Ed Capral: Hello, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to my wrap-up of the week in Georgia Championship Wrestling. And wow, what a week it was! We've crowned our two singles champions and we're about get things underway in the GCW Georgia Tag Team Title torunament! But first, let's review the tournament for the Georgia Heavyweight title tournament, which was held at the Omni!
*clips roll while Capral speaks*
Capral: These are clips from the first few rounds, which due to time constraints we can't go deeply into. However, we'll pick it up here in the semi-finals! With Harley Race taking on Frank Gotch!
*the television shows the last 2:00 of the Gotch/Race match and Race wins after three straight piledrivers*
Capral: WOW! Race takes out of the favorites for the tournament there and in our next match-up Killer Kowalski took on Johnny Valentine!
*The clip shows Kowalski winning the match*
Capral: That left only two men standing were Kowalski and Race and what a match they put on, but in the end Race was just too much and won the Georgia Heavyweight Title! However, Race wanted to end the torunament with an exclamation point and demanded Kowalski put the title around his waist! However Killer would not be put down like this and landed a punch straight in Harley's face! Take a look!
*clip rolls*
Capral: And upon this, the GCW Board of Directors signed a match between Harley Race and Killer Kowalski for Race's first title defense and it will take place three weeks from now at the Omni! Ladies and gentlemen, we'll have to take a short commercial break and when we come back we'll show you the "mini-tournament" for the GCW Television title!
-advert-
Capral: Later in the week we had a small tournament for the GCW and due to time we cannot show you that, but Johnny Valentine walked away with the title and later on that night signed a contract and became part of Jim Cornette Enterprises! And next week live on this program, the Television champion and his manager will be here and give me an exclusive interview! Until then, remember to tune in to GCW Pro Wrestling AM Every Saturday mourning and Georgia Championship Wrestling Saturday Night, every Saturday night right here on TBS! And don't forget every Friday night at the City Auditorium and every month we'll have a show live at the Omni!!!!! And four months from now, on May 25 the GCW will host it's first closed circuit television program, which has yet to be named! Until then, this is Ed Capral signing off of GCW This Week!

GCW Pro Wrestling Taped at: TBS Studios Shown: Syndicated Hosts: Ed Capral and Bob Caudle 1/12
*The show opens with generic music playing behind an image of old Georgia wrestlers fighting it out and then the words: GCW PRO WRESTLING overtake the screen and we go to Capral and Caudel sitting at the table with the GCW logo hanging behind their heads*
Capral: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to GCW Pro Wrestling early this Saturday mourning and what a way to kick off your dad!
Caudle: That’s right, Ed. We’ve got five big matches for you and Georgia Heavyweight Champion Harley Race will stop by for a word concerning his match tonight where he has to team up with Buddy Rogers to take on Killer Kowalski and Frank Gotch!
Capral: But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, Bob! Fans, I’ll give you a quick rundown of the action we’re going to see this mourning! We’re going to kick it off with the high-flying Sabu going one-on-one with “The Birdman” Koko B. Ware! Also, the Killer Bees will be in tag team action against the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff, then we will see Gorgeous George take on Red Bastien, King Kong Bundy goes toe-to-toe with Don Leo Jonathon, and in the Main Event this Saturday mourning Jimmy Snuka takes on Ted Dibiase! What a mourning of wrestling action we have planned!
Caudle: Certainly, Ed. So let’s take a quick commercial break and we’ll be back with the first contest of the mourning!
-advert-
Sabu vs. Koko B. Ware The whole time Caudel and Capral were building Sabu up as a wildman from the Middle East who would do anything for a victory. It was a back and fourth match until the end when Sabu left the ring after Koko nailed a flying headbutt. Koko followed him out of the ring and a brawl ensued, and in the end Koko was disqualified for hitting Sabu’s head against the ring post. However, that wasn’t the end! Sabu viciously attacked Koko after the bell had rang and nailed him with a Triple Jump Moonsault and left Koko unconscious in the middle of the ring. WINNER: Sabu via DQ
Capral: Goodness! There you see it wrestling fans, the wildman Sabu takes it to Koko B. Ware after the bell and Koko may be injured. I’ve never seen anything quite like this Sabu, and certainly Sabu will be gunning for one of the major GCW titles, but until he learns to gain control of his temper and stop post match activities like that, I think the GCW Championship Committee should not allow him to be a title contender.
Caudle: Oh, I certainly agree, Ed. That was uncalled for and certianly makes the GCW security team look weak when a man like Sabu just does as he pleases. But onto our next contest as the Bees have already taken the ring, and here comes the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff led to the ring by their manager, Captain Lou Albano!
The Killer Bees vs. The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff w/ Lou Albano Before the match Albano told the Road Warriors to watch out because his boys were coming after the GCW Tag Team Titles! After that, he asked that all people in the studio stand for Nikolai Volkoff’s Russian National Anthem. Volkoff got it off, but the entire TBS studio was giving him heat for it. At this point, Caudel called this team the most villainous of all the GCW tag teams, because they were led by a “criminal mastermind” in Albano. Decent match and the Bees had a strong showing, but in the end Volkoff and the Sheik were just too much. Match ended after Volkoff pulled off a backbreaker drop on Brunzell and got the one-two-three. Afterwards, Albano ran over to the table with Capral and Caudel. WINNERS: The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff
Albano: What you have just seen, was the sweetest tag team in the wrestling business today! The two men who will set the barrier for tag team wrestling in the state of Georgia for years to come! They will be often imitated but never duplicated! With the pure wrestling of the Sheik and the brawling tactics of Nikolai nobody can match up to the pure greatness that I, Captain Louis Albano, have put together! And the Road Warriors better watch their backs, because these two men are gunning for a title shot on February 1st there at the Omni! These two men will get their total shots and win what is rightfully theirs, let’s roll boys!
Capral: There you hear it ladies and gentlemen, straight from the mouth of Louis Albano! The Sheik and Volkoff are going for their title shot on the very first card at the Omni! We’ll be right back!
-advert-
Red Bastien vs. Gorgeous George w/ Cherie Dupre A very hard fought match from both ends, with Red Bastien getting the win in the end. George kicked out several times and Cherie Dupre tried to get involved, but in the end Red was just too much. Throughout the match Caudle and Capral talked about George’s unusal behavior and how he has already made man enemies in the dressing room. One guy they talked a lot about was the Sandman and how he has vowed to shut the Gorgeous One’s mouth for a long time. WINNER: Red Bastien
Capral: Red Bastien getting the hard fought victory, and when we return it’s a one-on-one interview with myself and Georgia Heavyweight Champion Harley Race!
-advert-
Ed Capral: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m standing here with Georgia Heavyweight Champion Harley Race, who just last week at the Omni won this title by defeating Killer Kowalski in the tournament finals. However, we stand here this mourning and Harley isn’t a happy man. Because Killer Kowalski laid him on the mat with a strong hand after the match. Harley Race, your thoughts?
Race; My thoughts? Ed Capral my thoughts are that Killer Kowalski is a walking dead man! When I get my hands on him in three short weeks I’ll show him what being Georgia Heavyweight Champion is all about. I’ve faced them all in them career, Capral. I’ve gone the distance with Rhodes, Flair, the Funk brothers, and the Briscos! Yet it takes some punk like Kowalski, with too much pride to get me angry! I tell you what Kowalski, I fear no man and in jut a few short weeks I’m gonna break your neck Kowalski! I’m gonna slap the piledriver on you, and end your stinking career! I’m in no mood to deal with some young punk like you! You don’t know what it’s like to hold a championship, Kowalski! You don’t know what it means to preform in front of fifty people at a carnival! I’ve poured everything I know into this business! I’ve bled every drop of blood I can, and I’m not going to relinquish this title to you simply because you wouldn’t strap it on me!
Ed Capral: Well later on tonight, in this very studio, you and Buddy Rogers go one-on-one with Frank Gotch and Mr. Kowalski!
Race: You want me to comment? I don’t like any of them! They’re all after my title! And it’s my title! And noone can take that away, not you, not Barnett, not anyone of the Championship Committee, it’s mine Capral, DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME? NOONE IS GOING TO TAKE MY TITLE AWAY! THIS INTERVIEW IS OVER!
*Ed stands with a baffled look on his face as the show goes into commercial break*
-advert-
King Kong Bundy vs. Don Leo Jonathon The announcers really weren’t paying much attention to the match. Just talking about the breakdown that Race had. It was a pretty good match, back and fourth action with Jonathon getting the win after three Mormon Swings. WINNER: Don Leo Jonathon
Ed Capral: We’ll be right back with the Main Event!
-advert-
Jimmy Snuka vs. Ted Dibiase A very good match with a weak ending. Snuka could have lost the match three times, when Dibiase hooked in the Million Dollar Dream, just to have Snuka break out of it. Snuka had the advantage and was trying to set Dibiase up for a Superfly Leap, until Dibiase clotheslined him over the top rope and to the arena floor. Then a wild brawl between the two erupted, and came to an end when Dibiase hit Snuka in the head with the ring bell. Afterwards, Dibiase looked into he camera and just began laughing. With Caudel and Capral reprimanding him for his actions. WINNER: Jimmy Snuka via DQ

