and Ox Baker in a 10 man elimination tag match.
2. Frank Gotch, Dan Severn, and Ted DiBiase and 2 unnamed wrestlers vs The Four Horsemen: MLW Champion Buddy Rogers, Harley Race, United States Tag Team Champions the Valentines, and the Horsemens' new mystery "associate" in a 10 man elimination tag match.
3. Antonino Rocca, Jim Londos, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Playboy Buddy Rose, and Red Bastien vs Intercontinental Champion Larry Zbyszko, Cowboy Bob Orton Jr, Gorgeous George, Missing Link, and Iron Mike DiBiase in a 10 man elimination tag match.
4. Diamond Dallas Page, Giant Baba, Antonio Inoki, Richard Hutton, and the Boogie Woogie Man vs Rick Rude, Ivan Koloff, Terrible Turk, Bob Orton Sr, and Killer Kowalski in a 10 man elimination tag match.
5. Jimmy Snuka vs Don Muraco in MLW's first-ever Hell in a Cell match.
6. MLW Champions the Vachons, the Heart Thrashers (Brutus Beefcake and Buff Bagwell), Killer Bees, Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff, and Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke vs World Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express, Road Warriors, Fabulous Kangaroos, Bruiser Brody and Steve "Dr. Death" Williams, and one tag team to be determined in an inter-promotional 10 tag team elimination match.
All survivors of these matches will receive future title shots!
Match #6, the main event: World Champion Bobo Brazil, Mil Mascaras, The Crusher, and the Double Axe Attack vs The Heenan Family: Nick Bockwinkel, Ray Stevens, Don Leo Jonathan, King Kong Bundy, and Ox Baker in a battle zone match.
-these two teams are the opposing teams in the AWA brand's main event at next week's Survivor Series
-before the match began, ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta explained that the rules for this battle zone match (from COTG) were that both teams would send in 1 wrestler to compete against each other until one of them gets eliminated. Then the losing team will send in another wrestler and the match will continue this way until all the wrestlers from one team have been eliminated.
Larry Hennig defeated King Kong Bundy by wearing down the big man and eventually putting him away via THE AXE. In comes Ray Stevens.
- Ray Stevens defeated Larry Hennig by DQ when "The Axe" accidentally bumped the referee. In comes Mil Mascaras.
-Mascaras defeated Stevens via bow and arrow. In comes Ox Baker.
-Mascaras survived 2 HEART PUNCHES and being brutally assaulted outside of the ring to pin Baker via his FLYING BODYPRESS. In comes Don Leo Jonathan.
-DLJ defeated a tired Mascaras via his MORMON SWING. In comes The Crusher. The long-awaited battle between The Crusher and Don Leo Jonathan is about to take place!
-The Crusher survived 2 pin attempts to defeat DLJ via a bear hug. In comes the last remaining member of the Heenan Family- Nick Bockwinkel. The Crusher finally gets his chance to take on Bockwinkel!
-The Crusher's fatigue that he expended in defeating DLJ was evident as Bockwinkel was able to put him away relatively quickly via his BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER. In comes Curt Hennig.
- As he did in the previous fall against The Crusher, Bockwinkel defeated Curt Hennig via the BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER. In comes World Champion Bobo Brazil who is the last remaining member of his team. The winner of the next fall wins the match!
-Brazil survived both Bockwinkel's BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER and FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK and appeared to have Bockwinkel pinned via a COCO BUTT. But Heenan jumped on the apron to disrupt the three count. Brazil shook the top rope which caused Heenan to flip into the ring. Brazil then flung Heenan into a charging Bockwinkel to knock both Heenan and Bockwinkel senseless. Brazil proceeded to win the match by pinning Bockwinkel via another COCO BUTT.
Winners: World Champion Bobo Brazil, Mil Mascaras, The Crusher, and the Double Axe Attack. Brazil is the only survivor.
Brazil holds his World Championship above his head as the crowd wildly cheers his victory tonight. But what will happen when these two teams clash in their ten man elimination tag match next week at the Survivor Series when future title shots will be on the line?
End of Show. Be sure to join us tomorrow when the NWA brand of Major League Wrestling (MLW) presents its weekly edition of NWA:NITRO!
Fade to black.

Looks good Vegas. I haven't done my Snuka-Muraco feud yet but it is coming soon. Just have to do a worthy setup for it.
I'm hoping I can get Larry Z. some gold in my fed too, at least the TV title.
Nice to see you setting up Survivor Series the way it used to be. I like battlezone matches, but a lot of the time mine don't get every member of both teams in there. I see one guy beating 3,4 or all of the other team single-handedly.

