West Coast Championship Wrestling Saturday, March 3, 2007 MGM Grand, Las Vegas, NV
Johnny and Jimmy Valiant are already in the ring when the familiar music of The Midnight Express starts up. Jim Cornett comes out with "Sweet" Stan Lane, "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton and "Loverboy" Dennis Condrey in tow.
NWA Tag Team Title Tourny The Valiants vs. The Midnight Express Lane and Eaton: The Midnight Express proved to be a little too much for the Valiants. Although The Valiants had a huge effort. Johnny Valiant whipped Lane into the ropes and bent down for a "back body drop" but Lane grabbed him and executed a picture perfect "piledriver". Lane tagged to Eaton and they executed a "ROCKET LAUNCHER" but Jimmy made the save. Bobby Eaton then made a tag and he and Lane hit the "VEG-O-MATIC" but Jimmy once again made the save. Eaton punched Jimmy out of the ring and "Sweet" Stan hit the "SUPERKICK" for the victory. 19:45 The Express advance in the NWA Tag Tourny.
Jim Ross: "Good Ol' J.R. here and what a show we have for you this evening. You just saw The Midnight Express move on in their quest to become the first NWA Tag Team Champions. Also tonight is the first round of a tournament to crown a West Coast Champion. And also in another match in the NWA Tag Team Tourny, The Killer Bees go up against the team of Red Bastien and Billy "Red" Lyons."
**"Everybody Has A Price" starts to blare through the system which could mean only one thing. Ted DiBiase with his servant Virgil.
Ted DiBiase W/Virgil vs. S.D. Jones: DiBiase went for a "knife edge chop" which was blocked by Jones. Jones lifted DiBiase for a suplex, hit it and went for a quick cover and GOT THE 3 COUNT! S.D. Jones got up and looked like he had just won the NWA Title. 1:01 Virgil stormed the ring and Jones scrambled out. DiBiase was in a state of disbelief. He finally realized what happened and got in the face of the ref complaining about the tights being pulled.
Ross: "Special Delivery certainly had a package for "The Million Dollar Man" didn't he! Huge upset by the man from Philadelphia. When we come back from the break, The Killer Bees face Bastien and Lyons."
commercial
NWA Tag Team Title Tourny The Killer Bees vs. Red Bastien and Red Lyons: Bastien and Lyons could not get any sustained offense going. Blair put a "SLEEPER" on Bastien but Red was able to get to the ropes. Blair locked the "SLEEPER" on again with the same result. Blair tagged in Brunzell who went up top and hit the "KILLER DROPKICK" for the victory. 9:57
Backstage the camera focuses in on a dressing room door. Beyond the door a lot of yelling can be heard. The door opens and an irate "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase is yelling and throwing stuff.
DiBiase: "It's plainly obvious that Jones held my tights. There is no way that he could beat me. I want a damn rematch; And what "The Million Dollar Man" wants; I GET!!"
Ed "Strangler" Lewis vs. Jimmy Snuka: "The Strangler" wrapped Snuka in a "half nelson" and then followed up by whipping him into the turnbuckle. But Snuka used his speed advantage to get out of the way. Snuka landed a couple "piledrivers" before landing a "SUPERFLY LEAP" for the victory. 4:50

West Coast Championship Tourny; First round Mil Mascaras vs. Curt Hennig: Mascaras started the match with a "standing surfboard" that had Hennig reeling early. Hennig and Mascaras would counter each other several times throughout the match. Mascaras took Hennig to the outside and hit a "corkscrew plancha". He threw him back in the ring and hit a "standing dropkick. Hennig came back however and locked on a "sleeper", then hit a "standing dropkick". Hennig hit "The Axe" and it looked like he may have him in trouble. Curt threw Mil out of the ring and went up top for a "double ax handle" but Mascaras moved and Hennig crashed to the outside. Mascaras hit a "slingshot plancha" before finishing him with a "FLYING BODY PRESS" 6:37
Todd Grisham is backstage with Nick Bockwinkle.
Grisham: "Mr. Bockwinkle. Your match in this tournament is in a little bit. Can I get your thoughts on the match against George Hackinshmidt."
Bockwinkle: "You want my thoughts? Hes not me...thats my thought. Mr. Hackinshmidt....your an impressive kid. I'll give you that. But you don't have what it takes to beat me. Call it intestinal fortitude. Call it what you want. You don't have a chance."
West Coast Championship Tourny; First round Bobo Brazil vs. The Crusher: Bobo Brazil looked very focused as he entered the ring. Crusher locked on a "crushing headlock" but Brazil countered with a "big hammer punch". Bobo hit another "big hammer punch" for the 1-2-NO! Brazil locked on a "bearhug" and after 45 seconds Crusher tapped out. 2:40
J.R.: "I don't think I have ever seen Crusher lose like that before. Bobo Brazil certainly means business in this tournament."

Back on the air you see a beach with beautiful women running around in bikinis. The camera pans around and you see a well tanned guy sitting in a lawn chair being messaged by 2 gorgeous women while sipping a dacari. He lowers his shades, winks and smiles at the camera and goes back to what he was doing. The caption reads, "Don Muraco is coming to West Coast Championship Wrestling!"
J.R.: "Don Muraco is championship quality and I can't wait to see him appear here in West Coast Championship Wrestling."
West Coast Championship Tourny; First Round Nick Bockwinkle vs. George Hackenshmidt: Before the match starts, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan comes out and sits ringside. Bockwinkle starts by throwing Hack into the turnbuckle and hitting a huge "knee lift". George appeared out of it at this point. Nick threw George out of the ring and smashed his head into a table at ringside. George was rolled back into the ring. Nick followed and hit a "knee smash to the back". and got a 2 count. Nick locked on the "FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK" but George got to the ropes to break it. Nick slapped it on again and again Hack got to the ropes. Bockwinkle slapped on the "FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK" one more time and Hackenscmidt had to tap from the pain. 4:51
Without expression, Bobby Heenan just stood up and walked to the back.
Nick Bockwinkle will face Bobo Brazil in the semi finals.

J.R.: "This is the main event of the evening fans and I would like to thank you for checking out this edition of West Coast Championship Wrestling. We hope to bring more action in the near future. But on to the main event. This match is not only a first round match for the West Coast Championship but is also a battle of the big men as Bruiser Brody faces Don Leo Johnathon. Lets go to the ring."
West Coast Championship Tourny; First Round Bruiser Brody vs. Don Leo Jonathan: These 2 big guys wailed on each other early and often. Don Leo, a very impressive big man nailed a couple "big dropkicks" and a "sidekick to the throat" on Brody. Brody was in trouble. Jonathan continuously threw Brody into the turnbuckle and hit him with "shoulder tackles" and "clotheslines". Don Leos mistake came when Brody countered a double forearm clap and hit the "Bruiser Backbreaker" for a 2 count. A "twisting verticle suplex" and "one hand body slam" were followed by a "clothesline" that knocked Jonathan down for the 3 count. 10:33
Bruiser Brody faces Mil Mascaras in the semi finals for the West Coast Championship.

Awesome!
It looks like you have 2 great feds going with East Coast and now West Coast Championship Wrestling.
It was cool how this show took place on the Strip from here in Las Vegas. S.D. Jones over the Million Dolar Man was a surprising upset. I also liked your tournaments and the promo for the upcoming arrival of Don Muraco.
Good job Sickman74.

