NOTES : The United States Heavyweight Title Shot Challenge Semi-Finals will see Jimmy Snuka & Don Muraco team-up and face Curt Hennig and Jim Londos, the winning team will then move onto the Finals and face one another to decide whose the #1 Contender for Ivan Koloff's United States Heavyweight Title. Nick Bockwinkel attacked Brazil before Cappetta could finish the introductions, so not only did he have that advantage, but Brazil was injured aswell. After the match Bockwinkel, Mad Dog Vachon injured Brazil again, but DiPaolo and Koko B. Ware chased off the two men. TRW Officials have signed a match between Brazil & DiPaolo against Bockwinkel & Vachon... if Brazil or DiPaolo pin either Bockwinkel or Vachon that man gets the title shot, if those two lose then neither one will get a title shot.

The Vachon Brother snapped when they could not get their offense going, both men grabbed chairs from the crowd and slammed the referee with them. Ilio DiPaolo grabbed the $10,000 dollars in cash that was in a blue and yellow TRW duffle bag and started to throw some of it into the crowd, and thats when Heenan grabbed it back from DiPaolo and ran off with Rick Rude to the backstage area.