Thanks tystates.
I have been running my Snuka-Muraco feud since my Great American Bash PPV back in July. I have really enjoyed it and it will be interesting it see how it ends (unless I get a roll of doubles or something else unexpected happens) in their Hell in a Cell match at the Survivor Series.
Larry Zbyszko is one of my favorite cards to play and I usually write out dialog for his Larry Land segments. But yesterday I was home from work with the flu so instead I just basically recapped what happened on that edition of Larry Land.
Yeah, I actually really preferred the Survivor Series back when it was all or at least mostly elimination matches (the original Survivor Series from 1987 is currently on WWE 24/7 and I am looking forward to seeing that again) so I set it up that way for my fed.
Sometimes in my COTG fed, there are several guys left over on one side for battle zone matches but this time it came down to the last 2 guys. This was the first time I ever did a battle zone match for my LOW fed but I thought it would be a good way to set things up for when these two teams next confront each other at the Survivor Series next weekend.

Major League Wrestling (MLW) NWA:NITRO on VEGAS TV Friday November 17, 2006 (First Half of the show)
With just 1 week to go until both the AWA and NWA brands together present the Survivor Series, it is now time for NITRO- the main weekly televised show for the NWA brand of Major League Wrestling (MLW)!
Match #1: Bruiser Brody and Steve "Dr. Death" Williams (managed by Killer Kowalski) defeated the Road Warriors.
-These two tag teams together kicked off this week's edition of NITRO with a bang as an all out war between them ensued in the ring. But the end came when Kowalski got away with smashing Hawk in the back of the head with the ring bell right before Brody also hit Hawk with his JUMPING KNEE DROP. Brody then easily covered Hawk for the pin.
-After the match, Kowalski entered the ring and said, "I thought what the hell, I'll use the bell" as Brody and Williams proceeded to pummel Animal who had bent down to check on Hawk who was still unconscious. Brody and Williams then held Animal down as Kowalski got ready to charge at him with the ring bell when suddenly Splatter, MLW's Spokesman, ran down to the ring with his club Arsenal and chased away Brody, Williams, and Kowalski to the cheers of the crowd.
-The announcers remark that the Road Warriors and Brody and Williams are scheduled to team together next week as 4 of the 5 NWA brand tag teams against 5 AWA brand tag teams in an inter-promotional elimination match at Survivor Series. But how will these two enemy tag teams manage to work together at Survivor Series?
Match #2: Diamond Dallas Page (accompanied By Diamond Doll Maxine Babe) pinned Rick Rude.
-Next week at Survivor Series, DDP and Rider captain opposing 5 man teams but tonight these two enemies faced off in singles competition.
-Rude controlled most of the match but the end came when DDP blocked a knee lift to the midsection from Rude and responded with a discus clothesline followed by his DIAMOND CUTTER to pick up the victory tonight. The announcer ask will this match be a sign of things to come at Survivor Series next week when the survivors of each match will receive future title shots?
Match #3: Barroom Heroes (Sandman and Justin Credible, managed by Phantasy) defeated the Armstrongs and Operation: Pimp (Hardcore Hodge and Steve Corino) in an elimination tag match to win the fifth and final spot on the NWA brand's team of tag teams to take on 5 tag teams from the AWA brand in next week's inter-promotional elimination match at Survivor Series.
-Operation: Pimp were the first team to get eliminated in this match. Corino and Credible were the two legal men in the ring when the action between them spilled to the outside. Phantasy attempted to toss a SINGAPORE CANE to Credible but it got intercepted by Corino who proceeded to hit both Credible and the Sandman on the head with it to earn the DQ.
- The Barroom Heroes then eliminated the Armstrongs to win this match when Credible got away with hitting "Bullet" Bob Armstrong with his SINGAPORE CANE for the pinfall victory.
-As a result of wining this match, the Barroom Heroes get to earn PPV money next week as they join the World Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express, the Fabulous Kangaroos, the Road Warriors, and Bruiser Brody and Steve "Dr. Death" Williams (all from MLW's NWA brand) to take on the MLW Tag Team Champions the Vachons, the Heart Thrashers (Brutus Beefcake and Buff Bagwell, Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff, the Killer bees, and Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke (all from MLW's AWA brand) in an inter-promotional elimination match at Survivor Series!
Match #4: Giant Baba and Antonio Inoki defeated Ivan Koloff and the Terrible Turk.
- This was the first match for Inoki since MLW fans at Cyber Sunday voted for him to wrestle Rikidozan for a MLW contract. Inoki won that match (Cyber Sunday results posted on previous pages) to win the MLW contract and has aligned himself with Baba against Koloff and the Terrible Turk in this emerging Japanese-Russian feud.