Video airs of last weeks action. S.D. Jones upset victory and celebration over Ted DiBiase. Mascaras, Brazil, Bockwinkle and Brody winning in the WCCW Championship tourny.
Jim Ross: "Fans, thank you for tuning in to West Coast Championship Wrestling. We have an exciting show for you this evening but lets go to the ring for our first match."
Ted Dibiase vs. S.D. Jones: DiBiase jumped on offense and stayed that way. He locked on the "MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER" but Jones made the ropes. He locked it on again and again Jones made the ropes. DiBiase softened Jones up more and then locked in the "figure four leglock" for the victory. 4:29
Ross: "A little retribution for DiBiase tonight. Fans. The NWA Tag Team Title tourny continues this evening as The Kangaroos take on The Midnight Express and The Road Warriors go against The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff. Thats not all. The semi finals of the WCCW Championship takes place as well. Nick Bockwinkle faces Bobo Brazil. Bruiser Brody takes on Mil Mascaras. And more. Stay tuned."
commercial
Jimmy Snuka vs. Cowboy Bob Orton: Jimmy Snuka took advantage of a mistake by Orton and nailed a "piledriver". Snuka then hit Orton with a "power slam" for the win. 3:55
As Snuka is celebrating, Bob Orton Sr. runs in from behind and clubs Snuka in the head with his forearm. Orton Sr. locks on a "stepover toehold" and Orton Jr. recovers and hits Snuka with an "atomic kneedrop". Snuka is writhing in pain as the Ortons raise their hands and leave.
As the Ortons walk through the back, Todd Grisham is there.
Grisham: "Guys. Why the attack on Snuka?"
Orton Sr.: "There is no place in this business for cheaters and that punk cheated my boy. He pulled the boys tights and that will not happen as long as I'm here in WCCW.
Orton Jr.: "Not only is he a cheat. But there ain't no room for coconut eatin' b******s here neither. When that wild eyed ape wakes up; tell him to go back to the Conga or where ever he's from."
The Ortons walk off.
Ross: "Well, even at my age I sure as hell didn't see any tight pulling. Be that as it may, we have the first of two semi final tag matches coming right now."
NWA Tag Team Tourny Fabulous Kangaroos W/Red Berry vs. The Midnight Express W/Jim Cornette: Eaton landed a "stinging right hand" on to Costello. He tagged in Lane who hit the "SUPERKICK" but only got a 2. Stan Lane hit a "Midnight Lariat" and then an "enziguri" and tagged out to Eaton. Eaton threw Costello out of the ring. When Eaton went out after him, Costello grabbed him and whipped him into the ring post. Costello and Heffernan hit a "BOOMERANG" but Eaton kicked out. Berry got on the apron and distracted the ref while Heffernan and Costello double teamed. Cornette protested but the ref got in his face. Heffernan hit a "Kangaroo Kick" for the victory. 8:10 The Kangaroos will take on the winner of the Road Warrior/Sheik & Volkoff contest.

**You hear the sounds of Hawaiian music and pictures of a beach sunset. Then some palm trees. A hut is shown and inside the hut you see a man getting a message from a beautiful Hawaiian lady. The man lifts his head.
"I am the Mr. Don Muraco. And I will be coming to the WCCW very soon. And my arrival will be nothing short of.........MAGNIFICANT. Ohhhh yeah; that feels soooo gooood."
Ross: "Muraco is on his way to West Coast Championship Wrestling. Coming next fans is the most interesting character in WCCW to say the least. The Missing Link faces Greg "The Hammer" Valentine in mere seconds.
Missing Link vs. Greg "The Hammer" Valentine: Missing Link hit a "shoulder tackle" and Valentine tried to leave the ring. Link grabbed him, brought him back in the ring and then decided to throw him out on the other side. Link and The Hammer brawled outside for a while with Valentine getting the advantage. Link rolled into the ring with Valentine following after. Valentine grabbed Link and threw him out again. Greg grabbed Link and rammed his head into the ring post. The ref had enough and DQ'd Greg for the act. Link wins via DQ. 2:58
Ross: "More of a brawl then anything fans. Todd Grisham is standing by in the back with "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase."
Grisham: "Thanks Jim. Mr. DiBiase, could you please comment on your victory this evening?"
DiBiase: "You want a comment on my victory? I told everyone that last week was a fluke. And look what happened to SmackDown Jones. But Todd, something is missing in this place. And I'm not talking about the fact that Virgil is not here at this moment."
Grisham: "Where is Virgil if I may ask?"
DiBiase: "He's taking care of some business. But thats not the point. The point is this; Money Inc. is about to reform. And it starts soon. And remember what I always say...................Everyone has a price. HAHAHAHA!!"
commercial
WCCW Championship Tourny semi-finals Nick Bockwinkle vs. Bobo Brazil: Bockwinkles speed advantage worked in his favor numerous times, as Bockwinkle would escape danger a couple times. Nick locked on a "FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK" but Brazil made it to the ropes. Nick released the hold, pulled Brazil back to the center of the ring and applied the "FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK" again for the victory. 11:31 Nick Bockwinkle advances to the finals of the WCCW Championship Tourny.
Ross: "Nick Bockwinkle continues to impress and will face the winner of the Bruiser Brody/Mil Mascaras main event. Our next match is a semi final match in the NWA Tag Team Tournament."
NWA Tag Team Title Tournament The Road Warriors vs. Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff: Both teams proved why they are in the semis. Both teams traded offense. Both teams countered each other. Neither team had the clear cut advantage. Iron Sheik tried to make Animal submit with a "COBRA CLUTCH" but Animal made the ropes. After severa; minutes passed, Hawk tried a pin on Iron Sheik after a "verticle suplex" but only got a 2. Hawk tagged Animal in for the "DOOMSDAY DEVICE". Volkoff tried to make the save but Hawk was there to keep him away. Iron Sheik was down for the 1-2-3. 17:03 The Road Warriors will take on The Fabulous Kangaroos.
Ross: "The Road Warriors advance to the finals in the tournament to crown the NWA Tag Team Champions. And even though they face The Fabulous Kangaroos; one has to believe that The Road Warriors are the odds on favorite to capture the NWA Tag Titles. When we come out of break, our main event between Bruiser Brody and Mil Mascaras in the semi finals of the WCCW Championship Tourny will happen. Fans, you don't want to miss that."
commercial
WCCW Championship Tourny semi finals: winner to face Nick Bockwinkle next week Bruiser Brody vs. Mil Mascaras: As Brody was coming to the ring, it seemed as if he was not his usual self. He seemed droggy. Mascaras sensing that, immediately went on the offense. A defenseless Brody fell victim to the "CROSSBODY ATTACK". 2:07
End Of Show
Next Week **Will Jimmy Snuka have an answer for the Ortons?
**The reasoning behind Brody seeming not himself
**The WCCW Championship finale: Nick Bockwinkle vs. Mil Mascaras

Another really good card Sickman.
I like what is happening between Snuka and the Ortons. My picks to win the final round of your tournaments are Bockwinkel and the Road Warriors.

