Random thoughts from some of the participants:

Buddy Rogers—“For years, history has continued to ignore the accomplishments I made to professional wrestling. Whether it was the NWA who wanted to keep recognizing a guy like Harley Race as their greatest champion or whomever the WWF was foolishing pushing, people have forgotten that me, the original Nature Boy, was the very first person to hold both the NWA and WWF World Titles…when it actually meant something.

So I’m not here for anyone but myself. If the fans cheer me, so be it. If they choose to boo me, then they probably have a reason for it since I will use every single dirty trick I can use in order to keep this LWF Title, a title a feel is the best in wrestling. So whether it’s Race, Bockwinkel, Brazil or anyone else, you know I’m not hard to find. I’ll be that blonde guy, with that big gold title wrapped around his gorgeous waist and strutting around like the proudest peacock in the land!

Hawk—Wellllllll, I think I proved that the Road Warriors are the most dominant force in professional wrestling. It should have been me and Animal fighting over that title. But hey, there is no doubt who will come out on top and win that LWF Tag Titles. I heard Rogers running his mouth about being the first to win both the NWA and WWF World Titles, but who do you think was the first to win the NWA, WWF AND AWA World Titles, all within a ten year period.

So any pretenders to the throne, line up, because the Road Warriors are going to rip your stinking head off!!!! And Rogers, you should pray that me and Animal are the most dominant tag team and are after the LWF Tag Titles because I’d knock your head off and take that title! OHHHHH WHATAAAAA RUSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Harley Race—Once again, Rogers lucks his way in to win the title. But he should remember who the most dominant champion in history was. And like he said, I was champion when champion meant something. So you can bet your bottom dollar that Harley Race will be first in line to sign his name to the dotted line for a rematch for the LWF Title. And there will be no eight time champ Harley Race this time…it’s going to be one time LWF Champion, Handsome Harley Race.

Gorgeous George—For those who have thought of George as a no talent buffoon who only used showmanship to get over, may this be a wake up call. I went through the most powerful wrestler in Animal, the first great champ in Frank Gotch, a former Olympic great in the Iron Sheik…although that filthy Hawk had to cheat in defeating me. So to all who have thought Gorgeous George was all bark and no bite, think again my delicate flowers.

There is the twelve team LWF Tag Title tournament, so granted, some guys you wouldn’t expect to team up are going to join forces in order to gain championship gold because wins and titles are what gets you to the pay window.

Here are some LWF wrestlers to explain why they are teaming up with their respective tag partners

Frank Gotch—Look, in my day, it was every man for himself. So truthfully, I don’t believe in tag wrestling, but if I’m going to have a partner, he’s going to have to be on a scale someone on my level. Granted, that is hard to do, but I went looking at a list of former NWA Champs.

Harley Race? Would like him for a partner, but has a bad ego problem thinking he’s the best champ ever…when the world knows that is me. Baba? Please, a few fluke title wins for political reasons? No thanks, next. Rogers? That egomaniac wouldn’t even tag me in, hogging the glory for himself (but in all honesty, I’d probably do the same to him!).

Then I came to D**k Hutton. An underrated champ that had a very good run with the NWA title. I mean for gosh sakes, look who he defeated for the title! I don’t think we’ll be drinking buddies or anything, but I think we can make some noise in this tourney!

Buddy Rogers—As the LWF Champion, most may think I’m lowering myself competing in the tag tournament. But the way I see it, this is an opportunity to be a double champ, which means more money in my bank account!

But there was one guy who I thought I’d love to manage if I retired and that man is Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka. Granted, I liked him better when he had a bit more of a mean streak, but hanging out with the “Nature Boy” can do that for you!

Ted DiBiase---Ha ha ha! As I have found out, everyone has a price and I want to introduce my newest partner, King Kong Bundy. With my brains and his brawn, we are a sure bet to be LWF Tag Champs. If not, I’m sure the champs can name their price! Hahahahahhaha

Killer Kowalski—I had to look at this roster long and hard and there was one guy who was big, who was tough and who was bad. That man? Ox Baker! With us teaming up, we are no doubt the biggest team in the LWF, even bigger and stronger than the Road Warriors.

The promotion is starting out in the Central States/Missouri area. This was the crown jewel of the old NWA, so I'm figuring this is the best place to start. Eventually, the territories will spread out once I start introducing more and more wrestlers.

The LWF Champion will be a traveling champion, going from territory to territory, defending the most prestigious title in professional wrestling.