-Baba and Inoki and Koloff and the Terrible Turk are on opposing 5 man teams (captained by DDP and Rude respectively) at Survivor Series
1The tag team of Baba and Inoki looked great as they controlled the majority of the offense in this match and won when Inoki pinned the Terrible Turk via an ENZUIGIRI.
End of First Half.
Second Half will be posted later tonight and includes the Fabulous Kangaroos wrestling the World Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express in a best 2 out of 3 falls title match, an ediiton of the Hot Seat where the Four Horsemen are scheduled to reveal the identity of their new mystery associate, and a preview of the NWA brand's portion of the main event at Survivor Series as United States Champion Frank Gotch and Dan Severn will wrestle MLW Champion Buddy Rogers and Harley Race!

Thanks again Neil!
Major League Wrestling (MLW) NWA:NITRO on VEGAS TV Friday November 17, 2006 (Second Half of the show, First Half is posted above).
Backstage: Operation: Pimp (Hardcore Hodge and Steve Corino) are sitting in the locker room when United States Champion Frank Gotch walks up to them.
-Gotch tells Operation:Pimp that although they lost their match earlier tonight (see First Half of tonight's show which is posted above) that he was impressed with how they did overall and would like them to be the last two members of his 5 man team that will take on the Four Horsemen at Survivor Series next weekend in a 10 man tag elimination match.
-Operation: Pimp gladly accept Gotch's offer to team up with him against the Four Horsemen at Survivor Series.
Match #5: Fabulous Kangaroos (managed by Captain Kangaroo- formerly Albano) vs World Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express (managed by Jim Cornette and accompanied by Dennis Condrey) in a best 2 out of 3 falls match for the World Tag Team Championship.
-Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane are the two members of the Midnight Express that Cornette selected tonight to defend the World Tag Team Championship.
-First Fall: Despite interference from Cornette and his tennis racket, the Kangaroos win this fall when Al Costello forced Lane to tap out to his MARBLE BOR LEGLOCK. The Fabulous Kangaroos are now just one fall away from becoming the new World Tag Team Champions!
-Second Fall: A great fall that saw Eaton twice nearly get pinned which would have cost the Midnight Express the World Tag Team Championship. But the Midnight Express won this fall when Eaton pinned Roy Heffernan via the VEG-O-MATIC to even things at 1-1.
-Third Fall: As the Midnight Express were busy celebrating their win in the third fall, Heffernan snuck up behind Eaton and gave him a Tiger Suplex which led to a near pinfall. The Kangaroos looked great and determined in this fall and, despite attempted interference from both Cornette and Condrey, dominated this fall. As Captain Kangaroo hit Cornette with a series of punches outside of the ring, Heffernan forced Eaton to tap out to his STEP OVER TOEHOLD to win this fall and thus the match.
The Fabulous Kangaroos are the new World Tag Team Champions!
The Hot Seat: The Four Horsemen (MLW Champion Buddy Rogers, Harley Race, and the United States Tag Team Champions the Valentines) are this week's guests.
-Rogers vowed that there is no way the team of Gotch, Dan Severn, Ted DiBiase, and Operation: Pimp will be able to defeat the Four Horsemen in their 10 man tag elimination match next week at Survivor Series.
-Race mentions that, according to MLW Survivor Series rules, the survivors of all the elimination matches will get future title shots and thus all he (Race) has to do is make sure he does not get eliminated and he will get a shot at Gotch's United States Championship.
-Bill Apter reminds the Horsemen that these are 10 man tag elimination matches at Survivor Series and that there are only four members of the Four Horsemen. Apter says he was promised that the Horsemen would announce on the Hot Seat today who their partner will be at Survivor Series.
-Rogers says that, while almost everyone in Major League Wrestling has asked to join up with the Four Horsemen, he has personally accepted this man to be an "associate" Horsemen- in walks George Hackenschmidt.
-Hackenschmidt says he felt abandoned by MLW fans at Cyber Sunday because they did not vote for him to wrestle either Antonio Inoki or Rikidozan for the chance to win a MLW contract (MLW fans instead selected the matchup of Inoki vs Rikidozan which Inoki won).
-However, Hackenschmidt says he has still entered Major League Wrestling through the back door as an associate member of the Four Horsemen thanks to the influence of current MLW Champion Buddy Rogers and he (Hackenschmidt) promises to prove to the fans and their so-called heroes like Frank Gotch that they made a mistake in not voting for him at Cyber Sunday.