Jim Ross: "Fans, do we have a show for you. Besides our main event, which I will get to in a minute; we have 5 other matches for you this evening. The battle of the big men as Bobo Brazil will face Bruiser Brody. Don Leo Johnathon will take on George Hackinshcmidt. The Road Warriors get to take out some frustrations on The Ortons after losing the first NWA Tag Team Title match last Sunday. And our main event is the finals of the WCCW Chamionship tournament as Nick Bockwinkle goes against Mil Mascaras. Lets go to the ring fans.
The Crusher vs. Danny Doring: The match ended in a double disqualification as Crusher threw Doring out of the ring and they fought all the way to the back. 6:47
**Backstage: Mil Mascaras is getting ready for tonight when a pair of familiar boots come into the picture. Mascaras looks up and their stands 6' 7" Bruiser Brody.
Brody: "Cops found sleeping pills in my drink last week. I sure as hell didn't put them there. And since you had something to gain by beating me, my investigation begins with you."
Mascaras: "Look Brody. I have tremendous respect for you. I would never do that to anyone. I'm a man of honor. I don't know how you could think that I would do this to you. But I will tell you this. After I beat Bockwinkle tonight, you get the first title shot."
Brody: "I knew you didn't do it. Just wanted to light a fire under your a**. See you next week............CHAMP!!"
J.R.: "Brody conducting his own investigation? That can't be good."
commercial:
Larry Zbyszko vs. Ilio Dipaolo: Both wrestlers went on sustained offense for a few minutes a piece. The finish came when Dipaolo made the cover following the "AIRPLANE SPIN" but Zbyszko kicked out. After Zbyszko countered a "rolling short arm scissors" he nailed Ilio with the "PILEDRIVER" for the victory. 29:55
J.R.: "An absolutely incredible match between those two wrestlers. Fans, because of the length of that match we have to take a break. When we return, more great action!"
commercial
Don Leo Johnathon vs. George Hackenschmidt: Another good match. Hack was in control for much of the match. He applied the "RUSSIAN BEAR HUG" on 3 different occasions, but Don Leo would not submit. After a fatal error by Hack, Don Leo delivered the "MORMON SWING" for the win. 14:47
**In the background of a beautiful blue sky is a jet sitting on a run way. 3 lovely ladies are standing near the staircase leading into the jet. A limo pulls up and out steps the driver, who proceeds to walk to the back of the car to open the door. Out steps Don Muraco. He starts to make his way to the jet.
Muraco: "My fans in WCCW, your wait is over. Next Saturday will be.....................MAGNIFICANT!!"
commercial
Ross: "What an announcement before the last break. Don Muraco debuts next week! Fans I can not wait for that. Lets go to the ring."
Bobo Brazil vs. Bruiser Brody: Brody was on a mission. "Bruiser Backbreaker" followed by the "JUMPING KNEE DROP" for the win. 0:33
Ross: "Brody must have hit that just right to defeat a caliber opponent in Brazil that easily. Very impressive.
Todd Grisham: "I am backstage here with Nick Bockwinkle. Mr. Bockwinkle, you have the chance to become the first WCCW Champ. What are your thoughts heading into the match tonight against Mil Mascaras."
Bockwinkle: "Mascaras is a great wrestler. But he better remember who the heck I am. I am Mr. Bockwinkle and I will not lose to him tonight or any other night. Your looking at the champ!"
The Road Warriors vs. The Ortons: The Road Warriors were dominating the match when NWA Tag Team Champs The Fabulous Kangaroos interfered when Al Costello hit Orton Jr. in the back of the head with a boomerang while he was on the outside of the ring!?
As the Kangaroos left, they were laughing and pointing at The Warriors.
Ross: "What the hell was that about? The Kangaroos get The Warriors DQ'd against the Ortons? Why?"
The Warriors left the ring and as Orton Sr. was tending to Jr., Jimmy Snuka slid into the ring and climbed the turnbuckle. Before Orton Sr could respond, Snuka leaped with a flying crossbody hitting both Ortons. He continued to wail on both of them until security came.
commercial
West Coast Championship Wrestling Championship: Nick Bockwinkle vs. Mil Mascaras: In this corner, standing 5' 11" weighing in at 245 LBS and hailing from San Luis Potosi, Mexico.................Milll Mascaras! And in this corner, standing at 6' 1" weighing in at 245 LBS and hailing from Beverly Hills, California.............Nick Bockwinkle!
Bobby Heenan came to ringside before the match started. Bockwinkle locked on a "Boston Crab" early and Mil got to the ropes to break the hold. Then mil went to the offense and locked in a "standing surfboard" that almost caused Nick to tap but he was able to with stand the hold. Bockwinkle threw Mascaras out of the rig and a huge brawl started between the two. As they were fighting and the ref was trying to restrain them, Heenan walked up behind Mil and tapped him on the shoulders. When Mil turned around, Heenan spat in his face! Heenan turned and ran with Mil giving chase. Bockwinkle slid into the ring and ducked to the outside of the otherside of the ring. When Heenan passed Nick, he stood up and nailed Mil with a clothesline. Nick threw him back into the ring and locked in a "FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK" but Mil got to the rope. Bockwinkle locked in the "FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK" a second time but again Mil made the ropes. Undeterred, Bockwinkle slid on the "BOCKWINKLE SLEEPER" for the victory! 6:08
Bobby Heenan gets in the ring and raises the right arm of Bockwinkle as the ref puts the title around Nicks waist.

