Chikara has it's own commercially released DVD about to be released. Here's the info.

It's pretty much a Best of 2005/2006 release. Out of all of them I think the best match is Milano/Skayde Vs KOW. If you have never seen Chikara before the DVD would be a good introduction. It's just that the 2007 shows have been some of the best matches and/or shows in Chikara's existence. Still, if you're interested give this DVD a shot.

will be picking this up. Have some Chikara shows but wont get all of them so this will help. I haven't seen any lists of stores that are carrying it have you?

Very nice, comes out on my brother's birthday. Guess we'll both get presents that day.

It's said to be in the usual retail markets (Walmart? Best Buy?).

I would be surprised if walmart carried it because they tend to stick to WWE and maybe TNA every once in a while (not including the dollar dvds).. I will have to check out FYE and maybe Best Buy because they usually have this stuff.

I guess Best Buy you can get it online only. bummer, will have to check out the FYE by me.

If you can't find it in the shops it's available through Amazon.

Wife received this via a Secret Santa on another board and we watched it the other day.

It failed to impress me overall, but that may have been because Chris Hero and/or Castignoli were in like every other match; not saying that they're bad or anything, just that it didn't really seem very representative of the promotion as a whole. The matches being shown out of chronological order was also a bit off-putting.

Although we both agreed: Los Ice Creams? Hilarious.

While Chikara isn't my favorite promotion around, I love that Kingston/Sweeney match.
