I have done away with the Real Date format. Since I running two other feds (Classic and New Beginning), I have decided to reboot my Legends as well.
Card #1: Philadelphia PA- Spectrum
World Title Tournament
1. Buddy Rogers (1) def. The Destroyer (8) Both men can wrestle and exchange finishers before the midpoint of the match. Destroyer steps up his attack including multiple deathjump cross body blocks but Rogers manages to roll clear of one of them sending Destroyer crashing to the mat allowing Rogers to score the come from behind win. *** ½
2. Harley Race (5) def. Johnny Valentine (4) It looked as if Race would steal a quick win with a PILEDRIVER but Valentine managed to kick out and the match developed into a five star classic. The two men amassed a combined total of 11 pin tokens before Race survived an ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER and came back with a vertical suplex followed by a diving head butt and PILEDRIVER to advance to the next round. *****
3. Frank Gotch (2) def... Nick Bockwinkel (7) The action begun with a handshake and Bockwinkel took the action to Gotch including a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Gotch stepped up his mat attack and dominated the balance of the match winning with a GOTCH TOE HOLD. * ½
4. Giant Baba (6) def. Bobo Brazil (3) The Japanese media flood ringside for the arrival of the Japanese Champion Baba. Brazil starts strong controlling Baba in and out of the ring but Baba battled back to even things up. Brazil survives a NECKBREAKER DROP and then rolls clear of Baba’s deathjump and hits a COCO BUTT but cannot put Baba away. Baba turns the match catching Brazil on the top of the turnbuckles and tossing him to the mat and the action goes back and forth until Baba catches Brazil charging into the corner with an elbow to the face. A NECKBREAKER DROP ends the match one move later. ****
5. Buddy Rogers (1) def... Harley Race (5) Both men are still feeling the effects of their first round matches but it is Race who starts strong including a PILEDRIVER that nearly ends the match. Rogers rams Race’s head into the ringside table and advances to the finals with a FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE. It is Roger’s only offensive move of the match! **
6. Frank Gotch (2) def. Giant Baba (7) A handshake starts things off and Gotch is clearly the fresher of the two men. The bout goes back and forth and Gotch struggles with Baba’s size. Gotch avoids Baba’s charge to the buckle and Baba hits the buckles hard and quickly falls to a GOTCH TOE HOLD. ** ½
7. Frank Gotch (2) def. Buddy Rogers (1) Rogers looks to end things early going for a quick pin following a dropkick after only two moves. Rogers is the aggressor but cannot put do any real damage to a fresher Gotch who counter-wrestled until he found an opening. Gotch blocked a backdrop with a piledriver and followed with a GOTCH TOE HOLD. Rogers tapped out and Gotch claimed the World Heavyweight Title. NEW CHAMPION. ***
Notes: The two top seeds advance to the finals and it was number two seed, Gotch, who takes home the World Heavyweight Title. Rogers simply could not recover from the beating he took in the first two rounds and was no match for a much fresher Gotch . . . Up next, we head to St. Finbar School in Brooklyn New York to determine the first World Tag Team Champions.