GCW SATURDAY NIGHT Shown live from: TBS Studios Time: 6:05 Announcers: Gordon Solie and Bob Caudle 1/12
*The show begins with generic theme music playing to images of Ray Gunkel, the Medics, Paul Jones, the Assassins, and many other Georgia legends fighting it out in the ring, it then goes to show some of the current GCW stars in the ring, and then the words: GEORGIA CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING SATURDAY NIGHT burst on the screen and we go to Bob Caudle and Gordon Solie sitting at a desk which behind it has a GCW backdrop*
Gordon Solie: Hello everybody and welcome to this weeks edition of GCW Saturday Night, and what a night we have planned!
Bob Caudle: You can say that again Gordon, in addition to our HUGE main event of Frank Gotch and Killer Kowalski taking on Harley Race and Buddy Rogers, we have many other huge matches! And since it’s our first broadcast of GCW Saturday Night, we have been extended, for one time only, to three hours!
Gordon Solie: That’s correct, Bob. And it’s giving us an opportunity to broadcast more of the great talent of the GCW than we usually can!
Bob Caudle: Indeed Gordon, and we’re going to kick it off in just a few short minutes with Greg “The Hammer” Valentine taking on Jim Brunzell!
Gordon Solie: But first, a word from our sponsors!
-ADVERT-
*When the camera is back Greg Valentine is standing at the desk with Ox Baker, and Bob Caudle is standing next to the two*
Greg Valentine: Bob Caudle, and the rest of Georgia, I just want to take this time to introduce you all to the new dominant tag team of Georgia Championship Wrestling, myself and Ox Baker! And before I go in the ring and handle this “Killer Bee” I just felt I should a warning out there to Animal and Hawk that there’s a new team in town and we’re coming for those Georgia Tag Team titles!
*Valentine and Baker walk to the ring, where Brunzell is already standing*
Greg Valentine w/ Ox Baker vs. Jim Brunzell Solie and Caudle talk about this huge announcement and then say that the Baker/Animal match means even more now that Valentine and Baker have made themselves a tag team. Decent match with Valentine pretty much dominating. He hooked on the figure-four three separate times, the first two Brunzell was able to break and get the crowd semi-fired up, however in the end Greg Valentine was too much. After the win Baker and Valentine went past Solie and Caudle yelling about being the next Georgia Tag Team champions.
Gordon Solie: Certainly a dangerous tag team to have coming up in the ranks! But coming up next the Cowboy, Bob Orton goes one-on-one with one of the giants of the GCW, King Kong Bundy!
-ADVERT-
King Kong Bundy vs. “Cowboy” Bob Orton The pair talked to Orton very briefly before the match, and Orton said he planned on helping Jim Duggan take out foreign scum who don’t appreciate the chance to live in this great country, like Sheik and Volkoff. Very quick match that ended with Orton nailing a sunset for the victory! After the match, Bundy was furious and demanded a rematch, Jim Barnett came out and told Bundy that on the next GCW Pro Wrestling, he would get to face Orton in the Main Event! WINNER: Cowboy Bob Orton
-advert-
Bob Caudle: Well Gordon, Ed and I are certainly in for a treat next on the next GCW Pro Wrestling as we get the re-match between Orton and Bundy!
Gordon: That’s right , Bob. And remember fans, check your local listings for the time and date of the next airing of GCW Pro Wrestling on your local television network! But coming up next is quite a doozy, and will have a big impact on the tag team rankings! The Midnight Express will take on the Valiant Brothers, and these two could be the two top tag teams in the federation and they’re about to butt heads, and here come the Midnights!
*The Midnights enter the ring and Jim Cornette decides to take a seat next to Bob and Gordon, and decides to provide a little color commentary for this very important contest*
The Midnight Express vs. The Valiant Brothers w/ Lou Albano For the first few minutes of the contest Gordon and Bob question Jim about Cornette Enterprises, and Jim tells them that very soon he will have another member in the stable, but he cannot discuss that at current times. Gordon asks him about Georgia Television Champion Johnny Valentine and Cornette tells them to wait until later in the program to talk about that superstar who is under contract to Cornette. In the mean time, Cornette hyped the Midnights as the next GCW Tag Team champions, calling guys like Baker and Valentine “pretenders”, and said the Road Warriors were a “couple of freaks with a spike fetish”. Pretty good match however, but in the end Cornette’s hype was lived up to as the Midnights scored a win over the Valiants. Cornette was interfering throughout the match, much to the dismay of Solie and Caudle. Nonetheless, great match for the Midnights and this puts them on the radars of the Road Warriors. WINNERS: The Midnight Express
Gordon Solie: What a match! And coming up next, two of the hard hitters of the GCW, Jim Duggan takes on Nikolai Volkoff!
-ADVERT-
Jim Duggan vs. Nikolai Volkoff Solie and Caudle were still talking about the newest member of Cornette Enterprises, whoever it is, and watched this fantastic brawl. Back and fourth action, with Duggan getting the advantage after a flying spear. Post match, Duggan went outside of the ring to a huge USA chant. He walked up to Bob Caudle and told him that him defeating Nikolai was just his first step in getting appreciation for the United States! Just then, the Iron Sheik came up behind him and almost decapitated him with the Iran flag! He threw him in the ring and Volkoff and Sheik put the boots to him, only to have Bob Orton come to the rescue! Solie walked up to Bob Orton and asked him for a interview after the attack. WINNER: Jim Duggan
Gordon Solie: Bob Orton, your thoughts on what just happened?
Bob Orton: Gordon Solie, I tell you what! I was in the back watching the show on my monitor and I was about to meet Jim to celebrate his victory and low and behold the Iron Sheik comes out and attacks him! Well, I tell you what Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff! Both of you make me sick and I’m want a shot at both of you! So right now, I’m putting an open challenge out to either one of you for this coming Friday at the Atlanta City Auditorium I want a match with one of you, I don’t care who. I just want a chance to kick your butt the American way!!!!!
*After that Orton walks off with Jim Duggan and GCW goes to commercial break*
Bob Caudle: Ladies and gentlemen, during the commercial break GCW Promoter Jim Barnett has announced that this coming Friday at the Atlanta City Auditorium we will see the Iron Sheik take on “Cowboy” Bob Orton!
Gordon Solie: And after the next commercial break, we’ll see Road Warrior Animal go toe-to-toe with Ox Baker!
-ADVERT-
Animal vs. Ox Baker A pretty good match, that was hyped as Baker trying to show he belongs against the Road Warriors. Too bad it wasn’t a tag match, as Animal was clearly lost without Hawk. He nailed his power slam, but just couldn’t get it done as Baker took the win. Post-match, Baker told the cameraman to “watch Cornette’s back, noone calls Ox Baker a pretender”. Solie then said that entire tag team division was in absolute chaos!
“Playboy” Buddy Rose vs. B. Brian Blair Solie hyped Rose up as a big contender for the Georgia Television title, and then Rose had a pretty good match with B. Brian Blair. However, he ended up getting the DQ and smashed Blair’s head into the steel post and went strutting off into the back. Gordon Solie called him repulsive and said someone needed to stop his foolish antics.
-ADVERT-
GCW Television Champion Johnny Valentine w/ Jim Cornette vs. Koko B. Ware (non-title) Solie said Valentine may be the best wrestler in the GCW and was about to put those talents on show. Cornette did not bother with joining Caudle and Solie, as he went to watch his man fight Koko. And in a heart stopper, Valentine finally got the win. In a few moments, it seemed like Koko really had a shot at beating the Television champion, but it was too little too late as Valentine got the pin fall. After the match he went to talk to Gordon Solie.
Johnny Valentine: I’m not here for an interview Solie, I’m here to issue a challenge to a man who wants to threaten my manager! My manager is a college educated man, who’s here for business! Ox Baker, you want to challenge my manager? I’ll kick your butt and that punk son of mine for teaming up with you! But that’s not the only man I’m here to challenge. I’m here to tell Bobo Brazil that I plan on ending his ignorant, savage ways of fighting in the near future! After he body slammed me on the hard concrete floor during the GCW Television title tournament, and not getting disqualified, I want to put him on the shelf! I want him to leave the GCW after I’m done with him! And now, I’m done with you, Solie!

*And with that, Valentine pushes Solie away and Cornette follows him to the back, yelling “He’s number 1"*
Bob Caudle: Well ladies and gentlemen, we’re back and coming up next is the match we’ve waited for all evening! Buddy Rogers and Harley Race team up, and wait a minute here comes Buddy Rogers, now!
Buddy Rogers: Let me tell you something, Bob Caudle. You and all the simpletons at home may have been waiting for this, but Nature Boy Buddy Rogers is here for one thing, and that’ the Georgia Heavyweight Title! I’m not here to tag team with the champion and face two losers who I don’t care about. I’m here to face Harley Race and if he had the guts, he’d call it off and face me in an impromptu match!
*After that, Race follows out and has a few words with Rogers as Kowalski and Gotch come out*
Killer Kowalski and Frank Gotch vs. Harley Race and Buddy Rogers Solie mentions the tension between Race and Rogers, and says they are two professionals so they should be able to work through it. However, early in the match, Rogers got Frank Gotch in a vulnerable spot, tagged in Race, and then walked away from the ring! So, while Race was yelling at Rogers to come back, Gotch got a little time to recover. And the first time Kowalski got in the ring, the TBS studios EXPLODED! They are more than ready for the 2/1 Omni show where Kowalski will get his shot at the Georgia Heavyweight Title! Race put up a great fight aganist Gotch and Kowalski, but when Kowalski came back in the ring and nailed a shoulder breaker, Race rolled out of the ring grabbed a steel chair and nailed Kowalski in the head. The camera would not go back to Kowalski as he was busted open after the chair shot. Frank Gotch ran over to help him, and Race left going back to the dressing room, yelling about Rogers! WINNERS: Frank Gotch and Killer Kowalski via DQ
Gordon Solie: Well, ladies and gentlemen, what a night you saw! And don’t forget next Friday night there will be GCW wrestling live at the Atlanta City Auditorium, and next Saturday be sure to tune in here to see GCW Saturday Night! Until then, so long everybody!