Saturday, card #4 MGM Grand. Las Vegas, NV
Missing Link vs. Greg Valentine: A rematch from two weeks ago that ended in Valentine getting DQ'd. Both men countered each other on several occasions. missing Link was able to hit the "BACK FLYING HEAD BUTT" but Valentine was able to kick out. Valentine would not kick out after a "falling head butt" though. 9:21
**A video recap is shown of Nick Bockwinkles victory over Mil Mascaras for the previously vacant WCCW championship.**
Ross: "Hello fans; I'm Jim Ross. What a show we have this evening with the debut of Don Muraco and the main event is a #1 contenders match for the WCCW Championship as Bruiser Brody takes on Mil Mascaras. But last week fans, was a landmark day for WCCW. The crowning of the first West Coast Championship Wrestling Champion was a huge event. And speaking of huge events; The NWA committee has informed me that they will be holding the first multi fed show in a month called Clash Of The Champions. The show will be coming from Charlotte, North Carolina. ECW, CSW and WCCW will all have matches on the card as well as a surprise addition to the NWA; what ever that means. But enough of me blabbing. On to the ring."
Jimmy Snuka vs. Bob Orton Sr. W/Cowboy Bob Orton: The hatred between these two men showed. A vicious battle. Orton's chest was beat red after withstanding all of Snukas chops. Orton would kick out of 2 "SUPERFLY LEAPS" but not a third as Jimmy Snuka gets the win. 21:36 After the match, Cowboy Bob Orton tried to attack Snuka but he met with a series of chops as well and scrambled to the floor.
Ross: "This night belongs to Jimmy Snuka. That was an incredible bout. After the break we will have a battle between some big hitters as Crusher takes on George Hackinshmidt."
commercial
The Crusher vs. Hackenshmidt: Incredibly quick win for Hackenshmidt. He locked in the "RUSSIAN BEAR HUG" to get the victory. 1:03
Grisham: "I'm back stage here with Bruiser Brody. Bruiser, you requested this time to..........
Brody: "I didn't request crap. I'm taking this time to tell everyone in the locker room. A few weeks ago, a narcotic was slipped into my drink before my match with Mascaras. So the person or persons involved better come forward this evening or I'm going to start with the bottom of the roster and work my way through it until everyone has been laid to waste."
Ross: "Wow. Brody is already a fiery individual. Lets go to the ring."
Curt Hennig vs. "Playboy" Buddy Rose: Buddy Rose absolutely dominated this match from the start. Hennig was busted open after repeated uses of a foreign object by Rose. Hennig finally fell to a second "BOMBS AWAY" 8:18
Ross: "I have never seen Curt Hennig get beat that badly before. When we get back from break is the long awaited debut of "Mr. Hawaii"."
commercial
Don Muraco vs. Danny Doring: Doring tried a "shoulder block" but was taken down hard by Muraco. Muraco then lifted Doring up for a "vertical suplex" and the pin. a 00:47 victory for the "Magnificant" one.
Ross: "Doring ran into a dump truck right there. Todd Grisham is standing by backstage with the West Coast Champion, Nick Bockwinkle and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan."
Grisham: "Thank you Jim. I am here with the champ Nick Bockwinkle........
Heenan: "No you moron. You are not here with Nick Bockwinkle. You are here with MISTER Bockwinkle. MISTER."
Grisham: "O.k., I'm here with MISTER Bockwinkle and last week you defeated Mil Mascaras for this title but some controversy along the way as you MISTER Heenan got involved in the match causing Mascaras to lose."
Heenan: "You simpleton. Mil Mascaras insulted me while I was at ringside minding my own business. And when he was outside the ring, I spat at him because he really hurt my feelings. And then he ran after me like the idiot......I mean, temper mental guy he is and Mr. Bockwinkle took advantage of it. Don't screw up facts just for a story Todd."
Grisham: "Right. My apologies. Tonight Mr. Bockwinkle is a #1 contenders match for your title between Bruiser Bordy and Mil Mascaras. Who would you rather face.?"
Bockwinkle: "Well Todd, it doesn't really matter. Because at the end of the day, I'm better than either of those gentlemen."
Grisham: "Thank you gentlemen for your time.........what are you two doing here?"
*Orton Sr. holding his head and "Cowboy" Bob appear.
"Cowboy" Bob Orton: "That coconut eaten some b***h isn't getting away with his constant cheating. You saw the way he cheated my paw. You and me next week wild eyed jungle monkey and I'll shove those coconuts up year a**."
Grisham: "Back to you Jim before the FCC gets mad at us."
Ross: "That will be a slobber knocker for sure. An interesting match we have coming up as Larry Zbyszko takes on Don Leo Johnathon."
Zbyszko vs Don Leo Jonathan: Don Leo swatted Larry like a fly the few offensive moves he tried. Jonathan then nailed Zbyszko with three straight "MORMON SWING"s for the victory. 3:52. Jonathan has been on a roll lately.
Ross: Fans our main event is next. Stay tuned."
#1 contenders match for WCCW Championship Bruiser Brody vs. Mil Mascaras: Mil Mascaras has Brody's number. The speedy guy from Mexico was all over the ring and Brody couldn't catch him. Mascaras was able to lock on a "bow and arrow" on Brody and Brody broke the hold. Mascaras then locked in an "octopus hold" but Brody made it to the ropes. Mascaras tried a "slingshot plancha" but Brody kicked out. Mascaras went up top but Brody grabbed him and threw him to the mat. Before Mil could get up, Brody hit the "JUMPING KNEE DROP" for the victory. 7:59 Bruiser Brody is the #1 contender to the title.
**Before Brody could celebrate, a video airs of the Million Dollar Man interview from a couple weeks ago. As he is asked where Virgil is, DiBiase says that he is taking care of business. Then the video switches to a bald black man going through a bag in what appears to be the locker room. The man turns around to leave and it is Virgil and the name plate of the locker is Bruiser Brody.**

"The Body": "The pleasure is all yours Ross." This show is already better with me on it."
Ross: "Be that as it may. Fans we have an excellant show for you this evening. Headlined by the main event as Bruiser Brody challenges Virgil. Last week fans, we found out that it was Virgil that put the crumpled sleeping pills in Brodys drink a few weeks ago. And Brody wants revenge."
Ventura: "My first show here on TBS may see a death. Welcome to WCCW!"
Ross: "Lets go to the ring."
Missing Link vs. Strangler Lewis: "Strangler" Lewis whipped Link into the turnbuckle and they met each other with clothelines. Lewis was up first and locked in the "STRANGLER'S HEADLOCK" but Link made the ropes for the break. Lewis applied it again and again Link made the ropes. He applied the "STRANGLER'S HEADLOCK" again for the victory as Link passed out from the hold rather then tap. 2:01
Ross: "Lewis makes short work out of The Missling Link. Lets go to the ring for the next match."
The Crusher vs Ilio DiPaolo: DiPaolo hits the "AIRPLANE SPIN" for the victory. 2:43 Crusher has yet to get a victory and the frustration is obvious. After the match, Crusher punched the mat for a minute before leaving.
Ventura: "Ross, I would not want to be the one that Crusher gets a hold of and unleashes that rage."
Ross: "That would definitely not be for the weak of heart."
commercial:
**A sunset from the beach is shown. Beautiful sky and waves crashing on the shore. Don Muraco is shown taking a drink from a coconut as he is messaged by a gorgeous woman.
Muraco: "My fans of WCCW. Don't worry. I will be back next week with a MAGNIFICANT surprise. MUAH"
Ross: "The one man that can make you look tame Jesse."
Ventura: "I don't know what you are talking about Ross."
**Highlight package airs of the fued between Jimmy Snuka and the Ortons.
Jimmy Snuka vs "Cowboy" Bob Orton: "Cowboy" Bob won with a "stepover toehold" 1:56 After the match, Snuka clutched his ankle very quickly. Orton went in for the kill but Bobo Brazil was there immediately. There was a look of concern on the face of Brazil and he motioned to the back for medical assistance.
Ross: "This doesn't look good. We hope to have an update later fans. Lets go to a commercial."
commercial
Buddy Rose vs Curt Hennig: Curt Hennigs music started and he came out. He motioned to the back while standig near the entrance and out came Sherri Martel! This is a rematch from last week in which "Playboy" Buddy Rose won. Different story tonight. With Sherri Martel cheering from outside, Hennig hits the "HENNIG PLEX" for the 1-2-3! 6:18 Martel slides into the ring and raises the arm of her man.
Ross: "With "Sensational" Sherri by his side, Curt Hennig could be in for big things."
Ventura: "Being with "Sensational" Sherri couldn't hurt, thats for sure."
I AM IRON MAN
Ross: "That could only mean one thing. Lets go to the ring."
The Road Warriors vs. Red Lyons and Red Bastien: An incredible upset as Red Bastien uses his "ATOMIC DROP" to pin Hawk. The Road Warriors could not sustain an offense and needed a few pin saves to extend the match. 14:36
Ventura: "I don't believe it Ross. The mighty Warriors have fallen."
Ross: "If I wasn't sitting right here, I wouldn't believe it."
Ventura: "Believe it Ross."
commercial
Ross: "We have just received word that Jimmy Snuka suffered a cracked bone just above his ankle. It doesn't appear to need surgery at this time. Thats good news."
Bruiser Brody vs. Virgil W/Ted DiBiase: Bruiser Brody was distracted by DiBiase to start and Virgil got in some offense, including a pin attempt after a "running tackle" that got a near upset 2 count. But Brody shook it off and hit a "twisting vertical suplex" for the victory. 3:10
Brody, looking for revenge, started to pummel Virgil when DiBiase came into the ring and shoved Brody. Brody got the wild look in his eye and as he grabbed DiBiase and reached back to hit him, Bob Orton Sr. was behind him to chop block the knee of Brody. Brody went down hard. The three men went to work on Brody until security finally came and got them off of him. DiBiase raised the hands of Virgil and Bob Orton Sr.
Ross: "You can bet your a** that Brody comes back next week."

