A little background on my fed: I use the official storylines that Tom has set up. I deviate from things slightly, but it’s mostly in side feuds and a guy sticking around a couple of months longer than he’s supposed to or arriving a month or two early.
Since New Beginnings was released, I have had 6 wrestlers hold the GWF Title: Endgame, Kill Prey, Tauran, Nosfera, Encubus and Disaster. The 2119 feud between Endgame and Disaster was completely one-sided, with Endgame dominating. After losing repeatedly to Endgame, Disaster “guaranteed” a win over his foe on a Monday Night Madness Program in the spring. Disaster lost that match too, and he promised to “win back his honor” by defeating every wrestler on the roster before asking for another rematch with Endgame and to refuse any title shots until he had defeated everyone.
Endgame and Kill Prey engaged in an epic struggle from 2119- early 2120, but there feud ended when Endgame regained the title at Deimos Perennial 2120 after a grueling 60-minute Iron Man match. Kill Prey covered Endgame for the tying pinfall just as time expired.
Encubus has had the longest reign of the period, winning the belt in July of 2120. He still held that title as 2120 ended, surviving a HUGE challenge from Bloodline. Initially, he held onto the title due to interference from the rest of Central Command. However, he was able to score a clean victory over his nemesis in a cage match at StarFest (my end of the year PPV). The two adversaries then shocked the crowd by shaking hands and embracing. Bloodline then lifted Encubus’ hand and recognized him as the clear winner. Since then, we have learned that they will be teaming up under the direction of a masked woman named Mother Superior. Payback has also joined them. Their intentions are unclear at this time, but fans are clearly excited by their alliance.
My Interplanetary Title has been much more fluid, with nine different men splitting 14 title reigns. Ten different teams have held the Tag Team Titles. Neither the IP nor Tag Team Titles have been defended successfully more than 4 times. Valour held the IP Belt when the year ended. The Master Race held the Tag Titles, but their last defense at StarFest was controversial, since they retained it in a handicap match against Paralyze when Havok no-showed the event.
I generally run a few cards before Deimos Perennial. My Holovid shows are called Monday Night Madness and Friday Night Fights. Friday Night Fights runs once a month, and features championship bouts and other “big” matches. MNM runs more regularly and usually features more of the talent. I run about 5-6 PPVs a year.
As of 1/1/2121, my roster is exactly the same as the Subversion 2121 handbook. The only “non-official” wrestler on the roster is Rush, who wrestles part-time and has met with great success in limited action.

[glow=red,2,300]GWF Monday Night Madness[/glow] GWF 2121 Card # 1 (1/06/2119) (Apollo Heliodome, Asteroid Belt)The show opens with highlights from 2120, especially featuring the current champions (Encubus, Valour, The Master Race and Shann-Ra) along with Disaster, Bloodline, Payback, Swarm, The Amazing Mann, Stars ‘n’ Stripes, the Central Command and The Master Race. It ends with highlights from the Master Race’s dismantling of Paralyze in a handicap match to retain the titles, Encubus and Bloodline embracing after their match, and finally a simple question: WHO IS MONOLITH??? * Tricks ruined the debut of the newest AniMan, pinning Panther Warrior. * Amazing Mann continued to frustrate the AniMen by forcing Swarm to submit to CONTORTION. * The new Gladiator team of Paralyze and Rage were impressive in a win over Claws ‘n’ Knives. Paralyze pinned Slave Beast. Paralyze refused to answer Vidtek’s questions about Havoc afterwards. * After a five-star match, Tanck pinned Payback with TANCKED and a lot of showboating. * Anivar and Tauran scored a win over the GWF Tag Team Champions. Thraxx was counted out after Tauran DDT’d him outside the ring. The Master Race retained their titles. Since losing his last match against Endgame in 2119, Disaster has gone on a tear through the entire GWF roster. Since the current ranking system was instituted (in 2115), no wrestler has ever enjoyed a better year than Disaster had in 2120. He defeated every member of the roster since then with the exception of two men: GWF Champion Encubus and his long-time nemesis, Endgame. Disaster has won his last nine matches in a row by pinfall. Meanwhile, Endgame held the GWF Title for over 4 months of 2120. His year was close to his record-setting performance in 2118…. But his 12-4 (9 wins by pin or submission) record didn’t hold a candle to Disaster’s mind-boggling 25-5 record (21 wins by pinfall). Tonight Disaster, the most dominant wrestler in 2120, puts THE streak on the line against Endgame, the most dominant wrestler of the last 3 years! * Disaster shocked the crowd by easily handling Endgame and pinning him after a Gladiator piledriver. * In the Main Event, GWF Champion Encubus successfully defended his title by pinning Interplanetary Champion Valour.