1/18 The City Auditorium was JAMMED PACKED!!!! And the fans were ready to see some wrestling action, Ed Capral was the ring announcer and announced the card and reminded us to watch GCW Pro Wrestling and GCW Saturday Night.
King Kong Bundy beat Koko B. Ware. Didn't really get to see the match, as I was getting food and all. The crowd wasn't into it, but oh well. Bundy won after nailing a splash on Koko outside the ring.
An interview with Dibiase after this, wish I could give you full transcript, but I'm just a fan with a pen. Hah! He announced that he had a new bodyguard and it was Don Leoo Jonathon! He can buy anything he wants--Dibiase--and is planningo n using Don to motor through all the scum in the GCW and winning the Georgia Heavyweight Title.
The Destroyer beat Nikolai Volkoff. Great match formula here. Even to start, bad guy takes over, good guy makes small comeback, bad guy gets control back, good guy makes big comeback and wins! The Destroyer is an excellent wrestler, and I think the GCW should use him for big things in the future!
"Captain" Lou Albano came out next and hyped the Valiants as the real Georgia Tag Team champions and said the Midnights win over them was a fluke.
The Valiant Brothers defeated the Killer Bees. Good match that the crowd got REALLY into, especially when the Bees pulled MASKED CONFUSION! Howver in the end, Johnny's spinning neckbreaker was just too much and Albano and the Valiants celebrated their win.
Ed Capral comes out and tells the crowd not to forget to come back next week, as Johnny Valentine will make his first GCW Television title defense.
Buddy Rogers beat Red Bastien Buddy Rogers came out to huge boos, but won the match regardless. He strutted out of the arena much to the dismay of the Georgia crowd. Rogers is a top contender for the GCW title.
GCW Television Champion Johnny Valentine defeated The Sandman in a non-title match. Valentine absolutely dominated the match, and nailed an ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER to win it. Afterwards, Cornette grabbed a mic and told the City Auditorium crowd they were looking at the best wrestler in the GCW and next week he was being made to defend his title, because the GCW Championship Committee is scared of him, and they will do anything to have him lose the title.
Special Challenge Match: The Iron Sheik beat Bob Orton. Pretty brutal brawl, alot of the spent outside the ring, but the camal clutch beat Bob Orton. After the match, the Iron Sheik was waving the Iranian flag and spit on Orton.
Ed Capral: Ladies and gentlemen, after that match, we're going to take a short intermission and return with three more wrestling matches!

Ted Dibiase defeated "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan The crowd was ALL over this match! Duggan had five near falls and everyone the Atlanta crowd thought he had the money man beat. But, after throwing Dibiase into the turnbuckle, Dibiase quickly moved and Duggan went full force into the turnbuckle. Dibiase grabbed the cover and walks away with a hard fought victory. Duggan tried to attack him afterwards, but Don Leo Jonathan prevented that and Dibiase went away all laughs. Bobo Brazil handled Greg Valentine Squash match almost, Bobo manhandled Greg and then told Johnny that, "your boy was first, you're next!" Ed Capral went back into the ring and told us once again to be sure to watch GCW Pro Wrestling and GCW Saturday Night, and that coming up next was the MAIN EVENT between Jimmy Snuka and Nick Bockwinkel! Nick Bockwinkel defeats Jimmy Snuka Pretty good match, with Bockwinkel showing off his skills. No post-match activity, other than Snuka getting a pretty loud cheer. Ed Capral thanked us for coming out and told us to stop by the souviner store to pick up GCW gear! Is anyone reading this? If so feedback is welcome, but not required! Thanks

GCW Pro Wrestling Taped at: TBS Studios Shown: Syndicated Hosts: Ed Capral and Bob Caudle 1/19
*The show opens with generic music playing behind an image of old Georgia wrestlers fighting it out and then the words: GCW PRO WRESTLING overtake the screen and we go to Capral and Caudel sitting at the table with the GCW logo hanging behind their heads*
Ed Capral: Hello ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to this edition of GCW Pro Wrestling! Once again we have FIVE big matches scheduled, with the Main Event being the return match between "Cowboy" Bob Orton and King Kong Bundy.
Bob Caudle: And not just that Ed, but Frank Gotch will be in action aganist the Sandman, and Gotch has promised the Sandman a wrestling lesson!
Ed Capral: Also in action, the Valiant Brothers! They go up aganist one member of the Killer Bees B. Brian Blair and Koko B. Ware.
Bob Caudle: All that and much more, today on GCW Pro Wrestling. But first a word from our sponsers.
-ADVERT-
Frank Gotch vs. The Sandman Pretty good even match, that ended when the Sandman busted his cane on Gotch's head. This got insane amounts of boos from the TBS Studios crowd and ended up with Sandman telling the crowd they are #1. WINNER: Frank Gotch via DQ
-ADVERT-
Bob Caudle: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome back, GCW fans we have a HUGE announcement following the last match! The GCW Board of Directors have suspended The Sandman indefinetly following his use of the Singapore cane! Coming up next is a revenge match of sorts following last nights loss to the Valiant Brothers, B. Brian Blair has vowed revenge and is teaming up with Koko B. Ware to get it! Let's go to the ring and see what happens!
The Valiant Brothers w/ Lou Albano vs. B. Brian Blair and Koko B. Ware The Valiant's came out to HUGE boos, and Lou Albano played off the crowd the entire time. Ed Capral talks about the way they handled the Bees last night and that we should all watch for the Valiant's to get the title shot vs. the Road Warrios at the 2/1 Omni show. The Valiants won the match and after wards posed in the ring as Lou Albano announced tonce again these men were the true GCW Tag Team champions. WINNERS: The Valiant Brothers
Ed Capral: And coming up next, a mix of two styles as we see the high flyer Sabu take on Jim Duggan! And joining us on commentary, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka!
-ADVERT-
Sabu vs. Jim Duggan During the match, Capral and Snuka were talking about Sabu being a great high flier and Snuka said he'd like to put his skills up aganist Sabu's. Capral told Snuka he thought that would be a very exciting match for the Atlanta fans and Snuka agreed. The match ended with Duggan being disqualified, swinging his 2 X 4 and chasing Sabu out. However, right after Capral and Caudle thanked Jimym Snuka for stopping by, Sabu came back out and attacked him! He grabbed a chair and gave him an Arabian Facebuster! He wasn't done however, as he climbed to the top rope and nailed the Triple Jump Moonsault he couldn't hit earlier int he Duggan match. He got on the microphone and screamed something in Arabic that Ed Capral couldn't understand and went off into the back just SCREAMING! WINNER: Sabu by DQ
-ADVERT-
Ed Capral: Absolutely appaling. That one human being could do that to another, Bob. Jimmy Snuka, one of the absolute nicest guys you can ever meet, was just assualted and that's what that was ladies and gentlemen, that wasn't one wrestle attacking another for personal gains. That was assualt and battery, and if I were Jim Barnett or anyone on the GCW Board of Directors, I'd have that thug Sabu arrested and taken a little south of here to the Atlanta Police Department!
Bob Caudle: Absolutely, Ed. What a horrible display, and for once, I am ashamed to be apart of this great company due to one man.
Ed Capral: Not only that, Bob, but Jimmy had a huge match with Killer Kowalski tonight that would determine a spot in the rankings and now we have nothing! Jimmy is being carried away to Grady Hospital and, lord. Anyway, best of luck to you, Jimmy. We hope you get in better health soon and get back here to take care of that thug who just brutally assualted you!
Bob Caudle: Speaking of dissapointments, here comes one right now in Don Leo Jonathan. Once a hero to fans, now serves as the bodyguard to that man right there, Ted Dibiase! And it looks like we have the dubious privilege of sitting with Mr. Dibiase during Jonathan's match wtih "Playboy" Buddy Rose!
Don Leo Jonathan vs. "Playboy" Buddy Rose Ted Dibiase was, "very annoying" as Bob Caudle said, watching his man Don Leo Jonathan win his match aganist Rose. Dibiase was continually taking shots at everyone in the GCW and told Red Bastien to watch out tonight, because if he thought Buddy Rogers as tough last night, he better just wait until Ted Dibiase locks the Million Dollar Dream on him. Dibiase also told the Road Warriors to wathc out, because he and Jonathan were going to make a run at Tag Team titles. Jonathan finished off Rose with the Mormon Swing and got a larage amount of boos from the TBS Studios crowd. Dibiase gave his trademark laughed and continued patting Jonathan on the back. WINNER: Don Leo Jonathan
Ed Capral: And ladies and gentlemen, coming up next is the return match between "Cowboy" Bob Orton and King Kong Bundy!
-ADVERT-
"Cowboy" Bob Orton vs. King Kong Bundy Bundy got his revenge, after giving Orton TWO avalanche splashes. He made the referee count to five and played off the TBS studios crowd. Orton had to be helped out of ring, coming to his assistance was his tag team partner, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan. Who helped him out of the ring with his thrown over his shoulder. Capral and Caudle sai they had a HUGE announcement that would tell us AFTER the break. WINNER: King Kong Bundy
-ADVERT-
Ed Capral: We are running over to tell you this, but TONIGHT on GCW Saturday Night Jim Barnett will have an announcement regarding Sabu's actions earlier in the day! And also ladies and gentlemen, Giant Baba has gotten clearence and tonight on GCW TV, will defend his PWF Championship from Japan aganist GCW superstar Nick Bockwinkel! We'll see you later tonight! So long everybody!

