You really can't say that Heyman or New Jack or even the other guys in the match are completely innocent. Sure it is stupid to sue ECW for putting you in a match that you said you were qualified to be in but at the same time Heyman should have figured out that this kid was 17 and completely untrained if not simply based on the fact that he was like 400 pounds with little to no muscle. The other guys in the match didn't do a thing to help the kid either so that kinda is a sucky thing too. This is one of those cases where absolutely noone is innocent. Whatever, I still can't stand New Jack. He is one of the few guys that I just don't want in LOW. I have absolutely zero respect for him.

But I guess when you got guys like Axl or Ian Rotten...you probably believed the guy as well.
I do see your point though pike. Blood in wrestling used to mean something back in the day, but in ECW it was just an every match thing...no big deal.
And I'm in agreement with you about New Jack. He and someone like Invader I...wouldn't have much of a use for them in Legends.

I just read that New Jack said at an indy show that he has signed with the new ECW. But then again it is just New Jack and he could very well be lying. I also don't see him lasting long in WWE with their new drug policy...that is if he actually has signed.

Does New Jack have a history of drug problems?

Just had to reply to this one. I personally love New Jack, I laugh everytime I hear one of his promo's because he is so over the top. I think with the case of the 60 year old guy getting "mugged" by Jack is hardly different then somone beating the crap out of Terry Funk who looks to be just as decrepid as that guy was. As for the Mass Transit thing, what did this kid think was gonna happen? He's gettin in a ring with New Jack who is clearly not a nice guy. He's been saying his entire career that he's no character, that's the real guy. Just my thoughts.

That whole Mass Transit situation was bull. The kid lied about his age, thats why New Jack was able to get the charges dropped. he did nothing wrong.
I mark for New Jack's balcony dives. If you dont like New Jack you're not HARDCORE.
lol ;D

New Jack gives this business a bad name, and violence just for the sake of violence... where's the talent and skill in that? Just my two cents.

IM sure you're a fan of Foley. Him and New Jack aren't much different as far as ring style goes. And both men can cut a pretty darn entertaining promo.
Anyway, Nah Ken..you're still hardcore.

New Jack was a heckofa wrestler back in old ECW, I used to work for an entertainment company that did sounds and lights for the NWA of WV/Ohio and he worked a show with us once, he did leaping of the basketball hoop spot and the crowd went crazy then we had dinner with him later on, man loves his oysters!

There's one HUGE exception... Foley doesnt go in there trying to intentionally and legimately injure someone. New Jack is nothing more than a street thug that found himself lucky and got in the business, He's gonna meet up with the wrong person in the ring one day and get himself taken out.

New jack and Foley are nowhere near one another. Foley is a thousand times the performer that New jack is. Jack isa spot wreslter, and he's dangerous and sloppy.
Foley's matches tell a story. There is more psychology in 5 minutes of a Foley match than in New Jack's entire career.
If this were rap, New Jack is Ja-Rule and Foley is 2Pac..they're both kinda doing the same thing, bit one of them is just ata totally different level.

My brother is the roommate of a guy who is currently doing some graphic design work for the new UWF, hq'd here in OK, Ardmore to be exact. He is also picking up New Jack from Dallas and driving him to Ardmore on Aug. 26 for their Total Annihilation event. New Jack will be facing Kareem Sadat in a hardcore match. The website is still in the works but a preview page can be seen at www.universalwrestlingcompany.com.

They still talk about the Gypsy Joe fight around here. Joe is well over 60, so say he is in his 80's, but no one will say it out loud. Joe is a mean SOB who challenged New Jack to the hardcore fight and gave as good as he got.
Believe it or not, NJ use to be a normal wrestler. He worked for Smoky Mtn and acually wrestled. I have a funny story about getting him cracked up during a match one night. Ah memories.

I just found a old Jarrett Championship Wrestling mag from 82. It has a pic of Joe, who is probably in his late 40s, doing his best Superfly impression.
He looks great in the pic!!!
SNX...you just need to book Gypsy Joe in legends!!!! Get some contact info and get him signed!