Sam Muchnick will be the commissioner of the fed until the federations start splitting off.

While some do not use bootlegs, it's just too hard to pass up using the LOWBootlegs, so they will gradually be introduced as well.

But now...onto tonights action!

Sam Muchnick comes to the ring, surrounded by security, with four golden belts encased in glass boxes. Muchnick then address the capacity crowd.

Muchnick: "Before tonights event, many of you witnessed two of the greatest tournaments in the history of wrestling. There were surprises, great action and the best man, and team won. So, without further adieu, let me introduce "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers and the "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka!"

Rogers and Snuka made their way to the ring where Rogers was presented with the LWF Title and one half of the LWF Tag Titles. Snuka was presented his half of the LWF Tag Titles.

Rogers then took the mic

Rogers: "For the longest time, people considered me some fluke champion after that big ape Bruno Sammartino beat me in 48 seconds. But I'm not one to complain, but I was going through a serious health issue. But look at me now, the pinnacle of the sport, prime and 100%. So the Nature Boy has an open contract out for anyone who thinks they are actually man enough to pin my shoulders to the mat for to 1-2-3."

Snuka interrupted Rogers

Snuka: Listen brudda, I respect the hell out of you, but I really think you should be a bit more sincere in your win. This is the best talent ever assembled in any federation and everyone is gunning for you, and me.

Rogers: Jimmy, I hear what you are saying. But just following my lead and we'll be the greatest tandem in wrestling. With our skills, we'll be wearing these straps for a long time.

Muchnick then interrupted the two.

Muchnick: Guys, as much as I want you to have your moment in the sun, the fans paid to see great action and we're giving it to them. This final belt is the United States Heavyweight Title and it is going to the winner of a Battle Royal tonight.

The twenty six participants made their way to the ring as the battle for the US Title, and the number one contenders spot to the LWF Title, was on!

That Rogers & Snuka combo is a tough one. They still hold the record for longest tag title reign in my fed.

Are you using the original Hawk or the LE? We tried to tone him down a bit in singles on the LE version. It's not easy to come up with stats for a top tier tag-team without having them have some strong singles stats.

Gorgeous George pinning Frank A. Gotch is one of those results that just seems SO unlikely. I like that George won with the handfuil of tights though. I sense the Gotch Toehold in his immediate future.

I'm doing a re-boot since I want to intro the LOW Bootlegs in teh game.

I'm kinda of a stickler, but since I'm starting over with the first set, this is the original Hawk. I'll intro the LE one with Hardcore.

I agree about the strong stats. About the only thing you could do is add a bunch of add 1 (tag) moves I'm guessing

In my original fed, George was about a .365 winning percent kinda guy. But since the re-boot....well, you'll see the results in a few days!!! I think he paid off some dice!

Buddy Rose came out to open the night carry some sort of box and addressed the crowd

Rose: Before anything gets started tonight, and while we have a capacity crowd and millions more watching at home, I figured this was the best time to promote this. Let me introduced to you, the fans, the absolute, best, guaranteed weight loss program on the market today—The Blow Away Diet!

This caused plenty of cat calls and boos from the fans expecting hot action, but was getting some goofy “info-mercial”. Red Bastien then came to the ring.

Bastien: Buddy, I’ve known you for a long time and while I don’t agree with the tactics you employee on occasion, you are a fine competitor. However, this is the LWF, not some other goofy cartoon federation. If you sign up here, it’s to wrestle, but to be Donald Duck.

The crowd showed its approval to Bastien’s comments by giving him a standing ovation. Rose told the crowd to quiet down a bit.

Rose: Red, you are probably right. I’ve seen the talent in this fed and its top notch. So let me apologize to all of the fans out here.

Rose then nailed Bastien with a sucker punch, effectively starting their match.

1) Red Bastien pinned Buddy Rose following the ATOMIC DROP

After the match, Rose threw a handful of his “Blow Away Diet” into Bastien’s eyes before fleeing the ring.
Red Bastien injured 3 cards

The familiar strains of Metalica’s “Enter Sandman” hit the arena, as spotlight found the infamous hardcore icon, The Sandman, walking through the crowd sharing beers with fans on his way. As he hit the ring, he spoke to the crowd.

Sandman: You know, I’ve seen the roster and I feel like a guy with my extreme nature may be out of place with all of the Races, Gotchs Bockwinkels out here.