GCW SATURDAY NIGHT Shown live from: TBS Studios Time: 6:05 Announcers: Gordon Solie and Bob Caudle 1/19
Gordon Solie: Hello ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to another edition of GCW Saturday Night! And tonight we have TWO action packed hours, as we stand three weeks away from the 2/1 show at the Omni! And Bob, we have a big announcement regarding Jimmy Snuka that we will have later in the show! But right now, let's take a short commercial break and we'll be right back with GCW action!
-ADVERT-
Gorgeous George vs. Jim Brunzell Pretty good match, that Brunzell had a pretty good chance to win. But, Gorgeous George hooked on the spinning toe hold and got away with the victory. Afterwards, he pranced over to Bob Caudle for an interview. WINNER: Gorgeous George
Bob Caudle: Gorgeous George, an impressive showing out there, what comments do you have after that?
Gorgeous George: Oh, Bob Caudle! What you just saw was the lovely Gorgeous George beginning his journey towards the Georgia Heavyweight Title! And Bob Caudle, I was just toying with that filthy Jim Brunzell! And I'm telling you right now, I am making an open invitation to anyone who wants to face my pretty self at the Omni in three weeks, I am offering a shot at Gorgeous George! Now if anyone is a taker, then come on down, but trust me boys I understand if you're scared!
*The Destroyer walks out of the back*
The Destroyer: Gorgeous George! I'm absolutely sick of hearing you run your mouth! And I've shut you up and shaved your head before, so how about you face The Destroyer at the Omni in three weeks?!
Gorgeous George: (all of a sudden has a terrified look on his face) Oh, Destroyer! I don't....I think....
The Destroyer: I guess I'll take that for a yes!
*The Destroyer walks away from a terrified Gorgeous George*
-ADVERT-
Ted Dibiase w/ Don Leo Jonathan vs. Red Bastien Pretty good match, that Dibiase just couldn't put away. Don Leo Jonathan distracted the ref once, but after that Bastien nailed his atomic drop and scored the upset victory over Ted Dibiase. Afterwards, Jonathan and Dibiase laid a beatdown on Bastien. WINNER: Red Bastien
Bob Caudle: And ladies and gentlemen word has just come in that Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka is here! And will be able to compete against Killer Kowalski in the next contest! Be sure to tune in, because this is sure to be a big one!
Killer Kowalski vs. Jimmy Snuka Kowalski came out first, and then Ed Capral announced Jimmy Snuka's name, however noone came out. Kowalski looked around, and again they announced Kowalski's name. Nothing came about. Kowalski began to leave the ring, but then Capral tried one last time. Nothing came about, and right as Kowalski was about to leave the ring, Harley Race ran out of the crowd and smashed Kowalski with the Georgia Heavyweight Title! Then, grabbed a steel chair and began yelling about breaking Kowalski's neck, several guys came to help him, but King Kong Bundy and Ox Baker held off anyone attempting to help. Race put the chair in the middle of the ring and drove Kowalski's head straight into the chair! He then grabbed the belt and went down to the table. WINNER: No contest.
Harley Race: LISTEN HERE! I'M SURE THERE ARE PEOPLE SOMEWHERE WHO AREN'T HAPPY WITH WHAT I JUST PULLED! AND THOSE PEOPLE ARE PROBABLY THE GCW CHAMPIONSHIP COMMITTEE AND FOR THEM I HAVE ONE COMMENT! I'M THE CHAMPION AND I HAVE A SCHEDULED MATCH! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? I'M NOT THE SANDMAN YOU CAN'T JUST SUSPENDED ME!!!!!! I DO WHAT I WANT, WHEN I WANT, AND I HAVE THAT POWER BECAUSE OF THIS TITLE BELT! THIS INTERVIEW IS THROUGH, AND SO IS KOWALSKI!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
-ADVERT-
Buddy Rogers vs. The Destroyer Great match! Two of the best wrestlers in the GCW clashed in this one and put together a classic! But in the end, Buddy Rogers' Figure Four Grapevine was just too much for the Destroyer, which led to Rogers going to the microphone. WINNER: Buddy Rogers
Buddy Rogers: What you just saw, was the best wrestler intake GCW win again! Last week I walked away from Harley Race to prove a point! I wanted to show him that I, Buddy Rogers, am here for nothing BUT the Georgia Heavyweight Title, and I don't care WHO has it! I'm here for you, Race and I plan on finishing the job when I get my hands on you!
-ADVERT-
When the announcers come back, Jim Barnett is standing with them.
Gordon Solie: GCW fans, I'd like you all to welcome the head of GCW's Board of Directors and Championship Committee, Jim Barnett!
Jim Barnett: Thank you all. I hope you are all enjoying GCW action! However there have been a few problems regarding the federation of late, and I'm here to address those problems. First off, I'd like to speak about Sabu and Jimmy Snuka. As you all know Jimmy Snuka was not here tonight, and is still being treated at Grady Hospital for his injuries earlier today. Now my gut reaction was to suspend Sabu without pay, just like we did with The Sandman. However, I got to speak to Jimmy earlier today and he will be fine, he's just in no shape to fight tonight. However, he did tell me a date that he was going to be able to fight! And that date is February 1st at the Omni! And his opponent that night will be the man who brutally attacked him this morning, Sabu!
*Crowd goes wild, and Solie has a look of approval on his face*
Jim Barnett: And that's not all! We've had two more brutal attacks so far here tonight! One of which had the "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase and his bodyguard Don Leo Jonathan beating up Red Bastien 2 on 1! We don't accept things like that here int he GCW and also that night at the Omni we're going to see a tag team match between Ted Dibiase and Don Leo Jonathan taking on Red Bastien and any partner of his choosing! Now regarding the other attack, Harley Race is right, we can't suspend him due to his ranking as Georgia Heavyweight Champion. However, we can do one thing to assure that his match with Killer Kowalski won't have any goons coming in to save Harley Race's behind, and that's a steel cage match!
*crowd goes berzerk to that*
Gordon Solie: There you hear it folks, Jim Barnett has added two matches to the big Omni show AND added a steel cage rule to the Kowalski/Race match! And we'll return to action right after...
*Nick Bockwinkel comes out*
Nick Bockwinkel: Solie, I came here for one reason. Because in about fifteen minutes I'm coming out here in front of all these white trash fans, and I'm going to win the PWF title! Now alot of people don't know what the PWF title is, because these white trash fans in Atlanta still don't understand that they lost the Civil War, and that's the cause of all these Confederate flags flying outside this building! Now if you hicks listen up for a minute, I'm going to give you a history lesson on the belt Ithat I'm about to win! In October of 1972 the family of Japanese wrestling great Rikidozan gave Giant Baba his NWA International title and Giant Baba made it the PWF title. He's been defending it ever since, and now he's come to Georgia to face me with it. And I tell you one thing Baba! The moment I pin your shoulders, you, and your country of Japan will be in total awe, because I'm the most intelligent, I'm the best, the most dominant wrestler in the world. And winning the PWF title can only stregethen my legacy!
-ADVERT-
The Road Warriors/Bobo Brazil vs. Cornette Enterprises (The Midnight Express/Johnny Valentine) Quick match with lots of brawling afterwards, but only between the Road Warriors and the Midnights. After hitting a doomsday device, Lane came in the ring and nailed Hawk with Cornette's tennis racket and then got to nailing Hawk with it. During this Bobo Brazil thought he had his chance to get his hands on Johnny Valentine, but the GCW Television champion hightailed it out with Bobo chasing him. In the ring the four tag team members fought it out, choking with microphone cords chairs, blood flying all over the place. I don't think this is what Jim Barnett had in mind when he gave his interview earlier. The men ended up brawling into the back and the cameras just went to Solie and Caudle.
Bob Caudle: And coming up next the PWF Heavyweight title will be on the line as Nick Bockwinkel takes on Giant Baba! We'll be right back so we can give you a commercial free Main Event!
-ADVERT-
PWF HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: Giant Baba (c) vs. Nick Bockwinkel Good back and fourth match and the crowd was all over Baba. When Baba hit the Neckbreaker Drop and got a near three count everyone in TBS stuidos was on their feet chanting the count with the refs hand. But in the closing moments of the match, Bockwinkel hooked on the figure four twice and then hooked on the Bockwinkel Sleeper and won the PWF title. WINNER: New PWF Heavyweight Champion, Nick Bockwinkel
Gordon Solie: What an event! We've seen history in the making! We've heard new matches schduled for the 2/1 Omni show! Remember this Friday night at the City Auditorium GCW Television champion Johnny Valentine will defend his title! And don't forget to tune in next Saturday Night for anohter edition of GCW Saturday Night! Until then, this is Gordon Solie for Bob Caudle, so long everybody!