-So the Four Horsemen are now: 1. MLW Champion Buddy Rogers 2. Harley Race 3. Johnny Valentine 4. Greg Valentine 5. George Hackenschmidt (as an associate member) Advertisement for Survivor Series-Coming Thanksgiving Weekend where teams of 5 will strive to survive:
2. Frank Gotch, Dan Severn, and Ted DiBiase and Operation: Pimp (Hardcore Danny Hodge and Steve Corino) vs The Four Horsemen: MLW Champion Buddy Rogers, Harley Race, United States Tag Team Champions the Valentine, and George Hackenschmidt.
3. Antonino Rocca, Jim Londos, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Playboy Buddy Rose, and Red Bastien vs Intercontinental Champion Larry Zbyszko, Cowboy Bob Orton Jr, Gorgeous George, Missing Link, and Iron Mike DiBiase in a 10 man elimination tag match.
4. Diamond Dallas Page, Giant Baba, Antonio Inoki, Richard Hutton, and the Boogie Woogie Man vs Rick Rude, Ivan Koloff, Terrible Turk, Bob Orton Sr, and Killer Kowalski in a 10 man elimination tag match.
5. Jimmy Snuka vs Don Muraco in MLW's first-ever Hell in a Cell match.
6. MLW Champions the Vachons, the Heart Thrashers (Brutus Beefcake and Buff Bagwell), Killer Bees, Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff, and Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke vs World Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express, Road Warriors, Fabulous Kangaroos, Bruiser Brody and Steve "Dr. Death" Williams, and the Barroom Heroes (Sandman and Justin Credible) in an inter-promotional 10 tag team elimination match.
All survivors of these matches will receive future title shots!
Match #6, the main event: MLW Champion Buddy Rogers and Harley Race defeated United States Champion Frank Gotch and Dan Severn.
- In this match between four of the ten wrestlers in the NWA brand's portion of the main event next weekend at Survivor Series, Rogers and Race won when Race pinned Severn via his PILEDRIVER.
- Gotch tried to make the pin save but was prevented from doing so because he was attacked from behind by Hackenschmidt- the newest member of the Four Horsemen.
As Rogers, Race, and Hackenschmidt together celebrate their victory over Gotch and Severn to the jeers of the crowd, the show comes to an end.
Fade to black.

One week prior to Major League Wrestling's (MLW's) Survivor Series, it is now time for both of the weekly "B" shows for the AWA and NWA brands of Major League Wrestling (MLW).
First up is AWA:Action the weekly "B" show for MLW's AWA brand.
Major League Wrestling (MLW) AWA:Action on VEGAS TV Saturday November 18, 2006 (broadcast date)
This week on AWA:Action, wrestlers visiting from other promotions will wrestle wrestlers from MLW's AWA brand who did not participate in this week's edition of AWA:RAW.
Match #1: S.D. Jones defeated Zouave the Conqueror via a HEAD BUTT.
Match #2: Norse Gods defeated Koko B. Ware and Red Bastien by countout. The strange visiting duo of Lightening and Man-Mountain emerged victorious in this match when Man-Mountain gave Koko B. Ware a choke slam (Choice F on updated charts) which caused Ware to roll out of the ring from the impact. Despite Bastien's attempt to help him, Ware was unable to reenter the ring before the referee counted ten.
AWA:RAW Replay: This footage from this week's edition of AWA:RAW (posted on previous page and above) shows highlights from the main event battle zone (COTG rules) match between the team of World Champion Bobo Brazil, Mil Mascaras, The Crusher, and the Double Axe Attack vs their opponents at next week's Survivor Series the Heenan Family: Nick Bockwinkel, Ray Stevens, King Kong Bundy, Don Leo Jonathan, and Ox Baker.
The footage shows how Nick Bockwinkel ended up being the last man on his team but was able to defeat both The Crusher and then Curt Hennig with his BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER. The footage continues to show how Brazil, the last remaining man for his team, then came down to the ring and managed to pin Bockwinkel via his COCO BUTT despite attempted interference from Bobby Heenan. The announcers then ask, will this be the same result next weekend when these two same teams square off in a 10 man tag elimination match with future title shots granted to all of the survivors?

Major League Wrestling (MLW) Survivor Series Sunday November 26, 2006 (Second Half of the PPV, First Half is posted above)
Match #4: Jimmy Snuka vs Don Muraco (managed by Sherri Martel) in a Hell in a Cell match.