[glow=red,2,300]GWF Monday Night Madness[/glow] GWF 2121 Card # 2 (1/13/2121) Great Horse Coliseum, Trojan Asteroid, Asteroid Belt) Monday Night Madness opens with a limo pulling up outside the arena. Out steps Slave Beast, followed by Scimitar and Rotunda (she takes a minute getting out and almost falls on her face, much to the amusement of the crowd). Vin Strutter comes out next, followed by the Amazing Mann and Tricks. Finally, the strongman Tanck emerges, and looks confident for his GWF Title match tonight. The Monday Night Madness opening video montage plays. Like last week, it ends with a simple question: WHO IS MONOLITH??? The Central Command Team of Epoch and Sly Drury are already waiting in the ring, when Antak begins making his way down the ring. The crowd pops for the longtime AniMan tag specialist, but the cheers turn to groans when he’s followed by his tag team partner, Plethador. Plethador is sporting his new “I Suck…. Who’s Next?” t-shirt. He seems proud of himself and his shirt, but Antak just wants to get to the ring. * Epoch and Sly picked up a win over Antak and Plethador when Epoch pinned Plethador using THE DARK AGE. After the match, Sly Drury grabbed a microphone. “You know what, Plethador? You really do suck!” * Zygon picked up a singles win by pinning Anivar. * Stars & Stripes picked up a pinfall win over Claws ‘n’ Knives when American Guy hit Scimitar with AMERICAN FIREPOWER. * Kill Prey pinned Panther Warrior. * Paralyze and Rage beat Amazing Tricks by pin after Paralyze hit Amazing Mann with two PARALYZERS. Vin Strutter activated his microphone. “Those Gladiators might have gotten lucky against Amazing Tricks, but all of the luck on this miserable asteroid won’t help Encubus tonight” * Swarm scored a pin over Nosfera. * Encubus (accompanied by Bloodline) retained his title by pinning Tanck with the GAMEMASTER DDT. After the match, the crowd cheers Bloodline and Encubus as they walk up the ramp. As soon as they disappear, a mysterious hooded wrestler with a mask that looked like a mirror came out. DR: I am Dead Ringer. Look at yourself, Tanck. You’re pathetic. Vin Strutter tries to help the big man to his feet, but Dead Ringer continues. DR: The once proud Tanck has turned into a circus freak. Vin Strutter wanted to replace the insane Steele Freak with a more controllable beast and he chose YOU. You’re pathetic now, and you’ve always been pathetic. I know all about you. I know how pathetic you were back on CTA-102. You’re a two-time LOSER. First you were a failed cop, now a failed wrestler. Crooks bought your honor, and now Strutter’s bought your dignity. Vin Stutter restrains Tanck and the big man tries to leave the ring to go after Dead Ringer. DR: Look in the mirror, Tanck. You’re PATHETIC!!! Every time I come out to the ring, you’ll see your reflection and remember just how big a loser you really are. The show ends with Tanck screaming at Dead Ringer, with Strutter trying to hold his big man back.

That was quite a build-up for the Disaster/Endgame feud! Disaster beat everyone on the roster? With the destruction of Endgame, Disaster is primed for the coming of Monolith. Can't wait to see what happens now.

That was quite a build-up for the Disaster/Endgame feud! Disaster beat everyone on the roster? With the destruction of Endgame, Disaster is primed for the coming of Monolith. Can't wait to see what happens now. Well, the Disaster-Endgame feud was a big one in my fed.... but it was terribly one-sided until this show. Endgame made Disaster look foolish. As of the end of 2120, there were actually four wrestlers on the roster that Disaster had not beaten: Rush, Paralyze, Endgame and the GWF Champion Encubus. Disaster didn’t wrestle the first two because they were fellow Aethrans (although he did pin Havoc). He obviously defeated Endgame last card. Disaster refused to challenge Encubus for the GWF Title until he had “redeemed himself.” Guess what’s up next for the big nasty? And don't worry, I haven't forgotten about Monolith....

Wow, Disaster finally got the money off his back (not Sectarian). Glad to see it worked out the way you wanted it to. I hope Disaster wins the title...because I know who is waiting for him in the wings.
BTW, I really like how Tanck and Dead Ringer are starting out in your fed.

Tanck went on a bit of a roll for me in the second half of 2120. I really like his new gimmick- I've always thought that he'd be a great fit with Strutter. DR's the perfect foil for him. They'll square off soon, but I'm going to try and build up their feud for a while before it explodes. Tanck's got a lot on his plate. He's in the title picture.... there's DR and the AniMen.... and let's not forget about his old buddy Payback. An interlude up later today.....