Card #2: Brooklyn New York – St. Finbar School
World Tag Team Title Tournament
1. Road Warriors (1) vs. Jimmy & Johnny Valiant (8) The Valiant Brothers draw monster heat with their mic work when they demand to be the number one seed. The Valiants cut off Hawk from his corner and dominate the action. Johnny Valiant rams Hawk’s head into the steel rails and is disqualified. ½
2. Red Bastien & Jimmy Snuka (4) v. Ted DiBiase & King Kong Bundy w/Virgil DiBiase pays a fan to polish Bundy’s boots and draws monster heat. Snuka dominates the match until DiBiase catches him with a backward elbow off the ropes and ends the match with a MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER. ½
3. The Destroyer & Giant Baba (2) v. Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff w/Nikita Breznikov (7) Sheik & Volkoff are all over the fans with their mic work and the crowd is hot before the bell. The Japanese media are at ringside for this one. The match is a five star classic with the two teams combining for 16 pin tokens (eight for Sheik alone). The end comes after nearly an hour of action when Destroyer used a figure four leglock (choice) on Volkoff. *****
4. Johnny & Greg Valentine (3) v. Killer Kowalski & Ox Baker (6) Kowalski shows some skills downing Johnny Valentine for a near fall with a full nelson suplex but Valentine rolls clear of Kowalski’s deathjump in the very next move. Baker overpowers Greg Valentine at the end of the match crushing him at ringside with a falling body block off the top of the turnbuckles (LWF! LWF!). Baker ends the match in the next move with a HEARTPUNCH while Kowalski holds back Johnny Valentine. * ½
5. Road Warriors (1) v. Ted DiBiase & King Kong Bundy w/Virgil (5) DiBiase pays a fan to polish his own boots this time. The Warriors show their power early on with a spike piledriver on Bundy but it is Bundy who is wrecking force midway through the match busting open Animal. DiBiase mixes science and brawling to keep the Warriors on the defensive and Bundy drops an elbow on Animal and then uses an AVALANCE to get the win while Hawk brawls with DiBiase and Virgil. ** ½
6. The Destroyer & Giant Baba (2) v. Killer Kowalski & Ox Baker (6) The Japanese media cover this match intensely. The action goes back and forth with Destroyer using his skills to reverse several power moves. The match spills to the floor and Baker is disqualified for using a chair on Destroyer. **
7. The Destroyer & Giant Baba (2) v. Ted DiBiase & King Kong Bundy w/Virgil (5) DiBiase flaunts his cash to the Japanese media. Baba is a force in the match tossing around both DiBiase & Bundy scoring two near falls on DiBiase. The Million Dollar Man wins a brawl against Baba at ringside and Bundy capitalizes with a pair of AVALNACES on Baba for the win. NEW CHAMPIONS! **
Notes: The Road Warriors were derailed tonight. Not only did they look weak against the Valiant Brothers, but they were outclassed by eventual tournament winners Ted DiBiase & King Kong Bundy . . . Giant Baba & The Destroyer steel the show with their incredible one hour war with Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff. Baba & Destroyer had very little left when they reached the finals but still managed to come close to winning the tournament. Up next, we head to West Orange New Jersey where a Battle Royal for the United States Title headlines the card. As well, the Valiant Brothers have asked for a rematch with the Road Warriors and they will get it. In 6 man tag team action, World Champion Frank Gotch teams with Giant Baba & The Destroyer to face World Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase & King Kong Bundy along with Buddy Rogers.

3. Road Warriors v. Jimmy & Johnny Valiant Animal blocks Jimmy Valiant’s backdrop with a piledriver and the Warriors crush Valiant with a DOOMSDAY DEVICE for the win. The bout last two moves! ½
4. Johnny & Greg Valentine v. Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff w/Nikita Breznikov Volkoff and Sheik draw great heat with their mic work. Both teams use defensive tags to keep the momentum of the bout shifting for several minutes. Sheik and Johnny trade abdominal stretches before Sheik rams Johnny’s head into the steel ring post and is disqualified. Both team brawl to the back. Johnny is a bloody mess. ** ½
5. Bobo Brazil & Red Bastien v. Nick Bockwinkel & Harley Race Brazil & Bastien are over with the fans. Race and Bastien each go for clothesline and collide in the ring. Race recovers first and tags out. Bockwinkel comes in with a back suplex and finishes Bastien with a FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK. ½
6. Frank Gotch, The Destroyer & Giant Baba v. Buddy Rogers, Ted DiBiase & King Kong Bundy w/Virgil The Japanese media cover this match. DiBiase offers a fan cash to polish his boots. Baba takes control of the action against DiBiase bloodying him at ringside and crushing him with a deathjump cross body block. Somehow, DiBiase kicks out and the action spills to the floor where DiBiase rams Destroyer into the ring post and is disqualified. A wild brawl starts the fan favorites clear the ring.
7. United States Title Match – 20 Man Battle Royal: Gorgeous George, Jimmy Snuka, Playboy Buddy Rose, Road Warrior Hawk, Road Warrior Animal, Jimmy Valiant; Johnny Valiant; Greg Valentine, Johnny Valentine, Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, Bobo Brazil, Red Bastien, Harley Race, Nick Bockwinkel, Giant Baba, The Destroyer, Buddy Rogers, Killer Kowalski, & Ox Baker Wild action to start. - Race tries to save Bockwinkel from being eliminated but is backdropped to the floor by Sheik - Animal dumps Jimmy Valiant from the ring - Animal tosses Johnny Valiant from the match after a DOOMSDAY DEVICE - Rose eliminates Snuka after a BOMBSAWAY - Rose eliminates Bastien - Destroyer traps Volkoff in a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK and sends him over the top - Baba dumps George - Rogers dropkicks Baker over the ropes - Johnny Valentine struggles with Brazil and maneuvers him over the ropes - Kowalski uses a CLAW HOLD to force Baba over the ropes - Kowalski uses a CLAW HOLD to eliminate Destroyer - Hawk tosses Bockwinkel - Hawk eliminated Rose after a DOOMSDAY DEVICE - Rogers eliminates Greg Valentine after a FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE - Johnny Valentine tosses Rogers - Hawk muscles Kowalski to the floor - Animal clotheslines Sheik - Hawk clotheslines Johnny Valentine It is now Hawk v. Animal. The crowd is roaring….
I am not sure how I am going to end this one. Here are the options I am considering:
1. Old School Booking always had a coin flip to determine the winner of the Battle Royal when two heels or two faces were left in the ring. I could have a coin flip and award the title to the winner
2. Same as number one with the loser of the coin flip turning on the winner, breaking up the Road Warriors
3. May the best man win. If doubles end the match, the Warriors turn on each other and feud table will be used.
4. The Warriors refuse to wrestle each other and throw down the United States Title demanding a shot at the Tag Team Titles.
Any thoughts….

