What a run by Tournament Master...even after Jim's panda landed some cheap shots in there. Looking forward to the big match with Morbid! Yep, he would be the TV Champ, injury and all, were it not for Morbid. I love when the dice work well to promote a storyline.

GWXtermination Card 23 from Preplanus Castleview
-- Doctor Payne and his partner The Surgeon were seen conversing backstage. Assassin X -- the man who once served Payne as a bodyguard until the two doctors discarded him after a string of failures -- approached them warily and quickly said, " Look, Payne -- I know we had our issues before. I know you guys dumped me as an enforcer, and I didn't like it one bit. But the way I see it, you guys could use some muscle, and I just want you to re-consider. I'm offering my services again." -- Payne and Surgeon looked at him for a moment, then talked quietly amongst themselves. Payne got a strange smirk on his face, even seeming to suppress a chuckle. But he turned back to X and said, " You know, you might be right. We were quick to punish you for past failures. You -were- in fact an able hench...er...'enforcer'. I tell you what -- I need a lesson to be taught to Harm. You take care of that crippled never-was, and you can consider yourself back in the fold. Think you can handle that?" -- X eagerly nodded. " I will not let you down again." -- Payne held out a hand and said, " But listen. I know about your past. Don't kill him! Just punish him? Okay?" Surgeon seemed to choke back a laugh, and had to turn away. But X nodded again and strode off confidently.
The SoulWatcher -vs- Slegend -- The SoulWatcher saved his GWX career in a gutty, crowd-thrilling Triple Threat battle with Manslaughter and Korsus, and he rode that momentum into this one, pulling off a very hard-fought battle against Slegend. Winner: TheSoulWatcher by THE REVELATION
Assassin X -vs- Harm -- After X got dumped by the doctors, he had won over some sympathetic fans, but they were solidly against him here, now that he has cast his lost back with Payne and the Surgeon. -- Nonetheless, the 'assassin' seemed invigorated, and went toe-to-toe with Harm in a great match. X executed a daring plancha to put away the newcomer. Winner: Assassin X by suicide plancha to floor
-- Payne came out and congratulated Assassin X and told him he was "the enforcer again, but for a probationary period". X seemed thrilled, but Payne continued to bear a seemingly condescending smirk.
Strong -vs- Umagapotamus -- The telltale drums and Samoan tribal music erupted in the Castleview arena when Umagapotamus lumbered down, looking surly as always. The newcomer Strong showed no fear and went right at the AniMan! These two put on a vicious display of reckless, thumping offense. -- The action spilled outside of the ring, and both men began smashing each other into the guard rail, stairs -- anything that was nearby. The referee had no choice but to DQ both men, who continued to battle all the way backstage! Winner: n/a -- double disqualification
-- Ensor came out by Mot and Kram at ringside and grabbed a microphone. " Villains in the GWX -- consider yourself on notice. The Junior FDF is here, and all evil-doers will find themselves answering to us. For too long, the GWX has been dominated by seedy men like Vin Strutter and his Carnival of Terror, or Doctor Payne, or even bigmouths like Overtime. Tonight, I offer an open challenge to any villain who wishes to face me!"
Malpractice (The Surgeon & Doctor Payne) -vs- Hibernation Domination -- The powerful Xiongmao is making huge waves with his out-of-control power style, and this match was no exception. Cuddley Claw was spirited but his usual limited self, but every time Xiongmao came into the ring, there were doctors flying all over the ring! -- Once again, Xiongmao got DQed for his PANDAMONIUM -- and once again he snapped and continued assaulting his opponent after the bell! Dr. Payne was barely able to escape, with The Surgeon helping him out. Winners: Malpractice by disqualification
Duplos -vs- The Headliners -- Johnny Rocket himself accompanied the musicians-turned-wrestlers. This was an excellent match. Duplos was hoping to ride momentum from defeating the tag champs in a non-title match last time....and nearly succeeded. However, Darth Brooks made a fierce comeback and turned things around for his team. Winners: The Headliners by Cosmic Cowboy Clutch
MAIN EVENT Ensor -vs- ?? -- Ensor came back out and stood in the ring, waiting. It didn't take long for his challenge to be answered. A true 'villain' indeed -- Leviathan -- stormed out, looking supremely confident. The minute he got into the ring, this one started. -- Both men went back and forth, trading offense. Ensor even landed his finisher early, but Leviathan somehow got his foot on the ropes. -- The two combatants were exhausted after the 15-minute mark, where this one spilled to ringside. Leviathan managed to smash Ensor into the ring stairs and slip back into the ring before the 10-count! Winner: Leviathan by countout
-- Afterwards, Leviathan went back to attacking Ensor! He smashed him repeatedly into the stairs. The Legacy and SoulWatcher rushed down though and made the save. Apparently they have forgiven Ensor for his 'meltdown' months ago too. It would appear the Junior FDF is here!
