TV Taping at Victoria Pavillion
* Show kicks off with highlights from the end of last week's dark match, with Nick Bockwinkel attacking Frank Gotch from behind again. Ed Whalen said that tonight we would have an interview with Nick Bockwinkel.
* BOBO BRAZIL beat JOHNNY VALENTINE by countout. Greg Valentine came out during the match, and shortly thereafter Red Bastien came to the ring as well. The fight went to the floor, where Johnny grabbed Ed Whalen's chair and went to hit Bobo with it, but Bastien grabbed the chair from him. As Johnny complained, Bobo rolled into the ring and beat the count. When Bastien went to give Whalen his chair back, Johnny gave him a shot in the back and then left with Greg.
* Jim Davies tried to get a brief word with Jimmy Snuka in the back, but Snuka said he had no time for talking.
* JIMMY SNUKA beat BUDDY ROSE with the Superfly Splash. Snuka was vicious in the match, hitting the piledriver a few times and then hitting Rose with 3 Superfly Splashes while the ref was down, and getting agitated that the official wasn't up yet. After the match he went to continue his assault until Buddy Rogers stopped him, which gave Gorgeous George enough time to collect Buddy.
* After the match Jim Davies again tried to get a word with Snuka, but he just shoved by angrily. Jim Davies then managed to stop Buddy Rogers, who apologized to the fans, and said he would try and figure this out.
* Ted DiBiase came to the ring with King Kong Bundy, and Virgil. DiBiase then said that tonight's $1000 Challenge was for any fan to step into the ring and bodyslam King Kong Bundy. He picked a fairly muscular, but short man from the crowd, who attempted to slam the giant but couldn't. DiBiase then mocked the man as he left.
* GIANT BABA beat KING KONG BUNDY after a chop from the second rope.
* Ed Whalen spoke with Nick Bockwinkel. Bockwinkel claimed that he is the greatest World Champion in the history of wrestling, and that he would prove to be the greatest LWF North American Champion as well. Stu Hart came out and informed Bockwinkel that he would have to defend his North American Title in two weeks against the winner of a Frank Gotch-Jimmy Snuka match which will take place next week. Bockwinkel said he wasn't worried, and that he'd make sure to take care of Snuka in two weeks.
* THE IRON SHEIK (w/ Nikolai Volkoff) beat HAWK with the Camel Clutch. Volkoff (who was wearing a neckbrace) was holding Hawk's legs, so that Hawk couldn't get out of the hold...but referee Yurgin Herman never saw Volkoff cheating. The foreigners ran off before Animal came down to make the save.
* Jim Cornette joined Jim Davies at ringside to introduce his tape. The tape rolled and showed Jim Cornette standing in a gymnasium, talking about how great his tag team was. Just as he introduced the team, the footage went grainy and ended. Cornette was livid, screaming at the producer to fix the tape, but Davies informed him they couldn't. Cornette left in a huff, vowing to return next week with another copy.
* A recap of the Pool D tournament was shown, with the attack from Johnny and Jimmy Valiant on Harley Race.
* HARLEY RACE beat JOHNNY VALIANT with a Swinging Neckbreaker. He had hit Valiant with the Piledriver, but Jimmy Valiant distracted Yurgin Herman. After Race sent Jimmy from the apron, he scored the win. After the match, the Valiant Brothers both laid a beating on Race.
* Ed Whalen went to conclude the show, when Harley Race stormed into the set and grabbed his microphone, and demanded a match next week with Jimmy Valiant. He also claimed that he wouldn't get double-teamed again, and that he would make sure to have backup for that match.
NEXT WEEK

* Road Warriors v. Gorgeous George/Buddy Rose
* Ted DiBiase (w/ Virgil) v. Sandman
* FOR A NORTH AMERICAN TITLE SHOT: Jimmy Snuka v. Frank Gotch