Ox Baker suddenly interrupted Sandman

Baker: Hey boy, I was extreme before you knew what the hell it was called. Ask those two guys that are buried six feet under who felt the wrath of my heartpunch how hardcore Ox Baker is.

Sandman then told Baker to come to the ring…

2) The Sandman beat Ox Baker by countout after nailing him with his SINGAPORE CANE on the outside of the ring.

Eight time NWA World Champion Harley Race came to the ring

Race: I don’t care what title Buddy Rogers holds, my record of NWA Titles makes me the measuring stick of what a wrestler should be. So Buddy, I want you to be a man tonight, come to the ring, put up a good match, but take your beating, and let a real man put that title around his waist.

Rogers then came out to answer Race’s challenge

Rogers: Harley, for years I’ve been dogged about not being some great champion. Lost in it all, I was the first man ever to hold the NWA and the WWWF Title (Race made it a point to let everyone know that the WWWF title was simply a regional title). So tonight, you have your shot. I’m not one to worry what the fans think, but tonight I guarantee that Harley Race will be beat in the middle of the ring by the “Nature Boy”!

3) Gorgeous George beat D**k Hutton with the SPINNING TOE HOLD

The Million Dollar Corporation (DiBiase, Virgil and Bundy) came to the ring

DiBiase: Before this match I have against Jimmy Snuka, I want him to come to the ring. (Snuka came to the ring to a chorus of cheers). Jimmy, look you are a phenomenal athlete and someone I could use in the Million Dollar Corporation. So what’s your price Jimmy? I mean I know you are from some island out the in the Pacific, and judging from your ring attire, you could use the money. So name your price.

Snuka: Listen bruddah, the Superfly isn’t for sale

DiBiase (getting a chuckle out of Snuka’s response) retorted: Okay, how about if I give you a quarter to shine my shoes.

Snuka then decked DiBiase, but Bundy attacked him from behind

4) Jimmy Snuka pinned Ted DiBiase after a leapfrog and chop.

After the match, Snuka gave him a SUPERFLY LEAP on a table outside the ring. Ted DiBiase out 6 cards.

5) The Destroyer & Giant Baba beat Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff when Volkoff submitted to Destroyer’s FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK

Nikita Breznikov then shouted instructions for Sheik and Volkoff to remove Destroyer’s mask until they were stopped by Baba

Johnny Valentine came out to the ring

Valentine: The promoters came to me saying they wanted me to wrestle exclusively for the LWF. I told them Johnny Valentine is his own man, but then I looked over the roster and saw Bobo Brazil’s name. There was one guy who I always wanted to take it, it was Bobo Brazil. So it’s my life’s mission now…I’m going to take Brazil out.

Bobo Brazil heard this and stormed the ring

6) Bobo Brazil battled Johnny Valentine to a bloody double DQ, battling all over the arena.

7) The Valiant Brothers beat The Road Warriors to earn a LWF Tag Title shot when Jimmy Valiant pinned Animal after hitting him with a foreign object
Animal injured 4 cards

8) Frank Gotch beat Nick Bockwinkel with the GOTCH TOEHOLD to win the US Title

9) LWF Champ Buddy Rogers beat Harley Race with the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE

An irate Race brutally attacked Rogers after the match, giving him his feared PILEDRIVER on the arena floor. Buddy Rogers out 9 cards

As the program opened, Red Bastien came out to make a challenge

“I’m a man of few words, but what that fat pig Buddy Rose did to me last fight card was beyond reprehensible. I came to the LWF to test my mettle against the best professional wrestling has to offer and he throws some powder in my face?”

Just then, to a chorus of boos and cat calls, Rose waddles his way to the ring.

“Mr. Bastien, you are totally right and I’m to blame. That kind of stuff should be left out of the LWF, a place where only the greatest wrestlers of all time compete for the LWF Title. So Mr. Bastien, please, please accept my heartfelt apology.”

Rose then stuck his hand out for Bastien to shake, which Bastien cautiously accepted. Rose, ever the cheap shot artist, tried to kick Bastien with a well placed boot to the gut, but Bastien caught Rose’s foot, spun him around and gave him his patented ATOMIC DROP, sending the portly fellow flying head first out of the ring.