-- The show closed with a furious Doctor Payne, nursing minor injuries, pacing about his locker room and cursing Xiongmao. He got in Assassin X's face and yelled, " That AniMan nutcase is out of control! You want to win back our respect? You take care of him. Make an example of him!" -- Assassin X bowed. " I will not fail you." -- Payne snapped, " You'd better not. Because I really want that bastard to pay. I'm getting you and Xiongmao a Cosmic Cage match on the upcoming PPV. You show him that there are consequences for his little tantrums!"

Official Results
The Surgeon -vs- Narcotik -- The Surgeon controlled this one from beginning to end, using his experience to upend the newcomer. After the match, Surgeon left the ring, retrieved a syringe out of his 'medical bag' and tried handing it to Narcotik. Narcotik swatted it away and stormed off. Winner: The Surgeon by TIME OF DEATH
Dr. Payne -vs- Harm -- It was a twin killing for the doctors. Dr. Payne humbled Harm in their rematch. This time, Harm's suspect knee held up, but it didn't matter. Winner: Dr. Payne by KO TEMPLE CLAW
-- The Legacy, Ensor and SoulWatcher were shown backstage. The cameras came in midway, overhearing SoulWatcher, in a rare display of emotion, snapping, " Sometimes you need to fight fire with fire! I'm sorry, but against the likes of Leviathan....Symbiote....Umagapotamus....we need to take the kid gloves off!" -- Ensor shook his head fiercely. " Hell no. Your plan -cannot- be done. You need to drop that silly notion right now." -- The Legacy added quietly, " SoulWatcher, my friend, let me pose this question. I know your intentions are noble, but how would we be any better than those we are combating?"
Overtime -vs- Irish Heat -- Overtime seemed poised to win this one after a hot start, but the fighting Irishman roared back for a huge come-from-behind victory. The crowd thoroughly enjoyed this one, both liking the Gravity Ball legend as well as the tough newcomer. -- After the match, OT threw a fit and shoved the referee, accusing him of a fast count. Irish Heat got into OT's face and the two jawed back and forth. This one clearly isn't over! Winner: Irish Heat by DROPPING HEAT
Non-Title Match Ares (GWX Television Champion) -vs- Dark Star Creature -- This was a great match! The new TV Title wasn't on the line, but Ares' undefeated streak was. And it nearly came to an end because of the wild monster....but Ares hung in there for yet another big win. Winner: Ares by STAND YOUR GROUND
-- Cameras rushed backstage in time to see Symbiote standing over a bloodied, unconscious Legacy! The Brymstonian held his stained knife and hovered over the monk, staring at him.
Titan Death Rematch Strong -vs- Umagapotamus -- This one surpassed Ares-DSC as match of the night thus far. The always-dangerous Samoan and the popular newcomer from "the D" unloaded serious offense on each other. Strong received a SPIKE, and the crowd gasped....but he kicked out! Minutes later, he used his own finisher to upend the AniMan savage! Winner: Strong by Skyscraper Moonsault
-- Vin Strutter stormed into the ring after the match and, incredulously, got in Umagapotamus' face and berated him for losing again. He yelled, "The Carnival of Terror is in shambles, and you're not helping!" The Samoan Hippo Savage suddenly screamed out and gave Strutter a SPIKE!!! The crowd roared their approval. -- He then SPIKEd the referee, dove out of the ring, and gave a third SPIKE, this time to the timekeeper of all people. Some fans marked out over the vicious display, others started booing. Umagapotamus stormed over to Mot and Kram and reared back for another SPIKE....but by this point, Strong leapt out of the ring and onto the AniMan. The two duked it out until security at last got their act together.