Saturday, card #6 "MGM" Grand, Las Vegas, NV.
Jim Ross: "Hello everyone and welcome to West Coast Championship Wrestling. This is Jim Ross and I'm with my broadcast partner Jesse Ventura. Tonight fans a huge show just 5 days from Clash Of The Champions headlined by Bruiser Brodys continuing fued with DiBiase, Virgil and now apparently Bob Orton Sr., as Brody takes on Bob Orton Sr."
Ventura: "Thats right J.R. I don't know why you pick a fight with Brody but these guys did. Also tonight Ross is a rematch from last week as The Road Warriors take on Red Bastien and Red Lyons."
Ross: "And so much more. Fans lets head to the ring for our first match."
WCCW Champion Nick Bockwinkle W/Bobby Heenan vs "Playboy" Buddy Rose: Non title match. "BOCKWINKLE SLEEPER" and its over. 5:42
After the match, Bobby Heenan gets into the ring with a mic and the WCCW Championship. He hands the belt to Nick and begins to talk.
Heenan: "You cretins are witnessing history everytime this man enters a ring. He is, without a doubt, the best wrestler in the business today........Mr. Bockwinkle." (chrous of boos) Bockwinkle: "Thank you Mr. Heenan. At Clash Of The Champions in a few days. I will be defending this title against Bruiser Brody. Now Mr. Brody, you are a fine specimen. Maybe the toughest in our sport. But you are not me. Lets face facts here. You may be stronger, but I'm faster and smarter. And when all is said and done Mr. Brody. I will walk out of the Clash with my head held high and belt around my waist."
Ross: "Mr. Bockwinkle is ready indeed Jesse."
Ventura: "Of course he is. And I predict right now that Bockwinkle leaves with the belt on Wednesday."
Ross: "We'll be right back."
commercial
**Back from break and the camera is pointing at CSW wrestler Buddy Rogers sitting in the front row. They cut to a "during commercial" spot in which Buddy Rogers came down the stairs to find his seat. The crowd recognized him immediately. Todd Grisham made his way over to him.
Grisham: "'Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers, I guess I have to ask the obvious but....why are you here in WCCW?"
Rogers: "It's well known that the CSW Title will be fought over at Clash Of The Champions. Champion Antonio Rocca vs Iron Sheik. I am the number one contender so while I wait to see what happens between those two. And I curiously don't have a match for Wednesday. I figured that I would come to this territory and challenge someone from here in WCCW."
Grisham: "Who have you selected?"
Rogers: "In due time man. In due time."
The Road Warriors vs. Red Lyons & Red Bastien:Last week, Lyons and Bastien pulled off the incredible upset by defeating The Road Warriors. Red Bastien was isolated for much of the match, as The Warriors used their massive power advantage. At 11:00 of the match, The Warriors hit "THE DOOMSDAY DEVICE" for the victory.
commercial
Bobo Brazil vs Bob Orton Jr.: This match is a result of last week when Orton Jr. hurt Jimmy Snukas' ankle and tried to do severe damage to it. Brazil came to aid Snuka before anythig real bad could happen. Brazil whipped Orton into the ropes and came back with a surprising "cross body" for a quick 2 count. Orton then hit an "atomic kneedrop". Brazil clutched his knee in pain after that. Brazil put up a fight but Orton hit another "atomic kneedrop" to defeat Bobo Brazil. 6:39
Orton Jr. started to stalk his injured foe. Suddenly, Buddy Rogers jumps over the barrier and gets in the ring. He has a look in his eye as he stares at Brazil. That knee must look ripe to the master of the "figure four". Orton can be seen telling Rogers to lock it in. Rogers makes like he is going to go after Brazil but then turns and nails Orton! Rogers repeatedly punches Orton until he falls out of the ring. Rogers helps up Brazil and you can hear him ask, "can you go next Wednesday"? In which the two men shake hands.
Ross: "Is Rogers challenging Bobo Brazil at Clash Jesse?"
Ventura: "It appears that way Ross."
Ross: "Should be a great match as long as Brazil is 100%, he clearly wasn't tonight after that first "atomic kneedrop".
**Muracos' music hits and out walks the Hawaiian one. Trailing right behind him is Sensational Sherrie!
Ross: "Sherrie was with Curt Hennig last week and this week with Muraco? Are both men in her stable?"
Don Muraco W/Sensational Sherrie vs. SD Jones: After a back and forth match, Muraco lost his temper and tied Jones into the ropes and repeatedly punched him bloody. The ref called for the DQ at 11:58.
**A look at Bruiser Brody who is getting psyched for his match against Bob Orton Sr. tonight in the main event.
commercial
Don Leo Jonathon vs. Larry Zbyzsko: Don Leo was dominant. Nailed the "MORMON SWING" for the victory 1:54
Ross: "Wow, Don Leo looked dominant against the "Living Legend" didn't he Jess?"
Ventura: "Don Leo is on a roll J.R. and I'm sure he may be in line for a Championship bout in the near future."
Ross: "Our main event is next folks."
commercial
Bruiser Brody vs. Bob Orton Sr.: Bruiser Brodys' path of destruction continues. He nailed the "JUMPING KNEE DROP" on Orton Sr. for the 1-2-3. 1:58 Bob Orton Jr. tried to sneak Brody from behind but Brody turned and raised the boot into a charging Ortons face. Both Ortons lay motionless as Brody motions that the title will be behind his waist soon.

Don Leo Jonathon vs Greg Valentine: DLJ continues his roll. Valentine kicked out after a "giant swing" but succumbed to the "rolling back splash" 2:28
Todd Grisham: "Todd Grisham here and if you've been watching WCCW television than you know that the lady I'm about to bring out here has been linked to two different wrestlers. The lady I am refering to is Sherrie Martel. And Sherrie, you've been ringside with Curt Hennig as well as Don Muraco in the last few weeks. Are you officially managing both of these men?"
Sherrie Martel: "Why don't you ask them yourself. Come on out boys."
Don Muraco: "Yes she is managing the both of us you skinny little puke. And whether we are in singles or tag matches, you can expect us to be dangerous."
Curt Henning: "Because we are Perfect, Magnificent and Sensationsal."
commerical
Midnight Express(Lane & Eaton) vs. Bastien and Lyons: Midnight Express dominated a team that beat the vaunted Road Warriors. Bastien and Lyons couldn't hang. Lane pinned Bastien after a second consecutive "SUPERKICK". 5:04