1) Buddy Rose beat Red Bastien with a half Boston Crab

Gorgeous George appeared at ringside; helping Rose win the match and attack Bastien afterwards as he held Bastien while Rose delivered several well planted BOMBS AWAY to Bastien. Red Bastien out 4

George addressed the crowd, “Of all of the men on this roster, the only person that I see an ounce of charisma in is this man right here (pointing to Rose). From here on out, I’ll be giving this fine wrestler pointers and who knows, we could even challenge for the LWF Tag Titles.”

2) Dick Hutton beat Greg Valentine by DQ when Valentine refused to release his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK

Killer Kowalski came out, grabbed the mic, to shout, “Everyone is worried about being a “good guy” or a “bad guy”, but don’t realize that I’m a killer who doesn’t care about titles. So label me what you will because…

…just then, the familiar tune of the classic “Enter Sandman” began to blare through the audio of the arena. The Sandman stood among the throngs of fans, as they sang along the lyrics and hoisted a beer with Sandman.

Kowalski wasted no time as he made his way up the arena where he was greeted with a vicious Singapore Cane to the head.

3) The Sandman battled Killer Kowalski to a double counted as the two brawled all over the building.

4) Giant Baba pinned Nikolai Volkoff with a roll up

Ted DiBiase came out and put a bounty out on Jimmy Snuka

“Everyman has a price and they will get that if they take out that illiterate caveman Jimmy Snuka. He did nothing but try and end my career by putting me through a table.”

King Kong Bundy interrupted DiBiase, “Ted I’m the man for the job. I can crush Snuka with my Avalanche as quickly as you can count to five.”

5) King Kong Bundy pinned Jimmy Snuka after the AVALANCHE

Bundy tried to give Snuka another AVALANCHE, but Snuka, while injured quickly slipped under the ropes as ringside attendants checked out the marvelous high flying star

Nikita Breznikov and Iron Sheik came to the ring as Sheik began his incoherent ramble

“Iron Sheik, I have real credentials.. Sheik is number one wrestler from Iran who mop up all Olympic competition. I hear this silly mask man, who is he called, Destroyer, think he some kind of amateur star. Sheik is only amateur star here mask man. Sheik number one, Iran number one, Destroyer….phew!”

6) Iron Sheik beat The Destroyer with the CAMEL CLUTCH

Sheik refused to release the hold as Breznikov got in a few kicks of his own. The two tried to take off Destroyer’s mask, but Baba stopped the duo. The Destroyer out 5 cards

7) Bobo Brazil pinned Johnny Valentine following the COCO BUTT

8) US Champ Frank Gotch beat Nick Bockwinkel with the GOTCH TOEHOLD

An irate Bockwinkel said, “Everyone can have a night where they get a lucky break and defeat the best champ the sport has seen. But Mr. Gotch, can you defeat me twice? I highly doubt so because I have something you lack Mr. Gotch – intelligence. Will you accept my challenge to meet me in a best of three falls match?”

9) In a Texas Death Match, The Valiants beat The Road Warriors when Johnny Valiant pinned Animal after a SPINNING NECKBREAKER.

An extremely confident, while some will call cocky, Valiant Brothers team bragged about their impressive win. “The myth of the Road Warriors ended tonight baby,” claimed Jimmy Valiant, “Brother, it’s just a matter of time before those LWF Tag Titles are around our sexy waists daddy!”

Sam Muchnick came out to address the crowd and updating them on the LWF Title situation.

“Two cards ago, Harley Race injured Buddy Rogers in a match for the LWF Title. It is our desire for the fans to see a title match on each card, but after conferring with doctors, Rogers will be out for more than thirty days and we will strip him of the LWF Title, a move I hate doing. But for the good of the fans, and the federation, we feel this is the best all around moves. So tonight, I’ve scheduled an eight man min tourney to determine the LWF Champ.”

Harley Race came strolling out, “Since I’m the one who took out the “champ”, why not just hand me the title? I’m obvious deserving of it due to my top notch credentials.”

“Well Harley, due to your actions, you won’t even be in this tournament,” answered Muchnick.

Race was livid and vowed to win the title anyways, anyhow, anywhere

4) In a LWF Title Tournament Match, Iron Sheik beat Giant Baba by DQ

Greg Valentine came out and made a challenge to Race, “For years Harley you were nothing more than the NWA Title whore thinking you could carry the entire NWA on your back. That’s why I left for the WWF because I knew with you in the promoter’s ears, and the NWA office in your backyard, “The Hammer” was getting the old royal screw treatment. But this is a long time coming, so get your a** out here because I years of pent up frustration at you I’m ready to get out.”