Elimination Tag Match The Junior FDF (Ensor, The Legacy & SoulWatcher) -vs- Leviathan, Symbiote & Motor Psycho -- This became a 3 on 2 match, thanks to Symbiote's sneak attack. It degraded to 3 on 1 when an obviously frustrated Ensor got counted out early on. -- SoulWatcher tried to hold his own, but that didn't go well. Leviathan just destroyed him in the end. -- After the match, the three 'villains' triple-teamed SoulWatcher viciously! Ensor rushed in to help, but got laid out too. It was a sad, embarrassing night for the Junior FDF! Winners: Leviathan, Symbiote and Motor Psycho
Cosmic Cage Match Xiongmao -vs- Assassin X -- Dr. Payne stopped Assassin X before he stepped through the curtains, and told him this was his "big shot" and that he'd better not blow it. " Show that violent animal that nobody messes with Dr. Payne." -- Without DQs in the equation, this one was heavily in Xiongmao's favor. The AniMan was free to be his usual volatile self, and he DESTROYED X, leaving him crumpled in a heap. Winner: Xiongmao by PANDAMONIUM
GWX Tag Team Championship Match Wrestling's Honor (c) -vs- The Headliners -- Hegemony was seen before the announcements of the match, giving Varsity a pep talk. " Now, don't blow this one. You'd better than disappoint Wrestling's Honor -again-!" Varsity, a veteran with an obviously longer list of accomplishments than his young partner, scowled and said nothing. -- As irony would have it, The Headliners ganged up and beat down Hegemony in the early part of this match. He was able to make a desperation hot tag, and Varsity hoisted Wrestling's Honor on his back and turned the match around for an incredible title-defending win! -- After the match, Varsity brushed past his exhausted partner and snapped, " Sorry, did I 'disappoint' you again? Maybe next time I won't have to win a handicap match." Winners and Still Champs: Wrestling's Honor by HALO
-- SoulWatcher was furious about the dissection of the Junior FDF. He and Ensor were seen backstage, nursing their wounds. The Watcher, in an angry voice never heard before, snapped, " That's it. We do it my way. We bring in the ally I've been telling you about!" -- Ensor, holding an ice pack on his head, yelled, " Absolutely not! I forbid it." -- SoulWatcher shook his head and headed out of the room, pausing and muttering, " You're going to have to trust me."
Main Event for the GWX Championship Hitman for Hire Match with GWX Title on the pole Morbid (c) -vs- Tournament Master -- This one had a huge build-up going for it, and the crowd was anxious. Tournament Master finally handed over the stolen GWX Title, which was placed on the pole in the center of the ring. -- What an outstanding match. Tournament Master controlled most of the first 5-8 minutes, then Morbid dominated....and at the 15-minute mark, it became a back-and-forth affair. -- Morbid was able to lock on MORBIDLY CRUEL....and Tournament Master roiled and desperately sought to escape. But he couldn't....and yet he refused to tap out. Finally, the impressive newcomer passed out from the pain. Morbid released the hold, climbed the pole and retrieved his title at long last! Winner and Still Champ: Morbid by MORBIDLY CRUEL
-- As the show came to an end, Johnny Rocket caught up with his old nemesis Vin Strutter, who has limping towards the exit, a huge bruise on his neck from the SPIKE. " You can wipe that smug grin off your face, Rocket. I'm done here. The Carnival of Terror could have brought the GWX to greatness, but I didn't realize until now that this is a rinky-dink, no-good federation. I'm going to focus on where I should have been focusing all along -- the big leagues of the GWF. The Carnival of Terror is OVER!"