Strangler Lewis vs. Ilio DiPaoulo: DiPaoulo made an early mistake and Lewis capitalized. Lewis forces Ilio to tap to the "STRANGLERS HEADLOCK". 8:41
commercial
**Highlights air of the first couple months for Bruiser Brody. Brody losing in the semis of the tourny but found out he was drugged before the match. Brody found out it was Virgil whom he immediately defeated. Orton Sr didn't last long and neither did Orton Jr.; all work for Ted DiBiase.**
George Hackenschmidt vs Crusher: The Crushers losing ways continue. Hackenschmidt beats him easily with the "RUSSIAN BEARHUG". 1:58
Grisham: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome NWA Chairman Bill Watts here. Mr. Watts you have a couple announcements for us today?"
Watts: "In deed I do, thank you Todd. You are all aware that we will be holding an 8 man tourny at the next Clash Of The Champions to crown an NWA Champion. But next week is the start of the 16 man USA Title Tournament here on the WCCW program. With the USA Championship held at the same Clash as the NWA Championship. Also I, along with the rest of the committee, feel that Mil Mascaras should be the new number one contender for the WCCW Title currently held by Nick Bockwinkle. Thanks everyone for your time."
Grisham: "A couple stunning announcements ladies and gentlemen. We will be back after this."
commercial
Grisham: "I'm here with the WCCW Champion, Mr. Bockwinkle and his manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Gentlemen your reaction to the NWA Committee naming Mil Mascaras the number one contender?"
Bockwinkle: "I'll handle this Bobby. How do I feel? I've said all along that there isn't anyone that can beat me. I beat Mascaras for this title already, so he doesn't concern me at all. What are you doing coming out here?"
**DLJ comes out.
Don Leo: "Just wanted to wish you luck against Mascaras. And also to tell you that if you beat him......you'll be staring at me next."
Bockwinkle: "Don't worry about Mascaras beating me. You better just hope that you can make it to a match against me."
Don Leo: "That a threat?"
Bockwinkle: "Nope. Don't make threats. But whatever I say happens."
**The two get nose to nose when officials come in between them to break it up.
Ross: "An intense moment right there Jesse."
Ventura: "Wow Ross....Bockwinkle showed what he's made of there. That would be an intense match."
Larry Zbyszko vs. Jimmy Snuka: Snuka was on top early but he went for a "senton splash" and missed, landing on his head in an awkward manner, giving the momentum to Zbyszko. Larry won after he slammed Snukas' head into the turnbuckle. 3:10
Ross: "Our main event is next fans."
commercial
Bruiser Brody vs. Ted DiBiase W/Virgil, The Ortons: DiBiase held his own but Brody is just too powerful. At the 20:00 mark, Orton Jr. jumped on the apron to distract the ref, Brody moved in to confront him but Orton Sr. came from behind with a chop block. The ref called for the DQ but they weren't done. The Ortons, joined by Virgil, went after the injured knee of Brody. Ted DiBiase then joined in and it was 4 on one. Mil Mascaras came in to help but the Ortons jumped on him before he could do anything. The Million Dollar Team raised their arms in victory in leaving Brody and Mascaras in the ring broken and bruised.

US Title tournament first round match #6 Ed "Strangler" Lewis(WCCW) vs #11 Don Muraco W/Sherrie Martel(WCCW): A sign in the crowd read: Perfect Magnificent Sensational
Lewis couldn't sustain any offense. Muraco hit the "HAWAIIAN HAMMER" for the victory. 3:03
Ross: Muraco moves on in the tourny. I'm surprised that Lewis went down so easy."
Ventura: "He spends a lot of time training so yeah it is a surprise but Muraco isn't a chump."
Crusher vs. Doring: Back and forth but Crusher won after a "CRUSHER BOLO" 8:42
commercial
Midnight Express vs. The Valiants: Express went on a roll. "Double Goozle" for a cover by Dennis Condrey but Jimmy was too close to the ropes. "ROCKET LAUNCHER" but Jimmy kicked out of it. "VEG-O-MATIC" but Johnny made the pin save. Finally Johnny was able to make the tag. He threw Bobby out of the ring and hit him with a chair for the DQ. Express win by disqualification @ 4:00
commercial
Grisham: "Todd Grisham here and I'm with WCCW Champion Mr. Bockwinkle and his manager Mr. Heenan. Gentlemen, what of your match here this evening gaainst Jimmy Snuka?"
Heenan: "I don't like it. This is a man who should be training for the NWA Championship tournament. Not beating up some, how did the Ortons put it? Coconut eating bastards."
Bockwinkle: "It's ok Bobby. Look Snuka; you're impressive. No doubt about it. But you are not me. And just like I've said time and again.....I am the greatest wrestler around. Go ask Mascaras and Brody. You'll fall just like them. Oh and DLJ; good luck in your match tonight!!"
US Title tournament first round match #3 Mil Mascaras vs. #14 Buff Bagwell: Mascaras hit a quick "FLYING BODYPRESS" for a 2 count. He threw Bagwell outside and went for a "Corkscrew Pescado" but Bagwell moved. Bagwell then hit the "BUFF BLOCKBUSTER" for 2. He hit another "BUFF BLOCKBUSTER" for 2 as well. A third "BUFF BLOCKBUSTER" could not put Mascaras down. Bagwell threw Mil out of the ring and went out after him. They brawled with each other until Mascaras became to wild for the ref to handle. The ref DQ'd Mascaras and awarded the win to Bagwell @ 5:01
Angry fans were cussing and throwing things at the ref, whom had to be escorted out of the arena by security. It took about 15 minutes to restore order.
Old clips of The Andy Griffith Show are shown.
Ross: "We are back fans. As you can see the arena is a little less packed as it was. There is no place for that kind of stuff in sports. Fans are passionate, we know that. But that kind of non-sense will not be tolerated. Write your dissatisfaction in a blog, but don't start a riot. My vent is over; lets enjoy the rest of the night."
US Title tournament first round match
#2 DLJ vs. #15 Larry Zbyszko: DLJ had momentum until The Ortons came out and distracted DLJ. Zbyszko was able to take advantage. Zbyszko hit a "PILEDRIVER" for a 2 count. He then rammed DLJ's head into the turnbuckle and could be seen taking off the pad. He rammed DLJ's head into the exposed turnbuckle and nailed a "PILEDRIVER" for the victory 8:19
Ross: "The 2nd seed in the tourny has fallen thanks to the Ortons. Now this is an upset."
Ventura: "Zbyszko is no slouch either but DLJ was a train rolling down the tracks and Larry stopped him."
Ross: "What do you mean Larry stopped him? Did you not see the Ortons?"
Ventura: "They never touched him. DLJ needs a killer instinct."
commercial
WCCW Champion Nick Bockwinkle W/ Bobby Heenan vs. Jimmy Snuka: Snuka had the champ reeling. He put his speed and power advantage to good use. Snuka landed a "piledriver" and almsot got the three but Heenan jumped on the apron and distracted the ref. He quickly jumped back off. Snuka threw Bockwinkle out of the ring and went after him. But Bockwinkle saw him coming and reversed Snuka into the ring pole. Back inside the ring, Bockwinkle clinched the "FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK" for the win. 13:32
Ross: "Snuka had him beat and that "weasal" Bobby Heenan cost him the match. As great as Bockwinkle is, why does he need Bobby?"
Ventura: "Because Heenan makes Champions. He says so himself."
Ross: "Well, we'll see what Snuka thinks about this next week fans."

