I was curious about when the tag team division becomes too small to support two titles.

[glow=blue,2,300]I've never used Interplanetary tag belts anyway. I have War Games Tag Champs at the moment but that title will be abolished at the end of the current game year too. I've never really seen the need for it...[/glow]

I believe I phased them out during the Takeover angle. Cordanus retired the IP tag titles, with Blacklist as the last champs, and the Holovision title with himself as the last champ.

I brought in the I-P Tag Titles mostly because I figured it'd give everyone else something to shoot for since the Ultimate Gladiators are so dominate.

I had the I-P tag titles until the end of 2118...the new edition drops the # of teams down to like 8 or 10...

I tried the IP Tag titles in 2090/2091. Between the lack of good champions, no one being able to retain the things, and everyone that held it deserving to go for the GWF tag titles, I retired it. I merged it into my GWF tag titles to create the Unified GWF Tag CHampionships.
The tag ranks are just too divided between whose good, and whose not. There is a clear divisior there that makes any type of IP tag title nearly worthless.

If the official tag-teams 16 or more, I would consider a secondary tag-team title.

In my fed, I started the IP Tag Titles really early as The AniMen (Incredible Badger and Battering Ram) became the first IP Tag Champions in May of 2008 when they won a tournament. Incredible Badger and Battering Ram went on to have 4 IP Tag Title reigns- a record that still stands today in my fed.
I am just about to start 2113 and my current IP Tag Champions are Deadly Sins (Vyper and Draconian Sheik). Since there have been many tag teams, I've never had a problem having a secondary tag team title- but I will probably retire (at least temporarily) those belts once I get to New Beginnings in 2119.

I started them in 2088 and still have them. I'm in 2090.

I just briefly spoke on this in another thread but I started them in 2089-90 and used them up close to 2100 then merged/unified them with the Galactic/Galaxian tag titles.