5) Harley Race pinned Greg Valentine following a swinging neckbreaker

Race called out Valentine, “Boy, the next time you think you are man enough to make a challenge like that to me, make me break a sweat. But I’m going to make sure you won’t have another time to challenge me because you are going to end up next to Rogers.”

Race attempted a PILEDRIVER on the floor on Valentine, but LWF officials quickly stopped him.

The Road Warriors came out demanding a match against the Valiants, but Ted DiBiase came out.

“Hahaha,” chuckled DiBiase, “Well my fine face painted friends, I’ve spoke to the Valiants in the back and they let me know they aren’t risking a future title shot against two madmen like you. But, the Million Dollar Corporation is always looking for ways to move up the corporate ladder and King Kong Bundy and Virgil have informed me they would want nothing more to wipe the ring with you two gorillas.”

9) The Road Warriors beat King Kong Bundy & Virgil when Hawk pinned Virgil after a vertical suplex

10) In a best of three falls match, US Champ Frank Gotch whipped Nick Bockwinkel two falls to zero.

11) Gorgeous George beat Jimmy Snuka with the SPINNING TOE HOLD to win the vacant LWF Title.

George addressed the crowd, “Haha! Finally, a champion to look up to and respect. I’m going to bring honor and glory to this title like only the Gorgeous one can. I may start off by painting it pink, just so it’ll look that much better around my waist. So all of my fans, bow to me when you now see me – the new, and improved, LWF Champion!

Sam Muchnick came out and, like the LWF Title, since Buddy Rogers is injured, he and Jimmy Snuka are forfeiting the LWF Tag Titles. A tournament will be held tonight with the winners the new LWF Tag Champions

2) In LWF Tag Title Tournament Match, The Valiants beat King Kong Bundy & Virgil when Jimmy Valiant pinned Virgil after the TOP ROPE ELBOW

3) In LWF Tag Title Tournament Match, Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff beat The Road Warriors when Volkoff pinned Animal following the BACKBREAKER DROP
The Valiants, who were sneaking around ringside, helped the Sheik and Volkoff to the win. As Johnny distracted Hawk, Jimmy knocked Animal’s foot off the ropes.

An irate Road Warrior team was livid as Animal grabbed the mic, “Hey, you know something Valiant Sisters; it’s all jealousy about you two twerps and us. You know we’d take your heads off and wrap those lame bodies of yours around the ringpost. So Valiants, look behind your back boys because we ain’t hard to miss and we are coming for you!”

4) Bobo Brazil pinned Greg Valentine after the Bobo Body Slam
Johnny Valentine ran in and attacked Brazil, but Harley Race, of all people, helped save Brazil from the Valentine attack. Brazil looked surprised as Race simply nodded at him before leaving.

Nick Bockwinkel came out…”I’m crying foul on the matches I’ve had with Frank Gotch. It was obvious I had an inept referee because there is no way that never was could have defeated me. But alas, that time has passed and I will work my way all the way up to the LWF Title. The only way to do that is to defeat the best competition. Sizing it up, I want to make an open challenge to Giant Baba. As a former NWA Champ, a sure win over him will mean an instant move up the rankings and thus, a future title shot which will be won by me.”

6) Harley Race pinned Johnny Valentine following the PILEDRIVER
Greg Valentine ran in and attacked Race, but Bobo Brazil ran in to help Race drive off the Valentines’. Brazil told Race, “Now we’re even.”

Killer Kowalski came out to challenge Frank Gotch

“I’ve heard all the trash talk, but you are looking at the most feared man in professional wrestling history. I didn’t get the name “Killer” by kissing babies now did I. So I want Mr. Gotch to come on out and see why my claw is the most feared move in the LWF.

Frank Gotch came out to answer Kowalski’s challenge, “Kowalski, I’m not denying your credentials, but when it comes down to it, fear, intimidation, monikers, nicknames don’t phase me a bit. All it takes is for one second for me to grab your rickety old knees and make…you….tap!”

