I'm going to be at the ROH show in Dayton, Ohio, on the 28th. Any chance any of my fellow promoters are going to be there, too?

You know.... everytime they come I say I'm doing to make the drive from Columbus and never do. Though I hear the building they run doesn't have AC. So good luck with that.

Nope, there's no AC to be found in the Montgomery County Fairgrounds Coliseum, aka "The Oven." They also don't have any doors on the stalls in the men's bathroom or chairs that I'm confident will support my weight all night, but it's still more fun than I've ever had watching wrestling in a big arena. I say that now, of course, only because I'm not currently dying of heat stroke.

Tired. Very tired. But I survived The Oven. It was a fantastic show overall. There was a great four corners match, and excellent tag match with Roderick Strong and Jack Evans vs. The Bricoes (Strong's chops hurt me), and the main event was just AWESOME. It was a spotfest, but the spots were big and impressive and the blood flowed freely - we knew what it would be going in, and it didn't disappoint. I'd write more, but it's 2 AM and I've spent more than six hours behind the wheel today. Time to sleep for me. Did you end up making it, Dave? If you did, what did you think?

I rolled in at 8:30, just as Cabana and McGuiness were being introduced. Nice ring work by these two despite the horrible countout ending.
The Irish Airborne are local guys with a whole world of potential. Seen them on many local cards, and I love the fact they are getting exposure with ROH.
Daniels and Sydal put on a great match, I was surprised to see Sydal get the win. Daniels is a true professional. The tag match and the four corners match were good, although I would have liked to see more of Danielson.
We left before the barbed wire match. Not in my realm of enjoyment, and certainly not something for my 14-year old to experience.
All in all, it was a great time and I look forward to the next card in October!

I just keep hoping that I get a 40 minute Danielson match at one of the Dayton shows, but it hasn't come to pass yet. Delirious and the way everyone else interacted with him in the 4CS match made up for it. Agreed on Chris Daniels - the man just has no ego whatsoever, and he's the ultimate professional in this business. He and Sydal will make a great tag team. My wife left before the barbed wire match, too. She sat down with me and her brother as the students were putting up the barbed wire, and just the site of it made her sick. So, instead of watching the match, she got to hang out with the wrestlers at the merch table. That was good enough for her.
