My favorite fed turns five years old today!!!
After overcoming loss of talent, uncertain economic conditions, the infamous RF "incident", and numerous other obstacles it is a truly remarkable milestone for a small independent company that has ascended to the top of the independent wrestling world.
I cannot recommend this product enough and it continually improves and reinvents iteslf, so if you are unfamiliar with ROH now would be a great time to see tremendous wrestling. Wish I was going to be in Dayton tonight, but instead I will watch some ROH on DVD to celebrate.

And for any one interested, here is the link to the ROH video roster on youtube. Pretty cool stuff that is an alternative to televised wrestling.

results? Quick 'n dirty: Takeshi Morishima beat BJ Whitmer to retain the ROH World Heavyweight title after two backdrop drivers. Pretty much a squash. Samoa Joe beat Davey Richards after hitting a muscle buster from the second turnbuckle to the apron. Joe thanked the fans after this farewell match. Homicide won the 3-way over Christopher Daniels and Jay Briscoe after pinning Daniels (I think) with the avalanche Ace crusher. Claudio Castagnoli won the 6-way mayhem match over Roderick Strong, Shingo, Mark Briscoe, Matt Cross, and Pele Primeau (subbing for Delirious) when he pinned Cross. Primeau the last-second sub absolutely stole the show by taking a hideous, hideous s***-kicking for the first 3/4 of the bout--incredibly, he didn't get pinned. Standing O for him after the match. Lacey pinned Daizee Haze after Jimmy Jacobs nailed Haze with a spear. Tank Tolland squashed Mitch Franklin...just post-intermission filler. Jimmy Rave made Sterling Keenan submit to an anklelock. Matt Sydal beat Austin Aries to retain the Dragon Gate title. In the opener, Nigel McGuiness & Colt Cabana beat Jimmy Jacobs & Brent Albright. Oh...Delirious didn't wrestle, but he did do a run-in at one point, but damned if I can remember when. He made the save for one of the faces and then cut a promo in his own inimitable style. Really fun times with everyone busting their asses and a hot crowd--good enough that I plan on making a return when ROH comes back to Dayton in June.

I think he ran in to save Austin Aries from an attack by the No Remorse Corps (Roderick Strong & Davey Richards).

Yeah makes me wonder if Aries and Delirious will be the new Generation Next. Last night's show was a good show and the six man match was incredible. My buddies and I bought front row tickets for the next show in June.

The Irish Airborne also did a "run-in" of sorts. Dave Prazak opened the card by announcing that Morishima won the title, and that ROH tradition held that Morishima would be interviewed in the ring at the beginning of the next show. Nigel McGuiness came to the ring instead, and declared the Morishima ONLY comes to the ring for one reason, to kick a$$. Then the Airborne hit the ring complaining about needing an opportunity, and challenged Nigel and Morishima to a tag match. At this point, Morishima came to the ring behind the Airborne and proceeded to kick both their a$$es. Funny stuff! We believe that the Irish Airborne were probably booked in Cincinnati later on last night, hence their brief appearance at the beginning of the card. HWA superstar Jon Moxley also wrestled in a dark match, teaming with Sugarfoot and losing to Bobby Dempsey and another non-descript guy. The other dark matches had Shane Hagdorn successfully defending his Head of the Class trophy against Ernie O'Sirus (sp?) as the fans chanted "bowling trophy", and Sara Del Ray defeating a Miss Jacqueline look-alike named Josie. Sara and Allison Danger signed autographs at the merchandise table during intermission and did theit best to sell SHIMMER tapes. I got Allison's autograph on a Christopher Daniels DVD, and later informed my buddies that if I came home with a SHIMMER tape I would be spending the next year of my life sleeping on the couch.

[glow=red,2,300]HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!!!!!!!!![/glow] I got to see card #18 ROUND ROBIN CHALLENGE II in West Mifflin, Pa 04/26/03 [glow=red,2,300]LIVE !!!!![/glow] SAMOA JOE (C) beat DOUG WILLIAMS with a choke. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS beat PAUL LONDON PAUL LONDON beat AMAZING RED CHRISTOPHER DANIELS beat AMAZING RED HOMICIDE beat C.M. PUNK (best match of the night) My friends drug me, I didn't even want to go. I'd never heard of any of these guys, it was going to be horrible I thought. What I saw was the greatest wrestling I'd ever seen in over 27 years of watching the stuff. From then on I was hooked and could never look at the WWE the same again.

Round Robin Challenge II is a great show, very underrated to be sure. Christopher Daniels was simply on fire that night, and I liked the Carnage Crew - TWA hardcore match as well. And of course Punk - Homicide was spectacular. And although the match was not as good as I felt it could be, it is a joy to watch Doug Williams perform.
I may watch this again later today for old time's sake.

Where'd you get it? I don't remember who did it but there was a incredible chair shot on the show and a hurricanranna from the top rope to the floor.

It has been out of stock for ages at the ROH website, but I would check Highspots.com or Wrestlingsuperstore.com as both these sites have many older shows for sale, although at 20$ a pop instead of the ROH price of $15 for older shows.
I will look for you the next time I watch it. And I think the sequence you are describing was in the Carnage Crew - Texas Wrestling Academy match, which was just insane.

About ROH shows being out of stock, I have to say that as much as I enjoy the product they really need to get on the ball in terms of making their DVD library more available, as many shows have been out of stock for a LONG time. Makes a continuity obsessed person like myself go crazy when I cannot watch things in order and I often sit for many weeks without advancing my viewing due to the limited availability.
But if that is my biggest gripe with ROH, they are doing a lot of things right, since I like to complain about a lot of things. ;D