8) In the finals of the LWF Tag Title Tournament, Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff beat The Valiants to win the vacant LWF Tag Titles when Volkoff pinned Jimmy Valiant after a running stomp

The Road Warriors stormed the ring and gave Jimmy a vicious double clothesline, helping Sheik and Volkoff to the win


9) LWF Champ Gorgeous George beat Jimmy Snuka with the Gorgeous Grip

Buddy Rogers, who was at ringside helping with commentary, blasted his tag partner Snuka with a chair, helping George win. As George pranced around the ring after the win, Snuka recovered to deliver a flying headbutt to George and give him a SUPERFLY LEAP through a table. Gorgeous George out 5

1) Buddy Rose pinned Ox Baker after the brainbuster

- Sam Muchnick came out to address the capacity crowd, “It’s not my style to come out and be a showman. My job is to put on the best possible show for our great fans. That being said, I’ve seen a rash of interference in title matches, and let me tell you, belts may be “props” to some federations, but not here. So if there is any interference in title matches, be prepared for the consequences.”

2) The Road Warriors beat King Kong Bundy & Virgil when Hawk pinned Virgil after a spike piledriver.

-Virgil lay motionless after the devastating piledriver. As Bundy tried to help out Virgil, the Warriors chased him out, with Hawk yelling, “Hey fat ass, if you don’t want to join up with Virgie in that hospital bed, I’d advise you to get the hell out of ring.”

Animal continued, “Tell him Hawk. You know something, we’ve been the most dominant tag team in the history of pro wrestling, but what’s wrong with this picture? You’re right, the LWF Tag Titles aren’t’ around our waist. Something’s not right when the only competition out there is chumps like the Valiants or Sheik & Volkoff. So let this be a warning, and ask Virgil about a warning from the Road Warriors…all teams are put on notice until those belts are around our stinking waste.”

Hawk, of course, ended with, “Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh whattaaaaaaaaaaaaa rushhhhhhhh!”

Killer Kowalski stormed out and demanded a rematch against Frank Gotch and the US Title. “That guy used all of the most underhanded tactics to beat me on the last card, which means his reputation precedes him. But how bout if I put this claw hold on that little pea head of yours and pop it like a zit.”

This brought out Gotch, “Hey Kowalski, I’m not coming out here and say I’m some goody two shoes...I do what it takes to keep this title around my waist. If you’re man enough to take it…come do it.”

Kowalski answered the challenge, “Gotch, I’ll do you one better little man. If I don’t win with my claw hold, I’ll leave the LWF. That’s how confident I am.”

3) Killer Kowalski beat Frank Gotch with the CLAW HOLD to win the US Title.

Kowalski won the match after ramming Gotch’s head into an exposed steel turnbuckle, leaving Gotch an easy victim to Kowalski’s feared claw.

Buddy Rogers came out to address why he attacked Snuka. “The $64,000 question the past week has been why Buddy Rogers took out Jimmy Snuka. I took Snuka under my wing and helped him win the LWF Tag titles, even though it mostly due to my superior athletic ability. But I get injured and what does he do? He takes a title shot that would have been mine when I returned. That’s some gratitude and way to repay a fan isn’t it you savage. But since I’m out for a few more weeks, I’m giving anyone in the back to earn some cash. Take out Snuka for being an ungrateful little punk.”

Nick Bockwinkel came out, “Buddy, I’m personally not interested in the money because, if you live in Beverly Hills, you won’t’ be short on money. I am interested in getting Snuka in the ring, because whether you or I like it or not, he is one of the top contenders in the LWF. So a win over him will only put me in title contention. So keep your bounty because I’m no coward. When I get that title, you’ll be first on my list Mr. Rogers.”

4) Nick Bockwinkel beat Jimmy Snuka by DQ when Snuka gave the ref a headbutt as he was pounding on Bockwinkel in the corner.

Harley Race came out and asked Bobo Brazil to join him. “Look Bobo, you know myself and you will never be friends. But it seems as if we may have a common enemy in the Valentines. So tonight, for one night only as a treat to the fans, how about you teaming up with myself to take those two blonde punks out?”

Brazil looked at approval from the fans, who were giving him a 50-50 approval to team up with Race. Finally, Brazil said, “OK Race, one night only against a common enemy.”

Brazil reached out to shake his hand, but Race walked out of the ring.

5) LWF Tag Champs Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff beat The Valiants by DQ when the ref caught Jimmy Valiant choking Sheik with the tag rope.

- As Nikita Breznikov distracted Jimmy and the ref, Volkoff grabbed his Russian flag and nailed Johnny Valiant in the throat. Johnny Valiant injured 4[/u]


6) Harley Race & Bobo Brazil beat Johnny & Greg Valentine when Race pinned Greg following a diving head butt.

Brazil and Race grudgingly shook hands after the match, but as Brazil walked and turned away, Race tried to attack him. But Brazil gave him a huge backdrop over the top rope.