[glow=red,2,300]Interlude [/glow] Prior to GWF Card #3 (1/20/2121) *** NOTE: This post is derived from a passage in the 2121 Subversion Handbook. It contains detailed spoilers. Please do not read any further if you do not want to be spoiled before reading Subversion 2121. *** Massif is waiting near the parking lot of the Olympus Mons Acropolis on Mars with Epoch, Sly Drury, the Master Race and the Dark Menace. Massif: Why exactly am I waiting out here with you? DM: Because HE is the most impressive thing that you’ll ever see. Epoch: You won’t want to miss him. He’s the biggest thing that this federation’s ever seen. Thraxx: No one’s bigger than me. Sly: Monolith is. Get over it. Thraxx: He went through the same Eugenics process we did. There’s no difference between us. Epoch: That’s where you’re wrong. He’s been genetically engineered, like you. But there’s far more. Zygon: What do you mean by that? Epoch: Let’s just say that…. DM: Let’s just say he’s more than that. This is neither the time nor the place. Suffice to say, Monolith is a triple threat for the Gladiators. He will be unstoppable. Massif: Wait a minute. I was barely comfortable letting the Master Race in last year due to their background. You’re going to have to tell me a bit more before I clear Monolith to wrestle. DM: Fine. Knowing why he’s the best won’t help the Gladiators. Besides, there’s nothing about him that would disqualify him. Threat number one: he’s genetically engineered. Massif: I know that. DM: Threat number two: he’s from Andromeda. Massif: He’s an AniMan? DM: Correct. Sly: Whoa, I didn’t know that. DM: Threat number three: he’s received an Aethran Cleansing. Massif: Wait a minute. You just said that he’s an AniMan. How can he be an Aethran too? DM: I didn’t say that he’s an Aethran. I said that he’s received an Aethran Cleansing. Massif: How did that happen? There’s no way that Spike would allow you to do that. DM: Let’s just say that I have my ways. Epoch: That’s right! We have our ways. We know the right people. Monolith will crush the Aethrans using their own secrets against them! DM: Like I said, he’s a triple threat. He’s unstoppable. Massif: I don’t know about this…. DM: If you disqualify Monolith, then I demand that you disqualify every AniMan and every Gladiator on the roster. He enjoys no advantage that they don’t. Massif: I really don’t like this…. But you’re right. Unless I find out something else, Monolith is on the roster. DM: I thought you’d see things my way. Massif: If you… gentlemen will excuse me, I have a show to run. Send Monolith to my office when he arrives. DM: If Monolith arrives, I’m sure that he’ll send for you. Massif: Send him to my office. DM: I'll pass on the message. As Massif turns away, the Dark Menace smiles for the first time.

[glow=red,2,300]GWF Monday Night Madness [/glow] GWF 2121 Card # 3 (1/06/2119) (Olympus Mons Acropolis, Mars)The Monday Night Madness opening video montage plays. It again ends with a simple question: WHO IS MONOLITH??? * Claws ‘n’ Knives scored a win over Titan Glory when Slave Beast pinned Tristan with CRY OF THE BEAST. * Kill Prey made short work of Plethador, pinning him with AMBUSH! In the Gladiators locker room, we see all three members getting loosened up for their matches later tonight. Disaster: I’m sick of hearing about Monolith! I’ve won my last ten matches in a row by pin, and the only reason that the streak isn’t longer is because Vin Strutter’s entire team interfered in a match. I’m the baddest wrestler that the GWF has ever seen! Monolith is NOTHING compared to me. I’ve been banging heads for over eight years now! Paralyze: You said it, Disaster! We’re the past, present and future of the GWF! No one can handle that. I got beat in a handicap match at StarFest because that unreliable idiot didn’t show up. Massif won’t even us another shot at those Master Race idiots. He says that our “new” team has to earn its shot like anyone else! The Gladiators of Aethra aren’t like everyone else! We’re the best! Who do we have tonight? Rage: Big Things….. Paralyze: I almost pity them. They’re dead meat. Disaster: So is Encubus. * Muss pinned the Amazing Mann with MUSS ‘EM UP to give the Troubleshooters a win over Amazing Tricks. * Swarm pinned Valour to become NEW INTERPLANTERY CHAMPION!!!! * Paralyze pinned the Betrayer following DEATH AFTER DEATH to give the Glads a win over Big Things. * In singles competition, Tauran pinned Thraxx after the Immovable Object missed a turnbuckle charge. * In the main event, Disaster pinned Encubus (with Bloodline) after nailing him with a RAMPAGE to become NEW GWF CHAMPION!!!! Bloodline helped Encubus out of the ring area as Disaster accepted the GWF Title, oblivious to the nearly deafening cheers of the fans. He looked down at the belt he had been chasing since he lost it to Wolf almost 5 years ago. His face almost softened for a spit second. When he looked up, he saw the Master Race battling Paralyze and Rage in the back on the FilsingerTron. While his teammates initially held their own, the tide turned as Sly Drury and Epoch entered the melee. Disaster began running to the back. As he slowed to go through the entryway, a gargantuan figure emerged from the entrance. He stood over seven feet tall and was easily four hundred pounds. This man hit Disaster with a charging football tackle that almost seemed to break the Aethran in half. He then lifted up Disaster for a choke slam, but hesitated as the stunned crowd could not believe that they were seeing Disaster in such a compromised position. The giant figure looked around the arena and smirked before finishing his choke slam. Disaster landed with a sickening crash. The newcomer then kicked Disaster down the ramp. The Dark Menace came through the curtain with a microphone. DM: For months, people have been wondering about the man known as Monolith. Tonight, you have had the privilege of seeing him for the first time. You will all remember where you were when Monolith entered the GWF. Monolith walked to the bottom of the ramp and grabbed Disaster by the hair. He then walked down the aisle with the champ. Monolith rolled Disaster into the ring. The Dark Menace whispered in Monolith’s ear. Monolith climbed the ring steps and stepped over the top rope. He grabbed Disaster and pressed him over his head, walking around the ring before stepping to the center of the ring. He then tossed Disaster high into the air. As Disaster fell to the canvas, Monolith propelled himself off the ropes, jumped in the air and executed a perfectly-timed splash on the champion. He stood and smiled at the jeering throng of fans. The Dark Menace entered the ring. DM: Behold the marvel that is Monolith. This title [holding up Disaster’s GWF Title] and anything else that he wants belongs to Monolith. The Dark Menace then raised Monolith’s arm in victory. Monolith stood with a cocky smile on his face. He then looked at the GWF Title belt in the Dark Menace’s arm before taking it and swinging it over his shoulder. He then put his left foot on Disaster’s chest and laughed.