Atlanta City Auditorium Show 1/25 A jammed pack City Auditorium welcomed the GCW again on this Friday night, and this time a few crowd members had signs. One, “Valentine is a Whimp”, was all over the place. GCW fans were glad at 6:15 when Ed Capral came out to the ring, only to find out he was accompanied by GCW Manager Jim Cornette. Cornette came out and was listing off reasons why Johnny Valentine shouldn’t have to defend his GCW Television title, to this there a large “Bobo” chant. Cornette said that tonight he wanted to have each member of the GCW Championship Committee out here and he would plead his case as to why Johnny Valentine shouldn’t have to defend his title. And would prove to us all that Johnny Valentine shouldn’t have to defend his title and therefore will not defend his title. Big boos from the crowd Ed Capral then welcomed us to the show, and said he was sorry for the delay. Reminded us about the weekly GCW television programs and told us to buy up all the GCW products we could get our hands on. The 2/1 Omni show shirt is kind of snazzy if I say so myself. He then introduced Greg Valentine and Giant Baba and the matches were underway. Nick Bockwinkel accompanied Valentine, and Nick was sporting his new PWF championship belt. Greg Valentine made Giant Baba submit to the Figure Four Leglock. Pretty big upset here, as the Giant man from Japan as now lost two in a row and has a gaijin, as they say in Japan, strutting around with the PWF title on. Baba was at least hoping to get a win here, to prove that he did deserve a rematch for his PWF title, but that’s even doubted now. He looked very disappointed after the match and just walked back to the dressing room with out even looking up. Bockwinkel was of course posing in the ring with the PWF title. Ed Capral was telling us that coming up next was the #1 contender Killer Kowalski taking on the big man King Kong Bundy. But he was interrupted by none other than Jim Cornette! Cornette said he had Fred Ward ready to come down to the ring and he was going to give Ward his reasons for why Johnny Valentine shouldn’t have to defend his title. However, when Fred Ward came out he told Cornette that he could present his case to the entire Committee in just a little bit, as they were all just arriving. But later on tonight, he could give us his case. Cornette seemed very angry about this, but went along with it anyway. King Kong Bundy beat Killer Kowalski after Harley Race came out to the ring side and began walking around the ring distracting Kowalski. Pretty good match and Kowalski had Bundy beaten, until Race came out and Kowalski diverted his attention to Race and began to yell at him. When he turned around, he went for a big clothesline in the corner but Bundy moved and covered him after the big turnbuckle hit. Georgia Heavyweight Champion Harley Race just went away laughing after the incident. Ed Capral came back out and told us that bearing no surprise Cornette appearances we could get on to our next match, Bobo Brazil taking on Ox Baker. Cornette didn’t appear after the mention of Bobo’s name, and when Brazil came out he grabbed the microphone. Bobo: Listen up, Cornette and Valentine! I’m sitting out here in this ring, waiting on a GCW Television title shot and I don’t get one! So I tell you what! I’ll sign the little petition of Valentine not defending his title against the mystery man, if you let me face him later on tonight for the title! *crowd explodes to the idea but Cornette doesn’t show up and Bobo just gets ready for Ox Baker* Bobo Brazil defeated Ox Baker after a Coco Butt. At one point it seemed like Ox Baker just wouldn’t give up. Kicking out five times and leaving Bobo with a baffled look on his face. At the conclusion of the match, the Coco Butt was just to much and Baker had to concede to Brazil. After the match the City Auditorium crowd gave a big “Let’s go Bobo” chant. Capral came back out and told us to get ready, because the overbearing Cornette was coming out and we may hear a lot from him. However, Cornette appeared very nervous and didn’t even announce the Midnight Express in the way he usually does. The pressure of keeping the title on the Johnny Valentine is finally building up to be too much for Cornette. The Midnight Express beat Nikolai Volkoff/The Iron Sheik after a ROCKET LAUNCHER. Cornette interfered of course, but that was just keeping up with this fast paced match. Cornette is quickly becoming the most hated man in the GCW as the fans were all over him for not wanting Valentine to defend his television title. After the match, the Midnights were celebrating and Bobo Brazil came out of the curtains! Cornette left the ring area via the crowd and I’ve never seen Cornette run that fast in my life. Bobo was going to take after him but just laughed it off. Ed Capral came out and told us that the man who just ran through the crowd and left his dignity in the ring would have his meeting with the GCW Championship Committee after the following match between Don Leo Jonathan and the Destroyer. Don Leo Jonathan came out first, with the man he protects, Ted Dibiase. Dibiase told the crowd he would give anyone out there $10,000 if they would get in the ring and do 100 pushups. A young man of about 20 got in the ring and began doing the pushups and the crowd was counting with each one hoping that this fan would take Dibiase’s money. But on 25 Don Leo Jonathan gave this guy a kick square in the ribs and finished him off with a MORMON SWING. The crowd gave a loud set of boos to Jonathan and Dibiase and the young man was knocked unconscious. It took a crew of EMTs to carry the young man out to the back and then as Dibiase and Jonathan were laughing about this in the ring, a few members of the Atlanta Police Department went and helped away this mans mother from ring side. She was in tears as Dibiase and Jonathan heckled her. The Destroyer then came down and said he was dedicating this to the young man who was just brutally attacked by the, “Million Dollar Thugs”. Don Leo Jonathan defeated The Destroyer after a MORMON SWING. Between Cornette and the men in the Million Dollar team, I couldn’t tell who got the most heat. This place was ROCKING with all three pinfall attempts by The Destroyer, but in the end it just wasn’t enough. Don Leo Jonathan continues his winning ways, and if he keeps this up may be looking at Georgia Heavyweight Title match in the near future. With two matches left, Cornette came out to meet with the GCW Championship Committee about Valentine’s match with the mystery opponent tonight. Ann Gunkel, Fred Ward, Paul Jones, Jim Barnett, and Don McIntyre all sat down in the ring and got ready to listen to Cornette. Cornette began talking about how if Race doesn’t have to defend his title, why should Valentine? And how can the champion get ready, if he doesn’t know who the opponent is? He also said that Valentine hasn’t been in the gym all week due to a stiff neck! How can the GCW Television title be defended when the champion has a stiff neck? All these points were heard, and then the five members of the Championship Committee huddled up and held a vote. Jim Barnett got the microphone and told Cornette that by a 4-1 vote, the Championship Committee had decided that.......JOHNNY VALENTINE WOULD DEFEND HIS TITLE TONIGHT AND THAT DECISION WAS FINAL! This got a LARGE cheer from the crowd and Cornette hit a rope with his tennis racket and left yelling about the decision. Frank Gotch easily defeated Jimmy Valiant Easy match here for Gotch, who hasn’t really made many enemies in the federation yet, just goes around beating his opponents. Ed Capral then came out and told us it was time for the MAIN EVENT! It was one fall with a sixty minute time limit and it was FOR THE GCW TELEVISION TITLE! Out first came Valentine who was wearing a neck brace, that his manager took off for him. And then Ed Capral was handed a note card and introduced the mystery opponent, RED BASTIEN! GCW Television Champion Johnny Valentine defeated Red Bastien with an Atomic Skullcrusher to retain his title. Pretty good match, and every time Bastien had an advantage the crowd cheered at maxim levels. In the end Valentine was just way too strong for him and defeated him with his ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER! The Midnights came down to the ring, to celebrate the victory and Cornette Enterprises was having a great moment, until Bobo Brazil charged the ring! Bobo grabbed the microphone and told Valentine he didn’t have the guts to give him an impromptu match right there and then! All members of Cornette enterprises hightailed it out of there and saw Bobo charging right behind them. Capral thanked us for coming out again on this Friday Night, and told us that next week is the big Omni show and for us not to forget to show up to that one. Until then, he told us goodnight, to be safe, and to pick up GCW merchandise on the way out. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry about the delay guys, didn't have time to post the show yesterday and got it up as fast as possible today. I know there are some GCW fans out there, as this thread as almost 100 views . And Graymar thanks for the kind words before, at any rate, you quiet GCW fans and graymar alike better call your local ticketmasters and get tickets to the 2/1 Omni Show. Limited seating is available, so I'd call ASAP .

