Yeah, I was thinking of re-booting for a while and with the new year and the new charts and the fact that I hadn't played in ages, sorta losing track of my own story lines and where I wanted them to go, I pulled the plug.

Thanks!
And it's a good excuse to maybe learn some Photoshop in the process.
I wanna do a fake "monthly" mag with crazy headlines and stories just like the old days
And keep better track of length of title reigns and other stuff that got away from me in v 1.0
We'll see how it goes.

Here's how my title tournament went down.
Though for storyline purposes this never "really" happened.
Just like when the WWWF was formed, Rogers is announced as champ after promoters withdraw from the NWA (in my case the LWA) and wins the belt in a fictitious tournament in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
I sorta modified it a bit for my own purposes
But the fact that Rogers really did win my tournament is pretty cool.
----------
IWLF V2.0
World Title Tournament
(Round 1 - Bracket 1)
Killer Kowlaski def. Antonio Inoki - DQ (11:09) Inoki is disqualified after smashing Kowalski into the railing and continuing to assault him despite the referee's warnings
Dan "The Beast" Severn def. The Destroyer (12:29) Severn wins with a bow and arrow submission after injuring Destroyer with a fireman's carry slam on the floor as the two brawl outside the ring
Larry Zbyszko def. The Iron Sheik (14:06) A wild battle that ends when Zbyszko is able to hit the PILEDRIVER and get the pin. During the match, Zbyszko removed the turnbuckle padding and rammed Sheik into the exposed steel, busting him wide open.
Buddy Rogers def. Harley Race (16:56) After a grueling battle, Rogers locks on the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE and Race is pinned after passing out from the pain
(Round 1 - Bracket 2)
Curt Hennig def. Nick Bockwinkel - COR (7:04) The action quickly spills from the ring and as the two wrestlers brawl on the ring with the referee counting, Bockwinkel punches Henning who falls through the ropes and back into the ring beating the count. Nick Bockwinkel however is counted out and can't believe it!
Giant Baba def. Ivan Koloff (18:20) Both wrestlers batter each other and eventually the Baba Chop puts Koloff down long enough for the Japanese star to get the pin. Koloff, however, is a sore loser and attacks Baba after the match, clotheslining him with the Russian Chain and leaving him laying.
Mil Mascaras def. Dick Hutton (10:12) The fans are treated to a great scientific encounter but Hutton is no match for Mil's high-flying style and is pinned after two consecutive FLYING BODYPRESSES. Both wrestlers shake hands after the match.
Rikidozan def. Bobo Brazil (13:20) Another match up of two fan favorites that ends when Brazil is stunned after missing a turnbuckle charge and Rikidozan is able to hit the THUNDEROUS CHOPS to finish him off
(Round 2 - Bracket 1)
Dan "The Beast" Severn def. Killer Kowlaski - COR (23:30) Surprisingly, Severn dominates Kowalski for the most part and when Killer tries to get a breather outside the ring, Severn comes out and gives him the fireman's carry slam on the floor causing Kowalski to get counted out.
Buddy Rogers def. Larry Zbyszko (16:16) Zbyszko is in control and looks well on his way to victory until he misses a turnbuckle charge and smashes his knee into the corner. Rogers seizes the opportunity and slaps on the FIGURE FOUR GRAPVINE for the submission win.
(Round 2 - Bracket 2)
Giant Baba def. Curt Hennig (9:45) Hennig uses his speed to gain the early advantage but the bigger man's power is the difference in this one. Baba gets the pin after he's able to execute the NECKBREAKER DROP.
Mil Mascaras def. Rikidozan (14:08) Mascaras uses his superior speed to stay ahead of Rikidozan and gets the pin following two straight CROSSBODY ATTACKS. Both wrestlers shake hands after the match.
(Semi-Final - Bracket 1)
Buddy Rogers def. Dan "The Beast" Severn (18:42) Severn gets tossed from the ring and lands awkwardly, hurting his knee. Rogers seizes the opportunity and is able to slap on his FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE for the submission win and a trip to the tournament finals.
(Semi-Final - Bracket 2)
Mil Mascaras def. Giant Baba (14:56) Mascaras is in trouble early but again his aerial moves are too much for the opponent to handle and the masked man gets the win after a FLYING BODYPRESS. Mascaras advances to the final to meet Buddy Rogers.
(FINAL)
Buddy Rogers def. Mil Mascaras (23:27)
Mascaras is in complete control but misses a flying body press. Rogers throws him from the ring and drops the masked man knee-first across the ringside steps. After both wrestlers get back into the ring, Rogers slaps on the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE and Mascaras has to give it up!
Buddy Rogers is crowned the very first IWLF Heavyweight Champion!

The IWLF is back in full force, but you should have Rogers beat Bobo BRAZIL in the finals, heheh....
I merged my two feds into one recently (SLAM) as I know how it feels to lose the grip of your fed. Good luck with it!

(WEEK 4: CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING TV TAPING)

This week's show features Mil Mascaras, Big Ox Baker and the IWLF debuts of "The Golden Greek" Jim Londos and The Masked Superstar.
Mil Mascaras def. Ron Antak (1:22)

Match #2: Ox Baker (with "Wild" Red Berry) def. Mike "Meteor" Storm (8:08)
The youngster Storm uses his speed to stay ahead of the big Ox, at one point causing the big man to miss a corner splash and tumble from the ring. But this turns out to be Storm's downfall as he is distracted by Berry and sucker punched by Baker when he re-enters the ring.
Ox delivers a neckbreaker and goes for the pin but Berry tells his man to pull up the opponent at the count of two, breaking the count.
Baker asks Berry if he wants to see the HEART PUNCH but Red tells him the people don't deserve to see it.

After the match Red Bastien interviews Heenan and Superstar at ringside.
Heenan says he's here for one reason and that's to make money
And he's got the perfect guy to get that done, the Superstar, the most intelligent, dangerous wrestler out there.
So dangerous that he has to wear the mask to protect his identity in case one of his ham and egger opponents decides to press charges after the beating they receive
Heenan says the fans haven't even seen one-tenth of what Superstar can do in the ring but they'll know in a very short time as the victories accumulate
Superstar adds that there is another masked man in this area that he knows very well and advises him to stay out of Superstar's way if he knows what's good for him
Bastien says we're out of time and the credits roll
