I'm going to be on MTV this Monday night. The reality show "Room Raiders" taped an episode featuring Thomas & Chris Bussey, the "owners" of PCW in Arlington, Texas, where I work as PBP announcer. The show will climax in a match between the brothers over a young lady. I do the PBP, along with color commentator Chris Myers and ring announcer Travis Baxter. Lance Hoyt also makes an appearance on the show.
The show starts at 6:30 p.m. Eastern/5:30 p.m. Central. I don't know whether my face will be on camera or not, but it's OK either way. At least my voice will be heard. Of course, my VCR will be running.
While I have your attention, we had Charlie Haas working for us last night, and he was great both in the ring and in the back. Jackie was there, but she kept a low profile in the crowd as a spectator. I met her after the show, and she was very nice, as was Charlie. He's coming back to work for us on March 11, as is Sabu. These are good times for us!

He recently re-signed with WWE and is working indies while they try to come up with something for him. Aren't those under WWE contract basically off-limits? If not, I'll get another chance with him on March 11.

Hey Rob, got to just check you out. Good job. I want you to know, that was the first time I've voluntarily watched MTV in 20 years (since the Michael Jackson Thriller video!)
But it was fun to see a COTGer get their deserved time! Props to ya Rob!

Hey Rob, how do you think your appearance went?

Better than I thought it would. I was very pleased to see myself onscreen more than I thought I would, and those MTV editors made me sound pretty darn good. Not a bad clip to put on my resume.