GCW Pro Wrestling Taped at: TBS Studios Shown: Syndicated Hosts: Ed Capral and Bob Caudle 1/26
*The show opens with generic music playing behind an image of old Georgia wrestlers fighting it out and then the words: GCW PRO WRESTLING overtake the screen and we go to Capral and Caudle sitting at the table with the GCW logo hanging behind their heads*
Bob Caudle: Welcome to yet another GCW Pro Wrestling, well Ed we’re three weeks strong, and the action heats up this week as we have GCW Heavyweight champion Harley Race in action, in a warmup match for his battle next Friday against Killer Kowalski.
Ed Capral: That’s right, Bob. Jim Duggan gets the match against the GCW champion, but first up Gorgeous George will take on Koko B. Ware! We’ll have that match, as well as an update from Jimmy Snuka, who one week ago on this show was brutally attacked by Sabu. And also, for those of you in attendance last night, we’ll have an update on the young man that Ted Dibiase brutally attacked with his bodyguard, Don Leo Jonathan last night. And we’ll have footage of that. All this and more when we return here on GCW Pro Wrestling!
-ADVERT-
*When we come back, Gorgeous George and Cherie Dupre are standing at the table with Ed*
Ed Capral: In six days, you Gorgeous George go one-on-one with the masked man, The Destroyer!
Gorgeous George: Ed Capral, please don’t even try to compare the beautifulness of myself, to that man who can’t even show his face! Eddie, I am going to prove to the GCW that you can be vicious and delicious, isn’t that right, Cherie?
*Cherie nods in agreement*
Ed Capral: Aren’t you the least bit worried? I mean, The Destroyer is one of the toughest men in the GCW and you have to go one-on-one with him in just six days!
Gorgeous George: That’s just the way it is, little Eddie! I will do anything to put that ugly man of the GCW! I’d do anything to make this BCW!
Ed: BCW?
Gorgeous George: Oh, Beautiful Championship Wrestling, darling! *George goes to the ring*
Koko B. Ware vs. Gorgeous George Pretty good match, with George coming out on top. After the match, he pranced around the ring yelling, “I’m so pretty!” This was all interrupted by the Destroyer charging the ring! George and Cherie BOLTED out of the ring area when they saw him and headed fore the dressing room. WINNER: Gorgeous George via Figure Four Leglock
-ADVERT-
The Valiant Brothers w/ Lou Albano vs. Ox Baker and Greg Valentine After the loss to the Midnights, the Valiants have been on a roll and it continued here. Baker took the loss, and the new tag team of Valentine and Baker suffered their first crack in the plates, when after the match Baker just glared at Valentine. WINNERS: The Valiant Brothers
Ed Capral: Now ladies and gentlemen, we will go into the hospital room of the fan who was attacked last night brutally by Ted Dibiase...let’s roll that footage then take you into the hospital room. This young mans name is Marcus Alexander Bagwell, and he’s 20 years old and hails from Marietta, Ga.
*the clip from last night when Dibiase and Jonathan lay a beating on the young Bagwell* Gordon Solie: Ladies and gentlemen, I am sitting bedside with GCW fan Marcus Alexander Bagwell, Marcus tell us a bit about yourself.
Marcus: Well, Gordon, before last night I had just gotten my start with the GCW as a ring clean up man. I was hoping that I could just keep things going smooth and maybe one day become a wrestler there. However, things didn’t go as I planned. After hearing Mr. Dibiase would give anyone $10,000 for 100 pushups, I figured it was no big deal. I didn’t know that Mr. Dibiase was going to lay on a beating when I came into the ring.. But I tell you one thing, once I get out of this hospital, I’m going to get my revenge! It may take a while and I’ll be training, but you get ready Mr. Dibiase, become I’m coming!
-ADVERT-
Sabu vs. B. Brian Blair The two announcers were talking the ENTIRE match about how brave of Bagwell it was to challenge an accomplished wrestler like Ted Dibiase, especially since he was just getting his start in the business. This led them into talking about attackers of course, and got the talk onto Sabu. They were talking about how he attacked Jimmy Snuka, and said they couldn’t wait until Jimmy Snuka got his paws into Sabu on Friday night. The match ended with B. Brian Blair driving Sabu’s head into the concrete with a piledriver and getting the count out victory. After the match, Brian went down to the table and yelled at Capral and Caudle that one, was for Jimmy. WINNER: B. Brian Blair -ADVERT-
Bobo Brazil vs. “Playboy” Buddy Rose Pretty even match for awhile, that Buddy just couldn’t nail down for the 1..2..3. Bobo won in the end after three straight COCO BUTTS. During the match, Caudle and Capral announced that Johnny Valentine/Bobo Brazil match HAS been signed for the 2/1 Omni show, and the official announcement will come tonight on GCW Saturday Night! WINNER: Bobo Brazil
Ed Capral: And coming up next, Harley Race wrestles what he has been calling a warmup match against “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan. Stay tuned!
Harley Race vs. Jim Duggan Race owned Duggan. Nothing else really needs to be said. It was just total domination and led to Race getting the 1...2...3 after the piledriver. Race didn’t need this warmup, he was in tip-top form. WINNER: Harley Race
Bob Caudle: And that’s all folks! Due to time constraints we can’t show you the interview with Snuka, but if you tune in tonight for the last edition of GCW Saturday Night before the 2/1 Omni show, you will see what the man from the Fijis has to say! I’m Bob Caudle, for Ed Capral, so long everybody.

GCW SATURDAY NIGHT Shown live from: TBS Studios Time: 6:05 Announcers: Gordon Solie and Bob Caudle 1/26
Gordon Solie: Hello everyone, and welcome once again to GCW Saturday Night! Tonight is the final television show, before the GCW invades the Omni next Friday night! And Bob, what a show we’re going to have there. As of right now, we have THREE big title match scheduled. And in just a little while, Jim Barnett will be out here to make the GCW Television title match official.
Bob Caudle: Not only that Gordon, but we have several big matches scheduled here tonight! Plus, Jimmy Snuka will talk to us via telephone, about his match on Friday night with Sabu. And Gordon, a lot of stars from GCW ready for the show tonight, which should be a good way. We don’t want to keep you all waiting, so we’ll take a quick commercial break and when we come back Nick Bockwinkel will go up against one half of the Killer Bees, Jim Brunzell!
-ADVERT-
Nick Bockwinkel vs. Jim Brunzell The announcers hyped up the Bockwinkel/Baba rematch, and said that regardless of who wins, the GCW will be seeing imports from the PWF, to come and fight here. This all has to do with the big contract signed between the two, that allows for talent exchange. This is actually where the Sandman is. In the match, Brunzell fought really hard and it looked like he was primed to make a comeback a few times, but Bockwinkel was just too much in the end. After the match, Bockwinkel hoisted his PWF title and yelled it was, and Baba would never get it back! WINNER: Nick Bockwinkel
Gordon Solie: And when we return, Bobo Brazil will be in action, against King Kong Bundy. Many think Johnny Valentine has put a bounty on Brazil’s head and is trying to take him out before next Fridays show at the Omni. We’ll be right back!
-ADVERT-
King Kong Bundy vs. Bobo Brazil Valentine’s bounty was almost collected, as the big man from New Jersey was flat out dominant in the early part of the match. However, Brazil’s agility was too much for the big man, and ended up winning the match for Bobo. Bobo has a 3-0 weekend, and looks great rolling into the Omni. WINNER: Bobo Brazil
Gordon Solie: And, coming up next, is a big time match between Red Bastien and Greg Valentine. Valentine and Ox Baker have suffered a little tension and now Valentine will step in the ring here, against Red Bastien. And, we’ll get a word from Red and see if we can find out who is mystery partner will be at the upcoming Omni show.
-ADVERT-
Red Bastien vs. Greg Valentine Red talked with the announcers before, and said that he hated everything that Dibiase and Don Leo Jonathan stood for. He hates the fact they throw around money to get what they want he hates the fact that Ted Dibiase wears his million dollar outfits to the ring, and on Friday night he is going to introduce a wrestler who stands for the exact opposite of the things Dibiase and Co. stand for, and he will show the world that courage and truth, are much better than the almighty dollar. In the match, Bastien and Valentin put on a clinic! It was a spectacular match! Bastien had to make a comeback on Valentine and in the end nailed his atomic drop and got the 1...2...3! WINNER: Red Bastien
Bob Caudle: And now ladies and gentlemen on the line we have Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and he is here to discuss what happened last week on GCW Pro Wrestling, an I guess to tell Sabu what he thinks about the current situation. Jimmy are you there?
Snuka: Yeah, brudda, I’m here.
Bob Caudle: Jimmy, I think the main question on our minds is, how are you doing?
Snuka: Brudda, I’ve recovered from the facebuster, but my doctors have told Superfly to stay put until at least next Friday. So I’m just sitting here watching the show, brudda.
Bob Caudle: Jimmy, do you have any special
*dial tone comes up on the line, and Sabu comes out*
Sabu: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Noone wants to hear a Snuka love fest, Caudle! And Caudle noone wants to hear you!
*Sabu acts like he’s going to attack Bob Caudle and then just starts laughing and leaves*
_-ADVERT-
Nikolai Volkoff and Iron Sheik w/ Nikita Breznikov vs. The Valiant Brothers w/ Lou Albano
Sheik and Volkoff showed off their new manager Breznikov, and then out came the Valiants. After this match, Jim Barnett is going to make the TV title match official, but has another match to announce! Back-to-back great matches here on GCW Saturday Night, and the Valiant Brothers get another win! Solie and Caudle promised when we get back, Barnett would make his huge announcement. WINNERS: The Valiant Brothers
-ADVERT-
Jim Barnett: Ladies and gentlemen, fans of the GCW, I am here to make an announcement regarding the Omni show this coming Friday. I’d like Jim Cornette to come out here, so I can tell him about my decisions.
*Cornette comes out, and doesn’t look very happy*
Jim Barnett: Cornette, your man Johnny Valentine WILL put that GCW TV title on the line against Bobo Brazil and there will be no more discussion of it! But, Jim, I do have a little bit of good news for you.
Jim Cornette: Good news?
Jim Barnett: Yes, the other match I’m going to make is to the GCW Tag Team titles, and the Midnight Express will face the Road Warriors!
Jim Cornette: BARNETT, I LOVE YOU!
Jim Barnett: Well, Jim, before you start the love fest, I should tell you that the Valiant Brothers will also BE IN THE MATCH!
*Cornette goes wild and we go to commercial break*
-ADVERT-
Frank Gotch vs. Don Leo Jonathan Three great matches, back-to-back-to-back. Here on the show, and the GCW now has one hot crowd on its hands! Gotch kicked out 8 times, Jonathan 6, making this a MOTY candidate. Gotch wins in the end, after Don Leo Jonathan missed a body splash and lost the match to Frank Gotch. After the match, Gotch got on the microphone, and said HE was the best wrestler in the GCW, which got a great response from the fans. Buddy Rogers came out and thought otherwise however, and these two decided on how to figure out who was better. By having a match on the 2/1 Omni show! WINNER: FRANK GOTCH
-ADVERT-
Buddy Rogers vs. Giant Baba I tell you, it’s going to be hard for the 2/1 Omni show to top this weeks edition of GCW Saturday Night. ANOTHER GREAT MATCH! Baba was fighting with all his heart, trying to show the Georgians that he deserved the PWF rematch. And he showed them in the end, by recording a pin fall on Buddy Rogers. WINNER: Giant Baba