WCCW card #9 "The Pit", Albeqerce, NM.
Dark Match: Winner gets a shot in WCCW Angelo Mosca vs Fritz Von Goering: Von Goering made easy work of Mosca. At 2:38 Goering beat Mosca with the "BACKBREAKER".
**Pyro goes off and the video montage to start the show comes up**
Ross: "Welcome everyone to Monday Night Nitro here on TBS. I'm Jim Ross next to my broadcast partner Jese "The Body" Ventura. Our main event tonight is for the WCCW Championship as Nick Bockwinkle defends against #1 contender Mil Mascaras.
Ventura: "That will be quite a match but I predict Bockwinkle stepping up and retaining the title tonight."
Ross: "Lets go to the rig for our first match."
Ilio DiPaolo vs Ed "Strangler" Lewis: Lewis destroyed DiPaolo. He locked DiPaolo with a "full nelson" but Ilio made the ropes. A "bear hug and leg trip" couldn't quite do it. So he hit another. DiPaolo still kicked out. But no getting out of the "STRANGLER'S HEADLOCK" for the victory @ 3:19
Ross: "Lewis obviously still ticked from losing to Don Muraco last week in the US Title tournament."
**Dennis Condrey, Bobby Eaton, Stan Lane and Jim Cornette are discussing something in their locker room when there is a knock on the door.**
Jim Cornette: "YEAH, What do ya want?
Tom Prichard: "Greetings from an old friend!!"
Stan Lane is the first to jump up........."Man is it good to see you! When did you get here?"
Prichard: "Just got here. Wanted to surprise ya."
Cornette reaches over and shakes Prichards hand, then Bobby does. Dennis does also but in the way Virgil Earp shakes hands with Doc Holiday in Tombstone.
Lane: "Well hell. Dennis and Bobby have a match right now, why don't you come out with us?"
Prichard: "Let's go!"
The Midnight Express (Condrey and Eaton) vs. The Valiants: Second week in a row a match between these 2 ends in a disqualification. Valiant threw Condrey out of the ring and both teams brawled. Ref threw the match out. Stan Lane "SUPERKICK"ed Johnny and then Tom Prichard put the boots to him while Dennis and Bobby beat up Jimmy. The Valiants are beaten and knocked down.
commercial
Don Leo Jonathan vs Bob Orton Jr.: DLJ dominated. Orton got a couple moves in but DLJ kept beating on him. DLJ finally ended it with an "atomic drop" 7:22
**Bob Orton Sr. comes out and he and DLJ go toe to toe with DLJ gettig the better of it and standing tall mid ring.**
US Title Tournament: second round match: Don Muraco W/Sherrie Martel vs. Buff Bagwell: The one sided match continues. Muraco used the "HAWAIIAN HAMMER" to secure the victory. 1:54
A sign in the crowd read: PMS
Ross: "Wow Jess. Muraco was on a mission tonight."
Ventura: "He looked good. But there is tougher competition in this tournament that he could face."
Ross: "When we return from break our match for the WCCW Championship is next. Don't you dare miss it."
commercial:
WCCW Championship: Nick Bockwinkle (C) W/Bobby Heenan vs. Mil Mascaras: On several occasions Mascaras had Bockwinkle beat. Bockwinkle was able to get to the ropes when the "bow and arrow" was slapped on. Mascaras had a pin folowing a "small package" but Bobby Heenan got onto the ring apron and stopped the count. Mascaras chased Heenan around the ring but couldn't catch him. Mil went back into the ring and got on the turnbuckle and nailed a "CROSBODY ATTACK" but The Ortons ran out. Bob Sr. distracted the ref and Mascaras while Orton Jr. came from behind and hit a "piledriver" on Mascaras. Orton Jr. then placed Bocks arm over Mils chest for the 1-2-3!! 9:32
The crowd booed heavily and started to throw trash into the ring while the Ortons picked up Bockwinkle and raised his arms in victory.

WCCW card #10 HP Pavilion
**Mil Mascaras is in the ring to begin the show.
Mascaras: "Mr. Bockwinkle, and I say that loosely. I had you beat last week many times. I know it, you know it and the fans know it. The first time, like a man you got out of it yourself. I applaud you. The second time it was Heenan causing a distraction and the third time was those damn Ortons. Well know this. You can't hide behind your lackies forever. And I will get you in a situation that you can not get out of. Mark my words."
Bobby Heenan comes out.
Heenan: "Are you stupid? Mr. Bockwinkle beat you fair and square. But since you obviously haven't learned anything yet (Heenan motions to the back; the Ortons come out) have a taste of this."
The Ortons rush the ring and Mascaras fends them off to start. But the 2 on 1 affair is too much for Mascaras to handle. The Ortons start to work over Mascaras when Bruiser Brody runs out!!
Ross: "By Gawd it's Bruiser Brody! He hasn't been seen since he was attacked by this very same duo a month ago.
Brody and Mascaras then make quick work of The Ortons. Bill Watts comes out and makes the main event this evening Mil Mascaras and Bruiser Brody vs. The Ortons.
Ross: "Thats a hell of a main event Jess."
Ventura: "You're right about that. I don't know of anyone that wants to be in the shoes of The Ortons with a pissed off Brody."
Fritz Von Goering vs S.D. Jones: Von Goering defeated Angelo Mosca last week to earn a spot on the WCCW roster. Fritz was obviously very confident coming into this match as we was strutting around and jawing with Jones early. They would lock up and the more powerful Goering would just push Jones down and flex. They went to lock up again and Jones got the better of Goering this time with a "leg drop" and then a "flying dropkick" and then the "Philly shuffle and KO punch" sending Goering to the mat for the 1-2-3!!! 3:06
**S.D. Jones slides out of the ring and starts to demonstrate the shuffle and KO punch for the fans as a very mad Goering looks on from the ring.
Ross: "S.D. Jones, Jess, is becoming the King of the upset. He defeated "The Million Dollar Man" on our first show and now Goering."
Ventura: "Thats why they say that anything can happen in wrestling J.R."
** Tom Pritchard walks into the Express dressing room again.
Pritchard: "Hey guys, I was thinking. Instead of the ExPress having to break a sweat tonight; why don't Stan and I renew our team under the Cornette flag and take out those bums? It will be perfect. Jim, you would have 2 great tag teams under your supervision."
Lane: "Thats great and all but I don't have my old gear with me."
Pritchard: "Thats o.k.; I brought some."
Cornette: "Well since the ExPress have a title match at Clash Of The Champions 2 against The Kangaroos, maybe you 2 should take the night off to rest up. So Pritchard, you got it. Now go get ready."
Pritchard and Lane leave. As Cornette is about to leave as well, Condrey grabs his arm.
Condrey: "Do you think this is a good idea? Pritchard is up to something."
Cornette: "Don't worry. You guys rest up for next week. See ya later."
Ross: "The Heavenly Bodies are reuniting? Dennis Condrey didn't seem too pleased about that. Be that as it may, we are just one week away from the second Clash Of The Champions Jess and the action is heating up.
Ventura: "Thats right Ross. The U.S. Champ and NWA Champs will be decided at the Clash. Not too mention the NWA Tag Titles are on the line as the Fabulous Kangaroos take on the Midnight Express.
Ross: "When we return we will have Jimmy Snuka taking on Greg Valentine."
commercial
Jimmy Snuka vs. Greg Valentine: A back and forth affair that came down to one mistake. Snuka whipped Valentine into the turnbuckle and Greg got his boots up. Snuka reeled backwards and then Valentine hit the "shoulder breaker" for the victory. Hard fought match. 17:18
Ventura: "Big win for Valentine here tonight J.R. This win could be a springboard for him."
The Heavenly Bodies vs. The Valiants: The Valiants hit a "TOP ROPE ELBOW" on Prichard but Lane made the save. Then later, The Heavenly Bodies hit the "ROCKET LAUNCHER" on Johnny Valiant for the victory. 13:56
Ross: "Big win for The Heavenly Bodies in their debut here in WCCW. Cornette has two teams under his guidance who can win it all."
Ventura: "Well J.R., at the Clash The Express have their shot."
commercial:
Curt Hennig W/Sherrie Martel and Don Muraco vs. Red Bastien: Fans are chanting PMS, PMS as Sherrie Martel trys to block out the "admiration". Muraco waves his arms down to try and calm the crowd but they just get louder. Martel is screaming at the top of her lungs at this point to quiet the crowd but to no avail. Bastien was able to counter a couple moves but Hennig was focused, winning after the "HENNIG PLEX". 3:09
Todd Grisham is standing by with Don Leo Jonathon.
Grisham: "I'm here with DLJ. Don Leo, do you have any thought on your match tonight against The Missing Link?"
DLJ: "Missing Link is a tough guy for sure. But I'm really interested in the main event tonight. You know, the Ortons helped cost me a shot at the United States Championship when they came out during my match. Now they didn't interfere and for me losing that is my fault cause I didn't stay focused. But I'm focused now boys and I'll be focused on this monitor during the match. And maybe, just maybe I'll come out to say hello."
DLJ vs. The Missing Link: All DLJ. "MORMON SWING" for the win. 2:09
Ross: "Don Leo Jonathon is one scary guy when he is this focused Jess."
Ventura: "I think the Ortons have pissed off too many people J.R."
commercial:
Mascaras and Brody vs The Ortons: It has now been announced as a Texas Tornado Death Match. Highlights of the match....Bruiser Brody grabbed a chair and set it up; he whipped Orton Jr. into the ropes and delivered a spinebuster on the chair folding it in half!! Mascaras threw Orton Sr. out of the ring and grabbed another chair and rode it like a skateboard down onto Ortons chest. Brody and Mascaras won after a "Big Boot" on Orton Sr. from Brody. 11:56
Brody and Mascaras barely have time to get up when Rick Rude and King Kong Bundy show up and attack the winners.
Ross: "It's Rude and Bundy. They were last seen in the Central States territory."
The Ortons are able to jump in and its four on two until DLJ and Jimmy Snuka come out to even the odds. All eight men are brawling........

