I got to go see this show and it was immense amounts of fun I got to meet Bloody Harker Dirge and even ggot his Legends of Wrestling card straight from the man himself! I also took the opportunity to tell a few other people about the game. The matches were all very good. In light of all the negative publicity pro wrestling has gotten lately, it was great to see a group of wrestlers doin' it right and for the love of the business. I even took home a piece of the table that was busted over the head of one of the wrestlers in a hardcore match, with autographs on it The AWWL is coming back on the 15th of September and I plan to be there, and with more of my friends in tow this time. Chris Sabin was at the show. He wrestled against WWE prospect Adam Evans. Sabu will be on the regular roster. Michigan favorites like Conrad Kennedy III, N8 Mattson and Gutter. Bobo Brazil Jr (Bobo's real son).

Allen That's a cool story. Harker is a good guy who, even before getting his own card, helped to promote the game. Remember, if you can catch an indy show on ocassion, give them your support. Many may surprise you. Just because they aren't in the "E" doesn't mean they suck as wrestlers or entertainers.

yeah there are some good indies in my area. there was one that on their debut show had Lawler vs kamala and corino vs. dusty as the top two matches. their 2nd show has Joe vs Abyss and a 4 way featuring Xavier/antonio thomas/ec negro and jay lethal. They laided off the star power a bit lately but use some known indies guys who can work a bit (Xavier, John Walters etc.)
There was another on in my area featuring former WWE farmhand Steve Bradley (1st man to pin Kurt Angle he claims) always a wild brawl but I think they are out of business.. Will keep supporting the indies though

Will keep supporting the indies though That could be true as both were in Memphis Power Pro before Angle went to the WWE in Summer/Fall of 99. If not, it's a good gimmick!

Bradley was in the E's superbowl ad as an extra. Its too bad he never made it. I remember watching him at some of the WWE dojo shows and although he never had a great psyique he sort of reminded me of RVD. He really let himself go now and hes looking more like Brother Ray's slightly slimmer brother.

The next AWWL show at Birch Run has been moved to the 29th. I am really hoping I can go but looming financial issues may prevent it.