Ted Dibiase vs. Bob Orton Decent match, but a cool down from the last four. Dibiase scores a pin fall and goes down to the announcers table and tells Caudle that, “Bastien can bring anyone! And I mean anyone in wrestling to that match, and Don Leo Jonathan and I will walk away victorious, AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” WINNER: Ted Dibiase

MAIN EVENT: Stan Lane vs. Animal Brawl. Just an absolute brawl, and that was before all the members of the Road Warriors, Midnight Express, and Valiants got involved in a brawl! The show went off the air in total disarray Solie and Caudle had to run for their lives and Jim Cornette got on the microphone yelling about the Midnights winning the tag titles at the Omni, and don’t forget to come! The show went off the air following this. WINNER: NONE

The Omni 2/1 The Omni was jam packed for the show that had been hyped ever since the GCW began its operations a little over a month ago. I arrived a bit early, and got to meet the Destroyer, Killer Kowalski, and Bobo Brazil. All three were great guys, and then I took my seat. About an hour later, Ed Capral came out and hyped the show, talking about the four big title matches we would see tonight. He left the ring, and then about thirty minutes before bell time, Gordon Solie came out and gave an interview with Killer Kowalski, asking him if he was ready for tonight’s match with Harley Race. Kowalski said he was ready, and then time he was gonna teach Harley the meaning of respect. Then it was bell time, Willie Nelson came out and sang the Star Spangled Banner, to a LOUD ovation. Then Ed Capral announced the starting match, and the 2/1 Omni show under way. Ted Dibiase and Don Leo Jonathan vs. Red Bastien and Dibiase and Jonathan came out first, Jonathan now sports a similar outfit to Dibiase when they enter the ring. Then Red Bastien came out, and said that his tag team partner was huge! A small Bundy chant started. He said that his tag team partner was a former NWA World champion, he then said that his tag team partner was none other than Richard Hutton! Hutton put on a wrestling clinic from the first time he was in the ring on, but Dibiase hung with him and the two should put on great matches in the future. This match had a disappointing ending though, because Bastien slammed Dibiase on the concrete floor and Dibiase was counted out. WINNERS: Red Bastien and Richard Hutton via count out Gorgeous George vs. The Destroyer From the moment that Pomp and Circumstance hit, the crowd was all over Gorgeous George. I’ve never heard so much heat on one individual in my life. And when he wouldn’t let the ref check him, because he didn’t want to get dirty, the fans ate it up. Every time that Destroyer was on offense, the crowd cheered at levels I haven’t heard before! And when the Destroyer went for the flying cross body, but missed and ended up tapping to the spinning toehold, Gorgeous George got Cornette-esque heat. George tried to take the mask off post match, but the Destroyer was able to fight back there. WINNER: Gorgeous George GCW Television Title Johnny Valentine (c) vs. Bobo Brazil Well, George had the most heat until this. Bobo Brazil comes out first, to a LARGE reaction. Then Ed Capral announces Johnny Valentine, and noone shows up. Valentine get announced again, noone shows up. The crowd continues their boos, and the final time Capral announces Valentine, Jim Cornette comes out. He tells Bobo that he’s very sorry, but Johnny couldn’t make it tonight due to the stiff neck he’s been suffering from of late. Brazil was irate! But, Cornette said he had a man that Bobo could face! WINNER: No match Bobo Brazil vs. Masked Man Brazil asked who the opponent would be, and Cornette introduced a masked man! The bell rang, and it wasn’t pretty. Brazil threw the masked man all over the ring, landed three coco butts, and ended the match. The crowd was pro-Bobo from moment #1, and when he began to unmask the man, he had to fight Jim Cornette off to do so. When he finally got the mask off, the man was...Brutus Beefcake? WINNER: Bobo Brazil PWF Title Nick Bockwinkel (c) vs. Giant Baba Baba came into this match riding high, after defeating Buddy Rogers on GCW Saturday Night. But his winning ways did not continue, as he just couldn’t get the pin fall on Nick Bockwinkel. He tried many times, and even tried ending the match with his Baba Chop, but it was to no avail, as Bockwinkel nailed the sleeper, and retained his PWF title. WINNER: and still PWF champion, Nick Bockwinkel Buddy Rogers vs. Frank Gotch Probably the best pure wrestling match of the night. The crowd all of a sudden became very Japanese, in that they cheered for great wrestling moves, and cheered after someone worked their out of a hold. Gotch escaped the Grapevine three times, but the fourth one was just too much. Buddy Rogers proved he was the best wrestler in the GCW, or so he said. WINNER: Buddy Rogers Gordon Solie came out following that match, and said he hoped that everyone was having a great time here tonight. He wanted to remind us of the two GCW television shows that would air tomorrow, and tell us the next time the GCW would be at the Omni, would be March 21st! He said the GCW was going to take a quick intermission, and return with the remaining matches. *INTERMISSION* GCW TAG TEAM TITLE 3-WAY MATCH The Road Warriors (c) vs. The Midnight Express vs. The Valiant Brothers What a wild match! The three top teams in the GCW battled it out for tag team gold, which resulted in new champions. The Valiants were the first to go, after getting nailed with the Doomsday Device. Then it came down to the Midnights an the Road Warriors, with managers barred from ringside, Cornette wasn’t there to help the Express, so the two teams battled it out. It ended when Lane hit the superkick, 1...2...3 WINNERS: And NEW Georgia Tag Team champions, The Midnight Express Jimmy Snuka vs. Sabu Match got a great response, with Snuka getting one of the bigger pops of the night. But the match just got too wild and both men got dq’ed for brawling outside the ring. WINNER: Double DQ Georgia Heavyweight title Steel Cage Match Harley Race (c) vs. Killer Kowalski And it was time for our main event, and what a main event it was, back and fourth action. Race even nailed a diving headbutt that ALMOST ended the match. Both men were a bloody mess, had hardly any energy left post-match. In the end, Kowalski nailed his claw and Race just passed out, making Kowalski the NEW GCW heavyweight champion./ WINNER: and new Georgia Heavyweight Champion, Killer Kowalski