I say have the match and let whatever happens happen man .I have not had a situation where partners faced off with each other but if it came down to I say the hell with it let em go at it .Down the road I plan to have the Valiants split up so I can bring in Jimmy the Boggy Woggy Man in .I have had The Dibiases face each other but they have since put thier differences aside they tag up and are lead to the ring by Virgil.

I say keep rolling the dice to determine the winner of the battle royal and let Hawk and Animal wrestle each other. You don't have to break them up afterwards and can keep them as a tag team. I guess it would be sort of like when the two members of Demolition wrestled each other when they were alone in the ring during one of the Royal Rumbles.

Thanks for the input. Here is the conclusion...
It is now Hawk v. Animal. The crowd is roaring. The two Road Warriors look at each other and raise their arms in victory. Animal grabs the mic and tells everyone they can stick the US Title. They want a shot at the Tag Team Champions.
Notes: The Road Warriors made a huge statement tonight destroying the Valiant Brothers in two moves then dominating the Battle Royal . . . Are Jimmy Snuka and The Sandman allies? Certainly it appears Playboy Buddy Rose & Gorgeous George are . . . For the record, Sandman will not miss any action from the injury at the hands of George & Rose . . . If Nick Bockwinkel & Harley Race decide to team up on a regular basis, they could become a force in the tag team division.

2. Killer Kowalski v. Harley Race Kowalski takes the match to Race controlling the action on the mat. After kicking out of a pin following an overhead body slam, Race avoids Kowalski’s charge to the corner and Kowalski falls to the floor. Both men brawl at ringside and Race cracks Kowalski with a chair shot and is disqualified. ** ½
3. Bobo Brazil v. Nick Bockwinkel The fans love Brazil and he responds by taking the fight to Bockwinkel. The craft Bockwinkel manages to avoid a deathjump leading to a pin attempt before things get violent. Both men are quickly a bloody mess after several wild brawls at ringside. The referee decides to disqualify Brazil after he posts Bockwinkel. Both men brawl to the back. **
4. Jimmy Snuka & The Sandman v. Playboy Buddy Rose & Gorgeous George w/Cherrie Dupré Great heat for Rose and George while they “prepare” for their match and Dupré disinfects the ring. Sandman is favouring his leg. Rose tries to wrestle but Sandman blocks a backdrop with a kick to the head and unleashes the SINGAPORE KANE busting Rose open. Snuka takes Rose to the floor and rams Rose’s head into the steel rails by the fans and is disqualified. Rose, George & Dupré flee ringside. * ½

Sheik bloodies Greg Valentine ramming Valentine’s head into the steel rails while Breznikov distracts the referee. Sheik downs Greg Valentine for the pin. *** ½
6. King Kong Bundy w/Virgil v. Giant Baba The Japanese media cover this match. Bundy overpowers the Japanese giant including an impressive running powerslam. Baba battles back and downs Bundy with three consecutive NECK BREAKER DROPS and Virgil jumps Baba from behind saving Bundy and causing a disqualification. Virgil and Bundy manage to beat down Baba and Bundy unleashes four AVALANCHES. Baba is removed on stretcher. ** ½
7. World Title Match – Frank Gotch (ch) v. Buddy Rogers The crowd backs Gotch and he responds by catching Rogers on the top of the buckles and tosses him to the mat before applying a GOTCH TOE HOLD. Gotch crushes Rogers with an Iowa backdrop on the arena floor but Rogers comes back ramming Gotch’s shoulder into the steel ring post and Rogers is disqualified. **
Notes: It is announced before the card that the vacant United States Title will be filled by a match between Johnny Valentine and Iron Sheik (the last two men eliminated by the Road Warriors in last cards battle royal) on Card #6 . . . King Kong Bundy sent Giant Baba out on a stretcher tonight. Baba is booked to team with The Destroyer to challenge Bundy & Ted DiBiase for the Tag Team Titles on the next card. It is not clear whether or not Baba will be able to compete in that match . . . The feud between the Valentines and the team of Sheik & Volkoff continues to heat up. As does the conflict between the duo of Jimmy Snuka & The Sandman the team of Gorgeous George & Buddy Rose . . .