[glow=red,2,300]Interlude[/glow] Prior to GWF Card #4 (1/25/2121) Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Deimos, Mars*** NOTE: This post is derived from a passage in the 2121 Subversion Handbook. It contains detailed spoilers. Please do not read any further if you do not want to be spoiled before reading Subversion 2121. *** Massif is again waiting near a parking lot, this time on on Deimos outside the Deimos Intergalactic Arena. He’s with the Dark Menace and Epoch. Massif: You know, I've got one of the biggest events of the year to run tonight. Explain to me why I’m out here, waiting for Monolith? He was SUPPOSED to stop by my office last week, but instead he decided to jump Disaster right after his match with Encubus. DM: I told him what you requested. He decided that he wanted to “meet” Disaster first. (Pointing to the parking lot) That should be him. The limo pulls up to the entrance. There is silence as the limo driver comes around the vehicle and opens the door. After a short pause that seems like an eternity, Monolith steps out. DM: So, you made it. Monolith: That’s obvious. Epoch: How was your trip? Monolith ignores the question and looks forward. He looks over Massif with a sneer on his face. He is looking DOWN at the rather large commissioner. Massif: I don’t care how your trip was. All I know is that I sat out in the parking lot last week waiting for you and you didn’t show. I left word for you to come see me and you didn’t show. Then you go… Monolith: People wait for me. That’s how it works. It’s my schedule and no one else’s. Epoch: That’s how it works! Monolith ignores Epoch. He gestures towards the GWF Commissioner. Monolith: Who’s this? Epoch: That’s… DM: That’s Massif. He’s the GWF Commissioner. Monolith: Funny, I thought that they said he was a big man. Epoch: Ha ha! I’m going to manage the greatest wrestler of all time. Monolith: Wrong. Epoch: But I put together the Eugenics Project. I brought you here to the GWF. I have a contract. DM: Monolith will honor it. But first, he needs to get acquainted around here. I’ll manage him this year and that will make things easier for everyone. (Monolith smiles) Monolith: I’ll play along with all of this, but keep in mind that I obey no one. Any objections to that? Epoch: This wasn’t our agreement. I have a contract that says…. Massif: Forget your contract, Epoch. He’s got to deal with me first. I’m going to…. Monolith: Where’s my room? Epoch: It’s all been arranged. You have the plushest locker room in the building. Nothing but the best for you. We’ve also got the suite they reserve for heads of state at the Deimos Sands Hotel. It’s the best! You’ll be feuding with Disaster, and prove that you’re the best wrestler in the GWF. Monolith: I have nothing to prove. I’m the best anywhere. Disaster is my first victim…. There will be more. Massif: I’ll see you in my office in five minutes. I want to go over a few rules with you. Monolith: No, you won’t. Massif: What? Monolith: Here’s the one basic rule to memorize: I’m Monolith. I’m my own boss. Epoch: I….. Epoch keeps his last thought to himself as Monolith walks away, followed by the Dark Menace. After a pause, Epoch goes after them. Massif just stares on in disbelief, perhaps truly intimidated for the first time since he joined the GWF.