GCW Pro Wrestling Taped at: TBS Studios Time: Syndicated Announcer(s): Ed Capral
*Stills of the Georgia Heavyweight championship match at the Omni last night, are shown and what bloody pictures they are! The last shot is the one with Kowalski getting the belt strapped around his waist and his arms held up straight in the air*
Ed Capral: There it is! A new Georgia Heavyweight champion was crowned and look at him, blood running to the boots, Killer Kowalski fought his heart out against Harley Race in that steel cage, will have to do it one more time. Because the ink has just dried, and the speculation is true because next week on GCW Saturday Night, Harley Race will get a chance to regain the GCW title against Killer Kowalski! But that’s getting a bit ahead of ourselves, no? This mourning on Pro Wrestling, we will se.....
*Jim Cornette interrupts Capral’s introduction*
Jim Cornette: Shut up, Ed, you work for me now!
Ed Capral: Excuse me?
Jim Cornette: You heard me, Eddie baby. I’m getting endorsement deals lined up, you know why? Of course you don’t you’re just a lowly announcer, I’ll tell you why! Because not 1, not 2, BUT THREE members of Cornette Enterprises are champions here in Georgia Championship Wrestling! I’ve got endorsement deals lined up, and I’m buying more wrestlers and pretty soon, I’ll just buy GCW and you’ll officially work for me Eddie Capral! Hahahaha! And to show you more facts of this I have yet another man in Cornette Enterprises, and I’m not talking about Brutus Beefcake. Ladies and gentlemen, yet another member of Cornette Enterprises: Greg “The Hammer” Valentine!!!!
Ed Capral: Do what? What is going on?! What about Ox Baker?
*Greg Valentine comes out*
Greg Valentine: I’ll tell you about Ox Baker. He’s a degenerate loser who knows nothing about the wrestling business! I paired with him because I thought, “Ok, maybe I can teach Ox something” but he didn’t want to learn! He just wanted to tell me want to do and bragging about killing people with his heart punch, but now just like every other time in his life, Ox Baker is alone. Haha!
-ADVERT-
The Killer Bees vs. The Dream Team w/ Jim Cornette Ed Capral talked about how much he loathed Jim Cornette, and how he hoped the Bees would shut Cornette’s mouth right here and now. However, that was not meant to be and the Dream Team scored their first pin all victory. Capral then asked, “What will the Midnights think about a team opposite them in Cornette Enterprise?” WINNERS: The Dream Team
-ADVERT-
Ox Baker vs. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan Ox Baker gave interview before the match, saying that he was going to demolish Greg Valentine for changing tag team partners like he did. And at the end of the day, Valentine is going to wish he had never met Ox Baker. Once the match started, Capral said if children were watching, you may want to take them elsewhere, because this one could get violent. He said these men were two of the wildest in GCW, and anything can happen when they are in the ring. It was a pretty wild match, with fighting on the ring floor for a majority of the match, but in the end Duggan nailed his Tough Guy clothesline and pinned Baker for the victory. With the win, Duggan creeps toward the top 10. WINNER: “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan
Ed Capral: And coming up next, “Playboy” Buddy Rose takes on Koko B. Ware!
-ADVERT-
“Playboy” Buddy Rose Poor Koko just can’t buy a win here in the GCW. He had his shot several times during the match, he just could not capitalize and lost to Buddy Rose after a big kneedrop. WINNER: “Playboy” Buddy Rose
Ed Capral: And when we return, Dick Hutton will make his GCW television debut, teaming with Red Bastien to go up against the Valiants. We’ll be right back.
-ADVERT-
The Valiant Brothers w/ Lou Albano vs. Dick Hutton and Red Bastien Pretty good match, Hutton and Red almost won this one a few times, but came up just short in the end. The Valiants rack up another win, it seems they can do it against anyone not the in the Midnight Express or Road Warriors. After the match, Lou Albano promised that the Valiants were going to get another tag title shot, and this time would put the Midnights in their place. Capral reminded us to tune in to see Hutton’s big singles match against Nick Bockwinkel tonight on GCW Saturday Night. WINNERS: The Valiant Brothers
Ed Capral: And when we return a BIG Main Event, with Ted Dibiase going one-on-one with Frank Gotch, we’ll be right back!
-ADVERT- Frank Gotch vs. Ted Dibiase EXCELLENT wrestling match. Dibiase can go hold-for-hold with anyone in the GCW and proved it here against Gotch. Gotch ended up losing the match after falling asleep in the Million Dollar Dream. Dibiase moves into the top five in rankings, and could be looking at the March GCW title shot. WINNER: Ted Dibiase
Ed Capral: What a show ladies and gentlemen, my partner Bob Caudle couldn’t be here this week, but he’ll return next! So, remember tune into night for GCW Saturday Night, remember the GCW returns to the City Auditorium this Friday night, and you can always find my smiling face right here on GCW Pro Wrestling. Until next Saturday, so long everybody.

Sorry about these results guys, but I had long ones typed up however I forgot to long in and hit post and of course lost the post when I tried to post it.
-Volkoff/Sheik beat the Road Warriors after Stan Lane slipped Volkoff brass knucks and Volkoff nailed hawk with them. Cornette played up his team on the mic which caused a big brawl between the two teams which ended in the parking lot.
-The Destroyer beat Sabu. Buddy Rose came down and got into a fight with the Destroyer afterwards, but Gorgeous George snuk up behind up and the two had a beat down and tried to unmask the Destroyer. Doesn't look like this one is over yet!
-Giant Baba beat King Kong Bundy. Bockwinkel came out afterwards and told Baba he was never going to win his title back.
-Jimmy Snuka beat Johnny Valentine by DQ in what was a fantastic match. Ended when Valentine figuredo ut he just could NOT beat Snuka and nailed him with a tennis racket.
-Bobo Brazil beat Don Leo Jonathan via DQ. This was Virgil's debut, and the Million Dollar Team beatdown Brazil as a favor to Jim Cornette.
-GCW Tag Team champions The Midnight Express beat Jim Duggan/Bob Orton. After the match the Road Warriors came back out and demolished the tag team champions.
-Buddy Rogers won again over Gorgeous George, he has a match vs. Bobo Brazil next week.
-PWF champion Nick Bockwinkel beat Dick Hutton and then called himself, "the best wrestler int he GCW by a longshot" as the show went off the air
sorry again guys, but eh, its my damn fault.

Atlanta City Auditorium 2/8 A week after the 2/1 Omni show, the Auditorium crowd was glad that they had their GCW wrestling back, as it was a sold out show. Ed Capral came in the ring and hyped up the card, which featured two title matches! He also reminded us to tune in tomorrow tonight, to see the re-match between GCW Heavyweight champion Killer Kowalski and Harley Race. Then Jim Cornette came out, and told Capral that noone cared what he had to say, because here came Cornette's Dream Team. Massive boos from the crowd, you could give Cornette a ruler and it would be a heel at this point. Their opponents this evening would be Red Bastien and D. Hutton. The Dream Team (Beefcake/Valentine) vs. Bastien and Hutton Pretty good match, the crowd was all over Cornette which is expected. Bastien and Beefcake did some nice work together, that may lead to more in the future hopefully. Hutton, the best wrestler of the four, and Valentine actually put on a pretty good technical show for a minute, before Valentine slipped out of the ring to recoop. Valentine then took control and tagged in Beefcake. Hutton reversed a throw into the turnbuckle, and then tried a turnbuckle charge missing. When he rose, Beefcake leveled him with the knee to win it for the Dream Team. WINNERS: The Dream Team Giant Baba vs. Gorgeous George Baba stepped in the ring with one thing on his mind, getting his hands on Nick Bockwinkel for taking his PWF title. It showed as well, because this was the most focused we've seen Baba since he entered the GCW. He ended this one with a neckbreaker drop, and out came The Destroyer! The Destroyer had a pair of scissors and chased Gorgeous George around the ring and up the ramp yelling, "Your hair is mine, pretty boy!" WINNER: Giant Baba Buddy Rogers vs. Jimmy Snuka Rogers is a favorite for the title shot in March, but he needs to keep winning, in order to stay on pace with Bockwinkel. Hard fought match from both sides here, both men tried their finishers twice, both times their opponent kicked out. However, the third time was a charm for Jimmy Snuka and his SUPERFLY LEAP, as he got the three count. Rogers has a match with Bobo Brazil tomorrow night on GCW Saturday Night, and the winner of that will probably face off with Bockwinkel somewhere down the road. WINNER: Jimmy Snuka After the match, Sabu ran out of the back! He attacked Jimmy Snuka again, he got on the mic and told Snuka he better be ready for tomorrow morning on Pro Wrestling, because he was going to go through Hell! Nikolai Volkoff/The Iron Sheik w/ Nikita Breznikov vs. The Killer Bees Usual opening for Volkoff/Sheik, and the Bees tried to stop it, but it was just a lost cause. Total domination from the foriegn big men. They finally won it when Sheik slapped the Camal Clutch on Brunzell and got the victory. Post-match, Breznikov grabbed the mic and said his men deserved a title shot, since they pinned the Road Warriors on Saturday Night! WINNERS: Volkoff/Sheik Frank Gotch came out next, and said that on the tap now was his PWF title match with Nick Bockwinkel. Gotch said he may have lost two straight, but he was a former NWA champion and any wrong ship can be righted. And tonight he was going to right his ship. PWF champion Nick Bockwinkel vs. Frank Gotch Another great match from Gotch. There is just noone in the business, as technically sound as he is, but with the roll Bockwinkel is on, he was just too much. In the ned Gotch just didn't have enough fight in him to defeat the PWF champion and get the title. A Bockwinkel Sleeper ended the match about 25:45 in. WINNER: Nick Bockwinkel Bobo Brazil vs. GCW Television champion Johnny Valentine (nont-title) Good match, while it lasted. Both men gave it their all, and the crowd was all the way behind Bobo. But Bobo just could not get that final three count and then Valentine just rolled out of the ring and got counted out, yelling this was a waste of his time. Will Bobo ever get a fair fight? WINNER: Bobo Brazil Georgia Tag Team Title match: GCW Tag Team champions The Midnight Express vs. The Road Warriors Good match. Great match, actually,. with arguably the two best tag teams in the GCW going at it. And the Midnights fought the Warriors all the way 'til the end. But everything was survived, tennis rockets, superkicks, superlaunchers, no matter what was thrown at the Road Warriors they survived it. A Doomsday Device was nailed on Eaton and the 1...2...3 was given. The Atlanta crowd exploded and as Black Sabbaths, "Iron Man" blared over the P.A. the GCW fans began to file out. WINNERS: and new GCW Tag Team champions, the Road Warriors ---------------------------------------------- Well, sorry it took so long to get the show up, but I'm running a 2074 and 2119 fed now, so GCW isnt the only piece of business I've got the dice rolling for. However, it's still running, just not as often as it used to be. PRo Wrestling however will be up within the next two days. Have fun guys

Hey...
Glad someone else out there's a fan of Hutton & Bastien teaming...
They paired up in my fed after Hutton won the U.S. title and they had a very tight series of back and forth matches...a mutual respect team.
Too bad they can't buy a win as a team though...*sigh*