This was the the first-ever Hell in a Cell match in Major League Wrestling. Both Snuka and Muraco used the sides of the cell to punish each other and at one point even fought on top of the cell after Muraco tried to escape through the small opening at the top and Snuka followed up after him to force Muraco to reenter the cell. The end came when Snuka went for his SUPERFLY LEAP but missed (roll of 6). After hitting Snuka with an Asiatic Spike, Muraco went for a deathjump of his own but missed as Snuka rolled out of the way. Snuka then catapulted Muraco into the side of the cage and then went for another SUPERFLY LEAP and this timed seemed to time it perfectly (a+5 = a roll of 5) which led to the 3 count. Snuka has now apparently won his feud with Don Muraco.

Following the results of its successful Survivor Series PPV (results posted earlier on this thread) last weekend, Major League Wrestling (MLW) returns this week with the main weekly televised shows for its 2 brands.
First is this week's preview for AWA:RAW- the main show for Major League Wrestling's AWA brand.
Major League Wrestling (MLW) AWA:RAW on VEGAS TV PREVIEW for Thursday November 30, 2006
Antonino Rocca vs Don Muraco
A matchup between two wrestlers who both lost at Survivor Series and are now seeking to reenter the win column.
Jim Londos vs Iron Mike DiBiase
Upon making his return from the injured list and shocking the entire wrestling world by aligning himself with notorious rule breakers such as Intercontinental Champion Larry Zbyszko, DiBiase was forced to tap out early by Londos in their 10 man elimination tag match at Survivor Series. Will DiBiase achieve a different result in a singles match vs Londos this week on AWA:RAW?
Killer Bees vs Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke vs Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff vs the Heart Thrashers (elimination tag match)
Since none of these teams managed to survive against their counterparts from the NWA brand at Survivor Series to earn an automatic title shot, this elimination match will determine the new #1 contenders to the MLW Tag Team Champions the Vachons.
The Crusher vs Don Leo Jonathan
This long-awaited one on one matchup between avowed Heenan Family nemesis The Crusher and Heenan Family member DLJ will finally take place this week on AWA:RAW!
Larry Land
This week on Larry Land, Intercontinental Champion Larry Zbyszko will interview Jimmy Snuka who is coming off his victory over Don Muraco in MLW's first-ever Hell in a Cell match at Survivor Series.
World Champion Bobo Brazil vs Nick Bockwinkel
Bockwinkel is immediately cashing in his automatic title shot that he received as a result of surviving the elimination match against Brazil's team at Survivor Series last weekend.
All this and more this week on Major League Wrestling's (MLW's) AWA:RAW!
Now it is time for this week's preview for NWA:NITRO- the main weekly televised show for the NWA brand of Major League Wrestling (MLW)!
Major League Wrestling (MLW) NWA:NITRO PREVIEW for Friday December 1, 2006 on VEGAS TV
Diamond Dallas Page vs Rick Rude
After captaining opposing 5 man teams at Survivor Series, these two enemies meet in singles action this week on NWA:NITRO.
Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba vs United States Tag Team Champions the Valentines
After receiving his automatic title shot by being one of the survivors on his team at Survivor Series, Inoki has chosen along with his fellow countryman Baba to challenge the United States Tag Team Champions the Valentines this week on NWA:NITRO.
Ted DiBiase vs George Hackenschmidt
Hackenschmidt, the new associate of the Four Horsemen who made his in-ring debut for Major League Wrestling last weekend, was eliminated at the Survivor Series by Ted DiBiase via DiBiase's FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Now presented with a one on one match vs DiBiase, will Hackenschmidt be able to even the score?
Road Warriors vs Bruiser Brody and Steve "Dr. Death" Williams
To nobody's surprise, these two enemy tag teams were unable to work together in teaming with other NWA brand tag teams against the AWA brand tag teams in the inter-promotional match at Survivor Series last weekend. The Road Warriors and Brody and Williams eliminated each other by brawling their way into a double countout. They get the chance to combat each other once again this week on NWA:NITRO.
World Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos vs the Midnight Express (non-title)
The Midnight Express received a title shot by surviving their elimination match at Survivor Series last weekend. But since the Kangaroos also survived that match, the Midnight Express first have to defeat them in a non-title encounter this week before receiving their automatic shot at the World Tag Team Championship.
United States Champion Frank Gotch vs Harley Race (title match)
After surviving the 10 man elimination tag team match against Gotch's team at Survivor Series, Race received an automatic title shot and is using it immediately this week vs Gotch in a bid for the United States Championship.
All this and more this week on NWA:NITRO of Major League Wrestling (MLW)!

I really like the whole setup with survivors getting title shots. I also like how they have to defeat the champion in a Non-Title Match if the champion also survives. Very original idea.
Good job!