First, congratulations to the new US Champion Rikidozan and NWA Champion Antonio Rocca. Also, The Midnight Express won the NWA Tag team Titles this past Friday. But we have a helluva show this evening. Our double main event features a pair of tag team matches as DLJ teams with Jimmy Snuka take on The Ortons. Also Bruiser Brody and Mil Mscaras team up to face the team of Rick Rude and King Kong Bundy."
Ventura: "An explosive situation tonight Ross, thats for sure."
**Highlights from last week as SD Jones got a huge win over Fritz Von Goering.

**Dennis Condrey, Bobby Eaton and Jim Cornette are celebrating their victory over The Fabulous Kangaroos for the NWA Tag Team Titles this past Friday, when Tom Pritchard and Stan Lane walk in.
Lane: "Congrats my friends. Those belts look good on you."
Eaton: "Thanks man."
Lane: "Did you hear that The Kangaroos were so pissed about losing to you guys that they went back to Australia?"
Cornette: "Serves those walking marcupials right."
Lane: "Well, we just wanted to wish you guys luck. You start your tour in CSW tomorrow right?"
Eaton: "Yeah. Not a lot of comp over there but as the NWA Champs, duty calls."
Cornette: "And I'll still be flying back and forth for both of your matches. But you guys have the nights off tonight. What are you going to do?"
Lane: "We'll figure something out I'm sure."
**Lane, Cornette and Eaton laugh. The whole time Pritchard and Condrey are staring at each other.
commercial
Greg Valentine vs Billy "Red" Lyons: "Red" Lyons had Valentine in trouble early but Greg rolled out of the ring to catch a breather. Lyons went out after and a brawl started. Greg got the better of it and tossed Lyons back in. He hit a "falling elbow hammer" for 2 and then a "piledriver" got the 3. 3:39
Ross: "Greg Valentine has been on a roll lately Jesse."
Ventura: "Last week a victory over Jimmy Snuka and then Lyons this week. He's impressive all right."
Curt Hennig W/Sherrie Martel and Don Muraco vs Ilio DiPaolo: DiPaolo had just nailed the "AIRPLANE SPIN" when Don Muraco jumped in the ring and hit DiPaolo with the "Asiaic Spike" for the disqualification. 4:19 Muraco, Hennig and Sherrie Martel put the boots to DiPaolo. The crowd starts a PMS chant. Hennig grabs a mic.
Hennig: "Why don't you people just shut up! Everywhere we go is PMS this and PMS that. It's tiresome. Yeah yeah, I get it. We are Perfect, Magnificent and Sensational and the acronym is PMS. Yeah we get it. But a more important issue is how Mr. Muraco was cheated out of the US Title."
Muraco: "Thats right Curt. I had Rikidozan beat and he had to load his boot with something in order to beat me. (The PMS chant gets louder and Martel is covering her ears.) You people shut up!"
**Muraco throws the mic down and all three leave.
commercial
**Billy "Red" Lyons is sitting down when The Heavenly Bodies walk up.
Pritchard: "Tough loss to Greg tonight but maybe we can make you forget about it."
**A split second after Pritchard was done talking Lane "SUPERKICK"ed Lyons out of the chair. Lane and Pritchard went to work on Lyons and left him battered.
Ross: "That was uncalled for. They new that Lyons tag team partner Red Bastien wasn't here today.
"Playboy" Buddy Rose vs Missing Link: At first Buddy Rose refuses to get in the ring with Missing Link because he is a "lesser being". Rose finally gets in and the match begins. Back and forth match. Missing Link had Rose beat at one point but a young lady came out on to the ramp distracting Link. Ross: "Thats April Hunter from Ring Of Destiny Jess. What is she doing here?" This enables Buddy Rose to hit a "brainbuster" for the victory. 6:30
Ventura: "What WAS April Hunter doing out here?"
Ted DiBiase W/Virgil vs "Strangler" Lewis: DiBiase wasn't in his regular ring attire. Before the match could start, DiBiase got on the mic. I refuse to wrestl here tonight against this man who is clearly not in my league. So Virgil, go get him."
Virgil vs "Strangler" Lewis: Virgil mounted a little offense but submitted to the "STRANGLERS HEADLOCK". 3:28
Lewis eyeballs DiBiase and goes out of the ring. Lewis gets in his face but DiBiase pulls out a wad of money. He counts out what appears to be five hundred dollars and tells Lewis to leave and the money is his. Lewis contemplates for a second and then takes the money and leaves. DiBiase takes a mic and says "Everyone has a price. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
Ross: "The first of our double main event is next fans."

But Bundy had grabbed a chair and as Brody launched himself at Bundy, Bundy swung the chair and waffled Brodys head. Brody hit with a thud and the ref called for the bell.
